The room was extremely large and very clean the only negative is the rate of the room it was rather high.

The stay was great for the most part, but i was surprised when we returned to the room after day 2 of a competition and the key cards didn’t work. I had to go to front desk and wait a while with an incoming guest for the 2 employees to eventually help. One (seemed like a manager) didn’t even look up to greet us the entire time, just typed away. The reservation was until the next day so the key cards didn’t should not have deactivated,

Things were just okay. Property was a little run down. The breakfast was subpar (and we eat a lot of hotel breakfasts). We elected to eat out on the second morning of our stay.

There is a $50 fee when you check in for any incidentals. I charged a bottle of Gator Aid to my room and the whole $50 was charge to my credit card. Shouldn’t a couple of dollars be taken out? I’ll think twice about booking with a you even if I gave you high marks. Very disappointed.

Very comfortable

This is the second time I've stayed at this Hampton Inn, and the second time I've had cold-slightly warm (never hot) showers in the morning. I've let management know both times. They supposedly test the showers and find they have hot water. But they test them during the middle of the day. I've let the shower run for a VERY long time to see if it gets warmer, and it never does. I probably won't be staying here again.

Room was clean and in order, bathroom room was cleaned very well and stocked. Staff was friendly and very polite. The breakfast was typical continental breakfast and busy but food service staff were right there cleaning and stocking all the food item. I enjoyed my stay, and will continue to use as my vacation relaxation spot.

The room was clean and the space was just what we needed. The exterior door closest to our room was broken for our entire stay and it was January in Chicago so that was a bit disappointing. The Spa ( Hot tub) was part of the reason we choose this hotel over others in the area and the water was cold for 3 of the 4 nights of our stay. The staff did their best and we appreciate all the efforts. Over all we would likely again if those flaws were rectified.

We stayed for a sports tournament and the stay was great. Room was clean, and breakfast area was well maintained. Cookies were great too.

The staff was really nice and helped my friend check in when I was on the plane and unable to get ahold of. They also helped me when my card wouldn't unlock. The cleaners were also really nice and provided towels and took our trash. I'd like if the shuttle that's there was able to give rides. Getting an Uber from this hotel was particularly difficult. I wish some form of transportation was offered that was easily accessible. There was also a lot of issues with the app not working to open the door or the cards we had would randomly stop working. Having to go back and forth was just a bit of a hassle.

We were only there 1 night but enjoyed the pool, and we loved the room space and comfort.

This property was beautifully taken care of, my room was very clean, beds are pretty comfortable, staff is very, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get a good nights rest while traveling. Also the little town that’s so close to this hotel has the sweetest little main street area with lots of neat shops and restaurants. I might go back just to take a little vacation there.

This was a group trip for soccer, so we got in very late and left early the following morning, but for what we experienced, the whole facility was modern, clean, and breakfast was really good for it to be included with our room. Would definitely stay again.

I was on the top floor during a storm and it was literally raining into the room. You could see cracks in the ceiling so it’s not like this was a new issue, they choose not to fix it.

I was there for 3 nights and had two mornings of barely warm showers. I complained immediately that first morning. Others in the breakfast area complained of cold showers as well. Management said they fixed the problem but it wasnt fixed. I was offered a different room for the last night I was there, but was too busy with my work functions to even think about moving. Plus, I had already had two mornings of cold showers. I requested a room discount for the inconvenience but was told that because i booked on Travelocity, the rate was locked in. Apparently there was a large business group staying there while I was there. I'm guessing this hotel does not have a sufficient water heating arrangement for a full house. This is unacceptable.

I came to the Chicago area for the first time for my son's Navy graduation. It was very convenient to go back and forth to the base. The surrounding area was mostly business buildings, but there were places to get a meal or pop into a convenience store. There's even a charming museum 5 minutes away. Just ask Google maps for what you need, it's likely nearby. Although if you're looking for popping nightlife, it seemed like this wouldn't be the spot. The hotel staff was all very nice, particularly the Cleaner on 4th floor and the man who drove us in the shuttle to the base for graduation. (If you stay here for graduation I definitely recommend the shuttle.) 1 small issue was that most of the sockets in the room didn't work. Overall I was very happy to have chosen this hotel.

I stayed for a Navy graduation. The hotel was clean, breakfast was great with hot and cold options along with take to go options, all included. The room was clean, the pool and gym was great. The bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was great and changed slightly daily. It was always restocked. The coffee available all day was fantastic. Really a nice perk. Warm, fresh, chocolate chip cookies daily were also a nice touch. The hot tub was nice. Could’ve been a bit warmer for my liking but it was fine. Staff was helpful in explaining how to live stream the Navy graduation for us.

Was told property had been renovated recently, renovation looked like some one had not much experience. Goose neck tube to shower was broken, trim not cut right, caulk lines not clean and smooth. Found finger/toe nail on floor of bathroom. First floor very clean and looked as if it in fact had been redone. Staff very freindly, check-in and check-out very easy

This hotel is a typical Hampton Inn, except that it has been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. Everything was clean and looked new. Bathroom is a good size with a nice walk-in shower. The breakfast was better than the previous two Hampton Inns we stayed in.

Our suite was huge! Plenty of room for everyone and their stuff. The pool was also larger than your average hotel pool and we really enjoyed the hot tub. I didn’t try out the gym as I intended but it looked very nice as well. The included breakfast was very convenient and had a good selection, which changed from day to day. Highly recommend!

Excersize room is very adequate. Floors are laminate wood and cold on feet at night.

I forgot a couple of small, lightweight clothing items in my room and was unable to return for them. Called and asked to have them mailed to my home, even offered to pay, and they refused. This is a large chain hotel and for $200 a night they could and should have accommodated and helped me get my items! Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

SO frustrating to not know the age or "real time" condition of a given property. This room just felt run down. Once we passed through the room spray, it almost smelled like animals. First of all, get rid of all carpeting!! Then there was a fabric frame on the bed. Every guests' legs touch this, with skin follicles falling in the fabric. this should be wood and wiped down after each guest. We were told the bathroom had a reno 2 years ago. A very CHEAP reno. Or so it felt. Water dripping out of the shower onto the floor. The vanity inches away from each wall, so all small things could easily fall to the floor. BAD design. And the sink faucet was placed back too far from the sink so that every time you washed your hands, water would run onto the counter by the faucet. Even I would know better about placement. Just poorly done. Hampton Inn used to be our Gold Standard for great quality at a good price. Now they are becoming dumps. No more for us.

This is the 2nd year we stay and I really wish the pool would open earlier and stay open until at least 11 pm. The breakfast area was clean and all food was kept well stocked. The coffee was okay. The breakfast paddies were very oily- I don’t expect high quality, but it was really oily. All in all, the staff was courteous, rooms were clean as were public spaces. And a final plus, the towels were in good condition.

Very pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and extremely quiet. We had the room right next to the elevator on the 3rd floor. Never heard anyone at the elevator, in the hallways or above us. The breakfast was more than the typical hotel breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

If you are going to Grayslake there is no better place to stay. Large rooms, friendly professional staff and very conveniently located.

I have stayed at several Hampton Inns in the last year, and usually choose a double queen. This last visit was assigned a handicap accessible room. This was not requested or needed for our two night stay, but we welcomed the extra room. This site has a 2nd floor handicap accessible room, right off the elevator which we could hear music noise throughout both nights and into the daytime. Not noticed much during the day, but kept us up somewhat during the night. A call to front desk was met politely, and they were going to try and address, but there was no resolution. It was rather loud as we could hear it over a sound machine and my CPAP. Hoping they can resolve that for the next tenants. Otherwise everything else was as expected.
