Ok for the price. Had to ask for coffee. No soap in room but we probably should have told front desk

We were surprised that we were the only car in the parking lot ... The outside of the hotel did not give you a confident feeling ... We did not see any other guests and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot in the morning. We decided to stay since it was late and the room and lobby appeared to be clean ... It was warm so we had to use the air Conditioning .. it did it's job but was pretty noisy ... no breakfast ... no early coffee except for 2 pods in your room.

There is tattered and ripped US flag flapping on the flag pole. They need to take it down.

The first room had not been cleaned, the bed had been slept in, the bedside table had something on it, and there was something slimy on the floor. Also, you could smell the pool from the hallway, not chlorine, it smelled strong like mildew. We got a different room. For one night it was, what it was, but I’ll never stay there again.

Liked the parking

Breakfast the first day was Egg Omelet and Waffles. The coffee was cold left overs from the day before. No other hot food was available. Second day I went else where for breakfast. departure day there was cold coffee again but 20 min later fresh hot coffee was made available. they had biscuits and grave there but the grave was cold. All 3 days there was a pallet of debris across from the check in counter with stuff over flowing from it. Floor in my room was not clean, carpet was dirty and bathroom floor was sticky. Went to draw the dark curtain and found it was shredded. Large pot holes in the drive around the side of the place. If it was not for the navigator in my vehicle I would of never found it, not a single sign on what the place was. There was a US flag hanging outside the drive port that was shredded and tattered like no one ever cared. When you mention things to the staff they just stare at you and shake thier head then walk off

Breakfast was fine, but a bit sparse. I don't think they had many guests the night we were there. No eggs or breakfast meat, but they did have biscuits and gravy (this Indiana girl approved) plus waffles and such. We were fed, but some bacon would have been nice. (First World Problems.)

My stay was very brief, however everything, from the comfortable bed, and clean room, to the breakfast before leaving was wonderful. I also appreciated that they are pet friendly!

It was very dirty. We changed rooms twice because of horrible ant problems and are final room was kinda clean but they had condut as the bath nozzle so the shower didn't work! This place was absolutely horrible! I want a dam refund

The property has no signage on the outside so was difficult to know if we were at the correct place booked. Booked a king size bed for 2 (husband and wife), was given an accessible room with two queens. Although there was a Keurig coffee maker in the room, there were no cups and no decaf pods. I went and asked for decaf and was told they didn’t have any. I had to push to get them to make me some decaf as I was cold. The bath towels were thin, the beds were sloppily made. When we checked out there was no one in sight despite our making two trips out with luggage. Would never stay there again and would not recommend it.

Tv didn't work. Half of the electrical outlets didn't work.

Could hear interstate traffic all night. Overall could use maintenance and sprucing up. Breakfast was a bowl of cold cereal. OJ was muddy looking. Stayed at same place last year and they told us no signs because they were in the process of rebranding. Seems to me they are putting in bare minimum of money & maintenance into the place. We’ll skip this place next year.

The hotel does not have a sign outside. The staff was nice. Room was dirty and linens/towels had stains. The place needs a deep clean and new linens.

Definitely needs a sign, not sure it was open. But a great stay for the price.

Parking was very easy. Staff were great. Carpet in the room was tired and has seen better days. Don’t count on breakfast if you are watching your carbs or gluten.

Management friendly but property needs care. No plug in sink, fridge ran very hot and noisy ( unplugged it) towels seemed dingy, no name on the motel to know if we were in the correct place. Just needs work.

Breakfast was not what we wanted. No body wash in shower. When we figure how to cancel the Feb. 21 2026 date we will cancel.

I love this hotel. The way hotels should be. Indoor pool, restaurant and a bar The swimming pool is beautiful in a Holly dome.

But the breakfast was dry and the fruit hadn't been replenished from the night before. They didn't seem to monitor or care about it. Two of the three ice machines were broken and vending machines were empty. Some other equipment was broken. The location was also strange, down a bumpy road behind a Love's gas station. Not a bad location, just not where I'd expect a hotel. So, not a bad experience, but it wouldn't take much work (except for the location) to make it a good experience.

It was nice and convenient. The beds could use some updating, kinda hard about like sleeping on the floor. The breakfast could use some improvement as well.

The facility is in obvious need of updating. It's a bit out of the way, and there were very few guests there the night be stayed. I don't see how it can survive if our stay was typical.

Parts are very nice. Breakfast room, wallpaper, wall hangings but parts need work still. I imagine they are planning that. Outsides are shabby, some of the room bedding does not fit. Back door did not latch without pulling it shut. We did like it though for the price!

Staff was great! Room was clean! Breakfast was amazing! There wasn't a change machine for the laundry room. Staff didnt have change either. (It was also like 2am after we were done working though staff did inform us they would have change at 6am for us. We couldnt wait till 6am to wash because we had to be back to work.) There was a 24/7 laundromat close by though.

Appears to be a newer building that is just changing hands. Surprisingly inexpensive compared to most others. Facilities were very good. Spacious, bright, quiet, large breakfast area, comfortable beds. Among the best hotels we've stayed at.

The hotel was eh okay. My room, there was a huge hole in the curtain. The shower was stained bad. It was overall in crap condition. Dead flies in the window. Everything white seemed like it had a yellow tint to it. The best part was the customer service.

Could use an update on furnishings. Walls need some fresh paint. Curtains need replacing. Had problems with TV and remote. Was very upset when I was told I had to pay more for the handicapped room. I refused because I already paid for it when I booked it. Staff called the boss and waved the extra charge. It is unfair if it continues with other customers

TV didn't work, so we had to change to a different room. I'm not sure that this is a Holiday Inn Express. If it is, it would be below average.

This hotel was a Holiday Inn but since I stayed there, they changed the hotel name to Pike Inn. The bathtub had yellow water!!!!!

Good place to stay

The ice maker on the 1st floor was not working well th no sign. Had a bathtub with no drain plug. No remote for the tv. Toilet was leaking water. Breakfast had nothing left with a hour to go on it. I will not be stopping in Leroy again.

When i left in the morning i tried to use the elevator to leave. The elevator didn't work because they were cleaning it on the main floor. They knew i hadn't left yet because they tried to come into my room while i was in the bathroom. I would hesitate to stsy at this motel again.

There was no remote for our TV so had to call to have staff resolve. Thermostat did not work in our room. Side door which was supposed to be locked and opened with hotel key card was broken and remained unlocked which questions safety if anyone can come in that door.

Charged me $250 per night on Friday and Saturday. Outrageous! Bathtub water was yellow. Horrible. I want my money back. Insane. Never again. Worst holiday inn I have ever encountered in my life

Our room felt very unclean. Carpet was stained and bathroom floor seemed like it hadn't been really scrubbed in quite some time. The bathtub had sitting water due to the tub floor having an uneven surface. The sheets were clean but the pillows smelled a little off. The main surfaces were free of dust or dirt, but the deeper cleaning items seemed as though they hadn't been done in a while.

We were overall pleased with our stay. Everything was clean. We didn't try the pool. The breakfast provided quite a few different things. Nothing really good, but better than a lot of places. The bed was very comfortable.

Upon entering our room there was a tea bag holding the entertainment center door shut ! I then noticed a black mold looking dots all over the A/C shrowd . I attempted to call front desk but the phone didn't work ! I w went down to front desk to tell them of the problems and the manager on duty came up and cleaned the A/C shrowd and looked at our phone . He discovered that after he moved the desk someone hand unplugged and hidden the cord behind the desk . Hardly any water pressure coming out out of the sink faucet . Didn't try the shower . Breakfast was Great .

Overall it was an ok hotel for what we paid. There were several dirty areas in the room, especially the bathroom that clearly haven't been detailed in a long time. The keurig and several outlets didn't work but that was a minor inconvenience. We had enough long charger cords to make it work for us. The pool had way to much chlorine in it and burnt our eyes. My biggest complaint was upon check in. There were many people around for some type of group and when given the keys to our room the clerk said our room number out loud. That's a huge safety problem to me. If I didn't have my husband with me I would have demanded a different room.

We lived our stay. Place was clean and very friendly. The only bummer was the pool was green and could not use it.

It was a good place to stop and stay for the night! Everything was functional and served us just fine.

Also, we booked a two queen bed room and were given two full size beds. One was ROCK hard and the other ok. The pillows were horrible too. The front desk person just said there was nothing they could do and brushed it off. We love Holiday Inn Express but this was fell short of the usual high standards.

The first hotel room was so dirty we had to change rooms and were downgraded. The second room was cleaner but lots of stains.

Trash in room and food left from guests before in the fridge (might’ve been there awhile). Overall worth the price.

The room was damp and musty and the carpet underneath the air conditioner was soaking wet. I walked past it and the water soaked into my socks. Room wasn't very clean and previous damages were clearly repaired poorly. The coffee in the morning was good, though. Actually, it was the best part of the stay.

Breakfast was descent.

It was fine. The drywall in the bathroom was peeling off and when I moved a chair, there was chips and crushed crackers under it.

We have stayed here many times. Onky complaint is that the workers smoke on a bench out front so much that it reeks of smoke.

The place definitely needs to up their standards for cleanliness. I arrived around 4:30 to check in and walked into a dirty room and when I went downstairs to the lobby the front desk staff asked if it was urgent... the room smelled awful for the entire stay but after that I decided it wasn’t worth going downstairs. I ended up cleaning the bathroom when I got back later that night because there was hair everywhere. It was even in the bedsheets, luckily I brought my own sheets and was able to change them. All around not the worst place to stay but I definitely won’t be coming back.

Nice room, in good shape and clean. Only deficiencies: bathroom fan super noisy, outlet for TV had no power so has to swap with fridge plug, lamp outlet did not have power. Good breakfast.

Hotel had a weird smell, breakfast was sub par and our group had blocked rooms and trying to book those rooms was a nightmare. I ended up just booking thru Expedia cuz it was so much easier.

Facility smelled of old food. Front seemed rushed when interacting. Hair and residual debris from previous tenants all over in crevices and in the bathroom of room. Pungent chemical smell with streaks all over bathroom (I hope the streaks were from cleaner haphazardly being used but could have been old urine…). Gym was haggard, wall paper peeling off the walls. Facility could respectfully use a face lift and some TLC.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on the way back from a family vacation. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was OK. We didn't feel that the person at the desk was very friendly and didn't really engage with us except to get our credit card and a form signed. It wasn't a "welcoming" experience if that makes sense. We noticed that there were some maintenance issues around the hotel, like light bulbs being burned out. All in all, the stay was fine, but we didn't think that it was quite the high standard that we usually see when staying with HI Express hotels.

Good location, close to highway to grab a few hours sleep before continuing travel. Bedding and room in general was clean. Bed was comfortable. However, the rooms are in desperate need of some simple scheduled maintenance (ie regular schedule carpet cleaning, fresh coat of paint on the walls, fresh caulk around tub, and get rid of those god awful heavy dust collector curtains and install a simple pull chain combination blackout shade & sunscreen). The rooms would appear much cleaner and be more appealing. I would hate to be housekeeping there; you can only put so much lipstick on a pig... maintenence needs to step up and do their job, place could easly be a 3 star great little spot off the highway when traveling through. Note: room 221 needs the TV looked at; worked intermittently. And the blackout curtain was ripped.

The indoor swimming pool looked gross- the water seemed cloudy and just not clean. We had chosen this hotel because it had an indoor pool but in the end chose not to swim because of the dirty looking water. Everything else was average.

It’s the perfect place for us to stop on our travels. Easy access from the interstate.

There were stains on the bedskirt and curtains, dirty handprints on the walls, cobwebs on the sprinklers and mold in the bathroom....but the sheets were clean.

A great little property just off the highway. We’ll be using this Holiday Inn Express again.

I'm not sure what has happened since our last stay here in 2019 but the hotel has seriously gone down hill. From batter hallway corners, to mystery stains on lamps, curtains and walls to the disgusting grimy hair sprinkled calking around the bathtub that looks like a toddler did it. Not to mention the rusty gross soap holder. Just not up to snuff for the price or the brand. We'll drive to Bloomington back and forth the next time for better, cleaner options. The front desk staff was friendly but the housekeeping was rather surly. Other staff seemed more interested in hanging out front and smoking in groups than anything. Better of the two options in Leroy, but really not a great stay if you can hang in there to get to Urbana or Bloomington. I hope things get turned around but it doesn't look to be that way.

I stayed here for work. After I checked in, I went to my room. Tried to use the wifi. I called the front desk. The gentlemen said it's been broken for TWO days!!! Tell people that, it affected my job, I am not happy!!!

Room is dated and up keep is behind in repairs.

We have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express. I only saw the same two people working the entire time we were there. That said, usually no one was at the front desk to answer questions. The pool was out of towels, coffee pots were empty, breakfast was a game of catch up, we need forks, we need spoons, we need more milk, the pancake mix is out, etc. The two workers tried but just too short staffed. Too much money to pay for lack of service.

While there are certain amenities associated with Holiday Inn Express, this was not the cleanest hotel. There were lots of dead bugs in the windows and there was a strange spray they saturated every room with (we had three) -- so much so that my daughter's skin broke out from lying on the bed. There were some repairs that needed to be made, an improvement to the overall cleanliness. The staff was very friendly though and quick to accommodate.

Pay attention to details.

Was given wrong room. Had confirmed reservation but room we wanted not available. Made no effort to correct mixup.

The key didn’t open out side doors. Are room keys didn’t work on the doors three times no Kleenex. Have snacks but have no change for machines Would not recommend or come back again

They completely messed up my reservation. I booked and got confirmation for a 2 queen bed room but the front desk insisted that was incorrect and gave me a king bed instead. Made the whole stay very inconvenient

Our room was great. We had our dog with us, and there was nice grass for him to stretch his legs. Once settled in our room, suddenly, the heater made a popping noise and died. The front staff put us in another equal room without hestiration. I appreciated the ease of the transition as we were exhausted.

The staff is excellent. Checking clerk helped change rooms after trouble with TV. Housekeeper gave me additional attention. I have my right arm amputated and they recognized my issues.

Booked king room handicap got two queens on 3 floor

Old property. Bad odors. Credit Card was compromised.

Wonderful place. Very clean and ease to rooms was wonderful. Would stay again.
