Great place to stay!

When we visit Lincolnton, NC again, we will definitely stay at Hampton again. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly.

the staff was so very friendly and helpful. The cookies were fantastic. And the pool area was nice as well. The room was great except for the bed, it was very hard I ended up sleeping in the chair both nights.

Loved the clean room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Nice to be able to cool off in the clean pool. Air conditioning was working excellent. I would definitely stay there again when in town.

Our rooms were not made up in the morning after the first night.

This Hampton Inn was clean and comfortable. We did not feel welcome the next morning however. The breakfast attendant was not helpful and closed the doors to breakfast 5 minutes early without even asking us if we needed anything else.

Also HOW GROSS that the coffee maker, cups and ice bucket included in your room are located in the bathroom on the lower shelf under bathroom sink right next to the toilet . Very unsanitary, we did use. Property itself other than that was decent.

Good central location, check in was easy and staff was very pleasant I was expecting my room to be serviced daily. On the 1st day I met the cleaning lady in the foyer and she cleaned the room. On the second day I came back to a room that was untouched and my bed not made up

It was a nice hotel. Very clean. Requested late check out , had sign on door but cleaning staff entered room without knocking before agreed upon time - said it was not noted on her sheet.

Exceptionally clean! All public areas and rooms were spotless. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! ALL staff were very helpful, gladly providing anything we asked for and offering great restaurant suggestion in nearby Dallas NC that could easily accommodate our 6 adults and 2 high chair babies. The staff here must be well trained and well managed: they were all very friendly and seemed to genuinely like their jobs. THAT really makes for a good customer experience!

This hotel was comfortable, safe, and clean. We arrived late and were greeted with a warm smile. Check-in was easy, staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was exactly as expected. Overall, great stay.

From Checkin to Checkout we had a great stay - cannot praise staff enough for making us feel so welcome. Room was clean but the bed was a bit hard for me - not something that can be easily changed, and no fault of the staff.

From the minute I walked in the front door I was impressed with the reception area and the employee at the desk. I think her name is Rosalind. The entire lobby and hospitality area was decorated for Christmas. I thought it was professionally done. It was beautiful! Everything from that point was spot on. Every employee was very friendly and helpful. The room seemed to have been updated and was clean and well stocked. The room was comfortable and restful. The manager, Jacob, even called us the next day to see how our stay went. We will definitely stay at this Inn again!! Thank you! J. Burton

Desk and housekeeping Staff were courteous. Room was clean. There was a power outage this morning right around 9 AM as I was getting ready to go down stairs. I tried to wait for the power to come back on so I could get a hot breakfast. When I got down stairs around 9:45 pretty much everything was gone. So I got cereal and juice and went to get coffee thinking I'd come back and at least get toast or yogurt. When I returned to my table the food area had been closed off from the tables and those of us seated there. Not a welcoming experience when I had had to ask the server for the coffee location since I had missed it.

The staff was very courteous. In town for a family reunion. Only stayed one night.

The front desk staff was rude. I also booked 2 rooms assuming we would be next to each other. We where on completely different floors. What if there was no choice if i had children and absolutely needed joining rooms.

Check in/out took a second, room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, had free bathroom necessities we needed from the front desk, microwave and fridge in the room were definitely needed. It was perfect for a long weekend family stay. Will come here again!

This property was fantastic! We hadn’t been to my husband’s hometown in many years and it was nice to find such a wonderful place to stay. Clean as a whistle, great A/C, friendly staff, and great breakfast. We will be back.

Everything was amazing! The hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choices everyday, including a different egg and meat choice daily. The coffee was fresh and hot. I will stay again when we return!! Special shout out to the night desk worker - I can't for the life of me remember her name :( - who comforted my 5 y.o. who came in crying on last night there because we were leaving in the morning and she was going to miss her great Oma (grandma) who we came to visit. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! Thank you Hampton Inn for making our stay feel like home!

Good hotel, convenient location. My only complaints are the lack of water pressure in the shower. In addition, why do they have these childrens toilets with no grab bars to help elderly get up?

The girl at the front desk when we checked in was very friendly and made good recommendations. We are moving back to the area and just needed somewhere to stay after looking at houses and this place was perfect. Very clean

I was highly offended when the front desk clerk called the police on me and my fiancé because we were sitting in our van smoking a cigarette because of the bad weather. Then when I asked to extend our visit an extra day he told me the price would be as much as our entire visit and he would take another deposit from us and we couldn’t keep our same room . Basically made it very difficult for us to even extend our stay. After driving 10hrs to visit family and friends I expected way better from this establishment. No one was at the desk when we checked out so I left our room keys on the counter and they charged me $6.50 for doing that. On top of I still haven’t received my $50 deposit they said I would get once we checked out. Absolutely ridiculous and I highly doubt I would recommend this place to anyone I know and care about.

I signed up for contactless sign in and when I arrived to the hotel said they had canceled my reservation. I had to call an Uber in the middle of the night to take me 45 minutes away.

Hampton Inn in Lincolnton NC is the place to stay when visiting there!! Check in was easy, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast is amazing...selections for every eater. The room was very spacious and very very clean! Bed is very comfortable, nice chair and ottoman. Bathroom very spacious, big shower..nice lightning. Great amenities! Location close to alot of stores and restaurants. Recommend 10 out of 10!!! My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay!

Refrigerator in my room didn't work. Had to move to another room. 2nd floor ice machine either broken (or emptied by an inconsiderate guest?) Had to go to another floor for ice. Otherwise all was fine. Staff was very nice.

Checkin was 2pm arrived at 2:30 room was not ready told needed 20 mins they said maid was already cleaning left and returned in thirty min room was not ready had to wait 10 more mins.

Visted family for the holidays. This is the nicest hotel in Lincolnton. The bed and pillows are fantastic. NOTE to manager- please fix the many lighta that are burnt out on the outdoor signs and lights that are suppose to light up the building outside.

The property was convenient for my work location. Restaurants in driving distance. Facility was clean. Room was clean and comfortable. Hreat pillows.

Clean and quiet. Beds a little soft but that’s my issue due to back surgery. Repeat visits each trip. Don’t fix it if it’s not broken.

Note- the outside Hotel Sign lights need replacing (not sure why I noticed but I did). The inner part of the signs that has the words Hampton Inn in white letters isn't lighting up at night.

Well i didn't like that when i got to the hotel and got told that Expedia put me and my husband in a double queen room instead of what i reserved 🙃 😐 not cool 😑 😐 i reserved a king room and did not receive that 🙃 we took the roomand it was very clean and tidy and the service was great,but i would have like to have gotten what i reserved. I was arriving early in the morning and my reservation was for the day before. They did a check in over the phone for me and when I got there I was all checked in and was able to go right to my room. She was even assisting another customer and stopped assisting her for a brief moment to hand me the cards to my room. Excellent service!!!

We had a great stay

Met the Hampton Inn standard. Clean enough. A little threadbare in places. Parking plentiful and easy. In our room, well-used carpeting and individual air conditioning unit made for a musty taste to the air. Plastic “massager” shower head was flimsy and noisy--but worked if you did not fiddle with it. Breakfast buffet offered the usual. Seating seemed to us needlessly plush, with sofas and loveseats next to low tables and just a couple of square dining tables with straight-back chairs. Weekend we stayed was not crowded, guests and (small) staff were pleasant. Daily rate seemed high for what we paid for.

Very well run. Staff and property well above average in cleanliness and operation.
