The room need to be upgraded. The tub was raggedy, the bed was raggedy. The drapes or curtains were raggedy. Even the walls were raggedy, like the material that is on the wall was coming off.

There were very suspicious-looking people wandering around the property and in the surrounding area, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Some appeared to be homeless individuals hanging around the premises. When we entered our room, we were immediately hit with a very strong smell of unpleasant odors. The carpet was filthy, old, and smelled terrible. The room itself was not properly cleaned, with hair and dirt visible in multiple areas. The bed also did not feel clean. Overall, the hotel was in poor condition, the cleanliness was unacceptable, and the atmosphere was unpleasant. I would not recommend staying here and will not be returning. Also, the staff was never there

On the positive side there was hot water and the fridge microwave and AC worked. But the place was pretty beat up and infested with roaches. But it was cheap and not crowded. But I still think they should at least seal all the holes in exterminate the roaches

I saw "roaches" in the room. This diminished my experience. Further, there were a lot of homeless people staying on the property. I did not feel safe.

You get what you pay for, so I wasn’t surprised…but I saw a few roaches, and that’s a problem. The tub drains extremely slow, the hot and cold valves are on opposite sides, bigger bath towels would be nice. It’s very dated, and honestly just needs to be remodeled.

Check-in was through a 2 inch hole in an outside drive-through window 50 feet from a highway no barricade to prevent your kids from running into traffic or stopping traffic from running into your kids. Clerk refused to open the lobby so I can check in indoors. When I complained, he refused to contact the manager or allow me to contact the manager. Even front desk clerk said, “I wouldn’t stay here.“ the room was one of the most disgusting I’ve ever seen in my life. Room smelled bad tub was rusty. The floors were grimy. Worst hotel stay ever. Do not reserve a room here.

All of the above the staff was very rude when we found Blood on the sheets and would not move us to a different room the none of the receptacles worked in the room air condition didn't even work that's how I found the blood on the sheets because we pulled the comforter back and seeing blood we have I have pictures the receptacle shorted out and burned my phone up and they basically told me oh well it was very rude

I was unable to take a bath throughout my entire stay because the bathtub was in such a disgusting state that if you placed your feet inside, they would likely be infested with germs or pests. When asked to switch rooms after looking at the bathroom and I had a baby with me, was told no it's against the policy. Fortunately, I had relatives living in the same town who could provide me with other options for bathing.

The front office clerk was extremely rude and slow upon check in. The room was gross and unkempt. Extremely thin walls where I could hear everything going on in each room adjacent to mine. Upon checkout there was a substantial line. I had gotten there 40 minutes prior to the checkout deadline. There was only one clerk working, while another was behind the counter, seemingly doing nothing. When I finally got up to checkout they tried to say I missed the deadline. It was 8 minutes prior to the deadline. Would definitely steer people away from this place.

there are no shopping options - no restaurants nearby, not even a coffeemaker in the rooms. The light bulbs blinked, fridge was warm, the front window (bulletproof glass) was covered in signs - no this no that. the desk staffer (young woman) made me wait outside ten minutes despite driving 4 hours to get there: no restroom facilities. She sat there & stared at me til 3 pm. I left without even trying to get my money back b/c the door had no deadbolt lock & no room with a lock was available. A real flophouse.

It was Dirty and disgusting had roaches and rats paid through hotels.com and was charged more the next morning because THEY put me in the wrong room.

I honestly didn’t know that motels like this existed in America. All of the nice places were booked up for MNF so I went with this place. I expected it to be a little run down but not awful. I was surprised. It was so bad it was kind of funny. They can keep my $50. They need it more than me. If I had a sleeping bag I would have slept in the woods before I climbed into that bed. I just drove the three hours home after the game. Overall I’m glad I did it bc the story alone is worth it. The girl in the office behind the bullet proof plastic was pretty cool.

We spent our last and needed somewhere to sleep for the night. I would rather sleep in our vehicle. The smell of poo in the carpets was terrible. Roaches. Towels were off white. Sink water kept coming back up from drain filling the sink with hair. Nasty. I understand if you need a place to go just know what you’re getting into.

They have a sign for allowing Service Animals but would not allow my partner his Emotional Support Animal and he has seizures. They lied and said if we checked out before 11am we would get our money back. Also online the room went for $45 a night but when I went to the window at 11 pm to get the room they charged me $75.

Everything looks antique. Pool was inaccessible. It was closed. Tub was nasty. Carpet smelled. The white sheets and pillows looked off-white like they were never bleached. It’s at bad location where we felt unsafe cause the lobby was kept locked where guests have to check in from outside the window.

Don’t go here at all it was the worst experience in my life at a hotel.

This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Lots of people hanging around the property. Check in was quick and easy though. My sheets had multiple stains on them along with dirt marks, looks like they haven't been changed in a while just re made up after each person checks out. Multiple holes in the walls and bathroom. The a/c did work and there was hot water. Cigarette burn marks everywhere. The door was so flimsy that it hung at the bottom when we tried to open it and the door almost broke off the hinge, just a very unclean and sketchy place, but for the money if you need hot water and a place to sit in the a/c it has that to offer at least.

Great for the price

Well, for starters when I arrived for check in the lobby was closed/locked. You could only check in through a tiny mail slot at the front window next to a busy highway... so could not hear a word the clerk was saying. He then handed me a piece of paper needing some information. So i had to walk back to my vehicle cause the check in lane was blocked and he handed me a form to fill out. I had to do so on a rickety podium outiside the windown while homeless people and prostitutes were badgering me. Then only worse from there. I asked for a ground floor unit only to be told those were smoking units. Who still allows smoking in a hotel room?! So, had to lug all my tools upstairs, and the room reaked of smoke!! Then, when I wanted to go to bed, there were feather pillows on the bed. I am allergic, but they had no alternative pillows... so I slept without pillows for two nights. And this is just the tip of the iceberg for me stay there!

I was so excited to swim in their year round open pool as stated on the website only to find it wasn't open after all and looked like it hasn't been for awhile ☹️ could use a pilow upgrade, really flat. I give it 6 stars.

It did the job for a place to put our head. Definitely not the cleanest. It would go a long way to use a crevice tool around the edges of the floor. There were actual dr*gs on the carpet, so there’s that…hmm what else, I wouldn’t stay again but if you’re in a pinch it’ll do.

This hotel is a good place to stay when you just want a place to base out of while you explore Jacksonville. Basic rooms as a fair price, my room even had a bottle opener mounted on the wall which was a cool touch. San Marco is a walkable neighborhood with several coffee shops and restraunts Plus there is a convience store a block away and a Publix grocery store a few blocks away. I am pleased with my stay here after I got stuck in town for two extra days.

Good place to stay at a good price when you just want a spot to sleep and grab a shower while you are in Jacksonville. Great walkable neighborhood, Publix grocery store a five minute walk away and a large convience store a two minute walk away. So definitely a solid choice at a good price.

The second we entered the room, I immediately found an alternative hotel to stay at. Room was NASTY - smelled of urine, bedding was crunchy, liquid dripping down wall, paint peeling off floor and walls.

The price was good but there where cockroach and the place wasent clean enough , one wall had a hole in it too. If you want something cheap that’s a cheap place , other than that everything eles was fine.

If you are limited on money, it is a roof of your head and a place to lay but id recommend just going across the street for cleaner and more friendly service (owned by same people)
