Upon check in at midnight, was given the room key to a third-floor room. Elevator was not working, had to walk to the end of the hallway to climb two flights of stairs to then walk back to center of hallway, as our room was near the elevator. My husband wears a knee brace as he is scheduled for surgery next month for a knee replacement. He was in pain duing the walk to the room.

The rooms were outdated, my bathroom had a smell of a covered up mold maybe, the rooms were either too cold or too moist if I turned it down. My AC unit was broken on the 2nd floor. Staff was very nice, very nice especially the breakfast lady, always singing and happy. The breakfast was good and always full and available. The pool had late hours which I loved since our days were busy. I’d stay there again in a different room.

Went to leave room on 3rd floor to three random men in hallway pounding on doors. 2 men on one end then one man on other end saying 313? After pounding on another door. The man who was pounding on the doors had a 6/8inch knife strapped to his belt as we are just trying to exit our room to take our 13 yr old son to the pool the night before his surgery. Could have possibly been nothing but somewhere we don’t know in a place we aren’t familiar with nor know these men it was a bitttt much!! The breakfast was ok and thankfully made it through he night to it the pool and spa were decent. Will not stay here ever again though. Over something that could have been caught by the front desk persons.we are not a snowflake family who whimpers at this type of thing but if another family were to be in there welp I’m sure it would have been more than an issue.

The pool area needs some help. The bathroom inside the pool section was down, so it was a walk through the hall when you were wet. But otherwise it was ok. The breakfast wasn’t always full, the hot food was, but the milk and juice choices was very, very low and each day was worse. But that could be renovations too. The room was pretty clean. the table/desk was missing bolts and almost fell over, the one leg wasn’t attached. We just took the bolt from another leg and fixed it. We will check it out when it’s renovated and get a better idea.

I checked into the hotel through an online website. I was told that an additional hold would be placed on my card for the one night stay. I was also informed that the money that was on hold would be returned. I think the information about the hold asked for in cash. The return would be less confusing and also less conflicting when it comes to the refund.

Our room was not very clean. Dust on the headboards. Dust on the coffee table. Dusty floors. Bath tub needs to be replaced. Overall, the hotel was not well kept. We have stayed in Wyndham hotels before and never had one problem. Will think twice in the future.

10/10 I recommend, the only issue there was, the tv isn't a smart tv so bring a roku stick or amazon stick. Everything else was perfect down to the pool, hotub, bedding, water pressure, breakfast, parking and the staff were amazing.

The hotel was clean and looked great. The service was also great. Not a lot to choose from for breakfast, but their coffee was awesome, though 👍. Not a lot of hotels serve good coffee based on my traveling experience, but this one does. Additionally, their pool was clean and operational.

The window had no screen, and not able to lock with a roof right outside making it easy for someone to access the room.. Not at all what I expected based on the reviews.

Always check to see if there’s construction going on in the hotel. They’re updating all the rooms and didn’t let us know and we had to live through all the noise and the loud worker staying at the hotel. Irritating and they were very rude.

Room construction and updating going on the third floor right next to me all the way down the hallway full of furniture and rugs noisy. The worker stayed next to me very loud when I asked them to quiet down they told me to F off I didn’t know I would be in a construction zone on the third floor. It was very irritating. They overworked their cleaning staff and then expect them to clean up after the construction workers too. Bunch of crap never stay there again.

As you walk in, trim is missing. The carpet and furniture is dirty/dingy. Working out, the weight bench is broken, no elliptical, and the water machine does not work. In the room, the towel was dirty, hair on the tub and the bathroom counter. For Breakfast, there was processed cheese in some type of weird omelet. Illinois is losing companies left and right, Morton Salt most recently. Next time, I will stay in a hotel further from the city.

I stayed over a month. Staff was also helpful and friendly. The only issue was my bedding was only changed three times.

Breakfast was very limited. Watped floors in our room so bathroom door scrapes the floor and needed force to open or close all the way. But clean, quiet with comfortable beds at an affordable price.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were remodeling so they are working on upgrades throughout. It was a bummer that the hot tub was closed and pool was ice cold. We stayed 2 non-consecutive nights. The first night, the bathroom switch was not working exactly right but it was alright. The next night we stayed, there was a large stain and tip in the curtain (which the staff made a note of to take care of after we left) and there was dirt all over the window sill from what looked like people coming in and out of the window to the room. Breakfast was a nice mixture of hot and cold choices. And they did pretty well to keep it stocked up throughout the breakfast time. Overall a nice stay!

The hotel was clean with very friendly staff. The rooms were nice. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food and they kept everything stocked up nicely! They were currently under renovations and we were told that there would be some construction noise during our stay, but it was very quiet. Was a very nice stay.

Both of the mattresses in room 332, were extremely hard and uncomfortable! They were much worse than any of the other rooms, I have stayed on, on the property. This room did not have a microwave, like all the others I have stayed in, at this property.

I have visited this hotel often, and I have never been disappointed. Specifically, this last time, I arrived at the hotel at midnight after a 23 hour flight from Vietnam, and the staff was overly accommodating to me, more than I deserved. I would recommend this hotel in a second!

I'd like to see some juices offered! ALDI has a 100% OJ..not from concentrate..might want to consider that. Jets on hot tub were not forceful at all! Barely on. Might need a good scrubbing or some maintenance. Not a bad place..but not great... They're in the process of replacing toikets and blinds. Might want to consider centering the King bed to the wall/room. Side by windows was difficult to enter snd put a table for sleep machine..

Well, had a nice clean room, renovated bathroom (floor, toilet, shower walls) but old sink fixtures. Beds were great! Unfortunately, while having breakfast, observed a bug crawling over the bread selections and had to report it to the front desk.

3rd floor hallway smelled like weed, 24/7. Pool had green film growing on tiles, so much so that people were carving their names in it. Hot tub had sediment in it, like sand in the corners. Room was clean, and breakfast was good.

We had two rooms. I had asked for adjoining rooms, but they had one of the adjoining rooms rented out, which did not make sense to me. If you only have one set of adjoining rooms you should not rent that room out unless it’s the last room which shifts I think you should have your employee shift change at 2 o’clock instead of 3:00 we got there at check-in time and our room was not ready because they were changing shifts. The towels were hard to come by. We had four people in each room and only two towels per room we had to ask for more towels both days. There was mold around the bar in the shower and the plug in our tub would not close.

Hot tub & pool was loaded with young children & site was under renovation. However, my jacuzzi suite was acceptable until I removed the mattress cover to fine urine stain where I was going to need to sleep. The manager returned my payment on the spot and apologized.

the hot tub was only hot water- the jets didnt work at all. the pool looked like it had a layer of slime(oil) on top of it. was cold in the pool area. Smell of old carpet in room and there was something plugged in room and above door on frame like an alarm or something. it was filthy. a piece of the heater/ac was sticking out from under it. i just didnt like all the pallets of toilets sitting everywhere when you walked to check into hotel.

The hot tub was closed on first day of stay on second day it was operational but there were no towels and a waterlogged diaper material all over the floor. The stairwells and hallways full of mud. I will most likely not stay at this location again though I will be visiting in the area for an extended period

Staff was very helpful and kind, the breakfast was a bit on the less than good side but by no means the worst. The pool and hot tub were nice, but the bathroom in the room felt a bit crap. It had broken tiles and they moved when you stepped on them. The free body wash, shampoo and conditioner were genuinely awful. By the 3rd day, made my hair start falling out; so bring your own.

Everything was fine until they booked a room full of kids in the room above me who jumped and yelled and jumped and yelled until 2:00 AM. I know that is what kids do and it’s not technicality the hotels fault but the room should have been on the first floor away from guest trying to sleep.

We were there during a winter storm and the power went out around 1, it kept going off and in everytime kicking the fan off and on. Which kept us up all night which is not the hotels fault, but could have been handled better, out of order signs on elevators. Etc

The room good till the 2nd day we found a roach on the wall I take a picture kill it and let the front desk know. He said it was noted and the morning front desk person said I was supposed to call the front desk and let them come kill the roach so they can see it there self. We booked this hotel for the pool specifically for our 2 year old. The pool was ice cold and could not get in it, and the hot tub was murky looking and the bottom of it was all sandy. Our toddler was up basically the entire night because people were stomping around till 3 am. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and ended up only

Everything was wonderful. It was an extended stay so the only thing I would say was Christmas morning. There was a surge of people for breakfast and they ran out so we weren’t able to eat. And then not the fault of the hotel, power went out, so we only had power in the bathroom, which we may do. But overall, it was a good stay.

The rating on this hotel should not be wonderful it’s ok , all the vending machines were sold out ,coffee was the most watered down I’ve ever had , Found a woman’s pair of pants under the ottoman in our room , the “hot tub” was luke warm at best and the jets were so weak it didn’t even make the water bubble ,The staff was very nice , and the hotel and area were very quiet .if you don’t need any amenities and just a quiet place to sleep this is it

I've stayed here multiple times. Some of the bathrooms have a motion sensor which turns on the light and fan. This is problematic at 3a when you need to use the restroom and get blinded by the light and overcome by the fan noise. I hope they'll fix this.

There was a funny smell in the hallways. The shower could have been cleaned a little better. The free breakfast was gross. The sugar free syrup ruined the waffles. I also made a bowl of cereal and the milk tasted like it was going bad. The staff made me so mad. I put the DND sign on the door so I could take a nap before checking out. I was sleeping great until they started banging on the door and jarred me out of my sleep. Seconds later, before I could make it to the door, another loud knock. It wasn’t a normal, polite knock. It was loud like they were banging on the door with some sort of object. All of this to tell me checkout was as at noon. I was well aware of and it was only 11:27am. I was so pissed off. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels and have never experienced such a thing.

I was in the handicap accessible room on the second floor. The room smelled like a nursing home. The lock on the bathroom door didn’t work, and I got stuck inside, since it was a pocket door. The soda machine was broken. Wouldn’t accept coins, and was very sensitive to the bills, it would accept.

I appreciated pool being open until 11, and a noon checkout. Room was clean and well stocked for our needs. Wpuld stay again.

However, I was charged $100 after checkout for what the hotel claimed was “baby poop found in the room.” This was not only inaccurate—it was impossible. The children in our party were in my room, not in the room of another guest as was suggested. The only items present were clean diapers, and no mess was left behind. I tried to clarify this with staff, but the charge remained. I understand hotels must maintain cleanliness standards, but I expect those standards to be applied fairly and with evidence. Unless this issue is acknowledged and resolved, I’ll be disputing the charge with my bank. Overall, the stay was affordable, but the unexpected charge and lack of resolution left a sour impression. I’ll be returning to Choice Hotels for future travel.

First and foremost, there was an SUV in the parking lot that the alarm kept going off honking every five minutes from at least 9 PM until 3 AM. I called the front desk. They said they would look into his vehicle it was and apparently they didn’t know. They said that there was a new owner on the property And they were not able to call to have the car towed. Did see the gentleman in the morning drive away in it so the gentleman was staying at the hotel. We had to give our make and model of our vehicle so they should’ve had theirs. Secondly, you’re supposed to have coffee 24 hours a day since there’s no coffee pots in the rooms anymore and every time I went to get coffee, it was empty. Had to go to the front desk to request coffee. Third went down for breakfast. There was one tiny egg half a piece of sausage had to again go to the front desk request more food. It was not time to clean up. They clean up early. People were walking down to get food before they left for the day and there was very minimal amount of hot food. I don’t think I would stay here again. I’ve stayed here several times. Do not recommend.

People were very loud in hallway, sounded like they were in my room. I was right above front desk so they had to hear it and did nothing at 1am. People smoking in hallways and not just cigarettes. Smelled like a pot farm. The breakfast was horrible looking I didn’t even attempt to eat it, just went back to my room.

There was dirty a tips on the sink in my bathroom and linens were stained

Everything about the property is fantastic except for the water temperature which was not hot and not a strong flow. Outside of that, everything else was perfect.

There was a a mell of mold when you entered the hotel, boxes puled tovthe ceiling. When we got to the first room it smelled horrible. I asked to switch rooms. The second room was worse, with mold growing in the tub.The young man at the desk... stated , that he cant keep switching. He was rude and selective of how he treated the guest...

Pool was closed by county because there was no enough disinfectant residue

Hotel could use a refresh. Pool was closed by order of health department a couple days before our stay. Bathroom floor was not totally clean. Windows did not lock—screwed in block of wood had come loose. Stay was still very comfortable and price was reasonable.

We have been on the road for 3 weeks and this is the best hotel we have stayed in. Great room with plenty of space, plenty of outlets for our electronics, great bathroom with a shower that really worked well, and a staff that was happy and professional.

Dirty underwater next to the tv stand, hair in the shower, no clean towels, bugs in all of the entrances dead and Alive, smells like mold, the air conditioner didn’t work. We left a day early bc this hotel was so bad! There were ants on the breakfast counter, calling on the fruits and by the juice and the milk and the cereal.

The hotel itself was fine. Clean, staff i met was friendly, and easy to get in and out of. However, for a non smoking hotel....the halls and elevator reeked of marijuana smoke....and the pool was unbearably hot....just as hot as the hot tub...which also didnt bubble at all!!!! The breakfast was ok...but could be better!!! There are for sure things that need worked on, but it is a decent place to sleep!

Fair price for a clean stay, next time we are staying on the top level so travelers above us wont stomp around on the ceiling all night long.

This is a little out of the way, and in a commercial neighborhood but I reserved for the price. Thats often a gamble. However, the place was clean and in decent condition. I'd stay here again! Beds were super comfortable and the facility was clean. We did not use the pool or hot tub but it appeared popular and I heard no complaints.

Front desk staff was really friendly and helpful. Someone had been smoking in the room though which was a bit unpleasant. Breakfast was decent.

First off, there was a mens underware left behind under a chair in our room.. the room itself looked dirty, when asked to get a different room we were told they were all booked for the following nights that they wouldn be able to get us a new room.There was also an older lady at the pool area being obnoxious with a child that wasn’t related to her. I was a bit scared for my kids to be around her so we left to our room

Overall, it was a good stay. The smell in the hallways was not good and it bled into our room, but a little fabreeze fixed it quick!

Entire hotel smelled of marijuana. Hotel staff was unprofessional and rude. Breakfast was mediocre. Room smelled of smoke and mildew. Found multiple hairs and bugs throughout. Check in process was long and they were understaffed with one employee with many families waiting.

The outside of the hotel was very neat. There are benches if you want to sit outside.The hotel is in a quiet area with a McDonald's almost across street. Good location-Golden Corral was only a few minutes away. The staff person (male) who checked us in was not friendly at all. He should consider a career change. The lobby was neat. Our room was clean and comfortable. I got a text right after we checked in saying I should text back if there was a problem. I texted back that the room safe was not working. I never got a response. We did not use the pool, but did see several other people using it.The breakfast was only average, with not a lot of food or drink options.The breakfast area was a nice size. There is a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, which is a huge plus. I would stay at this location again.

The staff is beyond friendly, accommodating and professional. Pool is well kept and other community spaces. We've been here a few times and always enjoyed our stay.
