The stay was okay my toilets in my room was stopped up .the kitchen was small and not what I’m use too but the staff was friendly and the amenities were nice

No heat in room

It is very loud with kids, teens, and adults running the halls and screaming on phones. Rooms are dated as are appliances. Streaming is slow. Not a home away from home unless you live in apartments with tons of kids.

Waited for over a half hour for someone to come to the front desk. Called numerous times as well. Never received assistance. Went to another hotel.

The pool was beyond freezing. And there was no shampoo, air conditioner in our bottles in our bathroom.

The room is spacious and comfortable. The fitness center equipment needs some maintenance and TLC - otherwise, it is good.

The 2 bedroom suite was very spacious and a great fit for 5-6 people. It was pretty close to the Naval base so good for graduation.

Clean room, alot of space for the price, only negative was. There are two door, where you can enter the bedroom. A the sliding door was off track. It wasn't a real deal breaker because it was only me. But if i was in the room with 2 or more ppl. That would be a problem. Due to the fact the room can sleep 4 ppl comfortably

The night manager at the desk, Natalie, was friendly, professional, and helpful. All other workers were also friendly and clearly working hard to do their jobs.

My family and I were in town to attend my son's Navy Boot Camp graduation. The staff was professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was prompt and also accommodating. There was complimentary coffee, hot water and hot cider daily. To include a continental breakfast available the day of the graduation before the daily complimentary breakfast was served. I highly recommend, only about 20 minutes from the Navy base.

We stayed and it was decent. We didn't try the breakfast but it was clean, the employees were friendly. The tubs need to be updated and they need newer bedding and the pillows were VERY flat. I had to request more. Over all I would stay here again.

Pros: Staff at front desk and wherever we went were friendly and accommodating/helpful. Whenever we complained about something it was taken care of that day. The property was clean all throughout the building It was very quiet! Pool is very nice and warm - no hot tub but that wasn't important to me. Breakfast area/lobby lots of comfortable places to eat/sit Cons: The rooms feel dated and in need of sprucing up. Our refrigerator freezer did not have a working ice maker - the front staff said they were "phasing them out". There is only 1 ice machine in the building - on the first floor. The dishwasher racks slid in but it was tricky to close the door. It was almost impossible to open the window. They are the kind you can open but they are really hard to open. There are some simple convivences that are missing: need more towel/clothes hooks in bathroom. Could use a paper towel holder in the kitchen area. No drawers in the vanity in the bathroom so all your stuff just sits on the counter. We were not informed of the room cleaning schedule when we checked in and then our room wasn't done on the schedule they told us it would be done. They straighten and refresh towels every other day and do a bigger cleaning on the 5th day of your stay. They should give this handout (that is at the des

We had the suite for 3 brothers. It had two completely separate bedrooms with a well-stocked kitchen and nice living room in between. The perfect set-up.

The bathroom was not well maintained. The shower head “whined” loudly when you turned it on. The tub was not clean enough to take a bath. The living room TV did not have a decent picture. The elevator was also out which wouldn’t be a problem but combine everything and it was not a good hotel. Stay somewhere else.

My husband and I made a sporadic trip to Highland Park Illinois to visit a dealership about a car. Although we only stayed one night, the hotel was well kept and the bed was oh so comfortable. Would stay there again if I ever visit Highland Park Illinois.

This hotel was amazing. Room size was great, great housekeeping and delicious breakfast.

The staff was amazing. The only bad thing i have to say about this hotel is the water pressure in the shower could be a lot better especially for people with long thick hair.

One, the main elevator was out of order. My room was on the opposite side of the building from the 2nd elevator. Had to use the stairs the entire time. Two, the breakfast was not impressive. Never went back after the 1st time. Lastly, the bed was a brick. Not comfortable at all. On a good note, the staff was very friendly and quickly sent my request up to my room. Great location.

Very understanding and accommodating staff. Due to several flight delays they allowed me to check in late after midnight. Quiet and peaceful but far from the city. Probably needs a shuttle bus to transport customers from the airport and back. I was satisfied with my overnight stay.

We were greeted immediately upon arrival . We didn't make it to breakfast either morning. But we heard it was great. However this property was just right for our much needed weekend getaway. Clean, convenient and the customer service was phenomenal.

Employees were helpful with lists of restaurants in the area. There was a good variety of food for breakfast, which is included. There was a fresh iced lemon/lime/mint drink available 24/7 in addition to hot coffee and tea in the lobby.

You will not find a nicer group of people who work at this hotel. From Jaime to all the staff who went out of their way to help me each time I stay, they all are friendly and hard-working. They try to accommodate my requests as best they can and it is much appreciated!

Awesome stay

I got a room for a weekend getaway. I liked the area where the hotel was. The staff was rude no smiles, no real customer service I had to ask multiple times for someone to come vacuum or give the vacuum so I could do it my self no one came, I asked for towels they act as if I couldn’t get more towels. And the bath tub was chipping paint to where my kids were taking baths n it’s was paint chips floating in their bath water reminded u my kids or small 2 and 3 that dangerous. Breakfast did not have all the items out and when I asked about she act as if I was bothering her.. For me to had spent over 300 bucks I shouldn’t have had to deal with little problems like that.

This was a great property with lots of space.

Very nice stay. My only criticism is that the bedding on the full beds was challenging with two people in bed. We were fighting over the covers all night. But otherwise comfortable.

Love everything but the breakfast meats were hard to keep moist. The breakfast potatoes were fine but the hash browns were hard to keep warm.

Booked this hotel to visit my son for his graduation from Great Lakes. We had a 2 bedroom suite. It was clean and there was plenty of room for sleeping. My only wish is that it had a dining area and more seating in the living area. It had a kitchenette and we were hoping it would have at least a table with a couple chairs, it did not. Other than that, it was perfect, and that's really our fault for not checking.

My husband and I feel the hotel was quiet. Everything was clean and the surroundings was safe. The breakfast was hot and staff was helpful. We plan to stay here again. Price was reasonable.

My family stayed here for my brother’s bootcamp graduation and it was INCREDIBLE! The staff gave us tips for graduation and things to do. They told us about places to avoid and restaurants that were great to eat at locally. I normally don’t leave reviews, but this place was too good not to share. This is a place you must stay at! I’m so thankful we did!

Overall it was a comfortable property, however our room was not made up or cleaned during our stay which was odd.

We could barely cook, the utensils, supplies and space was insufficient. No dining table to eat. And front desk was not helpful when I asked for extra utensils. We will never stay here again!

All was exceptional

Really great hotel! I love the set up of the room and that it had a full kitchenette and full-size refrigerator. Very clean nice pool. The only downfall was that at breakfast time it was very cramped. There was no seating for my son and I because it was so busy and there was hardly any food left over.

Everything was great, except the breakfast was not very good. The eggs were Ok, but the potatoes were cold and the sausage was like rubber.

The room was immaculate! The breakfast area needed some attention as there was only one person to refill the items and clean up -- she needed help to keep up with the demand.

The hotel is a little dated with dated appliances. With that being said, it was clean and the beds were really comfortable.

A month ago I stayed 5 star hotel at Lincolnshire at more price, but not better than this Homewood suite. This is a best experiece ever.

Amazing service at front desk

I didn’t like the receptionist kept repeating our room number for the whole lobby to hear. We were traveling with small children. There were people smoking in the room a few doors down from us. The tub was dirty. There wasn’t enough towels for us even though I put the number of people on the reservation. The breakfast wasn’t that good until the day before we left when there was waffles and bacon. Due to the shower not draining properly it caused what come on come on come on? We’re going downstairs bye. our children clothes to get week even though they were in the room next to the shower. Overall me and my family did not have the best experience. We did like the pool and the fitness room.

I really loved the pool area it was enclosed and easy to get to.The breakfast was good.the outside seating area They have two great grills and fire pit. It was really pretty. The suite was very nice and clean loved the kitchen area. I think the only thing I didn’t like was the sofa bed . It was uncomfortable to sit on and the AC in the room was not working. Other than that it was a great stay and I will definitely be back.

Unfortunately the morning coffee station was never Hot only Luke warm at best, our rooms AC went out and our rooms temp was in the 80's

Only complaint is the pool temp was a bit cold. I did say something to someone and it seemed it warm up after. The area doesn't really have much to walk but it's about 45 minutes from Chicago(depending on traffic) which is where we are actually visiting. Chicago itself is great for pedestrian traffic.
