Old property, staff were friendly and helpful, ac broke a couple of times in rooms and in the ballroom, carpet in the room was damp and sticky

The room appeared to be clean, but smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The toilet sang to you when you flushed it with this shrill operatic noise that lasted for a minute or so after the flush. They are now owned by Bonvoy Marriott, and charge for parking. You have to let them know you’re only staying one night. I was not impressed and I hope they have a major renovation coming because I was not impressed with what I saw.

It was a great experience from check-in to check-out. The pool area was a great place to relax. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay there, plus my room looked out over the airport and I could watch the planes takeoff and land.

Great place to stay when traveling overnight from the airport. The front desk staff were great. The room was perfectly clean, and the beds very comfortable. It was very convenient to dine in at the restaurant. The food and cocktails were delicious, and our server was a pro. Fantastic staff, great place to stay.

Thank you for upgrading my room — I truly appreciated it! The restaurant’s salmon and spinach were 10/10, and the strawberry lemonade the kind gentleman kept making for me was absolutely delicious. Everything was so good! 😊

The Sheraton DFW charges luxury prices for subpar rooms. My room was stale smelling, hot, and dark. I was told the AC had just been repaired when I got to the room. Yet, the air struggled to keep the room barely cool the whole night. I knew this was a persistent problem when I found the box fan in the closet. There were not enough lights in the room or bathroom. It was difficult to get dressed and make up my face in the dimly lit room and bathroom. For the price I paid I expected exceptional luxury but I was sorely disappointed. I will most likely not visit this hotel again. I don't remember the last time I booked a room at a Sheraton, I will be hesitant to book another room at a Sheraton.

The rooms are also dated and based on the amount of dust that was transferred to my t-shirt from the curtains when I looked out the window, the rooms are not well cleaned. Management needs to step it up!

The main lobby is so open and comfortable, clean, and cozy to. My stay was due to being a traveler in distress due to flight cancellations. So you can see the stress level increase there. But all of that was wiped away once I was giving a room key. The staff had personal amenities brought to my room as I without personal luggage . Great staff and even a better hotel, for you Bonvoy members the club lounge treatment was outstanding. If you ever are stranded in DFW Airport this the place to book a room for the day.

Once I got up to my room, I called room service. The line rang and rang and eventually went to the operator. I called again and the same thing happened. I phoned the front desk and explained what happened and they transferred me back to room service. Still no answer. I called the front desk again and they transferred me again, without allowing me to finish speaking. By this point, I was frustrated. I called the front desk again and explained what was going on. The woman who answered said “they’re busy because of the event. There’s nothing I can do.” I explained that this really puts a damper on the experience of any guest at the hotel that wasn’t with the event and she said “okay” and restated there was nothing she could do to help me. I finally just went down to the crowded and very loud bar to order food to go. When the food was ready, the server didn’t even acknowledge me. She simply placed the food on the bar next to me and turned away to talk to one of the bartenders. The customer service overall was terrible and I was left feeling extremely devalued. I travel to the area regularly for work and will NEVER stay here again.

We arrived at the airport and tried to call the Sheraton to check on the shuttle. The phone rang for 21 minutes before I hung up...nobody answered. Online it said the shuttle has a schedule of pickups every 30 minutes. We waited 45 minutes during the day and no shuttle. The hotel temperature was cold. Even staff were wearing heavy coats. We tried to have a quiet meal, but a cleaning crew made that impossible. They were moving tables throughout our meal, making very loud squealing noises. We will find a different hotel our next time in Dallas.

Everything about the hotel, the restaurant, the front desk, the room was wonderful EXCEPT the airport shuttle. The 6:30am did not show up at all. There were so many people waiting for the 7:00 ( which did not show up until 7:15), that many of us had to pay an additional $30-40 to take an Uber to the airport. That was disappointing & an additional unexpected expense.

Due to severe weather conditions all flights were grounded at DFW Airport. Had to stay overnight along with about 100 more customera. Front desk had two employees and they handled it all beautifully. I was very impressed! Thank you, I will definitely stay there again.

The most disappointing thing is that the advertised airport shuttle was inconsistent at best but more like non-existent. It was a heavy travel day with lots of stranded, delayed passengers that were relying on that shuttle to get to/from airport and the Sheraton did not deliver. It was a big miss and very disappointing.

Very nice hotel and amazing breakfast. The lady at the front counter was extremely cordial and polite. Would go back 1000 times. In this day when service industry is so crappy, this was a breath of fresh air! Our flight was cancelled and we were offered a complimentary breakfast. Just amazing!! This means her leadership empowers staff to go the extra mile. Much appreciated!!

The morning staff on December 23, 2024, were truly exceptional. In particular, the front desk attendant went above and beyond to assist me and my daughter. She patiently addressed all of our questions and concerns, demonstrating a level of dedication and care that truly exceeded our expectations. Shuttle service was disappointing, on hold 20 mins then difficult to navigate the construction and driver left when I was approaching van. Had to call back and Meredith kindly sent another van. This was after 1am. My flight arrived at 11:00pm.

The Staff is Something I’ve never experienced before in My 15 years of traveling for Business. The Hotel in a Season where it’s cooler outside, kept their Facilities very cold, the room where we met for Conference felt like they Put the air on Antarctica, so unreal. From the moment I checked in I was treated like I was illiterate. Several times I in every nice way possible tried to explain I had a reservation through Hotels.com, in a very Short Snappy way, The Front desk Attendant while on phone said to me, ID Please. I assumed that she only needed that and everything would automatically pulled up. On my last Day of the shenanigans of this Hotel, I wanted to try their breakfast. At time of making my reservation I called this Hotel In October, they were overly nice on phone, explaining everything included, and stated a Breakfast voucher was. I guess somewhere along my 3 night stay that changed, so on Monday I decided to ask about after I watched 2 of my colleagues get one, once again very not informative, A different staff member says it’s $24, now I’m confused. And they did not explain at all. The last straw was I asked will I still get my One Key Cash rewards, the staff stated, I don’t know what that is and of course left my question unanswered. I was so ready to leave this establishment, I didn’t even bother to use their Shuttle to airport, I ordered A Lyft!!! Getting away from there quickly as possible. Never again, and Neither will my Future Clients or Colleagues as well.

I am writing to you as I had a situation at one of your hotels and was honestly quite appauled. I checked into the Sheraton DFW Airport hotel on Saturday October 26, 2024 and had arranged to spend two nights, with check out Monday October 28, 2024. I had important and strenuous business meetings Saturday and Sunday, and was exhausted by Sunday night. I was looking forward to getting a good night’s rest Sunday night before flying home on Monday. I laid my head to rest and dozed off. However, I was awakened by scratching sounds in my room. I got up to see what was going on and was shocked to see cockroaches scurrying about the room. I am attaching a video of one of them on the wall. Needless to say, this made me very uneasy and unable to rest. I gathered my belongings and made my way to checkout. I have always thought of the Sheraton as a quality hotel and a hotel that I could count on to provide excellent customer service. This stay certainly did not meet that standard. When I went to checkout and spoke to the young lady at the desk, she apologized and offered to provide me with points, as she informed me there was no night manager on duty at that time. Yet, I was awake, having to check out of my room at the wee hours of the morning, as I could not lay down or just sit in the room with the cockroaches. Not very nice. Refridgerator broken, all ice machines but one, broken but you had to go floor to floor to figure that out. Pretty outdated, not very clean, and some staff, although nice enough, were not like the typicsl professional, uniform desk clerks. Eating, on phones ect in front of guests. The staff were nice but I didn’t have hot water in the bathroom. The night courtesy shuttle driver was nice and friendly. Some of the rooms are a little dated and needed remolding. The thermostat in my room was on 67 with fan on high and the room never got cold. My coworker said he found a roach in his room.

Paying $180/night should entitle you to a working AC, grime-free bathtub and a mirror that isn’t deteriorating before your eyes. I thought I might break the curtains attempting to close them. There was also a mini fridge just sitting on the floor next to the dresser which was a first for me.

The AC was not working in our room. It would not allow us to change the temp and it seemed like the room would not go cooler than a specific temperature which was not accurate on the thermostat. There was a hair in the towels in our bathroom and the bath tub was grimey and didn’t seem clean. The facility had chipped paint everywhere, run down furniture, and needs a good renovation done everywhere.

Very clean room with stylish decor. I also liked that it was very quiet despite being so close to the airport. Only real disappointment was the desk staff were not especially welcoming at check in and I had to ask them about the hotel and shuttle service rather than them offering to tell me about the place. Not a huge deal but a little off-putting.

Staff was super nice , but the air conditioning went out upon my arrival. I was told they would move me the the Double Tree down the street to accommodate me, but I got my reservations through a third party therefore I would have had to call them to cancel my reservation, have the the Sheraton to confirm and then rebook with you which meant my refund could take days and I was in no financial stay to do that. Needless to say I asked for a fan that kept me pretty comfortable overnight.

I had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, waited by very friendly staff. That was good because there were very limited options otherwise. My room was nice and quiet in spite of having a wonderful direct view on planes taking off. And yet, the attitude of the two staff at the front desk spoiled the whole experience for me. They were more than unfriendly; they were hostile in their way of speaking really fast probably hoping that I would struggle (I have a foreign accent it I have lived in this country for more than 10 years so this did not happen). They were making rude gestures (shrugging their shoulders because I asked whether the restaurant was open). Everybody can have a bad day but taking it on the customers is just not acceptable.

Our reason for picking this hotel was the shuttle service. Guests need to know that the shuttle handles both the Doubletree and Sheraton properties so the ride is going to take at least 40 minutes going to all the airport terminals.
