The hotel is outside of Seatle in a nice suburb but is 20-30 minute drive from seatle.

The room was really large considering it had two queen beds, a table, and chairs. I appreciated the size and the table being near a window as I worked some while I was in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful during the stay. My family member enjoyed the variety of the breakfast.

We had the song on our door that do not disturb or what it would be and they still came in and moved our stuff in our room. The fire alarm went off at 10 am the next day of our stay and went off at 530 am the next day .

The room was clean and very comfortable. The extra sofa and table and chairs gave us a place to sit and relax and play games. The continental breakfast was the best.

I was looking for a "less expensive" hotel for about a month’s stay while I prepped my home for sale. The Baymont was close and came in at the right price point. I was prepared to be disappointed because I usually stay at more bougie (read “expensive”) hotels. But I was pleasantly surprised. The good: first this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. It’s basic accommodation but with the MOST comfortable bed I’ve slept in in a hotel at any price point. It has the most delicious room coffee with its cute little coffee maker. Unfortunately, I was never up for breakfast so can’t comment on that. It’s centrally located right between Kirkland and Bel-Red with ready hot water and good water pressure. If you stay in hotels, you know what I’m talking about. I felt safe. It was very quiet, had a simple thermostat, free reliable wi-fi, and FREE Laundry! Also, ample free parking. The downsides: it’d be nice to have a safe (laptop size) in the room and the most egregious thing is the fire alarm would go off accidentally on occasion. So disturbing and wrecked my sleep. It’s hard to wind down after an occurrence of fire alarm! Fix That! All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it.

Cleanliness.... There was a large strange spot on the sofa and found a dirty pillow case on the bed. The shower curtain rod is barely attached to the walls.

Check-in was quick. Rooms were decent. Seasonal outside pool, was not open while we were there but they were in processing of prepping for opening it up. Breakfast is good for a quick bite before heading out (eggs, meat, toast/bagels, gluten free options, cereal, fruit. Gas Station right next door, if need to fill up before hitting the road.

We were getting in late and leaving early. So didn’t want to spend much. Everything was fine except when we first went in it had a bad smell.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with our late arrival. The room was very clean and had plenty of bathroom amenities. The breakfast had plenty of choices and loved that they had turkey sausage an option. Plenty of restaurants close by as well as Costco. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

Broken coffee pot. They said they would take care of it but didn’t. Otherwise a decent place. Breakfast was a little better than average and the breakfast staff was very friendly.

In several areas, carpet needed to be vacuumed as particles of dirt were sticking to our feet. all told it was an interesting stay. I would not recommend this hotel.

I was surprised that new baseboard trim was not as tall as the original trim and there was a strip of either different paint color or not painted at all.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was very good. I had to have a handicap room and it was the best for layout for a handicap bathroom I have ever seen seen. I would definitely stay that again.

Half of the electrical outlets did not work. Had to unplug ac unit as the buttons did not work to turn off. Breakfast was horrible. Eggs felt like powdered eggs and grainy. Bacon tasted like it was microwaved.

The parking and property were safe and convenient, but the rooms are out of date, smell weird, and the exterior doors have gaps and let air and noise through. I was in the building furthest in the back and it was quiet during a weeknight. The beds were comfortable (most aren't, so this was nice) and seemed clean, but the smell of the room, maybe the carpet, made me not want to return. It smelled dirty.

I liked the service I received.

My room was great. Large, small sofa, table and chairs, fridge, microwave, comfortable bed. Plenty of plugs and lights, no problems with the tv and coffee maker, Breakfast was fine for being included. I just don’t like going outside to get to my room. I probably would t have stayed here if I knew if was a motel but it was just fine. The staff was very helpful and courteous and quick to help when I accidentally turned my heat/air conditioner off. Thank you very much! Great stay!

This was a quick one-night stay. Staff was friendly. Wasn't fancy, but the rooms were clean. Not bad for the moderate price! We didn't use any of the amenities, not even the breakfast that was included since we were attending a business meeting that served us breakfast.

Friendly welcome at Front Desk, parking was easy. Property is near the freeway, which was a little noisy. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Dirty room, weird property, not maintained well

The only reason why I didn't rate 5 stars was because of their breakfast. The toaster waffles were stale, it would be amazing if they would invest in a waffle maker. That always boosts stars.

I got some sleep. I think the sheets were probably clean. The carpet is sticky. Multiple large stains on the floor. I put my stuff in the bathtub and slept in my clothes. Have traveled for 16 years and thought this place was an onexpensive safe and clean choice. It was sketchy.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice simple breakfast. For the options in Totem Lake for a lesser expensive stay this one fit the bill, there are a couple others that are really sketchy.

We stay there everytime for hospital visits.. that staff id GREAT and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The bag with water and treats was a pleasant surprise.

Staff at the hotel was great.

The front desk staff is nice and handed out treat bags. The parking is ample and free. The room layout (in a king bed room anyway) is excellent, with the bathroom and a...bar sink (?) tucked behind a corner and with a long space to store bags. The water was hot and with good pressure. The TVs are on the newer side, the heating system is an updated wall thermostat, and the fitness room seemed to have newer (if limited) gear in there. The breakfast doesn't have the best of the best (the waffles are eggos rather than a waffle maker, for example). BUT there is a BIG selection of foods. It's way above average and with thoughtful touches like a gluten free area in a separate space and with a separate toaster. Ramen? So many types of bars? Probiotic shots? Yoohoo? Really great! The kitchen attendant was also very much on top of things. We'd stay here again for sure!

I was working most of the time--so the room was very functional for my purposes and the price was right. Updating the decor is needed but it was clean. Ask for a room in the back--away from the freeway. My room was quiet and peaceful. The immediate neighborhood is not great but good shopping and lots of food options are easily found within a ten-minute drive.

Breakfast was not great quality and crowded. Facility overall is older and not great condition. I would call this place acceptably clean and adequate in terms of comfort but nothing special. Newer facilities/furnishings would be better for the same price range.

Very clean room and comfortable bed. The toiletries were a nice touch. Front desk staff was very sweet and easy checkin. The free hot breakfast was not edible. And if any guest smokes/vapes in or outside of their room the entire building (every single room) will experience an extremely loud fire alarm! Quite disturbing.

We were only staying one night, and we’re just looking for a place to sleep. This room was that. The bathtub was dirty. The fire alarm went off for about five minutes. They told us that food delivery could come straight to our room, but then disappeared so the food delivery guy had to call us to the front lobby. And, when the fire alarm did go off, nobody answered the phone at the front desk.

Would stay again if visiting the area. Also booked online 30 minutes before arriving and was as advertised and very easy good service. Also has included breakfast which was good! Again, simple, nothing fancy, not over the top but just right for a quick sleep, shower and food before getting back on the road . Cleanliness vs value was perfect.

What a great little hotel tucked away in Kirkland! I wasn’t expecting much due to the affordable price but the beds were comfortable and the location was secure and quiet. Breakfast was delicious with lots of offerings. I’ll definitely be back.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating with anything that I needed. But, the room was terrible. Upon entering the room it smelled like stinky feet! The toilet flushed slowly, and would not flush. I had to ask for a plunger that I used myself to unplug it. But the worst thing was the mattress! It sunk! It had no support whatsoever. I suffered a severe back ache for 3 days! Needless to say, I was very disappointed.

Great for a 1 night stay

Half asleep me checked in and the receptionist was still very helpful, informative and understanding, even though I was deliriously tired. Next morning I got locked out of my room 15 minutes before check out and the morning receptionist was also very helpful, understanding and very quick to help as I was in a time restraint; while also still taking care of other clients (she was waiting for the them to find their form of payment). She even offered me a couple waters to take with me since the weather was heating up. The cooked breakfast could have been better, but there were so many great take away options, it canceled out the mediocre cooked breakfast. Overall good place to stay; at the very least you get friendly staff!

WC was clogged…reported it to the cleaning lady and she came back with a plunger and a pair of gloves, gave them to me and told me to do it!

The room was as you’d expect for a motel just off the interstate. The important things were clean (towels, bedsheets, carpet etc) while the room had small cosmetic issues due to age; the bathroom fan had poor ventilation and there were water stains on the shower wall and ceiling. Otherwise, the hotel staff were great, friendly and accommodating. They also had a number of security cameras around the building so that was of no additional concern.

There was globs of wet silicone caulk in the shower that got into my son’s hair and we had to cut it out. The hairdryer started to smoke when we tried to use it. The pillows are the worst I have ever slept on. There is a lot of noise from the highway. The property overall is very run down. The breakfast is sub par. I brought the caulk and hairdryer issue to the attention of the front desk. It should have warranted financial compensation, but I was only offered a bottle of water. I’d avoid this place like the plague. I will definitely be contacting Expedia about this.

The breakfast area would not accommodate all of the guests waiting lines, packed, guests seemed frustrated, many forced to purchase breakfast at restaurants in the area.

Front desk staff is very thoughtful. They have provided us extra water and coffee when we check out for our road trip.

This hotel could have easily been a 5/5 however it is a bit older and you can see that in the rooms. A little upgrade can go a long ways.

For the price and a short notice booking, the hotel was great. I slept in, so I don’t know how the breakfast is, but the front desk gave me water bottles when checking in and again checking out. Great spot for a weekend in Seattle.

Very old and dated. All rooms had outside doors. We were off 405 which was very noisy. For almost the same price we should have gone to the Marriott.

My family and I had a very nice and quiet stay over the past weekend at Baymont by Wyndham Seattle/Kirkland WA. Perhaps it would have been noisier, but we just missed the 4th of July visitors so we had a very relaxing time, it was quiet, felt safe, very friendly and helpful staff, the pool was nice with towels provided, the room supplied enough towels, and washcloths, and also had an area to set your luggage and bags in the closet (which was very convenient), there were also two sinks, which were helpful with having little kids and in general, the location is excellent close to grocery stores, restaurants, parks, the freeway entrance, etc. The breakfast options were plentiful and the lady staffing breakfast was a very hard worker and very nice. Cold water machine in the lobby and the front desk staff gave me some snacks and water for our kiddos, that was a nice touch!! We would definitely visit again in the summer due to when the pool is open.

My little girl and i were there for friends wedding and the girls at the frint desk were awesome one in particular Layla helped with pur bags and everything would definitely stay again

The hotel is on a property with two boarded up restaurants in front. The lobby is nice enough but the rooms haven’t but updated since the late 80’s early nineties. I had two rooms that were the same. The first room the toilet didn’t flush. Both faced the freeway. The noise from the freeway was horrendous as the windows were single pane aluminum framed. The overall vibe was extremely depressing.

The property is just so-so. It was clean but lacked the little things like a luggage stand in the room. The breakfast was okay offering more choices than I expected but nothing special. The breakfast room is nice, and there is plenty of parking. I found it most amusing that the name is Baymont Inn and Suites and they have no suites on site. The rooms were the standard 2 queens. I think overall the price is more than the value received.

This was nothing like the pictures on hotels.com. The property is old and rundown. No elevators in the stairway was very narrow and hard to get up with luggage. The room was old and musty. The mattress was old soft and had bedbugs! My girlfriend is asthmatic and couldn’t breathe after just five minutes in there. We had to find a different hotel and paid a premium because it was last minute hotels.com did nothing to help us and the property refused to refund our money. Extremely disappointing!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and especially loved that we had daily maid service, which other hotels do not. The staff was friendly and courteous, and we plan to stay here again on a return trip to Kirkland.
