It's a beautiful property. I stay here every year for the Ga Elks/Auxiliary Convention. I'm a HUGE fan of the Breakfast here and the staff is always pleasant!!

Our stay was great the staff was wonderful and so friendly and always greeted everyone and it was so convent it was close to every where we need to go

Could be a challenge for some to make it to the beach over the path over the sand Dunes. Bike rentals is there next to hotel. Newer properties nearby but more expensive. Beach is pretty much the same all along the beach at all the hotels. Nice views of beach.

Breakfast was wonderful and the view of the parking lot maybe not so much...

It was clean and the staff was so nice. And the beach was right in front. The walkway to the beach had a mound of sand on top of it so it was a struggle to get over it to the beach. They need to clear out the sand on the wooden walkway.

The intake staff was amazing. Greeted me in a way I felt like he was a long lost friend. The only thing I didn't like was my stay was not long enough

Location, staff, breakfast The boardwalk to the beach area was covered in sand making it difficult and dangerous to walk over. Trashy people staying on lower level.

The beds were absolutely amazing—so comfortable it felt like your body just melted into them. This was honestly the best sleep I’ve gotten in a while. I wanted to take the pillows home with me! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The only area that could use improvement is the walkway to the beach. The sand was actually higher than the rails in some places, which made it difficult to walk through—especially with a bad knee. It seems like it could be a challenge for others as well, and I’m not sure how someone with mobility issues or in a wheelchair would access the beach. It feels like there should be a better way to keep that path clear. Aside from that, the weather was beautiful, and it turned out to be the perfect girls’ getaway weekend. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Any time we asked staff for assistance, they were all very helpful. The main area for improvement would be the quality of the breakfast, but it's not par for most hotel breakfast buffets. Also, if they could clear the path from the hotel to the beach (the deck/walkway was partially buried under a dune) that would be great to make it easier to actually pull a beach cart out there carrying supplies. Lastly, I don't know if they were sold out, but we were only able to book an oceanview room with 2 double beds. It would be nice for couples to have a king bed to sleep in.

The room was adequate and clean. Rather outdated but had everything you need. The location was good and being beach front was great. Breakfast was good, with many options to choose from. The negative of this place was the air conditioning unit in the room was EXTREMELY noisy-it would run off and on-when it was on, forget about any conversation with anyone else in the room. It also was a seesaw with a the volume control being raised and lowered to hear the television.

This trip was short, but my family enjoyed everything. The best was everything is pretty much within in walking and/or biking distance.

We recently stayed at this Days Inn for a short beach get away. We had a 2nd floor, double queen suite with an ocean view. The value for the money was amazing. Our view was great(lovely private balcony), the breakfast bar was not huge, but had a great variety. We had one small issue with plumbing that was remedied immediately. All staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. There are two pools, which were very well kept. The beach is a 5 minute walk across the property. The walking distance to the Main Street area with shops was less than 10 minutes. This hotel is not brand new, but I'll definitely stay here on my next trip to Jekyll Island.

The rooms are dated. They are clean, but could be cleaner. The shower head needs cleaning and around the windows. The beds were too small for two adults.

Although the room was clean, it was very old and dated. It felt like I was living in the 1970s again. Bathroom in the king room only had a tub and toilet. The sink was in the room. The ac blown straight onto the bed causing me to have a stiff neck. Luggage holders were rusty. Beach access was awful. Huge pile of sand on top of the walkway. I mean around 5 feet or more. Dangerous to walk over to get to the beach. Definitely an accident fixing to happen. For the price, it really could've been much better.

Our family loves to visit this property. It is well maintained, the pools are clean and not freezing, and the breakfast is very good. My only suggestion for improvement is there were a lot of ants outside on the grounds and around the pool.

The staff was wonderful from check-in to check out. Breakfast was nice with a wide variety of fresh food and good coffee. We enjoyed the pool and the fact that the ocean was only a short walk away.

Rooms were updated and very clean. Microwave and refrigerator very handy for takeout and snacks. Great beach front location and easy walk to restaurants and small market. Continental breakfast was good variety and well maintained and clean dining area. 2 nice pools that were well maintained and towels provided. Unexpected bonus, elevator for easy check in with luggage to second floor rooms.

Stay was for business. Great stay close to shopping area.

I enjoyed my stay as usual, I will say this last time they have changed the steps down to the beach, the last step going down is super steep I did hit the sand the wrong way and dislocated my knee going down. I do suggest you be careful there are no railings to hold onto going down those steps onto the sand. I would suggest railing as this is a safety hazard.

We loved our stay at Days Inn Jekyll Island. The property is clean and very safe feeling. It's right on the ocean, so very convenient for sunrise. Wonderful breakfast is served on the second floor with huge windows so you can enjoy watching the ocean. Beachside Bike Rentals shares a parking lot so that was super convenient as well. The hotel is located very close to the Beach Village area of the island (shopping and restaurants) and the larger, popular beaches. The pools are well maintained. Staff was friendly! Our room was clean. Highly recommend.

the only plus for this hotel was the location next to the beach. Breakfast was a crap shoot never in the 4 morning we stayed there was the breakfast completely ready at 6 am. the path to the beach was life threatening to say the least going down to the beach the steps just stop with no railing to hold to and no one gave us any warning of this hazzard. Our room was clean but the A/C blew right at my head all the time, so I had to sleep at the bottom of the bed with my feet at the head. In the morning the sprinkler system gave my car an unnecessary washing. I don't know when this place was last remodeled but must have been a long time ago. No I will never stay ay this place AGAIN/.

Hot tub was great, pools were good, but the beach access this property has was the best part! The room was decent, staff was super nice. A little pricey for what you get, but again the beachfront property is amazing!!

The hotel is in a wonderful location, on the beach and short drive to everything the island has to offer. The hotel is a little dated, but the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly staff, along with the beautiful pool and jacuzzi were great! My wife and I will definitely be back.

The property sits right on the beach and has two lovely pools, hot tub and kiddie pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking and access to everything on Jekyll island was convenient. There is an inexpensive bike rental company right on site.

We travel to Jekyll Island every April for a week. We have stayed at Days Inn many times. There are many amenities that we enjoy. Hot tub is nice. Breakfast is amazing. I noticed the kitchen had a health food score of 100 A. And the food was fresh with a large variety offered. The beach is easily accessible and clean. We will definitely be going back.

The property is clean and great beach access but unfortunately that’s all it has going for it. The property is OLD and in need of renovation. Smells stale. Tiny rooms, sink next to bed. Loud air conditioner. Extremely thin walls. I’m a heavy sleeper and was awaken several time due to noise. No elevator, not a problem for us but an elderly couple checked in at the same time and were given 2nd floor accommodations. When they mentioned they had requested 1st floor, the clerk simply said, “they gave you second.” ???? No attempt at trying to help them. Breakfast was completely disorganized with long lines. Will not stay here again.

Rooms need to be updated

They require a $25 deposit for booking through hotels.com. Not a big deal, however, the deposit is supposed to be returned upon checkout. This is not the case and they are very slow to return the deposit. Also, the room we stayed in had some minor flaws that were an eyesore regarding upkeep of the room. Not a deal breaker but not worth the hassle either.

I loved everything about the Days Inn Jekyll Island… all of the staff were so welcoming & loving! The rooms are very large & were so clean…the breakfast was wonderful.. like being at a lovely restaurant.. so many choices of fresh foods… the pools & jacuzzi were crystal clear… I want to come back soon… I rented a bike from their bike rental place & it was less than $10 per day for a week’s stay!! The beach access is convenient, this whole experience exceeded my expectations!!!

First time staying here and it was excellent. Our room was very clean, the breakfast was clean and well stocked. The front desk customer service was honestly amazing. I have not received such good service in a long, long time. It stood out. My husband and I have already agreed that we will be back and book here again. Also, they have pool toys for kiddos to use at the pool. A nice touch!

So this hotel has 9.0 rating for some reason, and yes location staff and how clean a room is 10. But everything else is 5.0 including breakfast, room condition and design , sounds coming from neighboring rooms and street all those things are 5.0

We loved this hotel. Right on the beach with pools and hot tub. They have a pickleball court, cornhole. There is a fun lobby with checkers, seats , an aquarium. The daily breakfast was fantastic with friendly staff and it looked over the ocean. We had a suite which we liked. We had a living room which was Oceanside. The room had a kitchen(no oven) and our bed was comfortable. We would love to come back!

Weather prevented us from full use of the property. Beach was easily assessable, pools and hot tub appear to be in good condition. Rooms are small and outdated but are acceptable for the value of the stay. Beds were comfortable

Unfortunately my trip was cut short due the death of a close family friend. I was disappointed that the only they had was broken down but they had no problem moving us to a bottom floor room. I would definitely return!

Great location, direct access to beach, and short walk to town center for shoppingand food. Older property, need general refreshment. Check in was so slow and yhey asking for email and home address, etc. Breakfast was great, hot and cold options, sitting are over look the sand dunes and beaches.

Breakfast was a feast and ran from 6 to 10 am daily. The beds were extremely comfortable with 3 different pillows to choose from. Even though it was Spring break week, the property was very clean, well maintained and very quiet at night. The weather was too cool for the pool or even the hot tub for me but the fire pit was nice touch.

Close to restaurants, beach. Must have been kids sporting events because very loud outside the room early am.

The beach was difficult to get to. The sand was deep and hard to walk on. Breakfast was up stairs and the elevator was broken . I’m am partially handicapped and had to use the stairs which was difficult.

We are very pleased in our short stay here, the heated pool and quietness of the surroundings made our staycation relaxing and fun. Many thanks to the excellent staff, they are very helpful and friendly especially to Ms. Joy, who’s very attentive of our needs and hospitable. We are definitely going back here and we highly recommend this hotel.

We travel to Jekyll Island every year for a gymnastics competition and this is our favorite hotel to stay at. The breakfast is amazing! I would come for just the breakfast. So many options, both hot and cold. The room smells clean and sanitized when you walk in. They provided clean towels without asking. The price just tops it off. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The woman in front desk started the stay so pleasant. The room was clean. Can't really see ocean from 1floor Oceanside cause of the dunes so if you want the view go 2nd floor. Lots to do right at hotel 2 pills, hot tub, pickleball court. Really nice boardwalk to the ocean beach and I was able to see the ocean well for it. They even had a eyeglass repair kit at the front desk to purchase which really saved me drive home. The same woman that checked me in again offered assistance if I needed it to fix the glasses, really kind and so wonderful to experience at this time in the world. I wish I had her name she was wonderful⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The check in process was seamless and our room was just what we expected! All the staff was exceptionally nice and the breakfast was much more than a normal free continental breakfast!

Nice property and the included breakfast was nice! Only thing was we booked a room for 4 adults (girls trip) and the beds were full instead of queens. But that was my fault for not reading bed descriptions. I just assumed for 4 adults would be at least 2 queens. Was little tight. But overall a great stay!

The hotel itself is probably worth a 3.5 star review but when the staff and their customer service is 5 plus stars it overshadows everything else. Thank you Ramon for an incredible stay! I hope you get a raise and the young woman training this week is off to a great start, too! :)

Breakfast is 6-10am that’s great time. East beach access. Two pools and a hot tub. Everything was nice and pretty. The staff was excellent.

Did not care for the rule and all of the signs advising no take away. Sometimes we like to bring our food back to our room to dine or sit outdoors. Most Continental buffets allow this.

The room had the smell mucky & old smelling like it needed windows opened to air out while it was being cleaned .

We booked an ocean view room but the hotel put us in a room with no view. Said we went through a 3 rd party and they couldn’t honor that. Room was extremely out dated. Staff was friendly. That was about the only redeeming quality of the hotel. The island was beautiful. We will return but stay at a better location.

The breakfast menus said continental - wasn’t expecting anything special- somehow this breakfast was the best breakfast. I don’t eat sausage - I ate 5 pieces. My daughter doesn’t eat eggs- she went back for seconds. Everything in this breakfast was mouthwatering ! The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly! I think her name was Leslie when we checked in was really sweet and helpful- I would definitely recommend this hotel !!

We stayed 5 days. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great Location on the beach with a nice pool and hot tub. The included breakfast has a lot of options and changed slightly each days. The ladies who run it keep it well stocked and spotless. NOTE: The local water does not taste good (not the hotel's fault). Brind bottled water to drink!

This is an oceanfront hotel that dates back to the 1960s. It isn't a modern resort and that is the charm of it to me. It is updated and crisp but my wife and I always talk about staying at "The Corsair" when we go to Jekyll. The Holiday Inn on the island is almost its twin (must have been built at the same time) but the Corsair is our favorite.

The photos online do not reflect the hotel. What seems to be a photo of a balcony is two chairs in the walkway between rooms. There is no closet, just a clothes rack in the room. The bathroom sink is in the room itself, so no privacy. The elevator was not working, so we had to lug our luggage up the stairs and with 2 people over 70 with bad backs, this was not fun.

A little outdated but was super clean. Hot tub was nice. Breakfast was good and so was the staff. Front desk was super nice at check in and check out. Only had an issue when I needed something and that particular lady wasnt the friendlist.

Very clean. Directly facing beach and so clean! Refurbished old hotel, but simple and nice. Lots of areas for kids to run outside.

The breakfast was pretty good. The elevator was not working, and some guests had to go out for breakfast as the dining was on the second floor. Overall, very little has been spent to keep the rooms in good shape. It has been many years since a refresh. The plumbing was poor and the room needed painting. There are too many negatives to list. The positives were a friendly staff and decent breakfast.

Our 2-bedroom suite was perfect for our weekend stay! It was very spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, the pools and hot tubs were great, and the staff was helpful when we needed anything. It was also the perfect location in relation to our soccer tournament which was about a mile down the road and had good restaurants within walking distance. We will stay there again if we come back!

The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good, enjoyed the pancakes (now I’m asking for a pancake maker for Christmas lol)! The access to the beach was perfect and had an amazing view! Will definitely stay here again. Thank you at all the amazing staff!

The walkways or outside sidewalks are slippery when wet and need more abrasive materials painted in to avoid accidents.

Loved the location on beautiful Jekyll Island with boardwalk to the beach over the dunes. There are 2 large pools that we took full advantage of. Also had a nice hot breakfast in a dining room with glass all around to enjoy the ocean view.

The location of this hotel is everything, but it’s definitely lacking in a couple things. First of all, the staff was more than accommodating and helpful when we needed things. Couldn’t ask for better. But on our first night, we did find a huge roach in the living area. While it was the only one we found in our room, they were EVERYWHERE out by the ice machine, which is outside. Also the boardwalk down to the beach is under repair and just cuts off about 3/4 of the way down which seems unsafe, especially if you have young kids. The pool areas were nice and clean and open late which was amazing and the breakfast was fantastic!

Everything about my family’s stay here was awesome. From the family friendly atmosphere to the hot tub and convenient beach access. Having two pools was amazing with one being more kid friendly and the other larger one for more advanced swimmers. Will definitely be staying here again.

Our stay was good, clean room,clean lobby, grounds were maintained. I did get an ocean view balcony room , i will say i wouldnt do that again as your balcony is an open walkway for all guests so you do not have privacy. It it an older hotel but well groomed and i would stay again but in a base room . We enjoyed the 2 nice pools and the hot tub was fantastic. Also loved that the beach had an entrance from the hotel, although being reconstructed right now, it will be lovely wwhen complete. Also they had par for our rv although limited space it was in the front entrance on the side of entrance. We were grateful to have rv parking.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed on the 1st floor suite. Very spacious! Has a kitchen with a small fridge, microwave, toaster, small.coffee maker, pots and pans, plates, eatery, dish clothes, dish soap, and a 2 eye stove. Plenty of cabinet space. 1 large bathroom. Living area down the hall with couch, tv, and a small dining table. It has a front door and even a back door to go directly out to the pools and beach. Breakfast was pretty good. A different meat everyday, eggs, pancake maker, and potatoes. Of course they had cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt , etc. Housekeeping everyday. Theu supplied beach towels. Has a safe in the room as well. It's not a fancy hotel. The furniture is kinda worn out, that is the only con I have. It was clean, beds are comfortable, and economical. We loved are stay and will be coming back. Not to mention staff was awesome! They even send text so.you can ask questions to them directly if needed.

R00m was good. Wanted to sit outside and look at the ocean but the sand dunes were to high.

I enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean, inside. The elevator was beyond small but we appreciate having one available. Jocelyn at the front desk desk was awesome. Some of the other staff was stand-offish. The breakfast was really good for it to be free. Beach proximity and privacy is excellent, Beach Access is messy when it rains though. Dining options and shopping nearby were pretty abundant. The only real drawback was paying a toll daily to return to the island.

Free breakfast was good and it's right on the beach! We enjoyed 2 days here.

Had an ocean side, double queen suite, the air conditioning systems on both the front and the back of the room would freeze you out as they blew directly onto one of the queen beds, and directly onto the sofa in the other room. Was most uncomfortable to try and sleep When the AC units would cut on, as they were also noisy.

the staff upfront was friendly, not a modern hotel but staff is professional, warm and kind. I had a huge room and view was great lots of amenities in room hope to revisit if i can get a good rare

The check in staff were friendly and helpful. The property is large, well maintained, 2 pools, free delicious breakfast, just a short walk to the beach, second floor room facing the ocean, free parking, the staff held a Labor Day cook out which was delicious and fun. Room was basic but comfortable. We will return!

My wife and I really enjoyed the ocean side view it was so beautiful morning and night. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend this hotel.

Very uncomfortable roll away bed!!!!

It was quiet and fine. We’d stay there again. You couldn’t use the microwave and tv with the lights on in our room at the same time without the electric going off but they fixed it fast. Close to the beach. Fun pools. It was a good stay.

I love staying here. The breakfast if fantastic. It’s in a large second floor area that looks out at the ocean! Yes. The ocean is only a few steps away.

Friendly Staff

The only problem we experienced was the hotel staff in the mornings would keep coming in our room asking to clean when we said no the first time and also had the do not disturb sign on the door. They didnt knock just opened our door 3 or 4 times .

It is within walking distance of the beach. Really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Although an older hotel, it has many recent updates. There are 2 nice pools and it is on the beach (walkway to beach provided). The included breakfast was ok! I am just upset that my early check in should have been included and I was charged $20.

Door had rubber strip missing. Bugs in room. No breakfast even though you pay $300 a night for room. Couch bed was used and not cleaned

Days Inn is "old school" which is perfect for the beach. Pool was great, rooms clean, staff helpful. Only suggestion I would make is to install "webbing" on the beach access walkway. Sand is brutally hot. Webbing would be a plus.Thank you for a very nice stay!

Great breakfasts! Longest serving time of any other hotel. Beds were super comfortable. The air conditioning unit Is in front of 1 person’s face, but other than that great! Also fast service.

We had a ocean front room on second floor which I'm so glad I picked. I sat outside every morning watching the sunrise. So peaceful and gorgeous.

Will not stay here again! Walked into a musty mold smelling room. Mold stained pillow. No remote control. Had to request one twice. Maintenace worker wallked right into room. Sink is located in the bedroom and not the bathroom. Boardwalk to beach is messed up, covered in sand, and rails missing. Breakfast area not family friendly. Witnessed workers tell a dad he needed to go back in line and fix 1 plate at a time for his small kids; however they had no problem with someone else sracking their plate high.

Location is great. Last hotel on the beach so it was not crowded at all. Pools are nice size, but furniture is very worn. We had a suite which was quite large. Comfortable beds. Room was quiet even though hotel was very crowded. Bedroom facing parking lot, kitchen and bath in center and living room facing the beach dunes. Kitchen was supplied with a set of silverware, one steak knife, a plastic spatula and plastic spoon, set of 3 plates, cups and bowls and few cups and glasses, toaster, small coffee pot, stovetop and microwave. We had 2 servings of coffee when we arrived and it was never replenished. Glad I brought my own. Hotel is older, but clean. Could use some updates. Breakfast was decent and was rotated with type of meat and eggs. They had bacon some days, smoked sausage or regular sausage on others, scrambled eggs or omelette, pancakes, fruit, cereal and yogurt. Good place for families. Budget friendly. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Two chairs and small table in patio area facing dunes.

The location was fantastic, easy access to the beach and within walking distance to the shops. There was a bike rental right beside the hotel. The pools were very clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was good with meat and egg options that changed daily, so if you are staying multiple days, you do not have to eat the same thing everyday. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

The service and employees are awesome excellent service few things I did not like roaches in the room,the people downstairs grilling too close my room stank like charcoal smoke I understand it was a Holliday but grills shall be allowed at some reasonable distance of the building and also people smoking in the pool I don't know how much of this can be control by management and my intention is not to talk the place down but for future guests if you visit on a 4th of July expect people grilling and celebrating which by all means is ok but if you are not ok with this book on another dates

Loved it !!

Wonderful location with easy access to the beach and shopping. The kitchenette was just what we needed when we didn’t eat out. Beds were comfy and it was nice at night, so we slept great. It’s a little worn down, but that’s to be expected from a long-standing hotel right on the beach. We plan on making the Days Inn our go-to stay on Jekyll Island.

Our stay on Jekyll island was very pleasant. Days Inn was just what we needed. A simple family friendly place to stay. The hotel offers two pools and direct access to the beach so you never miss out on the beautiful sunshine. Would gladly stay here again!

Oceanfront is a misleading. It’s on the ocean side but you can only see it from a long distance. The pictures appear that you have a balcony but it is really 2 chairs in the passage way so there is no relaxation. Plus we were put next to the stairs so people were passing our room constantly. The inside was ok, but no closet. Maybe I just have a higher expectation in a beachfront hotel.

Late check-in, dirty room, hair in the bathroom, smoking EVERYWHERE! Walkway to the beach was covered with inches of sand and very unsafe.
