Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver Southwest/Lakewood

We have stayed several times! This most recent was with our Marley dog! The staff was so sweet and accommodating! Room was so clean and had everything we needed. When I needed fresh towels they showed up! Everyone in the hotel loved Marley! We will absolutely be back!!

We thought it was a great place to stay, and the breakfast was the best I have had in years.

Amazingly clean! The rooms we the cleanest we’ve stayed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with great variety as well. Highly recommend! And would definitely stay here again.

Nice, if somewhat outdated hotel. The staff at reception was very nice and helpful. I can't say the same about the breakfast staff, that also has the most disappointing food of my trip.

Love this place to stay

As of now, it has the facade of a Fairfield, but still the body & soul of a 1985 Holiday Inn. They're working on it though. Our AC didn't work, so they had to move us. The breakfast is sustenance, but not much more. If you want your Marriott points you can no longer book through a third party or app. The staff was awesome though.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. I travel often, and for the price, this hotel is amazing. It was super clean and all of the staff are very kind and helpful. The kitchen staff are so sweet as well as the front desk. I will definitely stay here again next summer!

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Pillows were very thin but I asked for a few extra and received them right away. Breakfast was good but I found the scrambled eggs to be disappointing. They had a fritatta one morning that was very tasty. Pool was nice but could have been manually vacuumed (the robot vacuum didn't do a very good job). But the pool was still refreshing. I also loved the filtered water fountain in the gym.

Traveled for concert at empower. Not a bad drive downtown and back. Very quiet hotel!

Close to Red Rocks. Was clean nothing extravagant but worth staying for two nights.

All was good, save the "desk chair" in the room. For a desk chair that had no wheels and was too heavy to easily slide on the carpet made it awkward to slide in and out while working at the desk.

Refrigerator was on a timer, did not keep cold.

Hotel was okay. Clean, but some rust stains around the shower head in the bathroom. The coffee was not good. Conveniently located and bed was comfortable

The staff is very friendly and our room was clean! They offered some of the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! We stayed here for a concert in red rocks and would totally recommend to anyone else doing the same.

It was nice accommodating the office nice I mean, like the rooms were nice. They weren’t exactly what I thought they were gonna be like, but they were nice.

Great breakfast

Hotel was located in a quiet yet convenient area and was close to many stores and restaurants. Room was updated and clean. Beds were comfortable but pillows went flat when used. The hotel itself is wonderfully retro but nicely updated and maintained. Appreciate that parking was free but the parking lot seemed to barely fit all the cars of the folks staying however we did find a spot every night. Breakfast was included and was a bit above the standard fare- liked the crustless quiche! Staff was fair. Most were nice but could do with some better customer service training to come off as more professional and personable. Stayed for 2 nights. Met our needs for location, price and comfort. Good choice for concert at Red Rocks.

Unfortunately, we had gone to bed and, we could smell burning in our room. We called the front desk but, nobody seemed to rush to see. We called down again and we were offered another room (they said the smell was possibly dust burning off the aircon!). The other room was better as it was on the quiet side but, the trailing lead that supplied the bedside light and charging point, was faulty. The Lady from the front desk came up again but could not remedy. We decided sleep was more important than the lead as there were other sockets.

One of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel ever. Lots of variety. Has laundry. Comfortable beds and pillows

Very comfortable room included refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave and streaming TV. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good too. The parking is troublesome. We came in late from a concert and had to park in the back of the building. The access to get inside could be signed better.

The pool was not open for Memorial Day weekend.

The staff was wonderful but the rest of the property leaves a bit to be desired. The property is outdated, very noisy both from thin walls and windows, and the breakfast is quite poor.

Last minute stay for a show at Red Rocks. Quiet, clean and spacious room. Left early before breakfast so can't speak to that. Simple stay that was not overpriced.

Stayed there for 5 nights Asked and called and they never sent anybody or said they went home early and had no one so they had me stack garbage outside the room so gross and really a whole week and couldn’t send somebody Called staff multiple times were rude or unhelpful Wish I could give 0 stars if you want a basic room and almost 0 amenities than stay here Than had a scheduled maintenance for the air conditioning units and told no one The breakfast was ok nice to have a bagel to start the day

When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. It took 15 minutes and a phone call to the corporate office for someone to show up. She was out in the parking lot cleaning up glass. In her defense, she can't be in two places at the same time. There should have been a second staff member on the property to assist with maintenance issues. When we got to our room, it smelled of smoke and I requested another room, which was accommodated right away. Overall, the property had good amenities, breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. My only suggestion is to make sure it is properly staffed to work through those moments when something happens. It won't pull the front desk staff from doing their job.

The hotel overall was clean and super convenient for our trip to Red Rocks, however our room smelled like a litter box. The cat urine smell was very pungent and made our stay there undesirable.

The location was prefect and the staff were very nice. However we did have issues with 2 rooms and ended up having to move to 3 different rooms. The staff was accommodating but it was still very frustrating and time consuming. Also the mountain view did not give you a view of anything but a tree and the parking lot! The breakfast was delicious and if you're planning to go to a concert this is the right place for you.

Great place to stay near Red Rocks!

Susie at the front desk was so good, very friendly and efficient, making check in quick and easy. She also offered great recommendations for local restaurants and handled a very busy check in time flawlessly. The breakfast team was working so hard to keep everything clean, stocked, and orderly, all while staying smiling and friendly to guests. One gentleman tending to the tables was truly a standout, although we did not get his name. The hotel itself was clean and had all the necessary items we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The location was very convenient to everything we needed to get to. Kudos to your team, they are a great representation of your hotel and management. Special compliments to housekeeping as well for doing such a great job. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience thanks to a hardworking team and a well run property.

One of the loudest hotels I've ever stayed in. Anytime the room fan would shut off i would wake up to slamming doors or other loud noises. Super thin walls, everything else was fine though!

One particular desk person was rude the evening of 4/30 when asking for assistance with the wi-fi; otherwise, everything was great.

Checkin took a long time after we were given a room with one bed despite asking for two. Then one person at front desk helped someone on the phone for about 15 mins before another employee finally showed up to help the long line that had formed. Towels had long dark hair on them. Sink wouldn't drain. Cups and tissues weren't restocked when the room was cleaned. Water pressure in shower was weak. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good.

The beds are soooo hard and the pillows flatten to nothing as soon as you lay your head on them. The room was clean the television was good with streaming apps. The breakfast was pretty good. The hot water on the 4th floors takes a while to heat up.

The bed was not comfortable and the bedding was very old and lumpy. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open and slammed shut on its own, had to prop open with a waste basket.

I stay here about every other month. Clean hotel, easy to get in and out of, parking is kinda limited, staff is solid/kind and helpful. Would recommend for anyone (single, couple or family) - near several commercial dining options we are all familiar with. I’ll be back and I recommend for reasons listed.

Different experience. They were stains on the carpet in two places that were visible. If I can see them, housekeeping can see them as well. The bath towels seemed subpar, and even one of the bath towels was afraid along the edges and should’ve been removed during the folding process of the laundry. There were also a few stains on the hand towel, which again should’ve been removed during the folding process of laundry. Breakfast was delicious as always!!

We are on the 4 th floor. Our room is very noisy due to the center AC units located directly above the top floor. I think more than half of 4th floor rooms are noisy. The staff is under staffed and is unable to find another room due to she needs to answer other calls consistently. The bed is too soft. The vent in the bath room looks very dirty.

Looked decent and they were nice Got bit multiple times while sleeping resulting in welts and being extremely itchy and swollen. Very uncomfortable couldn’t sleep at all.

Great property. Great location. Older blonde woman working breakfast was rude. Numerous kids and adults had no shoes on just socks for breakfast, but she made a point to single me out. My boots were muddy so I just wore my socks too. Didn’t go back for breakfast the next day. Just checked out and left.

Our stay was amazing! The front desk was very accommodating to any requests I had. Very friendly overall. Once entering the room you could tell it was very clean.

My only regret is that we were at the end of a very long hallway and did not receive housekeeping services multiple days because they had not reached our room by the time we came back in the afternoon. However, when asked for extra towels and for them to take the soiled ones, the housekeepers were very accommodating. It is an extremely large property, so maybe they need more housekeeping staff.

Every thing is excellent. Only concern is their pillows. It’s too soft that your head digs into it and flattens immediately as lay ur head. I actually woke with neck pain and headache

I had an amazing stay, all around

The negatives centered around the bathroom- there was very inconsistent hot water and the shower did not drain sufficiently so we had to constantly turn the faucet on and off as to not overflow the shower. We raised these issues with the staff and they submitted a ticket to their maintenance team. We were informed the water temperature varies depending on guest capacity and proximity to boiler.

Clean room, friendly staff, the only thing is the staff didn't put any trashbags in the trashcans in the room, but the front desk was able to assist me with getting some.

The room was very nice. Breakfast had good choices. The only complaint is the poor bathroom lighting. So dark in there it is hard to see when doing make-up and hair.

Breakfast was on point!

The hotel is really beautiful with a grand central foyer. My room was very pleasant, just as pictured on the website, a space that I truly enjoyed being in when there. The bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows and pretty bedding. Large screen TV across from the bed. Excellent bathroom. A coffee machine with coffee and decaf choices and small refrigerator were an added bonus. There was a generous breakfast with a good variety of choices. The dining room was very pleasant. The reception staff were all excellent. I couldn't have been more satisfied considering the reasonable nightly rate. There was a $3.93 per night parking charge, which apparently is now quite common in the Denver area.

The hotel was attractive, the rooms were big, clean and well maintained. Breakfast area was well stocked and would provide something for everyone. The hotel rooms were quiet.

Older property, decently kept. Was surprised to be charged parking when the lot was full all nights, and sharing with a busy restaurant ?! Not sure how that is allowed. Otherwise, it was nice to have free breakfast, I don’t eat much and oatmeal is typically not in restaurant menus, so I appreciated that.

The room was clean and neat but there was trash bags missing and hand soap. Also the heater was a bit troublesome to use. We stayed 3 nights.

Kimberly checked us in early. She was super nice, one of the nicest hotel staff we have encountered. She gave us welcome bottled waters and popcorn. There's a coffee maker & a small fridge w/o a freezer in the room. Love the breakfast set up. They have 3-4 hot item, breads, yogurt, juices, dairy & nondairy milks, 2 Belgian waffle makers, 3 types of fresh fruits, 3 types of cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, & coffee. There is ample seating just in front of the breakfast buffet/dining room, so you'll have no problem finding a table & chairs, and you can spread out while enjoying breakfast. Last but not least, I love the gym with 24 hour access. It has elliptical machines, treadmills, free weights, & 2 weight benches, adequate for a full workout.

Seems really cheap and miserly to me.

We spent two nights wide awake because of the noise level. The second night, we had no heat because the heater was broken. The front desk provided extra blankets.

The restroom walls and floor were dirty. The restroom sink smelled of sewage and wouldnt drain properly. Restroom faucet was loose. Many outlets and ac panel were not mounted straight which gives the impression that the rooms were thrown together without attention to detail.

When I asked for water at the check-out counter, the staff member dismissively pointed toward the gym, even though there was a water jar sitting right in front of him. He flat-out said he didn’t want to refill it. There was no one else waiting behind my family, so it’s not like he was busy. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable and shows zero respect for guests.

The only issue we had was our bathtub drain was stopped up when we arrived. We called the front desk the first night (after 5) and no one was available for them to send. The next morning we called back down and the front desk sent someone up

Great hotel and staff very kind. Only dislike, bathroom door. Sounds strange but bathroom door was like an entry door and without propping, closed tightly and loud. Almost felt like going into a shelter (storm bunker) even if just grabbing tissue for your nose.

Our stay was great overall besides one of the employees went completely psycho destroyed the entire breakfast area on our last day so we were unable to get breakfast before we had to do a 9hr drive back home.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. Breakfast had good options. Staff is friendly and check in is quick. Lots of options for dining in the area and the area seems safe, although we only stayed on night.

There was a foul smell around the outside of the hotel for brief periods of time. Surrounding area appeared amd felt safe. Many amenities withing 2-3 miles. My only complaint is that our room was serviced 1 time during a 6 day stay and we had made 2 different requests during our stay to have our room serviced.

Room had random stains on carpet and on the comforter on bed. Shower had a hole in it and the shower faucet was leaking around the head, shower doors were also broken.

It was excellent, the staff was friendly and accommodating to all our needs. We’ll be staying there again next year !

This hotel is worth every penny I paid for. The room is spacious, nice and clean, the breakfast is super good, a lot varieties to choose from, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Property was updated. Rooms were clean. Service was good. Bed aren’t the most comfortable ones we’ve slept on. But for a few days they worked. For another quick trip to Denver, I’m sure we’d stay here again.

Overall it was good for our stay, there was no longer parking on the property. We had to park in the next parking lot over.

The staff was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was clean throughout. However, the room layout left a lot to be desired. There was virtually nowhere to unpack our clothes, and we has only two small carry-ons. There was one very small dresser with drawers so low profile they were useless. There were no suitcase stands in the room. The best storage was under the bathroom sink, but that was not practical.

Location was great. Some maintenance issues: clogged sink, flickering light in bathroom, had to have breaker reset in hall and bathroom area of the room

Stayed here for a night when in town for concert at Red Rocks, which was a less than 30 min drive (with traffic). Nothing special about the area, but the hotel was nice and clean, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was ready when we arrived in the early afternoon which was really appreciated!

This was a convenient location within 15 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater which is the reason we stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms were clean, site offered a little convenience store, complimentary lime water at the front desk, friendly staff. We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Rooms were clean, plenty of hot water, big king size bed. Parking was always available. Close by to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops. Easy on and off the freeway.

My elderly mother and I stayed here and we needed a walk in shower for her. Originally, they had reserved an “accessible” room for us with a bathtub and although they were mostly full, the front desk clerk did a great job in shuffling rooms not yet taken to get us the walk in shower we needed for my mother. The staff was excellent, room next to elevator, very clean and quiet and although they offered breakfast, we didn’t get up in time to enjoy it.

On the positive side, the breakfast provided each morning was nice. The staff working the front desk and breakfast were very friendly.
