I am always please with that place. Starting with helpful staff, clean room, well kept property and very convenient to almost everything in that area.

For the price they listed this place for, it is very an ideal stay on a budget. Clean room, well kept property. Even though most standard rooms don’t come with amenities upon request you can get a room with a mini fridge, microwave, tv and free wifi. The staff are always willing to help with whatever question you might have about the property. I will keep come back because I received great customer service

I’ve never had such frequent housekeeping. This is such a well maintained motel. I had clean towels everyday. There was no noise at all, nobody standing outside, no trash outside. This was my first time at a motel 6 and all the good reviews were true. Even my last stay at the Hilton I didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. This place cost less than one night of parking ($17) + one night incidental ($50). I rather stay here tbh

For a motel 6 it was very clean and well maintained. The front desk check in clerk was so friendly and cheerful. She was just a ray of sunshine.

This is a no frills older hotel. It's far from luxury but very affordable if you just need a room for a night or so and super convenient to the city and plenty of shops and restaurants in the laurel area. Staff is nice but this place could definitely use some updating.

An item was stolen from me by housekeeping. All my other stats was good until then.

Property was stolen out of my room by housekeeping. It was a beautiful mirror they stolen off my bed. I went to the store on the morning of my checkout . I came back for it and it was gone. There was 2 female housekeepers around my door when I left so I know one of them stolen it by the way they had already been eyeballing me while packing.

Very disappointed with my stay at Motel 6 in Laurel. The toilet did not work properly, which was extremely inconvenient, and the bed sheets were dirty when I arrived. Cleanliness and basic room maintenance should be the minimum standard for any hotel. Overall, this stay was uncomfortable and not worth the money. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

Hotel 6 at this location is perhaps the cleanest and best among several motel6 they’ve been across states , especially given the price and other similar hotels/motels in the surrounding.

Excellent stay for the price. Wifi solid, clean. Barebones experience, no shampoo or lotion, only soap. Good AC unit. TV funky- DirectTV menu, no Directv. HBO Channels actually Showtime but good set & reception. Would stay again. Noisy early as power tools were buzzing on a couple of nearby room repairs.

The room was infested with ants, there wax a big gap about a quarter inch wide, around the door that let a lot of light in all night, the linens were mostly stained, there was a shower, no tub, slippery black slime on the shower floor, the room wax not big enough for 2 beds, but they squeezed them in anyway. No microwave in laundry room (was shown in pics). The air conditioner worked, but it was against one of the beds. I found a $20 bill rolled up tightly (clearly used for drugs), behind my car in the parking lot. Not sure how this place has such a decent rating when it was really not good at all. The staff was polite but I didn't have much interaction with them.

The place is perfect if you are on a budget and or in need to rest. With no amenities it will be hard to stay there if you have small kids because not even a coffee maker is available to heat up some water let alone a microwave. When I checked in the lady was very professional and enthusiastic however for my checked out the gentleman was fully sleeping and didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. Considering the location with a busy highway the place was very quiet.

The property itself was fair for the price range, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable also there was no insect issues so that is a major plus. But the real star and pro about this property was my experience with the staff. The staff were professional, kind, and accessible with great communication, patience and customer service, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

The accommodations were good but no shampoo or hair dryer. With all the high baggage costs you expect a hair dryer so you don't have to pack one. It was about 10 miles from Washington DC so it was a bit of a drive to go there. The bed was good and i slept well. It was in a safe rural area, easy in and easy out. Quite a few restaurants in the area. It was about what you would expect from Motel 6

Property was in severe disrepair, there was a disabled vehicle in the parking lot, and what looked like something illegal happening in the parking lot when we arrived. The lobby door was open, but we genuinely didn’t feel safe getting out after looping the parking lot once. We found another hotel. We requested a refund, and the agent called the hotel twice and they hung up on him. Absolutely wild.

Someone cleaned the room each of the four days I was there as well as emptied the garbage. I always found a parking space close to my room, but the hotel was not very busy when I was there. I never had to wait more than a few moments to speak to someone in the office. Everyone was kind, courteous, and helpful.

The room appeared clean, however it needed the walls and furniture cleaned with disinfectant. Also they should exterminate more often, saw several baby roaches in the restroom. Morning staff extremely friendly. The night staff should try to be a bit more welcoming. Heating system worked well.

I recommend that guests verify the deposit amount prior to booking. While the deposit is refundable after checkout, this requirement caused some inconvenience. The room was great! It was clean and had all the amenities that were requested during my stay. It was also well heated, especially with the colder temperatures we were having outdoors at the time of reservation.

The man working the late evening shift is HORRIBLE. He is slow, unhelpful in every way possible. It took me 45 minutes to get checked in when I was the only customer in line. He had to change my room three different times due to problems with the room.

It is the worst hotel to stay in. The manager on staff who work there during the day is rude and disrespectful.They would not give me a late checkout and was very nasty. After they told me they dont give late checkout, i found out they gave another resident until 2:00 pm. Then they got nasty towarda me. When i first came there someone came in .y room and sole my gray nike shoes. And nothing was done about it.

The location was great. Close to DC. Lots of shopping and eating choices. The staff was nice and pleasant. The BIG downfall that made my rating so so low is the room was infested with roaches. I don't mean I saw one or two.... There were tons everywhere. I bagged all of belongings and will not be taking them inside my house until I launder absolutely EVERYTHING!!! I didn't complain because I didn't have anywhere else booked and I'm traveling with a dog. The only reason I use M6 anymore is because they allow dogs without crazy fees.

Property needs update

It was good for the price. The HVAC was noisy and the controls had no indication of what the controls do. They were rubbed off. I asked for extra pillows a week prior in an email, they didn't respond. When I went to the office they said they were ordered but didn't come in yet. We rolled to the center in the bed.

This is a motel and I get it, but, I can’t bear the smell once I entered my room. It’s supposed to be a non-smoking room but there was a blast of smoke smell once I entered the room. The room condition was bad as well. No coffee maker in spite of us choosing a “delux” room. The beds were so bad that we can feel the springs popping out. Had a terrible night of sleep in the beds.

This motel was a ways away from the city but in a quiet area. The staff was friendly and accommodating for a late check in. The room itself was a little dirty and the shower wasn’t the cleanest. It was a motel though and fit the bill for what it was.

There was no water when I got there and was told t What come back later . I called Hotels.com and was told that I needed to talk to the hotel. I left a message that said it would be returned within 3 days . This was not acceptable. When i returned to check in, they offered no credit and said that there policy was that I could check in anytime after 3.Ugh. My key didnt work and the person at the desk said I shouldn't be in that room. My key also did not work the second day. Today when I ws leaving, there was a sign on the door saying that the water would not be working again today!

Liked the size of the room and parking space. Did not like the beds. Beds were old and we could feel the springs and mattress made a lot of noise when we moved at night. Didn't like the smell of drugs that came into the room. We had to leave a day early.

There were people sitting out on the curb in front of their room blaring music and drinking beer at 8:00am. To each his own, I’m not knocking the early hour partaking, but do it in your room and don’t wake others up. The area around this property is beautiful. This place just needs to be cleaned up and it would be great. There were roach traps visible in my room, no shampoo, cigarette burns in the bedspread, and my mattress had a huge blowout on one side. We had to make this quick reservation because we had to stop and sleep on a long trip. Quite frankly, it felt unsafe and dirty.

It was fine. Quick check-in. Room was clean and functional. Lots of traffic noise. Pillows were very thin and bed not very comfortable. AC worked grates needed cleaning. No shampoo like other motel 6's. I appreciated the great room rate.

This motel was conveniently located for my trip. I was very late for check-in but the gentleman was able to accommodate my request. Very close to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. I would stay here again.

The sheets are the lowest grade possible and felt like sandpaper. The cleanliness was sub-par I had to use my own disinfectant to clean the bathroom up to my standard of living. I also killed two roaches. Totally unacceptable paying $100 a night.

Purchased a non smoking room and when they gave my room away they refused to refund me. Manager was super unhelpful 0 stars !!

The tv was screwed u. The bar for the handtowels came off twice

The rooms was very clean, and service was fine. A non-smoking room was speciically requested. It smelled of cugarette smoke very badly, and worsened periidically in the middle of the night. Because of early check-in, no other rooms were available at that time, and early morning departures/late arrival times didn't favor a complaint to the office. I am confident thr front desk would have provided an alternative room if asked.

It's was ok, nothing special but was good for a place to eat and sleep.

Upon my late arrival, the Wi-Fi information was not provided with my keycard (not a big issue). Due to my fatigue at the time, I did not immediately pursue obtaining it. Concurrently, I inquired about a late checkout and was instructed to follow up with the front desk the next morning. The following morning, I contacted the front desk to request a late checkout, explaining it was necessary due to my schedule. The male staff member I spoke with flatly denied the request, stating late checkouts were not offered. When I politely inquired about the reason for this policy, noting its availability at most other hotels, his response was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. He reiterated the 11:00 AM checkout time, mentioned a 30-minute grace period, and then threatened to call the police if I had not vacated the room by that time. He explicitly said, "I don't think you want that to happen." I must emphasize that I was not arguing, nor did I express any intention of refusing to leave. I was simply asking for clarification on the hotel's policy. Threatening a guest with police involvement under these circumstances is completely unwarranted, unprofessional, and created a hostile atmosphere. This level of customer service is unacceptable.

Requires a deposit that isn't advertised until check in. Then you have to wait 8 days for that money back. Horrible policy. Should be advertised before booking.

Let me remind you I come to this hotel a lot so I’ve never heard of this $50 deposit, but I was told that it’s new I paid a deposit in a week later checking my account in the deposit wasn’t pending. It was actually posted so they never gave me my deposit back, but I know I didn’t do anything to get charged for it so yeah….

They’ve always done right by me. Was homeless for a bit so was there regularly for a few months. They started adding a $50 deposit to the final total on checkin which is a huge inconvenience for anyone who doesn’t have a sum of funds to pay it right then and there( if I only had the money to pay for 2 days then add 1 on the final day I have to be short of $100 for a whole week; so rather than being at $120 for a few days it’s $220

Easy check-in, clean room and great price. Disappointed that the hotel does provide a fridge, microwave, hangers or shampoo/conditioner. And the sink stopper was broken and stuck in a nearly closed position, making the water drain very slowly.

This will location will NOT work for me anymore. I love the place as you see me bookings there everyday for a few months now. But this $50 additional charge daily will NOT work for me. Just image me checking everyday & having them my charge card & having to keep track of that everyday. I understand they wanna recoup for damages. They need to be going after individuals who creates damages & not impact innocent customers. This is just stupid. $50 can’t replace anything really!!!

The front desk people are fabulous. The cleaning crew is fabulous, but even with their weekly exterminations, I will not be back and I’m heading to a laundromat to throw everything in a very hot dryer so I don’t carry the roaches with me on my business trip.

Room was nasty, had a terrible odor as from the moment we got there. There were dead ants all in the shower. The bed sheets had long hairs all in them. The shower was half rusted out, with the handle falling off.

I initially was excited to enter here but when i got to check in, another customer was before me and expressed her discomfort with seeing small roaches in her room. She was given another room and rhen when i fot to my room i examined the room to find long strains of hair on all of my towels. I then took the towels to front desk and showed them to the Gentlemen who was more than happy to give me fresh towels but those towels (3) that i was given had had hair stuck in them and brown stains on them, all but one towel. I managed just because it was for one night but then i looked at the bed which had stains and cigarette holes on the bed. I pulled the covers back and then i see more hair in the sheets. I work long hours and just needed sum rest and didnt feel like going back to complain more to have to change rooms. So i cleaned what i could and got sum rest.

property clean service great room nice, but the bed was hard to sleep on it had a body dent in the mattress. Overall I liked it just need better beds and its in a good location.

During my stay I had a incident in my room my 3 year old daughter had a coat hanger that was supposed to be screwed and secured to the wall and it wasn't the staff just attached it by sliding the pieces together it had fell on her while she was trying to grab her coat

Roaches, burnt bedding, disfunctional shower. I’ve been to motel 6 before and they have been clean except this one.

The main problem is that either the hotel or the previous guest covered the only smoke detector in the room in saran wrap and the room smelled like a combination of cigarette, meth and who knows what other substance. The smell was so strong that it ended up impregnated on our clothes. We couldn't really spend the night and lost the money we paid since the smell was so strong and disgusting. We told the receptionist about the smoke detector being covered and nothing was done about it.

Toilet seat was broken. Mattresses badly worn out. Buy some new ones. Outside, lots of rats. Dirty worn front door mats. Bed cover stained. Replace them.

Random people hanging about. -Random strangers were offering to show me to my room but not the staff. The stairs leading to the second floor are made of wood. Worn down and unsightly compared to the cement layout. Steps are safety issue.
