Most beautiful property! We were in town for our cruise! Our experience with this hotel was nothing short of amazing! If we ever venture across to the Galveston area again, we will surely stay at this location!

For the price the property was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good with many different options.

The staff were nice and helpful for the most part .breakfast was nasty but it was free .the pool was closed due to maintenance .it was just ok.

We arrived an hour before check-in at 3:00, but they were so gracious and allowed us to check in early. Everyone at property was super helpful and kind. The hotel was quiet. Our room was clean, as well as the entrance, the pool area, the workout room, and breakfast area. Breakfast was great! The gentleman servicing the area was attentive to cleaning quickly after folks finished and keeping hot food fresh. We came for the Strawberry Festival in Pasadena. This was the perfect place--not much traffic (compared to many places), and it only took us 15 minutes to get to the Festival on Saturday. We also went to Sylvan Beach/State Park, which only took 10 minutes. It was clean, relatively quiet, and a real family atmosphere. We'll be back!

Breakfast buffet was great although missing bacon. Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and A/c actually did what it was supposed to do. Great location. Easy on and off of hwy 146 and set far enough back so traffic can barely be heard. Pool area was nice with convenient restrooms pool side. Will stay here again when visiting area.

The toilet in room 414 was not flushing properly. It took 2-3 times to wait for the water to refill in the toilet to flush it again before the water ran clean. I told two ladies at the front desk about this but it wasn't rectified.

Wonderful property! Good breakfast including waffles and flesh fruit. The nicest people work at this property! Clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect. The desk clerk gave us a free upgrade to a king suite. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the shower gel bottle was completely empty and we were there during a major rain storm. One window leaked profusely and looked like the leak had been there a long time. I definitely recommend this property and would absolutely stay there again!

The only negative I found was the need for more soundproofing between the bathrooms in adjoining rooms. I could hear the urinating of the male occupant next door and I don't have very good hearing.

Breakfast was great. I didn't see the cleaning person but they did an excellent job with cleaning and even straightening my personal items so neatly. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very personable as well.

Clean convenient hotel with god size rooms. Free parking and a good size pool. Location isn’t particularly walkable to anything other than food places and a bar. Great if you are driving though.

Parking lot needs to be pressure washed. Staff is excellent. Water pressure in shower was low. Room deodorant was strong. Hallways by rooms was warm. Rooms air-conditioning works well. Refrigerator froze most items.

I would like to personally thank the desk assistant Melinda and the kitchen cook Connie. Melinda went up and beyond to make sure we got checked in with little to no hassle in my part. She handled the issues that came up with a smile and assistance with a smile and warm welcoming. Connie made sure my kids were happy and well feed before we continued on our vacation. Will recommend this property. I definitely give it a 10/10.

I had a great experience during my visit! The rooms were clean and the hotel smelt clean too. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I love that there was free breakfast, although i wish they had more options. Overall, everything was great and would come and stay again!

Love staying here the night before we cruise out of Galveston. It’s comfortable, clean, and close to a store and restaurants. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. This was our 2nd time staying here and we again for our next cruise.

Hampton Inn , La Porte, Tx was wonderful. It was a newer property and was very clean. I was greeted by three friendly front desk staff whom made me feel very welcomed. Breakfast was wonderful and the wonderful lady in charge of food service was exceptional.

Property is in a very convenient location and in good condition. Staff was extraordinary. Shanon was very nice and helpful. She provided us with excellent dining suggestions and even printed our cruise boarding passes. Wonderful person!

There was a concern that the building was shaking. We lived on the 4th floor, rm 421 and visually felt the building shaking around 10:30 am in the morning. Spoke to the Manager and she said she has experienced that herself. She said Engineering has looked into this and has not found the issue yet. We had said to her there is construction being done on the sides of the building (could this be the root cause.

This Hampton Inn was very clean and well maintained, and the staff I dealt with were pleasant. The only downside to the hotel is that it's located amidst a bunch of warehouses. If you're looking for a clean comfortable place to stay for a night and don't care about a scenic view, it's a good choice.

Did not notice easy options for dining out

The best part was the breakfast! The lady in the breakfast area was the best. The staff was very nice, except for a blonde older lady in reception. When we arrived it was early so our room wasn't ready, we asked if there was a space to leave our suitcases and she abruptly said No. Told us to come back at 3pm, which we did and the room was still not ready, and the again in a bad tone told us to sit and wait. The hotel was practically empty, so we didn't understand the delay. Apart from that blonde lady, the rest of the staff was incredibly accommodating.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise departing from Galveston. The lady working at the counter was very welcoming and helpful! The room was comfortable and very quiet! We found the continental breakfast above average. Again we were warmly greeted and asked several times if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Pros: The complimentary breakfast and service were outstanding. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Location was very convenient for our visit. Elevator was prompt. Decor is warm and pleasant. Cons: Walls are VERY thin. I could hear every conversation next door and in the hallway. Bathroom is very nice, but desperately needs a vent. I would stay here again and recommend it to others, too.
