Very loud, could hear the water pipes from others showering incredibly loud, toilets flushing people running and banging all night

I was only there for 1 night while waiting for an early morning plane. It was good but a little loud at night.

Everything about TownPlace was excellent. The breakfast, the staff was very polite and helpful. Also my room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I visit a hotel at least once a month, so far this is one of the best. I will be visiting again.

This place worked for me because: I was able to have a quiet room not facing the BBQ/pool area, the windows open (about 15cm / 6") for fresh air, and there was just enough kitchen utensils, etc., with everything functioning OK (fridge, stove) to be workable for a week-long business trip. The Wifi was decent, the water pressure & hot water good, etc. Sorry, not commenting on pool, b'fast, etc. The elevator ding-dong was annoying (who thinks that is requisite to be so loud??), but if I need to be in the area again, I will stay here again.

Good home base for our trip to Baltimore to see a game at Camden Yards.

Very convenient and safe area. We started here to go to an Orioles game. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The pool area and outside seating area was fantastic. Breakfast was fresh and really good.

The room and the entire hotel were immaculate. The staff was visible, efficient, and friendly. Great value for the money. Would definitely return.

I like the location of the property and the space especially when traveling with children. My issue was the bathroom sink wasn’t working and the toilet took several flushes to clean. I don’t think they should rent rooms if they aren’t ready or properly serviced.

The hotel was under renovation, which I was not aware of prior to booking. It made it difficult to take advantage of the amenities. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere.

Hotel was under construction wish I would’ve knew that prior to arriving to the hotel. It was really embarrassing due to the fact that I was there for business and for the bosses birthday as well as the elevators were not properly working so we had to take steps from the third floor. Which was horrible due to medical issues

The property is worn down. The carpet smells like smoke and the microwave sounded like it was going to explode. People were very loud in the other room and you could hear through the walls. The staff are very polite and nice. Breakfast was awful. Very few selection.

There was a strong smell of marijuana in the hallways, elevator, & stairwell. We could also smell it in our room. Thought this was a non-smoking establishment. Thermostat in our room wasn’t working properly. We turned it off while we’re gone during day to return to a room that was 76 degrees. We didn’t report it because we were in and out a lot and I don’t like anyone in my room and I’m not there.

The airport shuttle was hard to find because it had another hotel's name on it. The sheets smelled musty and there was leftover hair on the shower walls. The breakfast didn't taste good (I had oatmeal & coffee). The people in the hotel room next to me were loud and partying at 1:30am. There was a homeless woman hanging out on a bench outside of the front door who was talking to herself about prison and proceeded to take the airport shuttle with us which was a little scary for my child. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful when I arrived, but I wasn't happy with the attitudes of the two women in the morning who were difficult to reach over the phone.

I stayed on 12/31/2025. The room was clean. But there was a creaking sound above my floor late into the night that made me awake. The breakfast service was really bad. My family went to eat 20 mins before the end of breakfast time. There was not much left and as people came after me to eat, the custodian just walked around saying that today was a slow day and am glad that I don't have to throw away food without refilling any of the empty containers. There were at least 8 to 10 people who came after me staring at empty containers. To few people who came in the last 10 mins, I clearly heard the custodian say that "There is nothing much left". In contrast, during my long road trip, I stayed in couple of Hampton Inn locations. The staff there continued to refill empty food containers until the last minute, even keeping the stations open past the end time for families who were still eating to make sure they are taken care. My intention is for Marriott to rectify this issue.

Wish I had chosen another hotel. Very noisy neighbors kept us up all night. We got about two hours sleep. Walls are thin. Decor + lighting are depressing. What I thought might be a nice extra night of vacation turned into an unpleasant experience. When I mentioned the noise at the front desk, they didn’t seem to care. There are a number of hotels near the airport. I’d pick a different one.

I really enjoyed my stay at TownePlace Suites as I always do when I’m in town. 4 stars because this particular time, we were not able to watch the tv due to the internet not working.

We had a small issue, but was quickly accommodated. The staff were kind and made everything as smooth as possible. I would stay here again.

Very nice room for a solo traveler the night before flying out. Clean and comfortable with nicely equipped kitchenette. Rated 4 instead of 5 because the elevator near my room was out of order requiring me to make a long trek from the desk to the other elevator and then all the way to the other end. Hallway is a little dim, or maybe just not very cheery. I would definitely stay again, though. Especially if they fix the elevator.

We stay at this hotel sometimes when we have to fly out of BWI. However, we wanted a quick getaway to relax and away from the house. Since our flights are usually in the middle of night, we normally are not able to get breakfast. We had breakfast every morning and they had something different every morning like fried/scrambled eggs, corn beef and hash, turkey sausage, french toast, bagels, yogurts, and other things. Everything is flavorful. One morning, the fire alarm came on during the breakfast hours and they extended the breakfast a little longer. The staff was pleasant even check in was easy. When I reported that the elevator stopped working in the middle of the night, they were able to reset it right away. There were no issues after that. It is close to restaurants and gas stations. It was quieter than most hotels because people are usually in and out with their flights. We will definitely stay longer again.

It was an average hotel, not good but not bad; first night was extremely noisy but was a Friday. But the people at the front desk were extremely nice and professional and pleasant. Overall it was ok.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good with several options to chose from. The hotel is close to restaurants within easy driving distance. My only complaint is that I had to wait at the front desk when checking in for more than a reasonable time. When I looked around for a receptionist, I couldn’t fine one.

My room was situated right next to the elevator and it made a loud beeping noise every time it was in use; so you know it was beeping all the time. It would wake me up really early in the morning!

The first room smelled strongly of smoke. The second room had a loud beeping sound outside it every minute or so. The out to the hallway was about as sound proof as tissue paper. The gas firepit was pleasant. The breakfast was good. The room was decent, even if it was deceptively advertised.

Awesome staff

We booked the two bedroom suite. It was huge, pretty comfortable, bed, bedding, everything you want. It had TVs in living room and both bedrooms which is nice for space and privacy. The hotel is a perfect spot if you are flying out of Bwi or even visiting dc and Baltimore as it’s a very short ride to Baltimore, and depending on traffic, as quick as 25 minutes to dc. The area around is certainly suited for travelers and doesn’t have any too sketchy neighborhoods. Bathroom could use a slight upgrade.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the morning buffet was terrible. No hot coffee, no cream, and luke warm food. The gal in charge wanted to sit in her side room and had to be told by several of us that the items were cold or depleted (at 7 am mind you).

The place was nice- but it smelled like they had dumped an entire bottle of fabuloso cleaner in our room to cover something up. We had to open the windows and leave for a few hours (went and got dinner) to let it air out but through the night it was difficult to sleep in there. We should of said something but the hotel seemed pretty full so we just covered our faces with pillows to be able to sleep.

The only complaint I had was there were two Towneplace hotels at BWI (two different towns) that confused us and ultimately our family ended up making reservations at different places when we all wanted to be in the same hotel.

The room and complimentary breakfast were both very good. The only problem we had was the free shuttle service from the airport. We waited over 45 minutes then had to take Lyft. Nobody told us that the shuttle was marked Westin.

The room was clean but the comforter had a hole in it. That was the only negative. Everything else was very good. This is our Third time staying at this hotel. $100 dog fee(didn’t like that)

The problem was booking on Expedia - clicked for free parking and room description said free parking up to 7 days then daily parking fee after that. Was gone for 4 days and had to pay extra for 3 days parking. Feel misled by the Expedia listing. Hotel nor Expedia would made amends.

The mattresses were too low to the ground and were terrible. Neither one of us could sleep. The answer are way too soft. It feels like it’s just an old mattress. Room is very dated bad experience.

We had a fantastic experience in a clean and spacious room. The staff was helpful with our extra requests, and the halls and surroundings were quiet. I wish the pool's seasonal timing had coincided with our stay, as it is a beautiful pool for laps.

I didn't use much of the amenities. I just needed a place to sleep and catch an early morning flight from BWI. It's worth the price I paid. The gym was decent enough with a couple of treadmills and an elliptical. Parking was very easy. Don't know much about the breakfast. Didn't get to use the Suites part of it. Microwave, and the cooking range looked nice and clean.

It is old and needs renovation. Sofa mattress is in terrible shape and old spring that poke your back in every place. The most uncomfortable 2 noght I have ever slept in a hotel. It is disappointing that this is a Marriott hotel. I told the staff to change it but it nothing happened

We chose this property because of the long term parking and airport shuttle. The property itself was great. Excellent clean room etc. The shuttle experience was horrible. We had our luggage and called the hotel at 1am. Took a total of 4 phone calls while we waited at bwi with our kids as we watched everyone else get picked up by their shuttles at the arrival gate by the signs for outside hotel pick up. It turned out that this hotel picked up people at the departure gate upstairs. The driver supposedly came and went twice without calling me even though I gave the hotel desk my number the first time I called. Never got picked up until 2am.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and an airport shuttle.If you're looking for their airport shuttle, they don't pick up at the normal courtesy hotel shuttle spot. This created a lot of confusion and irritation since this was the first time for me at Baltimore airport. When I was waiting over an hour for shuttle and called the office two or three times they told me to go to the upper level which I thought I was on and go to door number five which I thought I was at because the area said location number five. I explained to them exactly where I was and The manager finally told me our van doesnt pick up at the normal courtesy shuttle place. Needless to say I was extremely irritated. And they weren't able to give me any directions from where I was to where I needed to be. So I ended up taking taxi. Once I got to the hotel, Front desk person or manager didn't acknowledge what happened even though they had my name and I spoke to a manager while on the phone about the shuttle. It would have been great for them to say hey. Sorry about the confusion with the shuttle, I'm glad you got here. Okay or something to that effect . But nothing. The person at the desk was friendly and helpful. The rooms were good. My room was very noisy being above the pool, and the general condition of the hotel was ok. Breakfast was good. I don't think I would stay here again but others may find it to be fine. Just get clear directions if you need the shuttle and have never been there

The property was clean, the staff was friendly, the room was great. The pool area was clean and free of debris. What stunk, literally, was the smell of marijuana outside. Anytime I walked outside my child and I would pretty much receive a contact high. Pretty sure that this is not something easily controllable. It’s just frustrating as a parent.

This was a great hotel. The service of checking in all the way to checking out was amazing. The room was clean, comfy, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The pool was open from noon til 8 pm and well kept (5 feet deep). Towels for guests are kept around the pool area. They also have a lounge/grill area. Breakfast had plenty of variety with hot and cold options. The staff are very kind, responsive, and all around sunny disposition. The area is safe and has a few dining options. It's located near downtown Baltimore. There were plenty of families checked in. There is a laundry room on site (cost very cheap to use). They even had board games you could borrow. I would definitely stay here again.

We meant to be at another nearby property to meet up with other family members. However, they were fortunately not too far from each other.

Friendly and efficient front desk staff. Updated hotel. The mattress was extremely soft and caused me and another member in my group to have a really hard time sleeping. This may be an excellent sleeping option if that’s your preference.

My husband and I had our 2 dear friends want to join us for a concert. I booked our rooms etc. all last minute. We had so much fun. The lady who checked us in at guest service desk was amazing. The rooms were very clean. Even the housekeepers were extremely personable, helpful and very nice.

Rooms were smelly and false advertising regarding breakfast. Pool was there but no water was in it. First room I was assigned was on first floor where the windows were up and smelled like it had just been exterminated. I asked for another room and it smelled of smoke. In the morning we came down for breakfast and none was available. When we mentioned to the kitchen staff about the lack of food, they were not apologetic at all. They said “we are cooking some food”. We waited about 10 minutes with about 20 other guests for food and none appeared. I left with my family hungry searching for somewhere to eat. Families look for hotels that are non smoking and that offer breakfast for a reason. We are now forced to pay for breakfast when we thought it was included in our hotel stay.

The breakfast was lacking. Did not stay stocked during service. Also the hallways are very long and the elevators are not conveniently located.

Check in was easy but we did not have extra beddings and when we called housekeeping they were rude and made us go downstairs to pick them up!

We booked this at the last minute and were impressed from the start. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was super. The layout was great with a full fridge with a freezer. The grounds were very nice with outdoor eating options. The breakfast was one of the best included meals we have had in a long time. Nice variety and quality. The bed was very comfortable. All in all we would rate it very high in terms of value.

Hotel was nice however, shows the hotel is pet friendly. We have a 4 pound papillon, they charged me $100 pet fee! That is absolutely ridiculous and I have never had to pay more than $50. I recommend that you list the pet fee on the pet friendly hotels so your users aren’t blindsided by this ridiculous fee.

The room was very clean and the staff I interacted with were very nice and helpful. The only issue I had were the carpet edges. I had a hard time getting over them with my wheelchair. If someone didn’t help me then I wouldn’t have been able to do it but otherwise really enjoyed my stay

Stated at this property overnight since we had an early flight out of BWI. The staff was exceptionally nice. We walked across Nursery road to grab dinner at Glory Days. We always eat there when we stay by the airport. So far-this is the best hotel I have stayed at in the hotel area. Definitely plan to stay here again,

My daughter’s flight was changed to later in the day and we were able to do a later check out. So thankful for that. The young women at the desk during the day was extremely helpful and polite ( I am sorry that I cannot remember her name)

Ive been to thos location several times. Something has changed. I was given the wrong room. The room wasn't properly cleaned. I found a condom in the closet. The staff weren't very friendly at all. There was one front desk staff that was great. The rest of the experience was awful. To add insult to injury, when I shared my concerns, the person that contacted me was very rude and dismissive. Ive been a Marriott member for 10+ years. I have never had an experience like this.
