Well I arrived early and was told I couldn't check in early but he changes his mine only to be put in a room where the heater didn't work on top of that it kind of felt like I was staying Joe's apartment not sure if you've seen the movie but yeah there's more than a few roaches that Don't mind showing theirselves in the daytime

Management was horrible. Our AC broke and he came in to fix it. three times and given the same code, error refused to put it in another room while my kids and dog and wife set a 90° room finally he decided to give us a sloping room. My wife refused because we have two children with asthma. They proceeded to argue with my wife call her names and then eventually came back to the roof and a new key to another room except do not extend your stay. You guys are no longer welcome to all because the facility could’ve maintain their AC units. This is very discouraging being a customer. Never have I ever seen such in inhumanity unprofessionalism. For customer service would offer us a refund. They said it would take 7 to 10 business days. We can’t afford that somebody apple.com. Please help if I could just get five nights credited to my Booking.com account. I will pick elsewhere to stay.

Room was excellent except for the floor! For whatever reason, the floor sweated and there was water on the floor. Quiet a bit!

It was extremely dirty. The floors were so bad that my grandson‘s feet were black. The sheets were damp & felt dirty., although They looked clean. We stayed here before and that experience was good. It was not so good this time.

Great location The mold over the shower in room 121 and the floor was Sweaty I almost bust my ass going to the restroom. The fact that it was our second time coming and each time we had to switch rooms either the heater didn’t work in Rm# 217 and 219 had holes in the room , then the second time 219 toilet was broke and 121 floor was a mess .

Clean ass super clean. I was super surprised to find a stove top not that I used it, but really cool. Really close access to the beach. Hotel is lit up like a Christmas tree at night as well. I felt very safe there.

The best part of this property was the fact that I felt at home and it was inexpensive. The dog was safe I was safe. It's a big room for the price you pay. Don't expect much but if you don't expect much you'll be great. My only suggestion is bring your own toiletries. Guest service sucks but just understand that. And you'll be fine.

Ugly

Hotel was completely closed work no power and nobody on site but listed as available rooms. I went to check in and found out that way. I had already paid and contacted customer support and was told I might get a refund after 72 hours once they investigate. I had nowhere to go for me and my children do to a false listing on hotels.com

The room was very nice and clean and spacious. The air conditioner worked very well. When I check in the young lady was nice. But the only thing I didn't like was the microwave in the room was dirty dirty dirty. Overall I will stay again and hopefully the microwave be cleaned.

They have uploaded wrong pictures to attract the customers but when we reach the location, there was nothing as per pictures. We booked the hotel for 2 days and we have to leave next morning without spending more time in galveston.

It was super quiet. A lot of light outside. Felt safe. Easy to get to. A lot of places to eat around there.

Nice quote place and the front desk is always friendly and helpful and let’s not forget about the housekeepers they are just as friendly and helpful our stay was fantastic we will stay here again no doubt it’s the best one in town 😁😁😁

I liked that I could check in at anytime without the risk of losing my reservation. Our room was missing the coffee pot and the remote batteries were dead had to change the channel by hand on the tv set.

AFTER REFUSING TO PAY HIM FOR A ROOM I ALREADY PAID FOR VIA EXPEDIA HE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME “ IF YOU CHECK BACK IN TOMORROW I WILL NOT REASSIGN YOUR KEY “ . SO OUT OF THE $200 I ALREADY SPENT IN 3 DAYS , HIM BEING MONEY HUNGRY TRYING TO FORCE ME TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $30 BASICALLY FOR A KEY CARD TO THE PAID FOR ROOM THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN REASSIGNED T W I C E ! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE JUST TO BE HARASSED !

Manager of Regency Inn cancelled the reservation because we questioned a $50.00 fee they wanted to add on at the time of check in. With no warning at all. Very unpleasant, rude and unprofessional of them. And they kept one night’s stay when we went to cancel. There are much nicer hotels than this for the same price. Will dispute this charge with credit card company.

Construction everywhere sprained my ankle on a drop off and my foot went through the wood and almost fell from the second floor because the railing bowed out because it was not anchored to the bottom

The grounds were spotless. Well kept. The building is old. But being worked on. The reception area was neat and clean. Very friendly owner checked me in. My check-in was fast, simple, smooth. My room was clean, the furniture was in great shape. The bed and bedding were in great shape. Both were clean and looked new. No orders in the room whatsoever. The bathroom was superb and looked great. Totally remodeled and not a stain nor spot anywhere. The shower curtain looked new. The plumbing and appliances all worked. I got a room with a massive whirlpool/hot tub and it was phenominal. The hot tub was spotless and replete with complimentary towels, soaps, lotions and shampoos. The area is safe, and parking lot well lit. This hotel is surrounded by every sort of service, food, retail store imaginable. Just a two minute drive from the front door. There were no insects of any type in my room. No bed bugs. No spiders. They really nuked this room for pests!!!! There was no furniture at all in this room except for the sesh which was wholly taken up by the huge tv. There were no loud noises during the day nor night. Except once, when some clown sat in his truck and blasted "Music" for an hour. I called the manager to intervene but he understandably cowered out of the task. My only complaint was one ghetto white chick who stood outside smoking all day, lound on the phone. And louder talking to her "hommies."

Room was large but in desperate need of updating. The clerk was very helpful and did advise that the whole hotel would be going through a major update in the next few months. The room was clean though.

New management was AMAZING will def go back hopefully pool will be open next time.. house keeping was super nice and good for us as well...

Toilet was stopped up, walks looked like alot of water damage fridge in room was so rusty, room needs alot of TLC . People above us had 5 + kids in there room hours of running stomping just over all very loud unfortunately we had no phone in room to call office so had to look them up took several times calling before anyone answered was not happy with this stay, pool was not open no breakfast like advertised

And there was a weird guy, Filming my girlfriend and myself as we were leaving to go get food. Called the office about it, they said it was nothing and that the man was a “worker and that he was nice” absolutely ridiculous not the worst place I’ve stayed but definitely top 10 category of NEVER AGAIN

Extremely old property. Cheap is good but please update everything. No covering on bathroom lights was moldy and gross! Cockroaches and bugs! Sick!

The property is in poor condition. The paint is peeling inside & out. The water nozzle was broken in the shower & we had to be moved. A downstairs room was requested but we were told none were available. We were moved to a downstairs room but the AC did not cool properly. We didn’t eat the continental breakfast since there wasn’t a single protein offered.

We were very happy with our stay here. Yes, it could use some updating and a better continental breakfast-had apples, cereal, instant oatmeal, white toast, & waffles-but for a no-frills motel, it was good. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Shower head wasn’t adjustable and it was a hard 3-stream jet spray but it worked. I would definitely recommend this motel!!

I normally take some inconveniences however everything was an inconvenience! No clean sheets, they actually had stains, no room service as they thought the do not disturb sign was posted on room but was not. The sign was posted on the room across the hall. By the time the management figured out the issue, the maid staff were gone. We had to retrieve our own towels for bathing and the pool had an odor, not of chlorine and was strange shade of green. Worst hotel stay ever. If you could remove this from the selection future guest would be better served.

Mediocre hotel

Beds were hard, staff was rude, rooms were supposed to be non smoking, but had cigarette burns in blankets.

Very outdated, dirty, and falling apart, bad service, and sketchy, would never stay agian.

Took 20min to get the clerk to ley me in so i could check in. Tried to charge me again. Said i had to call expedia because the room wasnt paid for. I ended up leaving Sat evening. I paid for 2 nights and only stayed in the room a few hours. I will never use this service again

Old hotel needs a facelift but if you need a reasonable place to stay for a night or two its ok

The room was convenient, comfortable, and clean. We were only there for the night. But I would recommend this location. It’s not far from the beach and shopping and restaurants.

I did not care for this hotel. Though the room looked clean, it did not 'feel' clean. The sheets felt as if there was a film on them, so subsequently I did not rest well. I will not visit them again.

Requested a non smoking room that smelled like cigarettes, Low on housekeepers, just overall a bad experience

First off, DO NOT use Expedia's map directions to hotel. It sends you to WRONG location. Once we firgured out where hotel was, it was ok. Check in was weird. We checked in at 10:50pm but got an email earlier in day saying we checked in at 8pm. Area looked rough...THREE cop cars pulled up as we got there but you get what you pay for. Room was clean for most part but we found bubbles in drawer. Wonder how clean it was. Free breakfast was sad looking. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay the night, not more.

This is more like an apartment complex! People with BBQ pits (which is a fire hazard) and stereos set up outside. Completely rude and no regard to people around. I would never stay here again!

I went there with my mother, and 2 baby daughters. There was a creepy guy stalking us, from when we were parking to we went inside into our room. After we noticed he was gone I went to move our truck and as I passed a room right next to the stairway, there he was standing with his hands on the window (freaked me out), I found a closer spot to our room, and as I was walking back to my room, there he was again by the rail watching me until I went in My room. We felt unsafe even after, locking the door and putting the couch blocking the door. Then my mother went to sit down on the chair and it broke causing her to fall and hurt herself bad. They were stingy with towels, and the cleaning lady tried to get us to leave on the first morning. We had to explain more than a few times that our stay was for 2 days, and that we just got there the night before. Their phone didn't work either. I definitely won't be coming back and I don't recommend anybody go there, speciallyif you're a woman with children.

Not a bad hotel for the price we paid however restroom needed a lot bit of an upgrade! A peeling worn out toilet seat with chipping missing toilet roll holder with rusting and a used toilet paper roll chilling on the toilet the shower curtain looked like it was about to come off the walls and had obvious repairs and patches in the wall that weren’t repainted other then that it was clean and ok for the price we paid! bed was not bad and semi appealing (note: I still brought my own blanket and pillow!! ) but nice staff and ok for its cheap price

Asked for a non smoking cuz my son has asthma and my room smelled like cigarette they did not want to change us until the next day and front office worker went to check my room at 1am while I was in shower he knocked on door but mi kids didn't open cuz I told them not to open door to anyone while I showered so worker just got in and scared my kids then insisted on talking to me while I was in shower I tough that was very disrespectful.

The room seemed cleaned until we went to sleep. Within minutes of turning out the lights to sleep, the bed bugs came out. I videoed the bugs and went to the front desk. They told me that I could get a refund through hotels.com, because I went through them for booking. Hotels.com called them and they admitted to the bugs, but wouldn't refund the money. Thankfully, hotels.com refunded my money any way. These people are dishonest and infested with bed bugs.
