Best Western Kennesaw

The hot water went out for over 24hrs. The office staff said that the owner would come by and reset “at some point”. Even once they so called fixed it, it was still cold or lukewarm. The rooms smelled like marijuana. Multiple times while I was showering, the water completely went off. This was a one and done for me. This is also my first complaint that I’ve ever compelled to post online but it was awful.

Big hole in my wall and I bought food and put in refrigerator it spoiled I have a son with sickle cell his meds have to stay cold the fridge went completely out woke up to disaster nasty hole flies in my room

Hotel staff are so accommodating and always on site to assist in any situation.

Staff has been and continues to be more helpful than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. This would be my first choice of anywhere to stay.

Constant noise from dog barking , slamming exit door and a baby crying I wasn't able to sleep at aĺl and was dead tired during a 9 hr driving trip. I will not ever be staying here aqain

The room was very clean, staff was nice, but there were homeless people living in the parking lot, sitting on the sidewalk in the back parking lot. There were only 2 pieces of equipment in the gym and one did not work. no hand santizer or wipes in the gym and waterfountain was not working. Front doors to hotel were not working and had to be manually pushed open and closed by guests. coffee all day station was not properly monitored or supplied. Best Western is our preferred hotel when we travel, but will not stay at this one again.

The room was EXCELLENT. Our only problem was with the breakfast. Food was 'lukewarm' at best. No 'breakfast meat. Scrambled eggs were 'runny'. 'Tots', not even 'lukewarm'....

The sliding doors are broken so one has to open and close when going into the hotel. Everything from the elevator to your room screamed outdated, old and used. Breakfast options were not good - Would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff was very accommodating and arranged a room on a lowered level near the stairs to make it easy for me to take our dogs outside. The room itself was very nice and comfortable. The included complimentary breakfast in the morning was good.

Didn’t like the division of King with sofa room with bathroom between the sofa area -only because of our 2 dogs-they like to see us when sleeping… yes a bit spoiled old dogs! We have been staying at this hotel for several years on our way back from FL, but it’s getting a bit shady out back! That’s why we stopped staying at another hotel chain! Lots going on around this hotel-but the rooms are generally nice and it’s within walking distance to restaurants & shopping! The hotel is generally nice and rooms we usually like a lot-1st time in this kind of king pet room! But worried about what’s going on outside hotel???

It was not the nicest hotel, people were friendly. If you had a dog there isn’t much grass.

The hotel itself in need of refurbishment. The main door to enter the hotel was an automatic sliding door that was broken and heavy. Partrons had to open and close the heavy sliding door. The linen was washed but stained and should of been thrown away. For the price I will not stay there again.

The property was overall run down. Front lobby doors were broken. Other entrances were propped open with rocks. The room was average, dirty floors. Bed was comfortable. Noisy guests. Would not recommend for travelers.

This hotel is convenient to where we wanted to be, it was clean and the evening staff was friendly and helpful. I do wish we had known it is very close to the interstate and the side that faces the building was considerably noisy. We also encountered issues with the elevator not working properly from the third floor and the automatic door that opened and closed to the lobby was inoperable and had a sign, handwritten and taped to it that said to “please Push door closed.” There only seemed to be two luggage carts and when it was time for checkout, there was none to be found so I had to make multiple trips from the third floor in order to get our luggage and other items to the car. The price was right and I suppose we did get what we paid for but the experience could’ve been better if the building was better maintained.

My best friend and I was in town for the Chris Brown concert. The hotel was not too far from Truist Park. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean.

Thiscwas a nonrefundable hotel fate, althiugh i was not advised of thevDNR until o wttempted to check in. I insist on avrefund ofbthis hotek rate.

Breakfast was still being brought out and filled all the way till 9am, most places stop early. Still got a full breakfast getting there late... huge bonus to this place.

Loud, could hear all road noise, curtains didn’t close all the way and a light was shining in the window all night.

The front desk staff were awesome! Very friendly and accommodating.

Although the hotel has a sign that it is a smoke-free hotel, the hallways reeked of marijuana and smoke the entire 5-day stay. Try explaining that to young kids. Of those who were courteous enough to go outside to smoke cigarettes, they were right at the entrance. Very disappointed in how this was managed. Not sure anything can be done with what guests do. I will not be staying there again.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very dirty. The floors were sticky. The sheets were not clean. I asked for clean sheets and informed the staff how the beds were dirty. She apologized and gave me clean linens. The hallway and room had an odor. It smelled like cigarettes and an overpowering air freshener. Convenient location, friendly staff, but over priced for the lack of cleanliness. I was disappointed and will not return.

Water coming from ceiling. Lots of water damage on ceiling. Beds need replaced-if you move in bed, it squeaks. You can feel every spring in the mattress.

Hotel has a lot of broken items ie. light fixtures, shower handle, a/c wouldn’t get cold even thought it was set on the lowest setting

The room had a musty smell. The shower had stains on the wall and the ceiling. The curtain had stains as well. The bathroom sink smelled and upon arrival saw multiple German cockroaches on it. Had to do an early checkout because our plans changed. They refused to refund the remaining nights. Stay away from this hotel.

It was clean and the beds were great. But it definitely needs some upgrading.

First impression: the overpowering smell of Marijuana in the lobby caused my head to hurt. I had to Google if Marijuana was legal in GA! Ridiculous. Secondly, I have never had a breakfast at a hotel that did not serve any kind of meat. No bacon, no sausage. No ice machine. And no seating other than the dining area.

I’m coming back.

I wasn’t expecting this one night stay to be a Hilton or offer concierge services, but it definitely exceeded my expectations! We had a king suite room, which was very spacious and included a couch with tv, spacious bathroom with tub shower combo, and a king size bed with a second tv. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve ever been in (a bit more firm than I prefer) but it offered a good night sleep for one evening and felt clean and welcoming. The front desk agent was super friendly and welcoming, and while there were some small superficial things that could use attention (I.e. the headboard could use refinishing and the ceiling in the bathroom could use repainting), the hotel and room were very clean and satisfactory especially considering the rate. Hotel was close to many restaurants and activities as well. Very happy with our stay!

Easy check in and safe and convenient. A little wear and tear visible in some furniture but everything was clean and neat. Breakfast was very basic though.

We stay here often -heading to & from Fl with our 2 dogs. Property is decently maintained -check in staff this time was not as friendly as usual but ok…but check out staff very friendly! There are good places to shop -eat & walk our dogs! But I’m starting to notice people hanging outside end of bldg smoking ??? -not always sure? We used to stay at extended stay of America -but during covid the place went way downhill -poor maintenance of property inside & out-unfriendly staff & lot of shady people hanging around. Notice it’s rating have gone from 8-9 to 6! So hope this doesn’t happen here. It’s a decently nice place to stay-with pets!

Mitchell was accommodating for our whole trip! Only downside was for a pet friendly hotel there was not a lot of area available to walk dogs to do their business.

The chemical smell from the old carpets mixed with bleach and chlorine overwhelming. They give this hotel a “solid “ rating. Loud - doors slamming all night and just a miserable experience

Basic needs met. A place to sleep overnite. Staff came to use plunger in stopped and overflowing toilet. Left without cleaning floor. Pretty sure toilets are not ADA compliant. Would stay again. Appreciate pet friendly policy.

Excellent customer service. Had requested a non smoking room and the room smelled like smoke when we came in. Went to the front desk and they offered two options that were great!

We had a leak occur from the bathroom wall through into the bedroom in the morning after showering. Staff was very kind and adjusted our bill accordingly.

Although they allow dogs there is no grass for them. Had a hard time finding anything other than rocks. Fridge didn’t work, outside vents broken & falling off building. We had a room on highway side and the noise was an issue. Would not recommend.

The General manager /Ownerfeels he shouldn’t partner with Expedia to not mislead them into thinking they will be receiving a smoking room bc on the sit when booking a room it says noting bout non smoking like the other rooms listed. I ask him to correct that he said he had no control over that well that’s not true… I spoke with a lady from corporate of best western she stated that he can call Expedia and get the room to say or not say whateva he wants but instead he rather lie to me on top of getting the police to remove me from the property bc I called the police the night before on his front customer service representative….. he had me trespass when all I tried to do was bring his Front customer service person by the name of be be closer to Christ and the one and true God she even went to church with me on last Sunday but yet I was treated like a criminal at this owners hotel and I don’t appreciate it. They tried to send my cell phone that I ordered to come to the hotel. The asst manager told the police he wanted my cell phone to go to the precinct when i literally standing infront of him.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are pet friendly which was my main priority and breakfast is included. I am staying another week I have enjoyed my first week so much. Thank you Best Western Kennesaw Ga!

We stay here because it is pet friendly and comfortable...however, not impressed with the breakfast. Waffles good but everything else mediocre. I had the oatmeal which was fine but topping were mostly out, brown sugar seemed old and dry had to scrape it.

“We were assigned rooms that were already occupied—not once, but twice. Each time, we accidentally disturbed the current guests when unlocking the door. Additionally, the so-called non-smoking areas were filled with smoke, making it unpleasant.”

Very friendly welcome and quiet stay

I was sickened. The facecloth had make up on it. The top sheet was very thin and wrinkled. It looked used. These 2 items are important when feeling the cleanliness of the room. No lids for the coffee cups in the breakfast area.

The shower water was lukewarm at best and the breakfast was unappetizing. Sports channels were unavailable to top it all off. Staff was friendly and bed was comfortable, but overall not my favorite stay.

Very clean room, the whole property was well cared for. Only negative was the pool was out of service, but with the extreme weather that had just come through the area I fully understood why.

I got this room for my sister in law who needed to be near the hospital where her husband and my brother had just had open heart surgery. It was late at night and she had to get three room keys before getting the door opened to the room only to find bugs on the floor. She kindly declined the room and made arrangements at another hotel.

Breakfast wasn¿t that great. A lot of stuff was empty and need of refilling. It seems the front desk guy had to also take care of stocking the breakfast supplies too. There wasn¿t a hairdryer in the room, called front desk & they brought one up.

It was not only not COVID ready but it the ac quality was horrific. The staff was wonderful but the room was terrible. I will never stay at a BW again.

The room was very nice, spacious and with a couple of very good televisions. We had a king bed executive room which was very comfortable. The manager was excellent, helped us to reduce our stay from three nights to two nights, very helpful.
