Upon entry to the room, the smell wasn't fresh. The halls wreaked of a pungent odor. They appeared to be at full capacity so I didn't go back to the front desk. I Typically stay at this location for the cleanliness. Not sure if it made a difference but that 4th floor was not the best.

Well they charged the card for the whole amount of my stay on to my own personal card. Instead of the card of payment they were provided by hotels.com. This whole time ive been starving and struggling to figure out my trip.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures. This place was quite dirty. I am almost certain I got bed bugs from here as well. The water in the shower also was only luke warm just like some other reviews said! Have never had this happen at a holiday inn! The breakfast was only redeeming quality, but this place is a dump. TV also was horrible, purple hue, very old (despite tvs being very cheap now a days!) and no ability to stream phone or apps to it…. Again this is just unacceptable for nearly $200/night. I don’t usually write bad reviews and I travel alot, but this was terrible.

I booked this stay an hr before getting to the hotel. The app automatically changed the date to the following day, I had put in the correct date initially. I realized it with the confirmation text right away. I called the hotel and they directed me to expedia. I called expedia and after 40 minutes of sitting in the parking lot of the hotel, the Expedia rep told me it would be taken care of and to rebook again. I rebooked, and this time paid attention to the site…it changed the date again. We checked in and the hotel desk agent said this was a common problem, and that the hotel would not charge me for the first reservation. Two days later I got an email saying that I would not get my refund.

The front doors were locked. After knocking 3 times we were scolded by the front desk clerk who said “you don’t have to break it, there is an intercom”. The intercom is not easily visible nor are there any stated expectations on how to proceed when the doors are locked.

Clean, newer property. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Well lit public areas. The room was too well lit. The light bulbs are blinding. The bed is quite high. I am 5’2”, and had difficulty getting in and out of the bed. Outer part of mattress is rock solid, making it uncomfortable to sit on the edge of the bed. TV picture was dark, and difficult to see. Was not able to figure out how to adjust the settings. Unsure if I would stay again if I was in the area.

This staff is truly a joy!

There was hair all over the room. Hair under the pillows, hair on the floor, hair in the shower, hair in the blankets. Not just little fuzzy hairs but long dark hair. The tile floor left a slimy feeling on feet and showed out shoes foot prints. Whatever the cleaning solution is for the floor is not working well enough.

Property was perfectly located for the reason we were there. Close shopping & reasonably close restaurants. The front desk staff was not very friendly nor accomodating. We had two rooms and tried to get them at least on the same floor and wss told no, room assignments are what they are. Normally do not habe this problem at other hotels.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast standard but there are other options close if you want to pay for food. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were some signs of aging but the hotel still looks fairly new. The location is great. It is easy to find and close to the Highway.

Upon check in Friday June 6, 2025, the front desk lady was not friendly at all. She didn’t have a name tag and she was NOT very helpful. At first glance our room was very clean, until I pulled the covers back to inspect my bed and I found bodily fluid spots on sheet, hair and the pillow case looked as if someone used it as a handkerchief. I went down to the front desk to inform her of my findings. She responded “ Housekeeping is not here and I’m by myself and the only thing that I can do is to send you up clean linen. Needless to say I found a Ross and purchased my own bed linen and towels. As of checkout on Sunday June 8, 2025 I still hadn’t received the clean linen as promised. Thank God I had decided to go get my own because she could care less. However, the Housekeeping Supv, Housekeeping Director, & Manager was very apologetic as I was checking out and I told them what had happened. I felt as though they genuinely cared unlike the lady that checked me in.

The overall stay was good. Quiet hotel. The only complaint was that the floors could use a good carpet shampooing and the bathroom floor needed mopping with a better cleaner also, they both felt dirty to our feet. Would stay again based on the overall stay though.

Passing through on way to Destin and stopped for the night. Even though there was a little mess from remodeling, things were satisfactory with getting around the lobby, pool, and dining area. Rooms were clean and nice. Close to a Cracker Barrel too. Would definitely stay again.

Holiday Inn Express was a good choice. The parking lot was a little dark, not many lights. It may be due to the time change that night because the lights eventually came on.

Our stay was great for the time we were there. They were renovating inside of the hotel though. The bed was comfortable and we appreciate having Dove products there as we use those at home. We came a little early and wasn’t allowed to check in early. Didn’t like that but the desk assistant explained why

We stay at this hotel at least once a year. It has been recently renovated and the room we had was nicely appointed with a clean, bright and functional improved look. Unfortunately the new tub/shower surround was missing grab bars on the wall which makes it challenging for many visitors.

I am only giving a 4 star on condition because they were under construction. However, they were still able to serve breakfast in the conference room. And still, this hotel's breakfast is one of my favorite. I usually don't get hotel eggs, but their omelets are very tasty. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the pillows. The feont desk staff was very very nice. This is our second stay, and i will continue to stay here when we are in this area (Jacksonville Equestrian Center)

Very nice and helpful staff. The room was very clean and well stocked. The only thing was a concern was they are in the middle of doing renovations to the front lobby and the area for the breakfast and coffee was not available. The staff did make sure we had coffee and muffins before leaving in the morning.

Was under construction didn’t have my own room key Maintenance guy had to let us in and out of our room and in the middle of the night another patron told him it was there room and he tried to open our to doer around midnight , but he did apologize for it it but scared the dickens out of me

When I booked my stay at this hotel I was never informed that they were working on the entire lobby floors. The entire lobby and downstairs area flooring was all pulled up. They only had one elevator available with a note up that the floors were being worked on but not a single worker was around and the entire 5 days I was there no progress was done to the floors. The breakfast was not as described on the website and was absolutely terrible and not a full breakfast and on our floor the ceiling was leaking water from the rain. Also the cleaning staff would forget to leave towels in our room when they came in to make the bed. I will never be staying here again.

When I first walked in the lobby was under renovation which kind of shocked me wasn’t ready for that. Then when I got to the room it was amazing. It was the cleanest room in a hotel I have ever seen. It was immaculate. The bathroom was spotless it looked like it was new. The chrome fixtures even shined. I was extremely impressed. The staff was very very nice.

The room wasn't cleaned after the first night and I had to go to the lobby to get towels. The next morning at 11:01 we received a phone call asking when we are leaving the room, which was annoying since their service was not adequate during our stay.

The hotel was perfect for our family of 6. And the service was fantastic! From the incredibly nice woman at breakfast to the housekeeping member who promptly notified the front desk that our daughter left behind her retainer and a book. We were only 20 minutes away when the front desk called!
