The room had a foul smell and the sheets were dirty and clearly had been slept on. I went told the front desk and they gave me a different room but then the new room had dirty towels that had been use and were filthy. Will definitely never stay there again and will not advise anyone else to book there.

This particular room is in desperate need of a remodel. Everything in the room was so old and decaying.

There was a door that leads outide right next to our room. Throughout the night someone kept opening the door amd letting ppl in from the parking lot. When we drove up to check-in there was a man sitting on the side of the bldg with a 24-pk of beer, drinking. Several men sitting in their trucks as well in the parkimg lot drinking. Felt very unsafe for my daughter in-law & granddaughter

They also offer a room with a kitchenette with is more expensive but its an induction stove top so i couldnt use my pans called the front desk to ask if they had pans and they said they had 2 but it was a 50 dollar deposit to use them

Room was nice. Liked ceiling fans and larger than most fridge. Good a/c. Met our expectations for a room. Halls very musty smelling. Elevator funky smelling. Perhaps old carpeting and old duct work. Reason we left this hotel. Also very noisy since close to hwy.

The third floor is great. I’ve never stayed on the first floor but I have stayed on the second and it’s not so great at all but the third floor is newly renovated and very nice. The nighttime staff is great the daytime staff doesn’t really speak to you I would assume they are the owners, but they are Polite Although it’s a great access to get to the freeway and 225 and all of the ways that you need to go on a highway, it is in a very, very, very bad drug related area

The front desk staff at night are very kind and accommodating The area is on same street as a well known drug infested run down motel.

Stayed one night for the family Christmas party. Very friendly and cheerful staff. Older building but very clean and great for what we needed. Shipleys literally right next door. Conveniently located. Will stay again .

Hair dryer was broken, no trash bags, the mini fridge was dirty it kind of looked like they didn’t finish cleaning it there was a dirty washcloth inside… bed was clean and comfortable though but the blankets were really thin. If you’re looking for a cheap okay hotel, something decent- this is the way to go. Staff was friendly, breakfast was okay! 4/10 stay overall

Facility was nice. Location, not so much.

The price per night was the absolute best in the area. Renovations were underway so some rooms had some disrepair, like our bath tub had some rusted spots. Everything was clean, though we did find a roach in its death throes. We stayed multiple nights. We used the laundry facilities, wash was great but dryer needed 2 cycles to dry a full load. It is an extremely quiet place in spite of being at a busy intersection. Great staff and management. The latte machine was heaven sent. Overall, a great stay and the facility is being improved. Recommend now and highly recommend about 6 months from now.

The price was cheap. The hotel looks good from the outside. We rented 2 rooms. they were ok. The breakfast they only had cereal and waffles. For drinks they only had milk and coffee. There wasn't much variety. The kids ended up going to the donut store next door.

Our go to motel when we are in the Laporte area. Always have clean rooms the staff is super nice the breakfast is pretty good if you don't like it there is a Shipley's about 50 feet away

The problem we had was that the toilet was backed up and we informed management but nothing was done and no other room was offered. They told us there was no one to fix the issue.

Clean quiet and larger rooms then adverage being its an older dwelling. They offer a kitchen for guest's to prepare meals. I however didnt have a chance to take advantage of. If ever in the area in the future, I'll definantly book there again.

Room was disgustingly dirty. Husband called the front desk within minutes to let them know the room was dirty - food and hair all over the floor, stained, dirty sheets. He left, went to a better hotel, and when we tried to get a refund through Hotels.com, the hotel told them that he came in, tore the room up and got it dirty then left. I’m assuming it’s to save face since someone didn’t do their job. Look at his timeline. He checked in, called and said he wasn’t staying there because it was so dirty, then checked in at another hotel 15 minutes away, and it all happened within 20 minutes.

We were taking supplies to hurricane Laura victims, this hotel was perfect, clean, cold room, small parking lot for those pulling a trailer

The hotel is old and I guess supposedly renovated, but I couldn't even see out of the window because of build up on it There is nothing appealing about the place; only that there's a Shipley's donut shop next to it. All I could think when we drove up was "this is not for me", but it was the holiday weekend and everything reasonable was booked up or too expensive. We made the best of it, but I would not recommend to anyone

The older lady who was working the counter fixed my reservation because i accidentally booked it after midnight. I also didnt have sn id and she worked with my boyfriends ans then allowed me to pay and she was extremely accommodating and nice !

The hotel was very homie and the front desk was very personable, even though it was late at night when we checked in. Very pleasant overall experience.

Cost effective place to stay. Remote not working for TV, a lot of tape on it but still not working. Room next to metal door going to outside stairway on 3rd floor. That door was opened and slammed at least once every 30 minutes all night cheating me on some much needed sleep for 3 nights. People up all night and still going strong when I left for work each morning. Will only stay here again if I have a room away from exterior door on East side away from sun.

Decent location to surrounding attractions. Room was nice with new AC unit. Tub had been painted and was peeling but all in all it wasn’t a bad place to stay. Front desk was very nice and helpful.

Hotel was NOT fit for guests. Only 1 wash cloth, 1 towel, drip pans under the a/c. But they were sure to leave a price list for items. We left in the middle of the night. No sleep at all

Was very disappointed in this hotel.. their website is false advertising and cleaning of the room did not happen in the 3 days we were there.

The bed had a huge indentation on one side, and the carpet in the room was quite disgusting. Checked out immediately and spent the night at a different hotel.

Beds subpar. Basically spring mattress with top padding. Hotel is old but otherwise clean. Wifi spotty. Tv didn't work. Continental breakfast consists of waffles, toast or outdated cereal. Coffee and oj for drink. Staff is friendly however, they do not have much to work with

The rooms here are very poor quality. There was an overwhelming smell of mildew, mold, or something similar (I assume, due to the large discolored water stains in the ceiling); the bathroom was disgusting and looked unsanitary;the receptionist admitted that the room that I'd originally booked was "not a very nice room" and attempted to prevent me from leaving by offering to switch my reservation to one of their renovated rooms. The only good thing about the renovated room was that it didn't smell bad,so I immediately turned in the keys not even 10 min sheet I arrived and went to another hotel. No matter your financial situation, please avoid these rooms like the plague and spend a few extra dollars to stay somewhere else.

Room was clean , has fridge microwave and flatscreen tv. Great price with breakfast starting at 5am cause some people ha e to leave early for work.

staff went out of their way to meet all our needs. room was very comfortable, carpets showed normal wear, but hotel was undergoing renovation at time of our stay. breakfast was good, had waffle machine to make your own waffles and had dry cereal and toast there also. neighborhood was quiet and safe. no pests in hotel. we had a really good stay.

The in side of the hotel was clean and the out side does not look like the pictures they have on website it need painting,landscaping and window cleaning our room was very clean and nice. The staff was very nice until we was leaving the manager told the lady at the desk not to give the guess a copy of there bill with the hotel prices so we didn't get a copy of our bill.

Nice cozy hotel with a very reasonable price. There was a smell that was permeating from, I believe, the AC unit. It was a spicy smell like maybe an air freshener but it was somewhat irritating. It was the same smell in the front desk area so I don't think it was mold or stagnant water. The Tropicana in Las Vegas had a similar irritating smell. The double queen room we had was very spacious. We had more room than some higher end hotels. Basic bath and shower facilities, no frills. Looks like the hotel was fairly recently updated.

The rooms are large but could use some updates and fresh paint..beds not that comfortable but I guess when it's a two star hotel you get what ya pay for...but my biggest problem was that there was no hot water..it gets Luke warm at best.

It is an older hotel but kept up good, didn't have coffee pot in room but within 5 minutes they brought me one. Contentinal breakfast has very little selection, ladies at the front dest were very nice and helpful

The only thing clean in my room was the sheets and actually I hope they were clean. The vanity counter had hair all over it and sticky. The curtains was falling down. The floor needed vacuumed, cigarette ashes and food debris on the floor. The lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly but other than that the hotel was not clean.

The hotel itself was ok but we booked non smoking room but when we arrived they said only smoking floor was available not happy about that at all

Hotel was clean, breakfast was fine, got more towels with no problems, quiet and easy to get to from the highway, although parking spaces were small, worked for the one night we stayed.

The outside of the hotel and neighborhood is very sketchy and scary. If I hadn't been with my husband I would have turned around and left. Inside of hotel is nice enough and room was extremely and surprisingly CLEAN. Will not stay there again, was too worried about my car getting jacked while I was asleep. No phone or wifi in room

Room had an odor maybe because everything was unplug. Towels were worn out and hard. We had to how to the store and buy our own towels bc there's was mot any good. I would not stay there again. Location was great but just did not like hotel.

We had to change rooms 3 times, burn marks on bathroom counter & bed spread, holes in bathroom door and mold from A/C unit with drip pan. I took pictures of everything as proof. The coffee makers need to be replaced.

I ARRIVED AT 12PM AND TRIED TO CHECK IN TO MY ROOM, I WAS TOLD THE ROOM WOULD NOT BE READY FOR AND HOUR SO I CAME BACK IN AND HOUR AND I WAS TOLD THEY DI NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR ME AT THIS TIME AND TO CHECK BACK IN AT 5:30PM. THIS WAS SO UNACCEPTABLE, I ALREADY PAID FOR THE ROOM. ALSO THE LOBBY WAS FILTHY, THE ATTENDANT BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH AND THE SMELLS IN THE LOBBY WERE VERY BAD.
