We had to leave early due to an untimely death in the family; because I made the reservation through Expedia, Marriott would not refund any money. I will have to rethink reserving a room at Marriott in the future.

We stayed to have breakfast at the hotel and Gabe that works by the food counter was amazing. Nice, great customer service and we witnessed how very patient he was with one of your older guests. We really can’t wait to come back I think we found our go to hotel next time we come to Jacksonville.

We've stayed at the property twice while in town for a cruise. The rooms are beautifully set up and very comfortable. There's a Walmart directly behind the property. The cruuse port is rather close. The only real negative is the parking...but it is free.

Beautiful hotel property with upgraded and very comfortable rooms. Parking is good, extra parking at back of property. Main level has bar/eating area that is updated and welcome cookies were a nice touch. They were upgrading the computers so our check-in time was incredibly slow, but otherwise staff was friendly. One odd thing, the shower water stopped mid-shower, then restarted barely. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

This is the only hotel I stay at when I’m in town!! It’s the best

Everything was really good except. They charged me twice and I have not got my deposit back. I was supposed to get $50 back for a deposit and I’m also supposed to get my money back from Booking.com. I got neither one so I’m in the hole $200 and not happy about it. Not sure if I’ll even stay there again.

The check in was awesome! We arrived an hour before checkin and the staff was so accommodating. She found a room that was ready for us. The room was very clean and comfortable.

There was no water pressure when taking a shower.

The food was not very good, we got the pulled pork and the turkey blt both were bland and had a weird taste.The hummus was good. We ordered food at 6pm and was told it would be 10 minutes . It took over 30 minutes to get the food. When it was ready the bartender had disappeared so the cook brought us our food after looking for the bartender and apologized. This out is behind our schedule to leave for a concert. The way the tv pulls out in relation to where the bed is, was not great. You can't see the whole TV laying in bed. They were doing construction in the hotel during our stay, on our floor. It was loud and woke us up in the morning. If I had known we would not have booked here.

Room was clean but lots of construction going on in the building that generated plenty of noise starting at 8:30-9:00 a.m. Onsite restaurant provided comfort food that was okay. It was a bit overpriced for the quality but convenience was helpful. Great access to get to Port of Jacksonville.

Hotels dot com allowed for the option of breakfast included in booking or not. We chose to pay more on booking so to have breakfast included. When we showed to breakfast the next morning of our booking, we found that the new owner elected to have a cook to order restaurant handle the hotel’s breakfast. Their menu was a pay accordingly. So, looks like we paid twice for breakfast for two people. Oh well.

There’s no breakfast. Not provide internet unless you join. Which not good service. There are a lot 4star hotel that provide internet and breakfast. I don’t know if we still want to come back in this hotel, though it’s close to where we want to go. So far, place is clean but only provide you with a little soap, no garbage liner

We had a difficult time with the air conditioning. It was very cold in our room and we didn’t understand how to raise the temperature.

Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Hotel did not have available CPAP distilled water. Really should have that as quite a few folks need it. Who wants to go out to get it after a long drive or flight. Most give it to you but even if you had to pay a couple of bucks. Really missing the mark here.

The bistro food was absolutely amazing. Jean is an amazing chef and bartender. He was so friendly and the food was sooooo good. We had the fries and cheesecake which were phenomenal. Another customer got the ribs and those looked amazing. I forgot to take a picture of the food but i did get a picture of the empty plates.

I specifically wanted to go to a hotel that offered a pool but more importantly a hot tub and a fire place. This was my husbands birthday weekend so I wanted to do something nice. The check in service was great, very friendly staff, the lobby looked very nice and promising with a nice little bistro as well. When we got to our room, it was nice and clean. The only issue I experienced was the bathroom vent not working, I did not bring up this issue because it felt pointless after everything else. We were excited to go to the pool area and enjoy our evening in the hot tub for a few hours. When we got outside the pool area was empty. We went to the hot tub and tried turning it on but it wasn’t working. We called up to the front desk and were assisted by staff but not much could be done except an apology and to wait it out till it might start working and heating up. After a while we gave up and wanted to warm up by the fire pit….guess what wasn’t working either…..we called up at the front desk again and staff tried to assist but they also weren’t able to assist and we were told to just wait and see if it comes on eventually…it didn’t. We let the front desk know we were going upstairs and were offered two water bottles to make up for it…..really upsetting honestly. Would not book again.

Beautiful room w/friendly staff. I was in town for just one night but wish I could've enjoyed the room longer. Room had tub, microwave and refrigerator, which i always love. And, I could veg out watching Netflix, a feature I wish more hotel chains had available. I could walk to a restaurant across the street and to Walmart! If I return to FL, I will definitely choose this Courtyard.

I missed my flight so I never stayed here. I asked for a refund and they denied me stating that I had checked in and stayed when I clearly did not. These people lied to deny me a refund and they’ll do the same to you and not think twice about it.

Stay at the hotel was great. However, Beware of the transportation service, EM Shuttle service, LLC, promoted by the hotel. We used this service coming back from the gator bowl, and feared for our lives. The woman driving was speeding, running red lights, and passing cars in middle of intersections, just to name a few. She quoted us $20 each for the ride back and when she dropped us of, charged us $30 each. For us it was a very dangerous and unpleasant experience using this service.

The gentleman that was at the desk and checked us in was the nicest, warmest, front desk person I have ever meet in all my many times of staying in hotels. The hotel was amazing and clean but the gentleman at the desk when we checked in set the standard for why this was a great stay.

Hole in the hotel room wall, scratches and marks all over the walls, and toilet paper holder broken. Just not typical of a Marriott standard hotel and very disappinting.

Asked for guest services to bring up lotion and makeup remover but they never did. Everything else was outstanding. Wish there was a continental breakfast!

Nice hotel and staff. Location was odd as it was open on all four sides to noise, traffic, and people. This may not impact everyone but, for me, it was a little noisy and it didn’t allow for quiet spaces/areas on the grounds. The bathroom was in need of repair. The shower glass door wasn’t entirely clean. Garbage bags were not in the receptacles, the toilet paper and shower handles were both broken. The ceiling showed signs of water damage as well.

Room needs maintenance. No operating vent fan in bathroom. Wall where bathroom door hit is damaged. Shower curtain worn out and too short. It isn't terrible. I just expect more from Marriott.

It was easy to access a bank, shopping, food, etc all around the hotel.

Rooms are nice. Pool, dining option at bar or table. So you have option to eat there instead of finding a restaurant. Walmart is right behind this hotel which helps with last minute things you need. I like this hotel with Jacksonville cruise port close.

Location location location. Places I needed to go within miles of each other. I would stay there again if I need to go back to Jacksonville.

Overall my stay was fine but after traveling 25.5 hours finding out that my booking wasn't properly done is a major disappointment. If you are providing this service, you need to make sure the bookings are done properly!

Very friendly staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We didn’t stay long enough to get to enjoy as many of the beautiful amenities as we would have liked to but the breakfast(French toast with fresh strawberries) were incredible. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We will definitely be returning.

Comforter had some gross stain on it. Only stayed one night and turned the comforter so it didn’t matter, but it still grossed me out.

The TV never did work right and the bottom drawer of the unit wasn't working right. Little oversights that people don't check on.
