This is my husband and I's favorite place to stay when he has appointments at Mayo Clinic they always take care of us we know what to expect convenience customer service a wonderful stay as always

Everyone was very nice and the rooms were clean.

I checked in at night and the staff was super up beat and friendly. He was very helpful and got us checked in quickly and easily. Would stay again if in the area.

The only downside was the bathroom. The lighting wasn’t great, the shower drain backed up while showering, and the water temperature was difficult to regulate—it seemed to be either very hot or very cold with little in between. The floor also felt a bit damp, although that may have been due to the humidity. Aside from those issues, the stay was comfortable, and I appreciated the cleanliness and helpful staff.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. Understood the situation and were caring. The hotel atmosphere was great, the indoor/outdoor pool was lovely.

Website said free WiFi in room, (did not have it) DVD player in room, (was not & couldn’t get one) in room coffee maker, (had to go to lobby to get it) the A/C was awful. Either you froze or burned up. Even the toilet seat was so loose you felt like you were being slung into bathtub. I paid for two nights, but left the next morning I was so disgusted. The girl at the desk said I wouldn’t be charged for 2nd night but I was.

The shower had a little mold as well as a picture hanging in the room. The room would get very hot and humid if you turned the fan down to low or auto, so we had to keep it on high the whole time. The hotel is very close to Mayo Clinic which was a plus for us and also has a shuttle to/from the hospital. For the price we will stay there again.

This hotel felt old and unclean. There were bugs, shower leaked, and the ac made a dripping sound.

Fine property but tucked away in a shopping center and hard to find!

Very clean, and attention to detail. I loved walking into towel animals; it reminded me of the time I was on a cruise ship and immediately cheered me up. Breakfast was great too, and shuttles to Mayo are amazing. Although I didn't use it, knowing it was an option was nice to know.

The bed was lumpy and it felt like it had a divot from way over use. The pillows were also Lumpy and flat. We were put into a handicap room which we did not need and the shower was way too low for someone who stood in the shower to use

As physically disabled traveler, I was impressed w roll-in shower!

Good proximity to Mayo Clinic. Even though there was not an in-room coffee maker, the coffee in the lobby was some of the best I've ever had. I'm not a breakfast person, but the daily breakfast looked great with a large variety. Room price was very reasonable. Maintenance was quick to solve a problem with our toilet (iykyk) Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: The pool was closed for maintenance when we arrived so I was unable to use it before my scheduled surgery at Mayo Clinic. The hotel is pet friendly, but there was a strong dog odor. We had to buy some Febreeze and spray the carpet often.

I have zero complaints about this hotel - both my room and the property were very clean and peaceful. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and welcoming. There were plenty of delicious options for breakfast and coffee and lemonade were available all day in the lobby. There was a nice sized grassy area behind the hotel to walk your dog. There is a grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance and lots more options within a short driving distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was great, warm and well stocked. More than typical discount hotel.

Parking is free and easy, and guests can walk to decent restaurants and a Publix.

Overall our short stay was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful and check in was a breeze. A couple of items could use a little maintenance: the toilet seat in room 214 is loose and precarious, and I found the air conditioner to be somewhat noisy. All in all, though, we were quite happy and comfortable. Breakfast surpassed all expectations!

Not sure why I ever stay at any other hotel chain other than the Holiday Inn express! Pretty much can always guarantee extremely comfortable beds and pillows, and a great breakfast! The staff was wonderful for the most part and extremely helpful!

Great location for Mayo Clinic patients. Had higher expectations of the “very good breakfast” published. Overcooked scrambled eggs served on styrofoam platea and plastic silverware does not fit my idea of very good breakfast.

The fan blows constantly and the air is cold and when you turn up the thermostat it is only warm for a while, then it’s cold again so you can’t sleep comfortably.

Staff greeting could definitely be warmer and more helpful. Many of us come after a long travel day and could use the welcome smile. The bed was uncomfortable and I got very little sleep. The breakfast was the worst at any Holiday Inn. Ever. We had to race to an appointment at Mayo Clinic or would have voiced our concerns before leaving.

I know it’s difficult to find good front desk help, and the first girl upon check-in was very friendly, but slow as molasses. The next morning, I went to get coffee I couldn’t find it because the lights were turned off in the dining room. When I asked the girl at the front desk. She pointed over in the general direction. I said the room in the dark and she said yes

The woman in charge of keeping everything tidy and filled did an excellent job! Check in and out were speedy. This hotel also offers a shuttle to Mayo Clinic if you dont want to drive there, though it's just one exit away off Rt. 202/Butler Blvd. A Publix is in the plaza next door should you need/want anything.

We suffered from a power outage from about 3am to 830am. We had to use the light from our phones to move around in the dark. It was cold so I sat in my car to stay warm for a few hours. I thought we'd get compensated for such a terrible experience but nothing was said or done. I was very disappointed.

We left the room at 7 am for Mayo clinic got back to the room at 5.45 the room was not clean i went to the front desk and ask she said she didn't know but she page housekeeper to come and clean the room whit us in the room when we wanted to relax after a tired day to me is poor costomer service very disappointed not worth the money i pay i would not recomended to no one they need more help poor management

Good location for a family vacation

The staff that prepared breakfast kept the dining area clean, and were accomodating. The shuttle was convenient for Mayo patients, as its extremely busy at Mayo.

There were still 45 minutes left before breakfast ended, but there weren't enough food items for the guests. When we returned to the room after breakfast, we couldn't get in because the key wouldn't open the room, so we ended up late for our meeting.

The hotel television only had CNN available. No Fox News. The breakfast bacon and sausage was very greasy and the pancake machine was out of order again. The hotel and property was clean and the staff was friendly. Will not stay there again due to not having Fox News.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and some options changed daily. They have a water fountain with a water bottle filling station which is convenient but filter needed to be changed and we could tell the water quality changed throughout the week. Communicate with staff though and they were prompt to handle any issues we had during our stay. We would come back!

I checked in and I ended up staying an extra night after checking out and then getting another room the first time I stayed there for the two days I kept hearing the washer and dryer for my room and there was only maybe 9 to 10 stations on the TV Which was all news and I am disabled so I wasn’t able to leave my room the third night I stayed there. I checked into my room unpacked everything and 10 minutes after I was in there I kept wondering why the floor felt wet and sticky along with the pillow spilling damp so maybe disabled I had to pack up everything plus my service dog go to the front desk and she put me into a different room, but the fact that I had to deal with all of this when I shouldn’t have had to plus the bathroom door look like it was coming apart and it’s stuck. The refrigerator in my room was not keeping the food cold

Honestly it was a solid hotel. Staff was nice. Easy check in. Decent price. Great location (we smeared there for Mayo). And it had a ton of options for food writhing 10 minutes. Room just smelled a tad musty and as a whole the building kind of smelled mildewy.

We found our room to be clean and very comfortable. My husband has had several appts at the Mayo Clinic over the past several months. Last time, we stayed at the hotel closest to Mayo's campus. The cleanliness and excellent customer service at your hotel far surpasses that hotel.

Having a medical condition that requires frequent medical trips to multiple locations this was by far the easiest, nicest and most comfortable stay I have had to date. From checking in to checking out they made sure that I had everything I needed, including a special Mayo Clinic room rate (no matter what day of the week it was). It also should be stated that the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Thank you for making a not so fun visit to Jacksonville, FL much better.

Great place to stay if you have appointments at Mayo. It is close and they have a shuttle if you do not wish to drive. Breakfast is good and has options. Service was great and room was clean.

Easy to find, it was behind the mall. Very safe and well-kept lobby and rules.

Pretty good hotel overall, clean and comfortable. Nothing too fancy. Only complaint was the advertised indoor pool but it’s still technically outdoor and was very cold. The workers were very friendly & one guy even blew out the sand out of our vehicle while he was blowing the parking lot

Comfy beds and pillows! Nice and quiet. I've stayed here twice before when going to Mayo Clinic.

Staff was very helpful and cheerful, room clean and well maintained. Walking distance from Publix, cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was below expectations.

Incredibly welcoming hotel. Provided gift bags with water and goodies and provided water, Gatorade and snacks in lobby before heading out to Players Championship. Recently started seeking out Holiday Inns as pets are not allowed, since I am terribly allergic.

The check in went well. Room was clean. But gunshots were heard outside during the evening. Breakfast was the disaster. No reasonable breakfast food. No bagels. No egg products. Only 1 muffin and 2 pieces of bread were remaining. Sausage was there but was dried out. Waffle maker was working but that’s not too healthy. No citrus products. Only koolaid and milk to drink. Breakfast area had a flickering ceiling light that gave us headaches. A door/window was under construction with exposed insulation, wiring, framing, etc. Complete eyesore, and hopefully that was all and there were no hidden health and safety issues we were exposed to. Overall I won’t return.

This hotel is super clean, very comfortable and modern with an excellent staff and a decent breakfast. Road noise and hall noise were just a tad high, but I'd stay here again.

CHECK IN STAFF IN THE AFTERNOON,ALEXANDRIA, WAS EXCELLENT, ROOM WAS CLEAN AND QUIET, ONLY NEGATIVE WAS BATHROOM WAS VERY SMALL SINCE WE HAD A ROOM WITH TWO QUEEN BEDS AND ONLY ONE PERSON COULD GET INTO THE BATHROOM AT ANY ONE TIME. BUT, WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE HOTEL. OH, BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AND NICE SELECTION OF ITEMS.

Good location. Next to Publix and Starbucks. Easy drive to jax beach or shopping mall.
