Everything was great … pet friendly.. location and all

The exterior approach and main entrance were relatively clean and well-maintained; however, the elevator was noticeably dirty and worn, and the foyer outside the elevator felt neglected and uninviting. Housekeeping was consistently attentive—almost excessively so—but fresh towels were always appreciated. Unfortunately, the refrigerator contained food left behind by a previous guest when I checked in, and it was never cleaned out during my stay despite regular room service visits. As a result, I was unable to use the refrigerator. The room itself showed signs of deferred maintenance. The shower had significant rust and limescale buildup, and much of the furniture appeared to be a mix of outdated and heavily worn pieces that detracted from the overall experience. The most disappointing issue, however, was the presence of bugs. Near the end of my stay, I began noticing small bugs on the bed. Initially, I thought it was isolated to the sleeping area, but I later found them in the bathroom and shower as well. For a property operating under the IHG brand, especially at this price point, this was extremely disappointing.

I love this place! So far it’s my favorite!! But I was a lil disappointed that my fridge would not stay on. I didn’t get to eat the food I bought, I’m trying to avoid inflammatory foods & my food was ruined because the fridge kept stopping. But everything else was superb!!! Definitely staying here from now on if I can.

We've stayed here several times over the last few years and quiet hotel in a good area. Has always been very clean with friendly staff.

Its not fair to give bad reviews on minor things like toilet paper, & kleenex. The only thing i had a problem with was the lack of a smart tv. Everything else gets 100. I would definitely stay here again. The entire staff was GREAT, and the hotel was clean and had a great smell throughout.

I loved the outside fireplace. I loved the lake with the ducks and water turkeys. It was very relaxing being able to walk along the lake and having a bench to sit and enjoy the view. It being close to all the shopping is a great plus as well. I chose the wrong food to order.

Whether you’re visiting Jax or, like me, just need a break from your usual routine, this is a great choice. I’ll absolutely be back!

The location was awesome. Located in the middle of a shopping/restaurant area and next to a pond. It was very safe and great to travel alone to. Also the bathroom was outdated with the toilet not flushing properly from age and the bathroom light taking a long time to turn on properly.

We had a great single night stay here on our way through the Jacksonville area! The hotel was very nice, clean, and well maintained. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant, and extra helpful. Our room itself was better than expected, along with the property having a very nice lobby, restaurant, bar, and pool area. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel and nice walking area. Pool is small. Nightlife and beaches are about 25 min drive away so plan accordingly if that’s what you are looking for. Breakfast grits at breakfast were very good!

I’ve stayed at the hotel since they built it. There’s a lot of broken things in the rooms. They are looking tired. The common areas are looking tired. My heater/air conditioner didn’t work very well and the room definitely had a smell of must and mildew.

While waiting for my check-in to be completed, I noticed her interactions with other guests were much warmer and more engaging. She was asking other guests if their rooms were okay and speaking to them in a very friendly manner. When I came down from my room later, I did not receive the same level of acknowledgment or enthusiasm. I will say that one staff member—a woman I encountered near the elevator—was very pleasant and kind. Unfortunately, the night front desk associate was also not very welcoming. Overall, the experience left me feeling uncomfortable and as though certain guests were treated more favorably than others. Because of that, I would likely choose another property for future stays. Caucasian people were treated better.

Wonderful modern gem with all the amenities you could think of!

We stayed with our two dogs. The rooms were clean and we had a view. The staff were amazing! Especially the bartender, who doubled as our waitress. The food was delicious. We were encouraged to take our time; relax - even with our dogs laying beside us at an outside table. We’ll definitely be back and recommend the hotel as well.

My stay was for 2 nights with breakfast included and I had two hotel rooms. Hotel was very clean. I loved the rooms and the big showers. I have no complaints. The pool and hot tub was very enjoyable. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff was all amazing. I will definitely stay there again.

Not sure what has happened to this hotel but it has gone down hill in the last 6 month. The TV channels do not match the guide. Half the channels don’t even tune in. One elevator was working. And the bathroom was not very clean. It’s like the cleaning staff missed the entire shower. It didn’t used be like this. It was a great venue for the money. I hope they get it together

One of the elevators was down but it wasn’t bad at all The only thing was concerned about is that room 402 did not shut (the door) all the way We put the internal lock on because the door never fully shut Room was super clean and nice though

The hotel staff is very rude. When you call to the operator they never answer the phone if you need something you’re on your own the elevators did not work. I am disabled and I had to walk down the stairs from the second floor other people had to walk down from the fifth floor. I was trying for 20 minutes to find out how to get off of my floor because I could not find the stairs and they would not answer the phone finally, another member there said this always happens. You have to take the stairs and they showed us where the stairs were when I went downstairs and told the manager about how rude the staff was the night before she laughed in my face, and he said oh she’s with a third-party you’re all done because he seen I rented through Expedia the bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean, but the staff is horrible and you can get no help not a towel not nothing.

The staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed the layout of what was around the hotel, a micro shopping plaza with festive architecture. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Jacksonville.

We only stayed here to sleep on a long drive but I’m sure happy we chose this hotel. It’s economical, close to the highway, and in a nice area. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I’d definitely come back to stay.

Checkin went well. Room was nice and clean. Dinner at the restaurant was very good too. Would definitely stay there again.

The stay this time wasn’t as good as the first time. Tv issues. At one point it got a little noisy with people and a dog barking. I had an initial issue of not getting my paid breakfast cards but issue got resolved.

This location is nearly fraudulently keeping a prepaid stay of seven days that was never communicated or confirmed as non refundable when we needed to check out two days into the stay. Expedia and IHC DO NOT OPERATE with transparency, or enough ethics to earn our business ever again

Hotel was nice clean and quiet. Definitely the best hotel that I’ve stayed at in Jacksonville will be my go to hotel from now on.

The beds were very comfortable. No complementary breakfast. You had to purchase from the restaurant on site. No housekeeping on duty at night. We had toilet issues which we fixed ourselves. Over all our stay was a ok one

The area was excellent located near restaurants and a lake. The staff made me feel very welcomed at the hotel. My room was spacious enough for my wheelchair and comfortable. The food inside of the hotel was great and the head chef was an excellent host making sure I enjoyed my family enjoyed our food and that we got good service.

The staff was fantastic—very understanding and relatable. I travel with a 'reactive' dog, and it's often a challenge at hotels. However, the Indigo is definitely worth the money. The area is beautiful, and dining and shopping options are within short walking distance.

My Wife has her annual Dance Recital at UNF, not far from the hotel and this has become her favorite place to stay while we are in the area.

My daughter and I had reservations. We we're very excited to stay at this hotel because we were going to shop and stay in the area the next day. We were greeted and treated so horribly by a front desk clerk named Lashun. We weren't sure where to park because along the building was full and we didn't want to get towed from the wrong spot, especially in the middle of the night. He argued with us instead of telling us where we could park. He kept saying over there. The places I pointed out he said I could probably get towed. This guy should not be working at the front desk representing any company! He had a bad attitude. He made sure he told us he had a sales degree. Think he needs to go back to school and take a class on how to treat people.

The evening check-in person, Betty was very snippet and rude during my check-in. I would think that as a hotel employee, she would be polite and accommodating to the customer. She could have at least pretended to value my business! Because of this treatment, it put a negative opinion on the entire experience. The hotel and the room itself was very nice, but I would not stay here again because of the check-in experience.

We really loved the Riverwalk and all of the ducks/geese. The only thing that I would suggest is a better menu for dinner and the pricing is a little high for the food.

My wife had personal items stolen out of our room. She addressed the issue with hotel staff, but staff was dismissive towards her. They said they would come back her on the issue, but never did. Very poor service. Be wary of protecting your belongings if you stay at this hotel. Going forward, we will be traveling with a video camera in our room everywhere we stay.

The location of the hotel is amazing with tons of dining options within walking distance of a short 3 minute drive. The staff was great. The room itself was beautiful, but the fridge did not work (had a bad smell in it) and the toilet did not flush properly. Also wish there was a room option with queen size beds.

We stay at Hotel Indigo every-time we visit our son, a student at UNF. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of great shops and food establishments. There is a lake outside so the view is beautiful.

This location is attached to a nice little shopping area on a lake. Had a lovely view and a bathroom that was large. Clean, generous, comfy bed …I’ll take all of it!

This is my second stay in this hotel and I’ll stay there again. Nice, modern, comfortable beds, very spacious in quiet area with plenty of restaurants nearby. Plus it’s dog friendly. The only minus is cafe closes at 10am which is strange considering it’s not included in the rate, but Starbucks is right next door.

Location was perfect. The area is beautiful. The front desk ladies were very friendly, also the cleaning ladies were too. Lobby is nice. The room was nice and big. No complaints!

The hotel was clean and comfortable until they shut the water off from 8 am till 11 am for a scheduled repair. Not a great idea to plan a repair for a Saturday morning! Never offered a discount or a bottle of water for our troubles...Just a text message.

We stayed at Hotel Indigo and I honestly didn’t want to go home! The breakfast was great and the wings were really good. The bed was super comfy and the shower was huge! My only issue was there was no microwave in the room! However, there is one in the lobby for guests but every room does have a keurig machine so a microwave in the room wasn’t a big deal at all! I will definitely come back and refer this location to others.
