Possible due to Expedia. Breakfast non existent the room was smelly and not a regular room view of parking lot I would never have booked and paid $289 which they told me they’d comp because I was so unhappy they didn’t comp me so lied about that. Would never stay there again. Beware and never stay in room 19 unless you need wheel chair access. Very very disappointed with hotel and Expedia

The lake front location is the prime benefit and check-in went smoothly. But it’s very old and I was disappointed right away driving in. Very small parking places. We had glass blocking back patio of room so couldn’t walk out to pool without going around…probably because small pool within steps of room. Train blew horn at 7am and was only 100 yards from room and very loud. It needs to be entirely renovated for the price they charge. The room was clean and beds and pillows were pretty comfortable, but there was no soap in dispenser and very small kitchenette. No closet or even hook to hang clothes. Like joining a dating site and person you’re looking at online posts a photo looking 25 but is actually much older when you get to the date.

We have never stayed at a property that didn't have a closet or at least a place to hang clothes up. The water in the shower could not be made to a comfortable temperature, it was either scalding hot or cold. They said they had old plumbing but I also heard the hotel had been recently remodeled. If you were a normal sized person there is no way you could sit on the toilet.

Sadly this property is dated, tired, and in need of an overhaul. The floor was uneven, sliding door to the balcony didn’t , tv service was down, and the room smelled of mildew. That is just a sample. Staff were nice enough and location is great. No area in the bathroom (pedestal sink) to put my makeup and skincare. I do not recommend.

Great location for Lewis & Clark. Service is excellent! Hotel is a bit dated. While generally very clean the hotel does have a musty smell probably due to its proximity to the Lakefront. Beautiful views!

The hotel is in a great location. And has an amazing view. Their next to a pretty big shopping center and lots of restaurants. And just about 20 minutes to anywhere without traffic. Only downside is the room did have a funny smell, but it didn't bug us that much. They did have a heated pool and they do allow pets. And their breakfast is just a continental breakfast, but you have to get your breakfast early or they run out of pastries.

Misled on the booking through expedia. I thought I was getting a view room. The staff explained that when you book on Expedia or a third party, you are not guaranteed a view room. The view of the lake and proximity to food and bev (while being quiet) is unparalleled. The soaking tub, divine. A few small things: the toilet was oddly positioned and would have been an issue for someone taller, there was no counter/shelf/table for toiletries and the airconditioning/hearing system was not streamlined or whisper-quiet. Oh, waterfront balcony, though, did i mention?

The location was great - close to cute shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. The beds and bedding were wonderful, very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and I loved the balcony. The reason I’m not giving it a higher rating is because we were met with a strong pungent odor immediately. To me, it smelled like wet dog (and I love dogs, have always had them). Other people who were also staying here for the same wedding said it smelled musty. I’m not talking a little musty; I’m talking “how many zombies are hiding in here” musty. My friend and I spent our own money buying scented cones, air fresheners, and disinfectant spray trying to get rid of the smell. Eventually it got bearable- whether the products we bought worked or I just got used to it I don’t know. Oh and we did complain to management and asked for other rooms but they were booked (and honestly hearing that others who stayed here, away from my friend and me, had the same problem I doubt changing rooms would have helped). I understand someone just bought the property and they’re working on the issue, however I only found that out by reading a similar negative review and that was their response. It would have been nice if they got back to my friend and me WHILE WE WERE THERE about the smell (after they promised they would) rather than give radio silence. But I guess trying to squelch a negative review online is more motivation to respond than attending to a customer’s concerns in real time.

Our Family rented rooms for 4 nights in this hotel due to the location and nice pictures online. .However, we were very disappointed with the unpleasant smell in our rooms. I spoke to the front desk nicely more than once about the time and money spent trying to get rid of the pet odor . No response . Was very surprised no one from management even acknowledged our concerns. I am not one to write a negative review , However, I have never had this happen to me in all my travels .

I found this "gem" to stay at for my niece's wedding.. I was so excited by the photos and description that I referred it to other family members going to the wedding. Lake Front rooms...yes please! Kitchenette to eat on our own balcony... yes please!Complimentary breakfast.. yes yes yes please ! Kind staff... yes please!~ It checked all the boxes... until... We packed up our paddle boards and hauled them 4 hours on the freeway to find out that yes, lakefront... no you can not get in it... it's all a private lake so no access for the guest.. 😳... What? that's like being presented w chocolate cake and having it taken away before eating a bite... Not even a toe is allowed in, I was told there would be a huge fine! Okay, we will make food and enjoy the view.. Yes, kitchenette... no plates or utensils! Calling the front desk thinking that my room maybe was looked over... nope, I was told after the "remodel" that it was decided to not stock the rooms with this.. ?????...(then why have cabinet space for it and a kitchenette ?) I literally ate my veggies on a towel and had to take home all the food I bought that day. Okay, Ill wait for breakfast... It's included ! ummm... can you say sugary muffin, small OJ and REALLLLY bad coffee... Staff seemed super grumpy but hey... my niece got married, at least there was food and happy people there..

This is like a Motel 6 on the lake. It is very noisy and outdated. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you and above and below, and anyone in the halls outside your room. A train runs right by the property and wakes you up at 4am. The staff is very rude and not once in a 5 night stay did we get our room cleaned or clean towels. The rooms are dark - especially the ones on the ground level. For the same price, we could have stayed in a nice hotel, but didn’t want to stay downtown Portland. The property is extremely run down. It’s a great setting on the lake and close to shops and restaurants, but the bad far outweighs the good.

The Inn has charm being on the lake and the cute mini pool. It sort of reminded me of a hotel you’d find in Mexico with the outdoor elevator and open air stairs. The rooms are dated but clean. What a pleasant surprise. Tucked behind a rather shabby office building, the room and location turned out to be excellent. Exceptionally clean and well ordered, the room was much larger than expected with a separate bedroom, living area, and even a small kitchenette (a very pleasant surprise). The deck was a lovely place to sit and watch the activity on the nearby plaza and trails as well as the small lake arm. A delightful getaway with easy access to myriad shops and dining.

I did really like our stay here. The walls are pretty thin so we could hear our neighbors through the night. The bedding‘s were clean but this is just a little bit of an older hotel. If you come without that expectation, I don’t think there is going to be issues. The amenities were great and being so close to great food and drink.

Have stayed here before. It seems to have been remodeled so it is very nice , much newer and it's in the perfect location

Loved the view and location! It was so easy to check in and out. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Great place.

Loved this location! Enjoyed sitting on balcony overlooking water with coffee in morning. Little kitchenette area was well suppplied so making breakfast, lunch prep easy. Only downfall is it is along railroad tracks (but aesthetically pleasing) and 3 trains passed during the night blowing very loud horns. "My cousin Vinny style" needless I would stil stay here again.
