Ahern Hotel Las Vegas

The room was exactly as pictured. Very roomy and the experience of my stay of 2 nights was great. The free breakfast was so delicious. I would totally stay here again and bring my family next time we visit. Customer service and everyone that worked the hotel were all so nice and professional. All American cafe, the waiters/waitresses and bartenders were all so nice.

Perfect pricing for a quick getaway. A few minutes away from the strip.

Nice stay and cheaper than most. Not the place to stay if you want to hang out there all day, but not bad if you just need a room to sleep and get ready for Vegas like most people. They only clean your room if you ask a day ahead, and the pink window tint is different for sure. Your kids will be bored there, unless they are there to be at a convention on site they are there to be at. The small oval pool is for DJ parties and not for swimming like you'd think. Worth the stay if you don't care about some amenities and don't bring the kids.

I couldn't say enough positive things about this property. I will stay again, and refer to everyone. I've lived in Las Vegas and stayed in many hotels, this hotel was spotless. The corners were clean the baseboards were clean. The restaurant and food was great especially the free breakfast in the morning which is something you don't see in Las Vegas these days. The little coffee shop upstairs has excellent coffee and pastries. Nothing was priced so high that you had to do without. It was a great experience to stumble upon this hotel and I could not find a single thing to complain about the entire stay LOL. We look forward to our next visit.

Nothing much to comment on, basic hotel with less than basic amenities. Pizza shop was closed but was told to order food at the bar next door, went in and stood at the bar for 15 min and no one ever came over so I left and went to eat elsewhere. Coffee shop was never opened up until the morning we left, coffee was meh and food choices were cold even just out the microwave. I could of got a hotel on the strip with better amenities and for about $130 less for my 3 day stay but I decided to stay here because the pictures looked promising but I was let down as soon as I walked in. On the up side the room and common areas were clean, had a view of some apartments and trash in alleys but I guess that’s what I guess for staying off the strip. Cars and motorcycles were cool to look at for about 10 minutes and there’s plenty of parking in the garage but I that’s about it, oh and staff was pretty nice too

Nice hotel, restaurant never open when you want it to be, nothing really to do unless you are there for a convention. No slots and small pool. The windows make the room look cool but might not be for everyone. Nice hotel but not if you are looking for a Vegas experience.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had the staff of super rude an the room was dirty.

Accommodating staff. Very hearty and good breakfast. Rooms are nice and best value in Vegas. Owner is friendly and cordial. He welcomes feedback and suggestions and continues to improve this property.

Good price. Safe location, Convenient parking. I have stayed there many times and never had a single complaint until this past trip. The hotel provides 2 free breakfast per room per day and the breakfast is first rate. I asked to get one to go for my daughter who had an early start at a sports tournament and was rather abruptly told "no", no breakfast unless the person is here. It seems unnecessary unless someone was repeatedly abusing the privilege. Still my favorite hotel in Las Vegas; personality of the Executive Chef - not so much.

Every time I travel to Vegas, I prefer to stay at The Ahern. The staff is polite and courteous. The restaurant is amazing!! The food is fantastic! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The Ahern is highly recommended.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Ahern and there’s a reason why it’s one of the best hotels in Vegas. The parking is free, no resort fees, the free breakfast is amazing, and it’s right next to one of the best old school Vegas restaurants in The Golden Steer. It’s quiet and peaceful, with no buffoonery going on, it almost feels like a spa retreat. I will definitely come back soon.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the property is exceptionally clean, modern, and stylish. One of my favorite things is how peaceful it is. No loud crowds, no smoky casino smell, and none of the chaos you find at many Vegas hotels. The location is convenient with easy access in and out of the property. The value is hard to beat. Free parking, no resort fees, complimentary breakfast for two, and during our 3-day stay we received 20% off food and beverages once each day. Ahern consistently delivers a comfortable, relaxing experience at an excellent price. Highly recommended, and I look forward to staying here again.

Walking distance to the Sahara, where you can catch the monorail to all of the other landmarks. Pretty quiet at night (I visited mid-May). Will definitely consider for a future stay and highly recommended!

Great location off the strip clean room and close to casinos

Overall, I’ll give a five star rating for this hotel room and all service were great. They have nice breakfast complementary included. The only thing is the gym is a little bit small. Aside from that this is a really good place that I will definitely take into consider when I visit Las Vegas next time.

It’s a nice hotel in between the Strip and Downtown, giving guests some distance from the crowds but near enough to the action.

Prioritize parking for hotel guests better especially when there are conventions .

Our first room had a built hole in the window but they moved us room when we requested to based on that. All the staff were all nice. The restaurant and coffee shop are both really good. Appreciated free parking and how close to the strip without being on the strip. Pillows sucked, but bed was comfortable, and the pink window tint was annoying. Overall we enjoyed the stay for the price we paid and will consider this place in the future.

Amazing hotel

I shipped two boxes for a food show that I was attending and the staff refused to accept the shipment despite the fact I called and informed them. The staff was kind later and apologized but the damage happened and the show was not a success. It was a very stressful situation.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious. I wish there was a bit more space or hangers to place towels and clothing for showers. It would have helped kept the room tidy during our stay. I think it would also help to streamline the themes to help the hotel feel more upscale.

This boutique hotel is at the end of the strip. It is away from the hubbub and peaceful. There is not a casino inside the hotel. The room was large and clean, but the entire building is coated in red. This made the light from the windows very tinted red and triggered my husbands migraines when the curtains were open. The staff was friendly and the food wasn’t bad and reasonably priced.

Nice place to stay very organized

The check in process was easy, the receptionist was super friendly and professional, she even upgraded my room to a king suite for no additional charge. She also provided coupons and discounts for the restaurant and coffee shop in the hotel. I love the location, it was conveniently close to the freeway but it was still quiet. Didn't have the opportunity to use the pool due to the windy weather during my stay, the gym unfortunately was very disappointing, only cardio equipment, room was very small, no free weights and for some reason the windows were clear and large and right next to walkway to the rooms, where anyone who was walking by can see you, very awkward. Unfortunately the restaurants were disappointing as well, even with discounts, I would not recommend, I wish I spent my money elsewhere, mostly just ate there for convenience. The Amore coffee shop was a delight, their hazelnut twist latte is amazing! And their pastries were delicious as well! Overall I would stay here again for their rooms and location, and their prices are really good, definitely worth it if you're on a budget. Food wise I recommend eating somewhere else, it's vegas there are so many choices. Customer service top notch, clean and quiet hotel and location great imo. One more thing, this is just a hotel, there is no casino, but that I didn't mind, it actually made my stay a lot more relaxing.

Had a great experience. Staff were amazing and very accommodating. LOVED THAT OUR ROOM WAS CLEAN UPON ARRIVAL!!!! Only improvement I see needed is a microwave in the room. Having to go up and down to warm our food was a lot. Overall, my experience was great.

It was a beautiful, big space room, clean, closed to everything and easy to public transportation. They gave us free breakfast (that never been offered by another hotel). The pink glasses (window) was so unique. Love to stay in here

The stay here was pretty good and close to everything. Overall, would definitely re-book again.

Great location if you have a car or a rental as parking is free. It's also super family friendly as it's non-smoking and there's no long walk across smokey casino floors just to get to the elevators. It's also nice and quiet at night without all the coming and going with doors slamming all night like a lot of other casino resorts there. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The pink tinted windows took a little time to get used to, but it definitely helps reduce the intensive sunlight filtering in. The bedding could be nicer quality, but the bed is actually very comfortable. There's a small pool and fitness center that we didn't use during our short stay, but we look forward to trying them out next time we're in Vegas. The staff were all friendly, and the breakfast at The All American Sports Kitchen was amazing. Honestly, a great stay that's close enough to the strip without all the crowd and the noise.

Very conveniently located near Las Vegas Blvd. Be careful to only order the specific "complimentary breakfast 4 items available". I didn't pay close attention and got stuck with a $19 bill the first morning.

First time going to Vegas and decided on this hotel. I do NOT regret this decision. I went with family and we were very satisfied with this hotel. Super clean, staff was friendly and attentive, and the best part, it was so close to everything. There were a lot of things around the area. Overall it was a great stay. Will definitely book again

It was a good stay, the only grief I had was first check in the remote for tv didn’t work and no maintenance until morning so they gave me another room. Carpet in rooms is kind of old needs shampooed or updated. My view was of parking garage ☹️ and kind of a musty smell from air conditioning at first day. Nice and quiet very restful, decent beds. Parking is decent and easy access to motel when tired. 🫩 free breakfast daily with coupon for their restaurant. Small pool but ok for just lounging outdoors. No casino 🙁 it easy walking for that to other casinos and other activities. Decent tv/cable Staff is super friendly to us! 🙂 Good place for a quiet nights rest 😌

This is my third time staying here. I absolutely love it. The room is clean, the staff are always kind, the air conditioning is super cool. No casino, but that’s perfectly fine with me as I don’t gamble. I love that the curtains are black outs and the area is very quiet. Although the area behind the venue looks sketchy, it stays quiet. Free parking and now free breakfast, couldn’t ask for more.

The Ahern continues to be my go to hotel when I am in town for about a week. You just can’t go wrong if you are looking for an alternative to the casinos.

We loved our stay in Ahern. From now one this is the only hotel we will stay during our Vegas visits. Hotel is super clean, there is no casino so there is no cigarettes smoke and smell. Housekeeping is doing phenomenal job keeping rooms clean and neat. Entire team is extremely nice and very helpful. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed complimentary breakfasts, and food and drinks from upstairs coffee shop are delicious. Free self parking is amazing if you appreciate independence. For us this hotel was everything we could ask for and more.

We try to always stay at Ahern. Easy Parking. Coffee shop opens at 6 am. Restaurant has great specials. I usually get the Ahern American for breakfast - very good and filling. For dinner - got their all beef meatloaf and mashed potatoes - it was literally enough for 2 people. A 10+ every time we have stayed at Ahern. approx 15 times.

We were pleasantly surprised. It was our first time staying at the Ahern. The hotel was conveniently located to the Las Vegas strip and the freeway. It was clean. The staff was nice and accommodating. Loved that it was a no-smoking and no-casino hotel. The free magic/comedy show was awesome. We'll definitely be back on future Vegas visits.

Coming from relatively picky eaters, the food at the American Sports Bar restaurants were delicious, with happy hour being well priced. The free breakfast is also a proper meal at the restaurant, which was really fresh; I had some awesome sourdough waffles that were one of the highlights of my trip. This was a little bit out of the way, but we didn't mind as we had an excursion early the next day. There was a famous Cuban singer while we were staying, which we got to see for free as guests, which was a cool surprise! Some things I liked: car/art museums to check out on the property, the chicken nachos, unlimited free water bottles, fresh citrus water, new building with an AC that works well, no smoking smells or gambling anywhere on the property

This place was amazing. The people were lovely. The ambience was royal. The food was really really good. My goodness the breakfast was breathtaking. The bacon was so good. The sausage was tasty. I must honestly admit anytime I go back to Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Our room was spacious. Modern. Staff was friendly. I liked the decor. They offered a free breakfast, which was delicious. The only issue, if you want to call it that, is the pool is not conducive to sun bathing in the morning time because it’s in complete shade. Also be sure to request your room be cleaned otherwise they won’t do it.

Great boutique hotel in between the strip and downtown Las Vegas. The room was clean and well stocked with all the toiletries you need. The reception staff were great and always helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. The restaurant offers an entire menu but you get to pick only from 4 preselected breakfast items, but each one was very tasteful and filling. Even though the breakfast is complimentary, be sure to take a form of payment for beverages and tip as they are not included.

Third time staying here. The no resort fees and the free parking is a big plus! Parking is close to your rooms too (compared to the other places around here). My only gripe is every room I’ve ever stayed in has horrible water pressure in the shower. But, I’ll keep coming back!!

Everything it was excellent. Except one thing. I had a king size bed, and it was a little harder than what I’m used to. I’m sure it was a quality mattress, but it was very firm.

The American restaurant was our staple. Good eats were to be found there. Love that the Ahern is off the main strip. Great place for conferences.

The Hotel is awesome. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the shower pressure could be a little strange. The Allstar Restaurant was excellent with free morning breakfast made to order. No powdered eggs were, No smoked fill rooms either.

Wonderful place to stay! Love my experience even though the hotel is off the stripe. It is worth. Very clean, everything is new and we got a deal: breakfast and parking included.

The room is always clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly. My only critique is that the complementary breakfast restaurant has inconsistent service. One morning the service was quick and friendly, the next morning it seemed I was seated then ignored. The coffee came after I was finished eating, the order was incorrect. Check out was quick. Hyper allergenic sheets and unscented rooms. After a long day it is a quiet retreat.

Cons: Water pressure was absolute dribbles. I had the shades drawn the entire time because the pink hue from the windows was too much. Bit claustrophobic but I wasn’t hanging out in the room too much. There was a gun show happening in the lobby. Not my thing, but it made navigating the space annoying. Especially being welcomed by Charlie Kirk tshirts before breakfast. Lastly, they used artificial generation for their karaoke posters. Small thing in the scope, but it shows how much they’re willing to cut corners to save tiny buck. Also it looked bad.

Okay stay, it was very weird with patients that looked like they had just come from the hospital and they were walking with a nurse. The 1st time we saw it, it seemed weird, but by the 4th time we saw it in a 2 night stay. It seemed really, really weird. For that reason, I don’t think I would stay here again.

The room was exceptional and got 2 shows and b'fast in the deal. The hotel offers a dining area that has exceptional quality food at a reasonable price. Try the wings!

I have stayed here several times now for business trips to Las Vegas and it is a very convenient and quiet location since there is no casino. The restaurant on site is great and the coffee shop is excellent as well. The windows have pink film on them, which is kind of strange at first, but you get used to it. Will continue to stay here For sure.

The hotel is a gem! Even at it's busiest, it is quiet, clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was included with my room and delicious! The hotel is smaller as well, so it took no time to go downstairs to grab a meal. I also appreciate that it was available all the way to 1030am as well. Would definitely stay again!

The room was beautiful with a nice vote view. Only thing missing was a coffee maker in the room. We were given free tickets to a comedy/magic show and breakfast the next morning. My stay at Ahern kind of restored my faith in the promise of Las Vegas. Over the last 40 years my visits to Las Vegas have steadily tailed off, as the casino hotels ramped up nuisance fees, hiked prices, started charging for parking, and got rid of loss-leading food and drink teasers that drew in the middle class traveler. Ahern offered everything I used to get in Vegas: a nice room at a fair price, a complimentary (and really high quality) breakfast, a discount coupon for additional food, and free come and go as you please parking. Mine was a last-minute reservation and first-time stay at this hotel, and I could not have been more pleased with the friendly service of everyone on site, and the value of the room relative to the price. I definitely would stay at Ahern again.

Hotel was good and they also had complimentary breakfast which was good. But there were stains on the linen and the room glasses were all pink which we did not expect. Parking was free and easy. Overall good experience.

This place is a hidden Gem!!!! The room was roomy, modern, and clean. The room had Avery nice larger fridge and a clean stocked bathroom. The parking was very easy and was free. We also receiver vouchers for breakfast at an actual restaurant on the property the food was very good! Out of all of the properties I have stayed at I would rate this in my top 3!! The property did not have a casino but that was not an issue for us. I enjoyed my stay and will be back!

The walls are pretty thin, and we could hear neighbors talking as well as people in the hallway. The pillows were very uncomfortable, but the bed itself was firm and nice. Breakfast is included but limited to three options (eggs and bacon, oatmeal, or avocado toast). It’s served in a restaurant setting, not a buffet, so you’re expected to tip, and coffee is not included. That said, the coffee is actually really good. The location is a bit removed from the main part of the Strip. You can walk—we walked from the Bellagio and it took about an hour—but it’s not the most convenient if you want to be in the center of everything. The Sahara is about a 10–15 minute walk, and the Deuce bus stop is about 8 minutes away, which helps with getting around. I booked through Expedia and noticed prices dropped closer to my stay, so I do feel like I overpaid. At a better price point, I would have felt even better about the experience.

What a great play to stay in Vegas! Unless you absolutely have to stay on the Strip mayhem, this is the place to go! Nice clean, quiet rooms, very comfortable bed, friendly staff, secure parking garage that they do not charge extra for, fantastic choice of free Breakfast, close, easy freeway access for quick trip to the heart of the strip and reasonably priced. A home run!

Nice clean and quiet room. I haven’t had a weak Wi-Fi like this in a long time. When I mentioned this to the front desk they blew me off and said I could buy a faster connection. I’m not traveling on business and should have access to a Wi-Fi that can download an online newspaper

My family and I stay at The Ahern every single time were in vegas. Its always clean, the people are really friendly. There is no smoking allowed inside or gambling. Plus the only hotel that i know of that gives you free breakfast for 2 each day of your stay. ♡♡♡

Room was clean and comfortable. We were located on the 8th floor and were aloud to check-in early. The hotel is located near the Strat Casino which is away from the LV Strip. We used the bus system to get around, bus stops are close by. Our room had Pink tinted windows, I assume to reflect the suns heat. Our room on request was cleaned daily. the main issue was no bars of soap were replaced, in 4 days we only got on small bar of soap and 1 tube of shampoo. Our last day we on had 1 wash cloth. A breakfast was provided each day, the breakfast was served but only 4 choices from menu. Coffee, juice, or any beverage at extra cost. Staff very Friendly. No Resort Fees, expect a damage deposit.

Everything is OK you get what you pay for but as far as cleanness there was some hair in the wool has some handprints and you can tell there was like some maybe champagne or depending on the wall could’ve been better plus the film they have on the windows so they can prevent the sun from coming inside it can makes it annoying a little bit

I’ve stayed here dozens of times; I love it! This time, they upgraded my room to a suite and it was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. I love that you don’t have to walk through a casino to get to your room, and they moved the lobby to second floor by the coffee shop, which makes it way easy to park and check in (and parking has always been safe!).

Nice hotel if you don't want to be on the strip. It is still close to the strip, downtown, chinatown, freeway. So it's very convenient and it's either a newer or newly remodeled hotel. It feels clean. It's relatively quiet since there isn't a casino attached.

The room and hotel overall was very clean and responsive to requests. We received breakfast coupons for our entire stay, which was nice. Check in and check out were quick and easy.

The A.A. sport bar was nice looking, clean and the food was ok but the service sucked. The place never got crazy busy but you would have like 4 or 5 people who work there just chatting at the bar or on their phones. Trying to flag someone for a refill or a mistake with an order was a long wait when none of them were looking or working the floor. Honestly, they were just hanging out with people who work at the restaurant and/or who others who worked in the hotel that would stop by to visit. The Wifi lagged big time and the TV channels would disconnect/glitch while you were watching the only few channels it had.

Staff was excellent and the food at the cafe was terrific!

However, this can be problematic if the pool is closed for renovations or during the winter. * Parking is free, which is a significant advantage as other hotels on the strip charge $25-$30, and these rates can be even higher during holidays or weekends. * This hotel does not feature a casino, which was ideal for us as we dont gamble, we're traveling with two young children. It meant our children did not have to navigate through the casino to elevator inhaling excessive cigarette smoke and the noises. We definitely will come back whenever we going to LV

If you like to be near the strip but not walking through overstimulating casinos and lights to get to your room Ahern is the place for you. I loved staying here during a local convention. the breakfast is great and the rooms are just right for setting up shop for a week. minifridge is cold and empty and cleaning service is on request so no housekeepers or minibars to manage. I will def stay here again if I need access to the LVCC.

There is nothing bad to say about this wonderful little gem of a boutique hotel. Location is probably the only reason that the price is so good. We are happy to stay here every time so far. I have to say that the coffee bar is great with a wonderful selection of coffee drinks and pastries. The restaurant even makes a wonderful, tasty basic breakfast that's included in our stay. The sausage was like having an herbed banger. Delicious! Staff was exceptional and everything was very clean.

Staff was super nice and the room was fairly clean! Check-in was a breeze and the amenities were great. My only complaint was that the bed linens had a few small stains on them, but it wasn’t too bad. All in all 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

Everything went well except the lobby was so cold. It was 40-50 degrees outside and it was the same temperature in the lobby. It was very uncomfortable. Apparently they weren’t running the heat to make it comfortable for the guest

The stay was good, they keep it very clean and the two most important things for me, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Very spacious room with a king bed. My only issues that might affect me wanting to stay again are: No coffee / tea service in the room, no microwave, internet bandwidth is lousy, and no streaming services available on the TV (basic offerings at most chains now). Also, the $100 per night deposit is rather steep. These improvements would make the Ahern pretty competitive.

The room was in good condition aside from the toilet paper holder being broken and the rowdy guests next door.

Carpets throughout the hallways and rooms are so clean, rooms are clean, quiet. Location is convenient, between the strip and downtown. Could walk to Sahara and take a monorail to the strip, or walk to Strat and take the free downtown loop shuttle to downtown/fremont/north outlets. The free breakfast is a sit-down and great food, service. My server Manny was excellent. Walkable to casinos without the hassle, lines, smoke smell. Would stay here again when I’m in town.

Room was quite clean and very spacious. Check-in staff was very friendly and courteous. The only real issue was the water flow in the shower. Most likely there was a pressure restrictor to reduce water flow, but it was a bit excessive. Probably would not stay again due to this issue.

This small non-gaming hotel has beautiful clean rooms and is located just off the Strip. You can walk to the Wynn/Fashion Show mall in 30 minutes and the Fontainbleau casino is only 15 minutes walk. My only gripe is that they have large flat screen TV's but no streaming services like Netflix or Prime.

This is awesome spot to stay at. Beware of the $100 per night deposit. But, you get it all back when you check out with no problems. The room was clean. The restaurant was affordable. You cant beat $6 hamburger, $7 fries, and $20 NY steak. Its a couple block from the Strip. If you have families with young children. This place is great to stay.

Breakfast was lackluster at best. Potatoes were dry and hard, bacon was ok, eggs were the only thing that was hot. And you have to pay for coffee which was higher than Starbucks price. For the price of coffee you would think they would just add that like most hotels. No microwave or room coffee. The place was very clean, parking safe, and the staff was excellent, just below standards on amenities.

The room was clean. Staff were nice and breakfasts were really good. Obviously more than you pay.

My only issue was with the sad area they call a "fitness room". 2 elyptical trainers, 1 bicycle, a random plastic chair and a single 25 pound dumbbell. Lol. Everything else was superb. Clean room, friendly staff and the most unassuming property, half a block away to the Strip. No Casino, no resort fee, no parking fee.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The restaurant staff were all amazing, especially my breakfast server Victoria. Check in and out we're both very quick and easy.

Complementary breakfasts and free park were greatly appreciated. Great choice for a family mini vacation if you want to stay away from the craziness on the Vegas Blvd but still stay close. Will definitely stay again

Room was clean and smelled great! Staff was extremely helpful including helping us park in employee parking because of our oversized vehicle. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. It seemed that the employees genuinely cared that we were there. The room was quiet and we didn't have to walk through a casino to get to it. We've stayed here 5-6 times now and intend to whenever we pass through Las Vegas.

Everything was excellent including the excellent breakfast. However we had to pay for coffee at breakfast and ,for an excellent hotel like this , I thought that was really cheap.

When we arrived at the hotel the staff were very helpful and give us free ticket for a show inside the hotel and we never expected that we also a free voucher for breakfast but not all of us. Will recommend this hotel to my friends and definitely will coming back this hotel.

Large, clean room, courteous staff, decent location. Free parking garage has spaces sufficient for a Ford Explorer. On-site free breakfast is limited to four $14 selections and does not include coffee.

Room is clean, staff are courteous. We were given a free ala carte breakfast and it is soo good. Stayed here for 2nights with family. Value for money. Definitely will be our go to hotel when were back in Vegas.

The staff was very courteous and professional. My room was spacious and other than the dust on the phone and some dust around the furniture. It was clean. I rarely give reviews. I like this hotel. Definitely a good place to stay.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. Lots of drawer and closet space. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for convention center events as well as events held in the hotel itself. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.
