The only positive part of our experience was the young lady at the front desk when we arrived. She was friendly, helpful, and assisted us with booking the shuttle for the next morning. Unfortunately, the rest of the customer service was lacking. The front desk employee at checkout seemed half asleep, repeatedly yawning and offering little more than a nod when I told her we were checking out and waiting for the shuttle. The shuttle arrived at 6:07 a.m., even though we had been told 6:15 a.m. Assuming it was there to pick us up, we approached the vehicle. Instead of a friendly greeting, the driver immediately scolded us, saying, “You’re not supposed to be here yet, I still have to go to other hotels.” He eventually loaded our luggage and allowed us to ride, but the interaction left a very negative impression. Who gets scolded for being eight minutes early? Not a “good morning” or a friendly hello—nothing. Between the uncomfortable accommodations, neglected property, and poor customer service, I will not be returning and would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel room was tattered, used coffee filter left in the in-room coffeemaker, carpet and tiles were "grimy". Hotel staff surly and no other coffee station or service offered in the lobby. Won't stay again however the BWI Marriott is quite nice, restaurant/bar open until 11, Starbucks coffee in the lobby and VERY nice staff.

We drove in from Atlanta, GA the night before, and prior to starting our trip I called the hotel to confirm the address using the number from my confirmation email. The young lady I spoke to asked for my Confirmation number, then my name, and then provided me with the address. We'll, 10 hours later, upon arriving Olivia asked for the same information at the front desk only to tell us that we did not have a reservation, and we needed to contact Booking.com to figure it out. Well, when I asked how it was possible for one person acknowledge the reservation 10 hours earlier but now you don't have it. She was not accommodating at all. She asked me to provide proof of the dates of our stay. When I showed her that, she still maintained that we did not have a reservation. It was only when my daughter inquired whether my name could have been transposed ( first name last) did she all of a sudden find us. There was no apology from her, nothing. I was very disappointed with an establishment carrying the Marriott name. Then to add insult to injury, upon checking out, my husband asked for a receipt, she was very dismissive in telling him he would have to get it from his 3rd party, which we have not received.

Also, the benches in the restaurant area are peeling. It is something that needs to be addressed.

No, they didn't come for long. The nearby hotel shuttle helped us to drop off at the hotel. It was 1 am in the night.

I enjoyed the balcony and the couch in the room. It also had a lot of storage space. There was no hot water during my stay. They couldn’t accommodate and did not have anyone to fix it on staff. That is not something that can wait. The staff was friendly enough, but my issue was never resolved. The hallway also reeked of cigarette and recreational smoke.

Only one working ice machine downstairs, and I was on the 2nd floor. I had to change rooms, because TV in initial room didn't work. Also no microwave in itial room. They moved me without hesitation.

The room was clean and the staff was very nice. The hotel and room just look and feel a bit old. That is probably the unavoidable nature of being an inexpensive hotel near an airport. We would have no problem staying there again though.

It is a Marriott - it was a great check-in with helpful staff in one of our fav properties!

2 small issues... toilet paper was almost the equivalent of sandpaper. Really?!?!?! And surprised the tub lacked bars for safety in getting in and out of the tub. Everything else was outstanding.

The staff was very courteous !! 5 Stars ⭐️ for only them for sure . They were very accommodating & we greatly appreciated that . The amenities at this location were no where near modern, the front entrance area where the eating and is not appealing , the room was ok to stay at for only a short time. I wouldn’t stay more than a day and I would highly suggest eating & enjoying time outside of the hotel throughout that day so you can just shower sleep and check out early in the morning. Hope this review helps someone .

The water for hot tea wasn’t hot it was warm.

I stayed at the Courtyard for 7 nights and plan to stay again for a few nights at the end of December. I had a very pleasurable experience and really don't have anything negative to say but will say that hotel is for sure a little dated but my room was very exceptional clean and housekeeping was excellent although most don't speak English so it was difficult to communicate with them. The only negative l found was with the shuttle pick up from the airport when l arrived. The shuttle is shared between at least 3 other properties and when you call for a pickup communication is not clear about that. It was cold and l waited a significant amount of time so l ended up paying for an Uber to get out of the cold. They have several streaming service options which is another nice plus. I would definitely reccommend this hotel and its in a great area with lots close by.

My room was clean and the hotel quiet. The van driver and young man at the food bar were personable and welcoming. Otherwise it was the usual perfunctory, anonymous experience all too common these days.

We stay here when my Cheer teams go to competition every year. When i talked to the front desk i was told because i booked through a third-party (expedia) that they would have to call and confirm my stay/booking ??! I am more than 100 miles from home. I would like a refund on at least one day. We were dirty sweaty and extremely uncomfortable...

Our flight was delayed overnight and needed a hotel room to rest. I was very impressed with the hospitality we received which included prompt shuttle services, friendly staff and a very clean room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the BWI area.

Was given a room next to the elevator shaft. Bother me during the night otherwise it was a nice room.

Totally new spacious rooms; had 2 queen beds and a large TV with excellent cable. Bathroom with tub and great showhead. Price was so good compared to the other local properties; and I needed a 4:30am shuttle to the airport. This hotel was perfect for anyone needing convenience to BWI with early departure time.

Charge $35 for early check in or late checkout. Not handicapped friendly at all. Breakfast was good. Room was just ok-like a road side motel. People walking/talking right outside window a lot. No safe. Pillows on bed were lousy.

This property was very disappointing amenities listed stated they have a pool. However there is no pool and the staff state it has been closed for years. Bistro was not open at listed bpurs of operation.

The bed is uncomfortable and the shuttle was not in time for my flight, so the shuttle came when it wanted to. Also it takes forever to get your refund from the $20 hold.

I never do reviews, but felt it necessary to do this one. I have stayed at Marriott properties since 2000 this was by far the worst. I’m not sure how it warrants a 4.3 rating. We found a bug in her bed and a fire alarm went off as we arrived that evening. We ended up not spending the night but driving onto our final destination.

I asked him how reliable the wake up calls were because I had an early flight Monday morning. He showed me how it was logged in with a 3:00 a.m. wake up call guaranteed. Lucky for me I’m a light sleeper. Never received the wake up call and when I tried to check out I was told by the young lady. “Just put your keys in the drop box” I questioned why I didn’t get my wake up call and she looked at the log and said “ Oh well, guessed I missed it”. When I asked if there was any coffe her response was “ We don’t have any of that “SH?? this early” what a way to start my day.

Amazing 10/10 we had to stay at that God awful la quinta downtown because options were thin. The Lady at the reception I forget her name but she was amazing she let us in 4 hours early of our check in she heard our story and responded amazingly.

Front desk staff was first rate. The facility is somewhat dated, dingy and shows many years of use.

Side door was supposed to be locked and was not when I entered from side parking lot at night. I alerted front desk staff, and they said they would check on the door situation. Hallways were a bit dingy for a Marriot bur room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and quality linens. Location was convenient and good value.

Some staff were not very welcoming poor people skills,the hotel needs updating,the craftsmanship of the hotel was very poor,my room didnt have cold water,the room wasn't cleaned daily ,i had to ask for towels,the pool and hot tub was closed ,and the starbucks bistro was only open for a short time in the morning,the good thing is the bed was comfortable i just didnt care how the room was layed out overall i wont be staying here again

I reserved a room with two Queen sized beds. The beds were clearly not queen sized but smaller than a double bed. I brought this to the attention to hotel management who simply acknowledged this fact. I believe that if a customer pays for something that is what should be provided.

I like staying at Marriott because of the consistent quality at each property. The one downside at this location was the very worrisome stains on the couch, which made me worry about how clean everything else was.

It’s says while you are booking breakfast is included but we ended up not having breakfast.

Property is run down dirty old and we found a roach in the room we went dow to front desk checked out and told they would refund our stay when expidia call the property for a refund they refused to isue it and said it was non refundabule at that point it did not matter we would not have stayed worst place I have ever see sray away
