Property and room were clean. Will choose to stay here again.

Upon entering the hotel, all I could smell was cleanliness. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff was courteous and helpful. The pool area was nice and clean. The only thing my husband didn’t like was the breakfast. The sausage needed a few extra minutes of cooking. And the eggs less scrambled. And the fruit needs a bit note of a selection.

Clean rooms & helpful & friendly staff.

Location is good. Bad air in room, something smell, recirculation works only when conditioner is turned-on, but conditioner is so loud that it is hard to sleep. On Sunday breakfasts was fine. On Monday there was virtually no breakfast at all. Not even coffee. Room service start knocking and calling after 10am, while checkout at 11am.

Did not eat, because it was a small choice of variety. All three rooms reaped with strong smell of urine and the pillows was sour smelling. They apparently knew this because there were room glade deodorizers stuck in the wall sockets and they were empty.

The property itself is very clean & located close to just about anything you need. We paid to stay for 4 nights and we were unable to stay at this location. They have very strong plug in air fresheners in literally every outlet within the hotel. Almost as if they are trying to cover up a smell vs fixing the issue causing the smell. The fragrance was so strong that I started breaking out in hives & could not breathe. I requested a room transfer without a plug in & the front desk staff stated they all have them. I tried to push through it until the hives started. I then requested to be transferred to a sister facility & when that was requested, I was offered a fan for ventilation. I sleep with a CPAP that pulls in room air. With already reacting to the fragrance with the CPAP, I knew my health would truly be in jeopardy once my CPAP was in use. I politely declined & requested a transfer. They were able to get us over to another hotel (not part of La Quinta) but when we got there, the staff member stated they had not received anything from La Quinta as promised (we know they were in contact as the phone call was made right in front of us) & that they were only able to help us for 1 night. I tried calling La Quinta to have this addressed & taken care of quickly as it was already after 10pm but received no answer. The manager at the new hotel was extremely helpful & told us not to worry about it & that he would accommodate us for the 4 nights we paid for at La Quinta. The new hotel was great, but it was not worth the pricing we paid for at La Quinta. Given the circumstances, I feel we should have been offered something for than a fan & possibly even a partial refund given the circumstances. We have stayed here before without issues but that was when it was brand new. I am not certain we will be returning.

We booked 2 rooms for 1 night. The first room smelled so bad and pillows smelled like wet dog .The other room was fine but the door would not open and ask the receptionist and she stayed we needed to wait for someone to bring the master key to open it . She put us in another room temporarily while we waited for them to open our room . Once opened they told us we had to move to another room . We we’d not the only ones complaining about the smell in our room . Honestly we should have got a full refund for the bad experience. We will not be booking with them again .

Hotel was kept clean. The pool was small and cold. Room was clean but pillows smelled like dirty gym socks. Breakfast was ok.

Accessable to several restaurant's. Property very well maintained and location feels safe. Staff was always friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
- 5/5
Yes, everything was good. We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, staff was friendly, room was clean
- 3/5
Room was ok clean. Staff didn’t seem to be knowledgeable about the property. But it was a nice place to cool down after camping on the beach for a week in the heat. No restaurant close by. But it was a quiet neighborhood which we also appreciated. Would have been nice to have supplies to purchase to wash clothes, but they were completely out, and the guy at the front desk told me the soap was in the machine…. uhhhhh no, it isn’t, there are three houses in the back, one for cold water one for hot and one for used water, none for soap.
- 5/5
Everything was updated and clean
- 3/5
The room smelled and housekeeping went in our room with a do not disturb sign on the door. Front desk help was no help. They also deactivated our room cards after staff entry. Awful
- 5/5
Excellent customer service!

Clean room, clean lobby!

- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay including the breakfast and workout room. The check-in and checkout process was fantastic!
- 2/5
There was mold so bad that the hanging picture fell off the wall because the aticky strips it was held up with had so much mold and moisture on them. The next room had an ac until with mold all in the vents.

Good hotel

This hotel was so clean. Smells great when you walk in. Everything was good
- 4/5
Yes. Need more variety.
- 2/5
The carpet was literally sticky it was so worn out. You had to be careful not to step on tacks. Breakfast was a joke. Get there early if you want anything to eat. Staff doesn’t care. Stay away.
- 4/5
everything looks good and it was in good shape, the only thing was that out room had a strong smell to humidity and we are alergic. So we didn't sleep well. I am afraid there is mold on that room. They try to cover it with a glade scent plug, but that is worse honestly.
- 4/5
Good place to stay with family. Beeakfast needs to be improved. There were not many options and once an item got over it was never re-filled even after repeated requets. But overall a nice stay.

Check-in was quick and efficient. Breakfast buffet was average. Room was clean.
- 3/5
We had our 3 yo grandson stay with us. Went to give him a bath to find no stopper available for the tub. Went to the front desk to be told that they don’t have them. I got handed a rag and was told to jam it in the drain and hope for the best. Insane! First time for everything.
- 5/5
The rooms were not spotless and smelled like crude oil.

Phone didn’t work neither did the air conditioner or the internet.

We love staying at this La Quinta. This is about our 4th or 5th trip to this hotel before a cruise and it is co convenient for us to gather here and then leave together!

Yes
- 4/5
Comfortable, customer service was very good.
- 1/5
Lobby smelled like rotten sewerage. The night clerk said they had sewer problems. It was almost intolerable to stand in the lobby. The room smelled musky, a/c was not working properly. Room was hot, shower had low water pressure ~ bed was uncomfortable. Will never stay here again
- 2/5
It was an allergy nightmare. Room smelled horrible of mildew. We checked the vent on the HVAC and it was black. Room seemed clean enough and staff was nice, but I won't stay there again. I was so miserable.
- 3/5
The staff were very nice, courteous and helpful! Our room was super hot and would not cool. They moved us to a cooler room. The internet was VERY off and on (one employee told us it hadn't worked in 3 days) and was needed for work. We met another couple that had issues that left the hotel. Our stay was OK but we are in the area a lot for cruising and we WILL NOT be staying here again.

Had a great stay
- 2/5
The room assigned was not made up. Went to desk and was assigned a different room. This room was made up but not for the amount of people in my party and one of the bed spreads had stains on it. The room first smelled clean but there was an underlying odor to it. Went to front desk to get air freshener. Some room close to us there was a dog barking. The breakfast selection wasn’t bad but it kept running out of things and the person supplying it brought out one item at a time and only a very little bit at a time. Of the three juices available, two were empty. The biscuits and graves were good. There was only whole milk and they were out of cream cheese for the bagel. I don’t usually write reviews but this time I couldn’t let it go. The front desk person was very apologetic and said she had heard similar complaints. She also stated the hotel was under new management.
- 1/5
The breakfast wasn’t all that great
- 5/5
Loved the stay
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a great location close to everything. The indoor pool is fantastic and the overall experience felt welcoming and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Costumers service terrible
- 3/5
The floor was wet from the AC
- 3/5
Rooms need to be paid better attention to.
- 1/5
The first room had an unbearable septic smell and the phone didn’t work to call the desk. We were moved to another room. No hair dryer. Had to get one at the desk. This phone also not working. The comforter had a noticeable orange stain. The shower was so slick I about fell. The breakfast was bread. Muffins. Juice not drinkable. Ran out of waffle mix. No eggs sausage or anything hot. Front attendant in the morning was totally rude. Coffee upstairs in the room out of date. Creamer out of date. Floors dirty. Stinky lobby. Morning attendant dressed like she just got out of bed. Watched a family with small children explain to their children that there was no hot food. I am furious.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
The front desk lady was so kind I came to town for my aunt funeral she offered her condolences my room key didn’t work she changed my room and went with me to make sure it would work I needed her kindness that night as I had just worked 12 hours and drive 4 hours she was amazing

Staff was nice
- 1/5
We requested a new room, only to discover even more issues. The floor was soft and unstable, and there was a water leak that soaked the entire floor, including our luggage. We spent our stay walking on wet carpet and worrying about damaging our belongings. This place is far below even the lowest standards I would expect from La Quinta. It was dirty, uncomfortable, and honestly felt unsafe. I would never stay here again and cannot recommend this property to anyone.
- 5/5
Tammy at the front desk was absolutely amazing. The care and compassion she showed my handicap mother, you do not see that everywhere. The hotel still needs some updating done. Thermostat did not work, lamps did not work, and the bathroom floor was so slippery with some film on it. This made it very dangerous for someone that is handicap.
- 3/5
Room smelled when we first walked in. I also left a pair of diamond earrings on the night stand and didn’t realize until I unpacked the next day. I called and talked to the front desk they never returned my phone call.
- 1/5
Yes
- 3/5
Room smelled terrible like mildew. Under staffed.
- 4/5
Clean. Staff nice. My friend was in another room and got bit by BED BUG.
- 5/5
Small hotel, quiet, clean, lovely staff at the desk when I checked in after 6pm. Wonderful staff person sorting things for the guests in the breakfast area. There are enough standard breakfast items on offer, including the ‘make your own waffle’ machines everyone loves! Can’t beat the price point. Nice alternative to Galveston if you are in Houston for a cruise.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 1/5
At the time of my stay they were experiencing some kind of plumbing issue. The whole hotel smelled like sewage.
- 4/5
Stay was good, only issue was had to move room due to toilet not working in first room. Staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room bathroom and shower were dirty, sticky floor and beard hair on the shower walls.
- 1/5
We checked in!! Went to our rooms and came right back down!! The whole motel smelled like sewer!! We were not gonna stay there!! The lady at the front desk would not refund our money; said she didn’t smell anything!!! There was another couple there and they left as well!! It was HORRIBLE
- 3/5
The hotel was very busy and not very clean. Staff was nice enough
- 5/5
Could have had a better selection for breakfast. Toaster was not working properly. Condiments were not properly stored and not good to eat.
- 1/5
Yes. Supportive
- 1/5
It stunk and the ac wasn’t working. We left and they still charged us! It was the most horrible experience I have ever encountered my whole 60 years on this earth. We stay at the holiday inn just down the street.
- 2/5
The inital room was asked for not accessible, was given an accessible room that stunk like moldy carpet and the lights werent working. Thankfully they accommodated to a different room. The new room however also smelled like cat urine. The thermostat wasnt working on the wall but did have a window unit. The thermostat was clicking all night wouldnt let us sleep. Breakfast was eggs and ssg all vold, the coffee was cold, wont be staying at this hotel ever again.
- 5/5
Amazing place to stay. I truly recommend.
- 4/5
Room and staff was great. The hotel had no luggage carts for the 3 days i was there.
- 2/5
The king room had two tvs that were powered on but no remote and the screens did not work. The desk worker accomodated by moving us to another availble king. Unfortunately the AC unit was not working and temperature was rising above 78 degrees. After pleading to change room we ultimately ended up in a smaller 2 queen room but the entire 2nd floor of the hotel reeked of raw sewege. Other guests were also complaining of the smell and some even had to retreat to the lobby. Both king rooms additionally had stains on the floor and couches that closely resembled reproductive fluid. Most likely the last time we will ever stay at a La quinta.
- 4/5
Nice stay
- 2/5
The room was clean, but was not well kept. The nightside table was missing formica on two corners. The bathroom amenities did NOT include bath soap/gel!!! Also, we were not informed upfront that the room only gets cleaned every three days! You had to exchange used linens for fresh ones in the front lobby!!
- 5/5
It was fine.
- 2/5
The front desk staff were professional. When you got off the elevator it was hot and muggy in the hall. The room was damp and musty. It smelled like it was flooded or wet and not properly dried. The room didn’t appear to have been cleaned well. There were nasty things that resembled silly string maybe on the ceiling and wall. If felt gross just to be in the room honestly.
- 5/5
Great stay didn’t eat breakfast
- 5/5
Nice place. It as convenient.
- 1/5
When I checked in they stated they had my reservation but no room available for me. They wanted to send me away to another hotel and finally when I said I wasn’t going anywhere because I had confirmed reservations they gave me the wrong bed room. Which did not have enough beds for my kids. Finally she gave me a correct room which smelled like sewer and was so dirty. The manager just said sorry I think the room had been sitting there for a while and did absolutely nothing about it.
- 5/5
Terrible breakfast
- 5/5
we went to the DRones art Show at the Lagoon Fest very convenient for us
- 1/5
We checked in got a room. The room lock would not work. Got a second room. Walked into the room and a horrible smell like mildew and ammonia attacked our sinus. On the third room, again a horrible smell that they covered up with a spray. According to a manager the hotel was just purchased. They honestly need to make the necessary repairs before renting the rooms to customers. The manager was extremely friendly and directed us to a hotel about a mile away. We stayed in the La Quinta back in the spring and it was fine. Now its not up to standards.
- 2/5
Odor in room when arrived, hair in tub, breakfast was not very good. However, the late check in was very convient. This really helped.
- 4/5
Good service!
- 3/5
Our room key didn’t work. My sister and hubby’s room key did not work. They moved us both to another room. Our room was hot and smelled of mold.
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
Love this hotel. Clean, well maintained and great staff. Breakfast is so so but it’s free.
- 2/5
The rooms need repaired. We had to be moved 3 times bc of the poor conditions of the rooms. I think people with pets should only be allowed on a certain floor bc some of the rooms smell just like them. It feels unsanitary.
- 3/5
Good to sleepover and keep going.
- 5/5
Recommend staying here
- 2/5
the room had an odorous odor in the room
- 1/5
My room was filled with mold. It smelled so strong in there. Had to book somewhere else cause there was only 1 more room available but it smelled worse.
- 1/5
Worse experience!!! Room smelled molded and rooms didn’t have working fire alarms or lights in rooms when there was alarms. Elevators not working after the alarm and hotel didn’t have any bottom rooms open and had to sleep out my vehicle and hotel gave only loyalty points bc one of 4 members could go up 4 floors of stairs. So since 1 person stayed in the room and hotel couldn’t accommodate the rest of the group hotel is not doing nothing just giving out loyalty points for the situation. Never going back to this hotel.
- 3/5
Okay
- 2/5
First room smelled like mildew walking in the ceiling had a leak for a while carpet was all soaked and ac was cold so made the smell terrible . Immediately went downstairs to let know change rooms at first didn’t have another one but then had one . Only thing ac didn’t blow well we never slept under blankets all night . No complimentary shampoo soap nothing it’s like they forgot to put . Overall we have had good experience at la quanta but this one was not one of them .
- 3/5
Our ac wasn’t working in room
- 5/5
Air conditioning leaking onto carpet and causing a mildew smell to room. Will report to front desk at checkout to inform them of issue. I have stayed many times at this hotel in the past and this is first issue I have ever identified. The hotel will continue to be my place when in the area.
- 1/5
When we got to our room, it was just as bad. The walls were stained, the furniture was beat up, and the bathroom was dirty. It felt like nobody cared about maintaining the place. Then, a little before midnight, the fire alarm went off. On our way down the stairs, we almost tripped because the floor in that area was soft and rotten. We ended up sitting in our car for over an hour while firefighters came and went, but the building had the burnt smell and smoke. What really broke my heart was seeing elderly and handicapped guests struggling just to get to their rooms. At 2 a.m., the alarm went off again, then shut off after a minute. By then, we couldn’t even relax or sleep because we were on edge, waiting for it to happen again. Sure enough, at 6am it went off again. That’s when we had enough, packed up, and checked out. There were guest sleeping in the lobby! I told the front desk I wanted a refund since we didn’t get a minute of rest and the conditions were terrible. The young man said the manager would handle it — but honestly, no one should have to go through what we did in the first place. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, this place is dangerous and mismanaged.
- 2/5
What is the pet deposit for if the carpets and couches are not shampooed?
- 1/5
Room was unfinished in the ceiling, ac was noisy
- 3/5
We had 3 people on our trip, but only 2 sets of towels. We asked for 1 more set, the front desk told us we would need to bring down our used towels in order to exchange them for new towels because the hotel only gives a max of 2 sets. Wow! The washing machine didn't work. We spent 1 hour trying to figure out what was wrong and if our credit card had been charged. The machine operates by credit card. We were upsetbe ause we had put our clothes in and the detergent in which cost us $2 dollars from the lobby. We ended up in a laundromat.
- 4/5
Negatives: Our room smelled like urine. We didn’t complain because it’s a pet-friendly hotel, and we have a dog so that was a huge part of choosing this hotel. But PHEW. It smelled. Also, there are holes in the floor along the corridors that have been covered with carpet. Like HOLES. Big enough to trip into with your entire foot. That was a challenge for my elderly mother, just navigating the hallway from the elevator to the room. We were on the 2nd floor. Staff is never at the desk. We went to the desk once or twice a day to get new towels or toilet paper, etc. and not one time was there a staff member in sight. You have to cough loudly a few times, then someone will come lol. Not a dealbreaker, but weird. All in all, we *might* stay here again, but probably not.
- 3/5
The staff were all very nice. We were very disappointed to find out the pool was closed and in need of service, especially since the indoor pool was one of the main reasons we chose this location. We asked one of the janitorial staff to remove the trash from our room and it was never done. The last thing was the mattress: it has not been turned in a long time, it had two dents on each side where people have slept. It was really hard and not very comfortable. The breakfast provided was good.
- 5/5
We found the accessible room very accommodating..
- 5/5
Literally around the corner from the airport. Can walk to the airport if needed.
- 5/5
One of the worst beds I’ve ever slept on, also some attention is needed on level 2 hall way, big soft spots that feel like you can fall through, sorry for the negatives but that bed was horrible
- 4/5
Front desk lady was very nice, quick and efficient with check in and checkout! Very nice and clean as well
- 1/5
The bed was as hard as the floor. I asked to be moved to a different room. The person at front desk refused. The pool was lime green. I have photos. We checked out and went elsewhere. We have stayed here in the past and had no problems. We won't be back.
- 3/5
Great place !
- 4/5
We had a great night thanks
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Property convient to shops and highways.
- 4/5
Sweet dreams
- 2/5
the room smelled very bad and musty moldy we rented 3 that night for our party of six only 1 of the rooms had towels we shared because staff said sorry, they had none. they gave us 2 worn out pool towels
- 3/5
We went to breakfast at 8:30, and they didn’t have any eggs out. The worker said that they ate them. Was very disappointed because it didn’t look busy at all, and they said they weren’t making anymore. Seemed very lazy in my opinion. The ac in our room also was frozen over so the carpet was soaking wet.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and staff were even nicer.
- 3/5
The property was unkept and very dirty
- 4/5
I’m a regular
- 3/5
It is a good stay but staff and breakfast is not good
- 2/5
When we brought this issue to the attention of the staff, we were offered another room directly next to the original one. Unfortunately, the new room had the exact same unpleasant smell, as if it were lingering throughout that section of the hotel. This did nothing to resolve the issue. In addition to the foul odor, the amenities and service were subpar. There was only one small trash can in the bathroom, and no other place to dispose of trash in the room. We were told housekeeping only comes every three days, which is completely inadequate given the limited options for trash disposal. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were informed that no manager was available. We were essentially told our only options were to either stay and deal with the conditions or find another hotel—last minute—at a significantly higher cost. No effort was made to provide a refund, discount, or any kind of accommodation for the poor experience. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve encountered. I expected basic standards of cleanliness and service, and
- 5/5
Front desk was great
- 3/5
When I went to check in the Customer Service was not all that great. The water pressure in the room was very low. You could not control the AC. It would come on for a little bit then go off. Did not call the room down. The outside lawn furniture was all cut up so you could not sit on it. And most of the breakfast items were out of stock. The lady making the breakfast was very nice and the morning attendant clerk was nice. Checking in at night was not the best.
- 5/5
It was a nice clean place, breakfast was awesome!
- 1/5
It was the worse experience I have EVER had with LaQuinta. Long story short. Switched rooms 3 times due to mold and mildew smell that was in the rooms. Plus the AC was not working properly. Had to buy an air purifier as well due to me being asthmatic. The third room smelled better but was still lacking in a lot of areas. Will. It recommend at all. Go stay somewhere else
- 2/5
Furniture in lobby area beautiful..Room had strong smell..spider web in corner 2light burned out trash behind sofa..air would not blow cold air all the time.
- 3/5
They had an indoor pool, but the door to access it was very rusty and difficult to open. Then the water in the pool had slightly milky color to it as if it had not been cleaned or had some strange chemical in it. They had a bar, but it was closed.
- 2/5
Walked in and no one was at the check in counter. Waited about 5 minutes before someone came to check us in. Our room was smelly, like mildew. Closet smelled even worse. Everything in the room felt damp. Would not recommend.

It could be more cleaner the pool was dirty and the smell when u walk in was horrible

The initial check in process was good. Unfortunately, when we walked in to our room, the AC was off and the room smelled very “musky,” maybe the humidity in the room. I asked for another room and was told there were none available. As we settled in, we found a dirty area behind the 1/2 sofa with opened wrappers, gum on the wall, & the housing for the smoke detector missing. We had to go buy a can of Lysol to help with the odors for our stay.

During our recent stay, we unfortunately discovered the presence of fleas in our room. I promptly informed the front desk about this matter, and they assured me that they would contact pest control. However, despite their efforts, they were unable to provide a satisfactory solution. While I typically refrain from posting reviews, I felt compelled to share this experience to prevent similar issues from affecting future guests who may have considered staying in the same hotel. Regrettably, our much-anticipated vacation was unfortunately compromised by the presence of fleas.

Inly 2 towels for 4 people in room. No extra pillows available given pool towels to use

Would stay again before a cruise!!
- 5/5
We would definitely stay here again. Our only problem was we arrived two hours before check in time. We could check in early…for a $35 fee. Nope not doing that.

The elevator smelled so bad

Read the small print but it is a good motel

Place was good but could use some work. There was a lot of things wrong in the hotel room we stayed in.
- 4/5
Nice but room was musty
- 2/5
Floor in our room was dirty, desk clerk made it seem like it was a bother to check us in. Along with the website showing that the pool was heated. I can see if it wasn't a inside pool but it freezing on a 90° day.

Loved the indoor pool. Room was nice and clean. Staff was kind and courteous.
- 3/5
First room smelled like mold and mildew so I had asked for my room to be switched and they did, overall the stay was ok
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious! They also have Dove products!!!! And I love that for us!!!
- 4/5
The first room we were in smelled like wet carpet, we did ask to change rooms and they did move us so much better. The pool was cold, I enjoyed it but hubby not so much due to being very cold. The breakfast was very good. I would stay again.

No cleaning service and couldn’t get clean towels unless we brought them to desk ourselves. Bathroom dirty. Room smelly.
- 2/5
The walls in our room were pretty dirty. There was a really bad smell in our room and in the hallway of our room. There was like something stringy clinging to our room ceiling and wall. The room was so muggy. The sheets were a little dirty on one of the beds. We were told there were no extra pillows to give us. The breakfast was good but very limited.

Great hotel!

A great clean hotel, great location and friendly service. Only problem we had was we were skipped for room service for the 3 nights we were there. Other than that it was great!
- 2/5
We loved the location and the morning breakfast staff lady was wonderful and so helpful, bring your own trash bags and extra extra towels, beds are very firm and uncomfortable. The kids loved the pool area the water was just very cold.

We went in the room but didn't touch anything. It smelled of dog poo and mildew/mold. We went downstairs and the clerk (Stephanie) let us see if there might be a better room. Not really - so we left and found a different hotel. I left a letter for the manager, who wasn't there, for a refund. I don't know yet if it was handled or not.

Everything was great

No one monitoring the breakfast , children running all over coughing and sneezing all over the food and silverware . Asked front desk to look into it and replace the plastic ware they looked at me like I had an alien coming out of my head . Room couldn’t be cleaned unless you stay over three nights and you had to go and ask for clean towels every day . Would not recommend this property.

I would recommend

Great Property, Admirable Staff, and clean location

Ended up not staying. It was dirty.

Front desk was always very friendly and helpful, but room was musty and smelled of mildew. Breakfast was below par compared to most offerings today. The highlight was make your own waffles which were fine, but there was no fruit and the variety of hot items was limited to eggs and sausages. There just wasn’t much variety of other things such as pastries, yogurt, fruits, etc.

Very clean !

The hotel has quite a bit wear and tear on it but we survived

When I did my check in, and I went to my room. I opened the door and somebody was inside the room, He got scared and run out of the room
- 3/5
There was poop on the toilet. And brown stuff on the walls and scratches on the vanity. Plus, a lot of plates and cups were dirty as well and the microwave was dirty.
- 4/5
The room was fantastic, the bathroom was beautiful and the feel of everything was nice and clean. There was an odd smell coming from the AC unit, and the pillows were a lot more firm than I would expect, but neither were enough to really detract from the experience. The staff were great, very kind, courteous, and professional, and breakfast was delicious.

Bed bugs in room. Requested refund on room. The worse experience I have had at a hotel. I have pictures to prove it.

Nice lady at the counter

Fairly accessible even with the road reconstruction in the area. Very accessible to where i need to be in Hitchcock TX in the morning.

It was convenient to stay before cruising!

This is a five year old hotel. Everything seems new. Also the price is not high. So all my family loves it. And we stayed there one more day.
- 2/5
The room smelled horrible like dog, I went downstairs and got another room it was a handicap king room that’s all they had. I went to check it out and it smelled WORST than the original room. It smelled like feces. So I was stuck with the dog smelling room.
- 3/5
Had to wait for a while and eventually shout into some back offices to get anyone to come check us in. Room smelled odd (not good). Really nice bed. bathroom water pressure was nice. Room was stylish and comfortable despite the odd smell. Breakfast was pretty terrible, poor selection, and what they had was not cooked well.

Our stay at the La Quinta in Texas City was great. The hotel was great and the staff was professional, helpful and friendly. The desk clerk on duty around 6 pm from 9 - 12 Apr was amazing. I didn't get her name, but she went over and beyond helping us, both on the phone and in person. She should be considered for a raise. She was a great representative for your hotel.

Was chged $35. For 1 hr early ck in. Was told the door didn’t open easily which was ok but after getting settled I learned the toilet didn’t flush and no maintenance available Had the move to another room.

Good experience

All the construction.
- 5/5
It was fine just a little cosmetic things
- 5/5
Road construction took us an extra half hour of driving round and round to find this place. The building is very cold and the room thermostat was not very adjustable.
- 3/5
There was handprints on walls and no smoke detector with exposed wires where one should have been placed.
- 5/5
Nothing unique
- 4/5
We were not happy when we had breakfast and there was no regular syrup or forks to eat the food we had to use spoons to eat a waffle.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 2/5
They would not hold my bags when arrived early. It cost$59 to get my key to put bags in the room before 3. The room was 55 degrees, the pool colder and not able to use. The transport for the boat they have the card to me for went to the wrong place and did not show up.
- 3/5
We have stayed her several times before cruising and the property is starting to show some wear, the west parking lights were out making the parking lot dark on that side, the room has low water pressure, the bedside table had something on it that I had to use a wash cloth with water to scrub off, nasty! But overall it is not bad but the increase in price may make us look elsewhere in September.
- 4/5
Everything was nice. There were screaming children. I know that’s not the hotel’s fault. Liquid soap would be nice. We visited with family and I made my appointments at the medical center in Houston. Great location.
- 5/5
Nice place and had everything we needed
