    Room smelt musty and moldy. Property also showed signs of wear and tear. Bathroom was not well cleaned and carpet felt grimy. It was fine for one night stay while in the area for a medical appointment; however, I would not recommend or stay again.

    We booked through Expedia and they stated that parking was free. The person at the front desk said that it was actually $5 a day. This means that if you check it at 10pm on Friday and check out at 8am the next morning (roughly a 10 hour stay) you will be charged for two days of parking. And they did charge us $10 for a 10 hour stay. The desk person was sympathetic and said that it was a new procedure for the management company to make a little bit of money. No special security for your car to justify it either, just paying rent for your car in the lot. The room smelled musty and moldy and was definitely not clean. The carpet smelled like feet. There was visible mildew on the wall by the A/C unit. When we pulled back the covers on the bed, the sheets have visible stains. Visible stains, y'all! We went back downstairs and asked for a different room. The second smelled better and the sheets didn't have any stains. This experience was more like a $45 raunchy Motel 6 experience where you are really worried you will get bedbugs and sleep on sheets that haven't been changed. Instead, we paid $186 to have this experience. We will never used this hotel again and warn away all our friends.

    The hotel was apparently going through some changes. The staff was very nice & helpful. We had to change from our initial room as it was not very clean. All the ice machines were broken, the computers in the business center were also broken. The hot tub was inoperable. Also the laundry was also not working. The breakfast was good & kept well stocked.

    Cleanliness was another major concern. I found two applesauce pouches left in the refrigerator from a previous guest, and there were crumbs/sand in the bed. After accidentally dropping my phone behind the bed near the headboard, I found dust, crumbs, pills, bottle caps, and other debris that clearly had not been cleaned in quite some time. To make matters worse, the bed vibrated during the night due to what seemed to be an issue with the AC fan or motor. There was also a teen sports team staying on the same floor playing loud music, yelling, and running through the hallways until almost 1 AM both nights, making it nearly impossible to rest. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, and noise made this stay far below expectations.

    This hotel is a brand-new facility. It is tucked away, and my navigation led me onto an unusual route. If you're not familiar with the area, you might get confused about the directions. I only stayed one night. With a nice kitchenette and a spacious room, longer stays will also be comfortable and convenient. The hotel is dog-friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the area and bring my four-legged companion.

    If you're expecting anything but a dingy poor maintained hotel then look elsewhere. The walls had patches of missing paint. The carpet in the room was dirty and dusty and stained. The room had a weird dingy smell. Every corner had some sort of dirt. The sheets felt damp and again, strange smell. The receptionist was unwelcoming and the staff had a weird pushy attitude. The stairwell was filled with trash and it stunk horribly. The only decent thing about this place was the breakfast. It's nothing but a cheap stinky motel hiding under the label of a 3 star luxury stay.

    The property was poorly maintained, very dirty, and old. They have a sofa bed that I needed to use, and I asked at the reception, they said that I can find clean bed set in the wardrobe. I found it there, but it was “not fresh” and extremely used. I checked in my second room, it was better, but still old. And this smell in the rooms was terrible, I asked the front office agent to change the room, because one of my rooms smelled like they forgot an egg there, but of course, it was impossible, because they were sold out.

    Check-In was quick and pleasant. Breakfast was lovely, with a decent spread to choose from and staff ensuring food was properly stocked for guests. Room had odor of (old) damp carpet, despite cold A/C temp. and no indication of any sort of cleaning product used. Beds were comfortable with clean linens. No effort by maintenance staff to clean room. Long strands of hair were in the toilet, tub and floor of bathroom. Same thing all over the couch. Toilet seat was loose. Bath floor mat/towel looked and smelled like it hadn’t been laundered. There were obvious splats on the wall next to the bed we cleaned to avoid our kids touching. We were unable to keep beverages/food cool because the mini fridge blew warm air. The ice machine on our floor was out of order and so was the jacuzzi at the pool. For the price per night, it was well below average. Our family of 5 (with kids) stayed one night and that was enough.

The bathroom smelled like pee, smelled like it has never been washed with bleach before. soap scum white green town center mall is closedeverywhere. The breakfast was horrible, barely anything and whatever there was it would run out and was not restocked. I will never be staying here again.

    The room was subpar. The ceiling appeared to have had a hole that was patched up poorly. The TV was in the hallway instead of in the bedroom. The sink faucet was stuck to the right, so the water barely went into the bathroom sink. The room had no soap in the shower (it was empty) and no soap at the sink. Poor all around.

    The first room had a noticeable mold odor, requiring a room change. The second room had dirty walls, what appeared to be bodily fluids on the curtains, and mold in the bathroom. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness standards. Additionally, extra towels were unavailable due to laundry delays. At breakfast, the juice machine was out of order and milk was the only beverage option. Being lactose intolerant, this left me without a drink. I was informed orange juice would be provided, but later told there was none, though beverages were available for purchase. Overall, the experience did not reflect the rate paid for the stay. I would encourage management to address these issues promptly, as they significantly impacted the quality of my visit.

    We stayed for two nights for soccer tournaments at Jacksonville. The rooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable. The blankets on one of the bed were ripped off and the washer and dryer machines at the hotel are very old and do not do their job. We had to wash soccer uniforms and the washer does not spin so the soccer uniforms were very soak when the washing cycle ended. The dryer machine also did not work, a 30 minute cycle and the clothe came out all wet.

    We got a very positive impression after staying at the hotel earlier in Baton Rough, so decided to stay with SpringHill again. The suite room is perfect for family travel accommodation, it is very relaxed layout in the suite. The breakfast is perticularly great and the hotel public area as well as room are very clean and maintained well.

    The breakfast was not so good sausage was over cooked. Bananas we're all green not even ripe . As far as housekeeping they never change our bedding cleaning was every other day .     Room was clean. Carpet was visibly stained. There was a tear in a fitter sheet. AC was unplugged and took effort to plug it in under the unit as I recently had bilateral Grade 2 MCL tears. The batteries to the tv’s remote control were dead. I went down to the lobby to get another control since there was only one person on duty. The hotel’s tv system is super slow. My 75 year old father fell asleep while trying to access a show to watch on YouTube. The breakfast was unremarkable. It would be nice to have real, cooked eggs and grilled sausages not boiled ones. Family wide preference.

    The staff was five stars and the breakfast was just right - quick and delicious. The only downside was that the room smelled very strongly of mildew or mold when you entered the room but it disappeared once you were in the room for awhile. Beds were not very soft but the bedding was clean. The shower was great. Location was good with lots of restaurants nearby.

    Hotel was slightly dingy, not as clean or kept up as other Springhill. Couch in room had stains, mattress for pull out had very bad stains (gross) and no sheets or blanket (had to go to front desk). King mattress was terrible! My first bad mattress complaint ever at a Marriott property. My husband and I sank into the middle and neither slept well.

    Hotel over-sold the room we had selected, so we had to accept a downgrade. Hotel photos online are misleading... this hotel is much older and not as clean as photos indicate. Our room was nothing like the photos online - stains on furniture, stains on floor, dirty corners in the shower, etc. Everything in the hotel was older and dirtier than what appears on the photos. I would not stay here again... other nearby hotels are nicer.

    The hotel staff was very friendly, but don’t be fooled by the room photos of this property, this hotel is old and remodeled. The remodel is nice, but it is an older property, has a damp smell and the furniture is old and very used. Booked our stay for a family of five, a room with two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The sofa sleeper was old and dirty, we ended up sleeping in the two beds. Also, for a family of five we were given only two bath towels and only two wash clothes. We were told they were all out of wash clothes.

    I wasn't thrilled with this visit this time as I've stayed at the property about a year ago during Hurricane Helene. I had 3 rooms, 2 of which had not been cleaned prior to me checking in. It looked as though housekeeping was in the middle of cleaning and stopped in one room and the other room had some type of odor near the couch. It had visible stains all over it. The front desk clerk changed the 2 rooms without any problems but the quality of the rooms were no better. The carpet needs to be changed out and there needs to be some ventilation changed or added because the rooms have a wet feel to them and smell. For the value of money spent, the stay was fair.

    Our experience at this property was everything and more than we expected. From the very moment that we checked in until we checked out! The staff was AMAZING! Friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful with whatever we needed. The breakfast buffet was good, wish there was a little more options but nonetheless good! The ladies helping and refilling the breakfast food were very nice and fast in refilling everything. We will be coming back to this location! 10/10

    The staff were friendly and helpful. The place had a fish smell and my room they assigned had a stong pee odor. The sofa had a large stain on it. The frobt desk didnt not give any trouble with changing rooms. The one night stay was durable.

    Run down motel in a decent part of the city for $170. Air conditioner didn't work, no more rooms to switch to. Breakfast lady didn't show up to work the next morning so there was very limited Breakfast.

    The lobby area had water damage on the ceiling and it looked like it was going to collapse. My husband spotted a huge roach climbing up the wall behind me at breakfast (I couldn’t look). Would have rather spent my money elsewhere.

    The property is in a great location. It's near restaurants and shopping. I stayed there because I was having eye surgery and the hotel is near my appointment. I had an emergency and needed to check in early and Nicole was very accommodating. She took my medical condition into consideration and checked me in early so that I could recover from my procedure. She offered to assist me with any necessities. She was very professional, accommodating, empathetic and showed genuine concern for my situation. I greatly appreciated her kindness and willingness to assist me. Her customer service skills are impeccable and she's great at assessing the customers need and providing the assistance that is needed. The hotel was pretty clean it just has a distinct smell and the sofa bed in the room should be replaced because its old and very uncomfortable to sit on. Only one elevator was operational. The breakfast was sufficient and plentiful. The staff was very polite and willing to assist.

    The ceiling paint was torn out and the smell in the room was awful. Couldn't stay for a night and told the staff ti cancel it. The person who was at the front desk told me to cancel throughout the app. They didn't refund even if i left at the same day because i couldn't stand the smell in the room . I wouldn't recommend it.

    You get the feeling that the employees here are really fighting losing battle with a property that badly needs renovated. The list of needed repairs and refurbishments at this Jacksonville Marriott location is very long. Some of the highlights are as follows. There are only two elevators at this location and one was broken for the entire length of our 3-day stay. The one working elevator would constantly get stuck on floor 2. Taking the stairs was then needed many times and sadly the stairwells were very dirty, Smelly and in disrepair. I have stayed at many spring Hill suites over the years and sadly this is the first time we have had this kind of experience at One of their locations. The toilet ran constantly and the carpet and couch were filthy in our room. The air conditioning was noisy and obviously needed repair. The hotel was sold out so we knew there was no reason to ask for another room as we overheard somebody else request a different room earlier and was denied. The staff was friendly and there is only so much I know they can do with such a badly overdue for renovation hotel. On the bright side, the breakfast was always good, well stocked and well prepared. I know they're better Springhill suites in Jacksonville as we have stayed in other locations. Will we now know to avoid this one until it gets badly needed renovations.

    Manager was rude. Checkin staff were perfunctory and haughty. Bathroom sink drain was broken and disconnected from plumbing pipes - they gave us a bucket to put under the sink to capture the water and offered to comp the rooms $25 service fee (since when did one pay for this charge?). Hotel was full so no other rooms. We ended up getting a refund and drove 40 miles at 9pm to the best next thing we could find (due to Spring break) after 7hours of driving. At best a dump.

    The room smells really bad and there were no towels in our room to take a shower. When I went to the front desk to ask for tiles, they only had one available in the entire hotel. Another lady behind me said that she had to take a shower and use a hand towel to dry off.

    Apparently I clicked "handicap" room by mistake. The clerk didn't ask me if it was correct or not. The handicap room shower area was rusty and scary looking. I took a pic and showed the clerk, he changed my room not handicapped, Thank you. The sofa cushions need to be replaced, I sank down when I sat there to eat. The showers need to be resurfaced; the tiling was clean , but tub and shower curtain need to be replaced. Bed was fine.

    It was fabulous. Clean rooms, all necessary toiletries and towels available. Continental breakfast was superb and the staff at check in and checkout were friendly and answered all our questions. Easy access off the highway. A great experience even my son enjoyed the stay. Will use again!

    I don't understand how this hotel has such good reviews. The first room had poop chips in the toilet. The second room had stains on the carpet and a bad smell came out of the bathroom. It says king size bed but it was a queen size. Definitely choose another hotel. dirty hotel.
