Reviews
The hotel is generally clean and the staff is friendly and professional. However, there are recurring issues with the WiFi and some rooms have maintenance problems. The property is under renovation, which can cause inconvenience to some guests.

The rooms had a lot of broken things such as the shades did not open on the window, the door did not open and close well. Both the room door and the bathroom door. The bathroom and bedding didn’t feel as clean as I would have hoped for the price.

I can't do much in the way of reviewing since I didn't actually stay there. My flight from DFW was cancelled due to weather so I made a reservation at this property because it had airport transfers. However, when I tried to call to ask for a transfer, nobody answered the phone number I was provided. I called at least 3 times and no answer. Because I was concerned about getting a room to stay I made another reservation at a Holiday Inn, and someone was able to come get me. When I asked for refund I was denied.

Available, clean and an okay breakfast. Quite a distance from the airport, inconvenient shuttle, funky smell in the room. Indifferent front desk staff.

Location and price Toilet was not working and had to switch rooms. Multiple broken parts in the room such as door handles and blinds. Some mold in the corners of the shower.

overall, a great place to stay

It was good except for the two roaches, "Burt" and "Earnie" who live in the bathroom. I took care of "Burt" for then so it's getting better...

Comfortable stay. Comfy beds and a nice shower.
- 3/5
Location is ok. The mattress is comfortable and the breakfast is acceptable . The floor is squeaky in front of the bathroom . The bathroom door makes very loud squeaky sound when open or close. The carpet can use a good shampoo. There are stains on the carpet . .

They spray some really awful smelling stuff in the elevator and hallways. Thank goodness they don’t spray it in the rooms otherwise I couldn’t stay there.

Room service left my door open twice. Dirty/hard water stained shower heads; HUGE roach in my stuff found on day 2, overnight guy was nice about getting me a new room (had to switch twice due to cleanliness and door bolt not working in the next room). Found another small roach morning of day 3. When I finally was able to speak with the manager, he was the rudest of all. Could’ve been an okay stay if I never spoke to the manager. :) He was disgustingly rude. 0/10 for his customer service. The only reason I’d book again is due to proximity of where I needed to be. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LYSOL/CLOROX TO CLEAN YOUR OWN TOILET SEAT FROM VISIBLE DIRT AFTER SWITCHING ROOMS DUE TO CLEANLINESS. 🙃

The room was exactly as advertised. I have stayed at a place where there was false advertisement. This place exceeds my expectations!!

The hotel is very well maintained, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Great value !

It’s good place . Value for the money with a great breakfast

Very comfortable and smelled so good! Loved the open coffee/tea area. Very quiet too.
- 4/5
The room was clean. We were across from the laundry room, so it was noisy when the industrial washers spun. The bagels at breakfast were stale and the cranberry juice was empty two of the three mornings. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
El dasayuno la verdad muy pobre pero todo muy limpio
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Our stay was very comfortable and quiet.
- 4/5
The bed was comfortable. Staff was polite and amenable to our request for a quiet room away from elevators and road noise. Breakfast was ok. I like a little more protein for breakfast. The breakfast here was mainly carbs. Gym was small but serviceable, and I used it.
- 2/5
Upon entering the room it was full of knats that wouldn't go away. We were killing them all weekend. We were awakened by loud noises that i found out was coming from the laundry room. This was not a good experience. I will avoid this hotel in the future.
- 4/5
It was in a safe neighborhood. The carpets need to be updated. There should be more hot items for breakfast.
- 4/5
Gym was not good. Treadmill stopped in middle of running. Mild odors throughout hotel
- 3/5
The same breakfast for the four days. My room was cleaned only once during my four-day stay, after I requested it. The ice tray appears not to have been cleaned for many months.
- 5/5
Loved it
- 3/5
The breakfast was horrible. Whole apples and whole grapefruit were the only fresh fruit. The coffee was the worst I have ever tasted. The scrambled eggs were waterty, and the in-room little coffee maker had mold growing in it.

We got there on a Friday night check in was great, staff was great. The room we received on the other hand was not acceptable. One corner wall the paint looked like it had water damage behind it and and in the morning looked like it got worse. The bathroom door stuck and was hard to close and open. I asked for an extra pillow and since the hotel was sold out there were no extras. Looks like a family wedding was going on. We stepped into the elevator and it started moving without the door closing and we immediately got off. The next morning after seeing some small blood splatter on the bathroom door and wall I went to inform the front desk. Woman in the front was awesome and was able to have another room cleaned for us and got switched rooms. At that point I asked if I could also get some kind of financial reimbursement for all that was wrong. Since they switch us rooms I was told that was us being compensated. The room we switched to was better but the shade to the window was broken and did not go up and down at that point we just dealt with it and made the best of it. I spoke to the front desk on Monday morning when checking out and the woman at the front was very sweet and said she would speak to the manager when I asked again if there could be some kind of financial compensation. I asked if they could call or email if something can be done but I have not heard back by the end of day
- 1/5
Wifi was to hard to figure out
- 3/5
The hotel was nice but the staff was confused. A guy checked us in went to the room key didnt work had to go back he gave me another key. The next day staff wants to argue that I was suppose to be checked out I'm telling them I book for 2 nights showing them the confimation and everything come to find out we were put in the wrong room under someone else name but she tells us they will fix it and we could just stay in the room we were already in. Leave to go get food come back our key not working why because of the same issue
- 5/5
The hotel looks like it's had some upgrades. It was very clean. Furniture in my room looked new. It was a great stay
- 3/5
Stayed here twice. First time was great. Second time bathroom was not cleaned up. Moved to another room and the black shade would not close. Moved back to original room after bathroom was cleaned. Front desk was helpful through all this. Price was good, and beds comfortable, but I don’t think I will be back.
- 2/5
A big Cockroach in the room at the night. Cleaning is bad, only take trash and the bed, the sofa have clean or vacuum during my stay ( a week). Curtains are broken after first day stay. Location is good but other than that’s it.
- 2/5
Mattress was completely worn out, had to put pillows under it to try and help. Was bad enough I left a day earlier than I paid for.
- 3/5
The stay was good, what brought down the starts out of five was a few things that were not good, the cleanliness of the bathroom was poor and the smell of the hallways was not pleasant. The bed was nice and the room was clean. The staff were all kind.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff nice breakfast would say again

- 2/5
Blinds won’t shut all the way, mold in shower, very smelly throughout the hotel including in room
- 5/5

- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Room and hotel were clean, breakfast was good
- 1/5
The room had bugs in it. On the floor and on the bed.
- 3/5
The check-in worker was super nice. I our room was very clean. However- someone had broke the chain off of the window, so the blinds didn’t shut. It didn’t go down all the way so the people lights on the cars in the parking lot kept shining through right at the bed and you couldn’t wear underwear and T-shirt because they could see through there…. And the bathroom door doesn’t stay open and keeps bouncing off of the standup shower stall, and the glass door on the shower stall. The only one that opens is right into the water… so all the water comes out on the floor and the refrigerator is on the floor… it did have lots of cool lights and very convenient USB plug-ins and spacious that’s about it. I won’t be staying there again.
- 1/5
My husband and I both received many bed bug bites in our sleep. The hotel seemed clean and the people were pleasant and the breakfast was decent. But bed bugs ruin everything.

Staff: They didn't take it serious as I waited 4 nights to get it addressed after complaining every day, and it wasn't fully resolved and this was after changing my original room for another problem.
- 4/5
Clean room, up to date hotel in general, comfortable beds and sheets were of high quality, shower pressure was great.. Hotel was in a good location, and employees were friendly and kind.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, staff was nice and always helpful. Hot coffee 24 hours a day. Infused lemon water was perfect. We’d stay again.

Our stay was excellent, room was spotless , breakfast was there and full of food in the morning . The staff was friendly and helpful . Thank you for accommodating us.
- 3/5
Room was decent, staff just fine.
- 3/5
The elevators smelled like sewage
- 4/5
The AC kept me warm and comfortable all night long.
- 5/5
The stay was excellent
- 3/5
Comforters were too thin. Mini fridge was on the fritz
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 3/5
Clean and super convenient. Unfortunately the breakfast was cold. Sausages were still partially frozen as were the eggs
- 1/5
The toilet dripped continuously. I had to close the bathrom door and turn music or the tv on to help muffle the sound. The first day, my room was cleaned and my bed was remade. The second, the trash was taken out and new towels were left, but the bed wasn't remade. I've also never stayed at a hotel that ran out of hot water, but this one did. It was freezing cold water and smelled funky. I unfortunately had some items stolen as well, which is the most disappointing part. Will not recommend.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Clean, and quiet very comfortable
- 5/5
Loved the room and the cleanliness of the place. Breakfast was small but decent. I had to wash clothes and the price of a small box of detergent was $4, instead of the $2 it showed on the price list. Other than that, everything else was great.
- 2/5
The location was great but the elevator smelled of sewer. And we specifically cancelled another hotel and booked this hotel because of the electric car charging station which we needed for our car rental. Unfortunately both of the charging stations were broken.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
The front desk, amanda is amazing and very helpful to us, also the breakfastbuffet are great. Thank you
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was very nice and welcoming
- 3/5
No handle on the sink. Needs some TLC.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff friendly
- 2/5
The grounds were not very well kept and the pool looked dirty.
- 5/5
I never needed house keeping because there was plenty of towels. I stayed three nights.
- 5/5
Excellent. Clean and well maintained.
- 5/5
I had a great stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Las Colinas. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable — exactly what I needed after a long day. Breakfast was fresh with good options, and the location is super convenient to everything in Irving and DFW Airport. Definitely a solid choice if you want a comfortable stay at a good price
- 5/5
Polite staff combined with a clean and comfortable room
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staff!
- 2/5
People were talking very load all night and then there was a young boy running up and down the hall way knocking on doors saying he couldnt find the elevator. There are dozens of individuals that live in this hotel and use all the common areas as they wish. It is just terrible how people are today when it comes to others.
- 1/5
BED BUG BITES! I was going to stay here two nights, but after the bedbug bites and the window shades that would not go up and the hair from the last guy in the sink and the mould in the shower and the lukewarm water in the shower, I decided to check out. The manager still has not given me the promised credit for the second day.
- 3/5
Room was cool but there was little upkept that should be before checking in customers. My curtains had some sticky stuff on it that you can tell was left my other customer to stick curtains together. Bathroom shower wasnt completely cleant. I understand they were doing some repairs and things of that sort but there were smells in the elevators and down some of the halls. The surroundings was safe and the customer service was great.
- 1/5
The staff was fine, it was the hotel in general it had a sewer backup we don't know when, however it went into the elevators shafts which had not been cleaned up so the smell was all over everywhere into the hallways and into the rooms. You had to hold your breath in the elevators. The room had a broken faucet, tiles missing just not kept up. The breakfast was not much better, only the coffee was good. We canceled the last night due to the sewer smell, they should have explained that when we checked in so we could have gone to another hotel. We believe we should have a credit for one night's stay as the whole experience was sub-standard and we won't stay in a comfort inn again.
- 2/5
Waiting forever while staff had argument with guest at the desk.People standing around but no one to help us.
- 5/5
More than anything, the staff. Very pleasant people. Everything about the property was clean and taken care of
- 4/5
The hotel was in need of a refresh in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decent for the price.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and very quiet
- 5/5
Yes
- 1/5
The whole hotel smell like human feces. Front desk mentioned the plumbing was broken and there was not fixed the entire night
- 2/5
The rooms themselves were decent. But the lobby and all of the hallways in the entire hotel smelled like sewage. The elevator was the worst! One of the elevators was stuck with the doors open on the third floor, where anyone could mistakenly walk into it, with no tape or warning of any kind posted on or nearby. The only working elevator smelled very strongly of sewage. I had to hold my breath before getting in. Everytime we left the hotel. I dreaded having to go back. Thank goodness that the stink wasn't in the room, or I would not have stayed there for the 2 nights that I did. That and the fact that they said they wouldnt refund me.I had booked for 3 nights but I couldn't take it anymore and demanded my money back for the final night. Still haven't gotten my refund back from them and its been almost a week.
- 3/5
First thing noticed was the really bad smell!
- 5/5
Breakfast
- 4/5
breakfast was good but housekeeper seemed to look at what you were eating closely..good wifi, comfortable bed, hotel was close to train station, ample parking, love Irving lived there 20 yrs
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean, as were both of my rooms. The staff performed very well and I received excellent customer service. I can only drink decaf coffee due to health issues… the decaf coffee served at breakfast was some if the best that I recall ever drinking!
- 2/5
Parts of the hotel smelled really bad because of a plumbing issue. It happens. But it was not ideal. Also the fan in the room made a weird noise and we asked for a different room. They gave us one. It was ok. The whole place just needs work.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly! Room was clean and breakfast was hot! Simple check in!
- 3/5
I went to get some snacks and initially the attendant at the desk said only cash or card (of course I left my wallet in the room), but after some conversation she charged it to the room. Overall it was ok.
- 3/5
Tolerable hotel but needs work. Had a roach in the bathroom, fire alarms semi-hanging out of the wall, linens and shower curtain were worn but functional, bathroom sink was missing the handle, water pressure was meh but usable. Worst part of the stay was the grotesque sewer-like smell in the elevator, and only one elevator was working. Parking lot was well maintained and felt safe. To give credit where it's due, the WiFi was excellent.
- 1/5
The room smelled like mold and there were roaches. It was disgusting! Within 5 minutes of walking into the room we started coughing and quickly developing phlegm in our throat. The staff seemed not surprised by my findings. They were respectful and kind. We left immediately.
- 3/5
This property has its strengths and weaknesses. Strengths: easy to locate, area is pretty quiet, staff is accommodating and helpful. Weaknesses: Building upkeep; specifically, the air conditioning and elevators. No AC in the lobby made for a very musty and unwelcoming welcome; should've been a sign -- don't know if it was being worked on or just maintained with the floor fans they had upon entry. The AC in the room itself wasn't much better, we stayed on the 2nd floor, and thankful the AC never stopped running completely but it never really fully cooled down in the room either. There was always a feeling of humidity in the room. Another sore spot are the elevators; one was broken and the one that was working was semi-functional at best. To the point where the door would open at your floor and only open halfway - you would have to slide the door the remaining part of the way to exit. It was a little odd. One last thing was the loudness of the toilet flush - at least in our bathroom - it was very similar to the pressured flushes in airplanes: not exactly the easiest to sleep through when your in the bed closest to the bathroom. Overall, I guess it's best to say you get what you pay for with this one.
- 4/5
Clean room. I just expected that my room would be cleaned after I came back for the day. Wasn’t a big deal, but I hope if I stay longer, it will be cleaned when I’m out.
- 2/5
Rooms were clean. Ac worked fine. My fridge, which was the most import thing to me, froze all of my salad kits. They said someone would come out and adjust the temp but ended up making it colder freezing my liquids. Breakfast was usual, scrambled eggs, sausage links or patties. Fruit, Texas waffle, yogurt, juice. Bagels, mini muffins coffee, tea. Sugar free options. One of the elevators didn’t work. And the other side was a little iffy opened super slow at times. Or stopped opening all the way a couple of times. It was muggy down in the lobby. But the lady was very welcoming and accommodating. I never got reimbursed for my food items lost due to their faulty fridge. I was traveling as a student for college. I don’t think I will be back here again due to my fridge freezing the meals I relied on.
- 4/5
Get a room on the third floor though, or you will hear your neighbor upstairs
- 3/5
The whole place stunk like cigarettes and toilet all over the hallway and the bedroom
- 3/5
It was cool just had a big cockroach in my room
- 2/5
Carpet ragged maid service did not come and clean room Mattress in rough shape
- 5/5
Front desk was friendly, check in went smoothly.
- 2/5
There was an awful awful terrible smell that got worse by the day. One day the elevators were shutdown to investigate the smell. We had to take stairs with bags as our room was on 3rd floor. There should be a compensation for this stay. It was not what was expected.
- 3/5
Property is old and needs updating.

Shower head need cleaning in bathroom and colorful looking material on the shower head
- 4/5

Not really a buffet as advertised. You can eat as many times as you like. Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, breads, waffles coffee, tea and juices.
- 1/5
The staff was nice, litterally everything else was the worst ive even experienced
- 3/5
Needs some things replaced, my shower had a big crack in the base
- 3/5
Location was great and close to the activities we had in DFW. However, the lobby AC was not working; the room AC did not cool well; the shower head was spraying from the connector and one of the towels were dirty.
- 5/5
Enjoy my stay and breakfast was good
- 5/5
the staff were nice and helpful. the shower was a little dirty but overall pretty good

The front desk staff were very nice.

I stayed at this hotel property for five days. All was ok up until the fifth day- when i arrived to my room there was a foul order coming from the restroom. As i was going to bed i turned off all the lights - laid down and noticed a bug crawling around. I jumped up and turned on the light and there were plenty of these bugs under the covers and on top of them. Same bugs i noticed crawling on the walls. I felt so icky behind this and went straight to the desk to ask for my room change. To top it off.. my check out was on that same day. But that morning i added two more days. I only stayed overnight inside the new room. I feel so disgusted by this experience I am not staying there another night. I will be asking for a refund. Yuck
- 5/5
Clean, huge room
- 5/5
Love it.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent - comfortable bed, clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff. The toilet was a little difficult to flush.
- 4/5
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was clean. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
- 5/5
Good value for the money
- 3/5
I guess the AC was out cause it was hot in the lobby. Handle was missing for shower, smoke detecter was hanging by wrap. Need to upgrade where needed.
- 3/5
Nothing exceptional staff weren't friendly but they weren't rude. It was clean.
- 1/5
Everything was terrible

The staff was great, but you can see the wear and tear in the room in different spots.

Excellent place. Highly recommended.
- 2/5
The day I checked in I told the Front desk person that there was mold in the shower and the faucet had no lever to turn it on and off, I had to turn it on and off by forcefully pushing the nub. He said ok and wrote in down. No one came by to check it. On the 2nd night I woke up to use the bathroom and turned on the light in the bathroom only to find a huge adult roach on the wall. Needless to say I didn't sleep well because I had no idea where he ran off to when I tried to kill him. I told the Front desk in the morning and all I got was an ok. I told them to make sure housekeeping went in to clean it from top to bottom. Of course when I came back the bed was made and I got fresh towels but the bathroom not the shower was cleaned. When I checked out the following morning I spoke to the front desk again about the issues and all they said was the manager was not there to deal with my issues and I would have to call back the day after I checked out to speak to the manager.
- 1/5
We asked to fix but nothing was done. Limited choice of food for breakfast. A lot of sugary stuff. Coffee machine was making only decaff. Another side was not working. Too hot and uncomfortable in cafeteria.
- 5/5
Had a very comfortable stay, all our accommodations that we needed were met warmly.

quick check in
- 5/5
The staff was very nice . The hotel is very well kept . The breakfast was good and had a decent selection. Will most definitely recommend.

The next morning we moved and the new room had a funny odor so we had to spray air freshener, door didn't close completely so had to be sure to pull or push it close& the dead bolt was missing. Breakfast wasn't the best at all.

Opportunities: No airport shuttle, poor communication from staff (this resulted in them cancelling my room and having to rebook and repay.), lack of communication through their messaging (sent a message and they took days to respond, and did not answer the question. Convieniently, they answered after I was unable to change my reservation. When it was time to pay someone called me three times during my vacation, and deactivated my room key, although they had permission and had my credit card on file.), and they make no attempts to resolve a poor customer experience. Try a different location if you are seeking a hassle free experience.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Great customer service from each shift. They made us feel at home! We will be back very soon!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was close to everything. That’s a plus

The cooling system was not up to par at all, one minute it was working the next, it was not. The entire building smelled like mildew, due to the inconsistant cooling switching from working to not working. At one point it was off, as well as the TV and wifi, not sure if it was due to an outage, the cooling freezer was not working at times, they sale ice cream and popsicles and even they were melting and refreezing, the laundry room washing machine one jas 2 machines, one was out of order the other had dog hair in it. I checked out a day early due to not wanting to deal with all of the hiccups any longer. During my checking out, I was told they could not check me out due to not being able since I was leaving a day early, I checked out literally at 8:30 on Sat and would like a refund for my last night! Insult to injury a roach was crawling on a towel.

I was over charged and hit with 8 transactions by this hotel staff totaling $700 when I only stayed one night. The hotel was filthy and the air quality made me so sick and ill.

The area was nice and quiet. The room was not up to par.

When we arrived, we waited for 30 minutes and couldn’t find anyone to help us check in. We walked around calling out for assistance, but no one was available. We also requested a later check-out and were willing to pay a fee, but they insisted we pay for an entire extra night — completely unreasonable. The front desk staff was not helpful, and the Wi-Fi barely worked half the time. I would not stay here again.

The staff were helpful, but computer system stopped working several times during check in and check out. The elevator doors became stuck open- I took the stairs after that. The bathroom faucet in my room (321) was missing a handle to turn the water on. The bagels served at breakfast on Friday were moldy (I spoke to a staff member who quickly replaced them.)

Their advertised electric car chargers are a broken mess. The woman at the front desk that can barely speak English just stares at you with blank eyes when you walk up. The property itself is kept hot and humid. Stick with name-brand chain hotels to avoid places like this that are run like the third world.

Looks like it was just newly renovated. Rooms were basic but clean and bed was comfortable.

A bit of trouble with the keycards, but overall clean and pleasant to stay at. It became slightly hot in the middle of the night, I'm not sure if it was just me or if the aircon didn't work properly.

Very comfy beds and great AC. Really enjoyed my stay here! Thank you! Could use a pool though.

First impression walking in? I couldn’t tell if I was checking into a cozy retreat or a repurposed office suite. Not exactly the warm welcome I was hoping for. Let’s talk about the king bed. You’d expect plush comfort, right? Nope. Instead, I was greeted by four of the tiniest pillows known to mankind. Like, decorative throw-pillow tiny. I asked for more and was told flatly, “there aren’t any.” Alright then. Moving on to lighting… hoping to wind down for the evening with something soft and ambient? Dream on. Every single light in this place is a blinding fluorescent bulb straight out of a corporate office. Even the bathroom light felt like a retinal exam. I had to shower in the dark just to protect my eyes. Speaking of the shower—sure, it’s spacious, but where do you put your stuff? Spoiler: you don’t. Only a tiny single ledge. I had to stash my soap and toiletries on the toilet because I refuse to set them on the shower floor like a barbarian. Then came the final insult: lukewarm water. No, not by choice. The hot water is capped. A big, beautiful shower that looks like it belongs in a spa—and yet I had to shiver through the experience like I was in a high school gym locker room. I’ve stayed in a lot of places over the years, but never one that felt so sterile, unwelcoming, and utterly unaccommodating. Asking for basic guest comfort like extra pillows? Apparently that’s too much. The vibe here
