Sleep Inn Little River - North Myrtle Beach

Our first room was so damp we had to move to another room. The second room’s ac made loud noises all night. The beds are not very comfortable and everything from the remote to other things in the room felt dirty. I would not recommend staying here unless you can’t find another spot. The breakfast is nothing special. The staff were very kind. That’s really the only positive.

The room was full of fruit flies. The toilet was not attached to the ground. The air conditioner shut off every 10 minutes. The ice machine didn’t work.

Hallway smelled like cigarettes even though no smoking in hotel. It was dog friendly, and the pet owners did not clean up after their pet. When I checked out, not friendly, didn't ask how everything was. I don't think I will stay there again!

Had a water leak from the room above and water leak ito my room and clean the water up out side and never changed the wet ceiling tiles. They used my shower as a drain but never cleaqned the dirt out of my shower , wifi was horrible, breakfast was ok, and hallways smelled like smoke

The room we stayed in, seemed to be damp, the carpet didn’t seem like it was fully dry in the bathroom had signs of black mold.

Great staff, very helpful and polite. The property is clean and comfy. The washer and dryer weren't working for us to use during our stay which was quite a bummer, but the breakfast which is FREE!! In the morning is great! Not just coffee and muffins y'all, we talking the works! My sons and grandson enjoyed the pool which is inside and outside. It was great for the entire family! Definitely recommend and will stay again!

Front desk clerk very unfriendly. Very rough remodeling job throughout room. No Fox News on TV. Fake, awful syrup on breakfast buffet. Office chair in room rather than an upholstered armchair.

Friendly staff Building was dirty and very out dated. Many small maintenance issues would make a big impact. Breakfast was hardly anything. Beds were very hard and extremely uncomfortable. U.S. Flag was torn to pieces during Memorial Day wknd. We told the manager about the flag and he did change it. Only 2 lounge chairs at the pool. Whole place just seems dirty.

We booked here as it was recommended for the Blue Crab Festival. The wi-fi was not connected to the internet, therefore there was no way to connect to email, etc. The staff had no idea where the satellite parking was for the festival and most didn't even know there was a festival. The highlight here was going down to get a coffee and yogurt. The staff here was always pleasant and the coffee was always hot.

Very dated. Had mold and room look like a dog had tore up wall. Shower had huge areas paint chipped off. Ceiling fan blades were dropping.

It was so quiet and relaxing. My room was around the corner from the elevator and I was worried I would be kept awake from guests using the elevator. Once I closed the door to my room, I heard nothing from the hallway or elevator. Loved everything

Room was clean. No service between days. Noisy fan somewhere behind our bed wall. Being told there was a daily dog fee after we arrived.

Ceiling fan very noisy - I turned it off. Bed uncomfortable- I had to put up with it. Wall in room damaged.

The property was showing its age my first room. The TV wasn’t working properly. They had to exchange rooms on me didn’t even offer assistance. The carpet in the room was filthy dirty not very happy with my experience.

Pretty basic When we arrived it was dark. Walked it to super dim entrance had to ring several times before a woman showed. No Southern greeting we have been experiencing. Very to the point and see ya later! The dim entrance was very off putting! Morning staff very pleasant

The breakfast was good, but hot food like eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes would've made it great.

Beyond that, the repairs and replacements done over time were not up to professional standards. Water pressure was also low. For the total cost, I'd look for different accommodations next time.

The breakfast was nasty. The location is OK. I didn’t like that the pool was not open. They said the pool was going to be open. The pool wasn’t open. They lied. I don’t like that that TV doesn’t work like that. I don’t like that the cable does not work like that. The Internet doesn’t work in there computer and printer, and also the washing machine.

I was lied to upon booking and checking in from hotel and hotels.com….there is no mini golf or affiliation with the mini golf. I was told it was free and then discounted.. none of the above is true. I called before booking about pool and was told they had indoor and outdoor pools and were in use. Neither pool is functioning

The room and bathroom was small, but adequate size since we only slept there. Unfortunately, when I hit the bed at midnight, the linens and pillows had a funky smell, like old sweat. We wondered why the window was open when we got there. Good location.

The room clean and the water was hot. The telephone had been painted and the sheets were too small. The curtains were dirty looks like they had blood on them. The breakfast was fair, the coffee was hot and the little old lady was friendly and kept the place clean. I think with some renovations and new furniture, you could definitely be a four star!

My first night the toilet was disgusting and it didn't get cleaned until the next morning. The washer and dryer wasn't functioning. The heat didn't work properly. They day after it snowed it wasn't any body there to clean the room. But the staff was concerning and very kind?

The bathroom toilet was broken. I went to front desk at 8am and was told no maintenance employee was available til after 5 pm. No one came or called me that night or the next day. Unreal!!!

Lady very rude and unfriendly from the start. Tan my card it said approved and I signed my 17 year old son staying next to me he saw everything. She told me my card declined 3 times. It did not the last. It took $193.50 and that wasn’t even the total cost for the stay. I have all the proof. The cops got called. She told me and my family we wasn’t aloud in that hotel bc we found out she in fact stole my money!! Cops said this isn’t the 1st report of this by the same manager at this hotel.

Just a average stay at best. A four story hotel with no ice for 3 days. The ice machine on 3rd floor has been broken for 6 plus months and the 1st floor ice machine broken for 3 day. The indoor pool that they advertise was out of order along with the workout room during my stay.

Hotel is in a rundown part of town, very sketchy location. Room and hallway reeked of someone smoking weed. Mold on the curtain shears, and lastly no hot water in the shower. Horrible, stay at you're on risk! Never again.

It's obviously an older property but seems to be taken care of pretty well. It is convenient to family that lives in Little River.

We had damp dirty carpet. The rooms smelled. The room keys had to be re- keyed 3-5 times a day. I would never stay there again.

I brought a pet. They gave me a room on the first floor. My complaint is that the carpet smelled moldy I could not stay. Now you got a chance to they should put or tile floor in the rooms. They did not have any other rooms to switch me.around. I do appreciate the hotel refunding me the second night.

Standard hotel but the key card didn’t work for us. The bathroom door was broken and the breakfast was very low effort. Nothing cooked just a waffle iron and some microwaveable croissants. Pretty terrible, but they had hot coffee. Staff are friendly, rooms were clean. Gets the job done but not well.

. My husband had to go get a oxygen tank so I could breathe. Too late at night to find another place to stay. We tried. So the next morning we checked out. The manager was very nice . Yes expedia finds you a good rate because they get yhe units hotel's dont want to fix units up. I will be watching everywhere to make sure this post is seen.

We asked for another room and that room smelled like dog pee. We booked another hotel and left. We asked for a refund and are waiting to see if we receive one.

The hotel is very old and dated. There’s cracks in wall and window seals. The carpet is old and the hotel smells musty, mildew, and closed in. The toilet was broke and had to have room changed. Overall i would never book here or recommend.

Toilet didn’t work so needed to get a new room. Showers leaked all over bathroom floor. Rooms smelled bad. Doors, walls, floors were dirty. Breakfast was supposed to be open until 9 but if the food was gone, they just closed up instead of restocking the items. Will not return.

Overall, for the price you get what you pay for - a clean room to spend the night. The property is dated, and for rooms not updated it is smelly. We stayed on 320 that is carpeted and prior guests had pets that urinated and that smell cannot be removed. Also the advertisement for mini golf onsite is not accurate. The hotel no longer owns it and there were limited hours. We never got to play. The breakfast was decent but there was no variety to the menu for staying multiple days. Staff was pleasant.

Check in lady was great. I asked about housekeeping. I was told that I had to request it. I thought I did, but received no housekeeping services during my stay. I will make sure, in the future, that I’ve really ‘requested’ services since this seems to be the (unpleasant) after Covid trend. Also, there are really no places to eat within walking distance. There is a McDonalds near by, but there are no sidewalks and it is on the other side of a major highway. You’d have to throw caution to the wind to get over there! Otherwise, the room was good, the bed was comfy, and it was quiet. Breakfast selections were okay. My only complaint room-wise are the teeny bed pillows. I don’t like those. Motel overlooks a nice golf course.

First room we had smelled like urine and the phone didn’t work. Second room didn’t have a smell but the bathroom was not clean. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and was trying her best to find a clean room.

Room was somewhat clean, big hole in the carpet in the middle of room, our and bathroom had rust, carpets throughout the hotel really needs a good cleaning. Abandoned building right next door, just not for us. The beds were okay, but on a positive note we did have clean sheets, blankets and towels. The indoor pool was nice and led to the outside, but pool needs a good cleaning as well.

First night , musty smell, when person in floor above took shower, water came pooring through light in bathroom. Front desk did move is to another roon, and the second room smelled like smoke really bad. It is supposed to be a no smoking facility.

Very nice place, our room had a large soaking jetted tub, which was wonderful. staff was attentive and friendly. The entire area was clean all the time we never tried the breakfast because it’s too early for us. The pool we wish had been heated, but ample towels down there, which is where these days in a hotel. It’s also very close to everything restaurants beaches.

Breakfast was a normal continental simple breakfast. The hotel is outdated and in need of repairs. The room was clean, it was quiet and in a good location. Very average hotel.

The 1st room they assigned to us smell like straight up cat spray. The 2nd room smelled much better but could have been in better condition. The bathroom door was a pocket door. The door lock had been cut out with a sawzall leaving a 4 inch hole. lol. The carpet was not in good condition and the furniture needs to be updated.

Conveniently located property near many golf courses, restaurants and shops. There is a golf course immediately behind the property. Indoor/outdoor pool was refreshing and clean. Small gym with two treadmills and universal gym equipment. Free continental breakfast. Pet friendly rooms are on the first floor…Room 124 seems to be the cleanest. Rooms #120 and 121 need updating; heavy pet smell and bathroom plumbing worked intermittently during our stay in these rooms. Front desk attendant was attentive when issues arose and was quick to relocate us.

Good for what i paid for! 9 mins from cherry grove and a ton of stuff to do near the hotel. Room was clean and nice but weirdly humid and stuffy.

They had dirty, sticky carpets. There was a fire hazard in our room(the clock wires were frayed). Also the closet was broken, had screws hanging and sticking out. The breakfast was terrible. The TV didn't work and there were no tubs on this property. Oh and lastly the pool was very dirty.

Good property for this hotel class. It’s surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to a major road. The shower is quite large with a nice door instead of those ridiculous curtains found at most other places - I liked that. I didn’t eat the included breakfast, but the coffee was rather weak. The front desk folks were friendly and efficient in their tasks; I didn’t interact with any other employees. I would stay here again - especially for the price I paid in the middle of summer in a beach town.

This hotel was terrible. We booked for 3 nights but could only stay for 1 night because of the conditions. The hotel smelled horribly like animal urine. The room was dirty and dated. When staff was told about it, they acted unbothered. Even staying there one night triggered a massive migraine and caused us to leave early. The hotel refused to issue any kind of refund at all. They take no responsibility for any of it or ruining our trip. 0/10

I would certainly stay here again. Check in check out processes were easy & simple. Staff was friendly, attentive & knowledgeable. My room did not disappoint, it was clean, quiet, linens were fresh, everything including appliances & bathroom fixtures all worked as they should. Plenty of hot water & awesome water pressure with a deluxe showerhead. I enjoyed additional amenities that were also offered such as the indoor/outdoor pool, free hot & cold daily breakfast as well as a small gym!! This place even has great views bc it sits right next to a par 3 golf course & driving range!!! What else can you ask for?!!!

The staff was great, very personable and the biggest reason to book here. However, the building is very much showing its age with water stains on the carpet, broken elevator, and broken side doors. The sheets had a tear and a hole in them. Other than that, the location is good and the cost was excellent!

It was an Oso too next to a golf course in a mini golf course I did have a close down restaurant beside it, but that didn’t bother us much. We liked watching the turtles in the back of the hotel and the toddlers I took with me really liked playing mini golf

The property appeared very neglected. A poor job was done on any updates that appeared to be attempted. In addition, the breakfast selection was very limited and only offered until 9 AM.

This stay was terrible. We arrived and rang the bell for service, a lady came out didn’t speak or anything, all she said was y’all must have just booked a room. Checked us in and sent us to a room that was occupied, went back and told her and no apology just said they shouldn’t be anyone in there. Then moved us to a different room. She never said what time check out was or breakfast or have a good night. Looked like she had been asleep.

It was good, however we rags when we got back from our day out. We were a little confused since we saw a cart outside other rooms, but not ours.

I'm in mechanical wheelchair and my stay was horrible. There was no hot water the room smell like mold I was moved to four different rooms. The whole place smells of dog urine. I was awakened at 3 AM with absolutely everything in the room wet from moisture that came from. I don't know where to get in my wheelchair. Go to the front desk ask for some change so I could wash 2 suitcases of cloths. They only had change for four dollars. I had to go at 3 o'clock in the morning to store get changed but soap And wash all of my clothes, then pack everything up to go move into another room, which I was had a hard time to shower. It was horrible that I've ever experienced.

While it is nice breakfast was included, there was VERY little to choose from. Rooms were nice, staff was very friendly. Everything popular in Myrtle beach is going to be about 25+ min away.

Exterior of the hotel is largely outdated. But convenient off main road. Interior of hotel is what you would expect for a 2or3 star hotel. When I got in the elevator, there was a big pool of water. Hallways are dingy. Room itself was decent. Linens appeared clean. But bathroom and shower was the smallest I've seen. Shower is a stand up with a door that is so slim it reminded me of what you'd see on a boat. Staff were friendly. Although every time I asked a question i was told only the manager could approve but the manager was never there. So I'd have to come back and somehow they'd suddenly talked to a manager (who still never appeared) to answer my question. I add this tidbit merely for extra (ratings are not reflected by this part of my experience as I was asking for an exception, but it struck me as odd). I had to leave a day early for a family emergency. Got a call in the middle of the night so I went to desk around 6am. I explained the situation and asked to check out early. He said to come back after 8 to ask the manager. I was hoping to leave before then but waited. But no manager was avail at 8, at. So I explained again to the new desk staffer - who said he had to ask the MGR. So I never saw manager but was offered credit for half of 1 night. I travel all the time. Exceptions for emergencies is not uncommon. To offer credit for just half felt odd. I've never heard anyone say they were offered half. I'm grateful to have gotten half back but again - felt ... kind ewe.

Bed frame was broken. Toilet leaked and wouldn’t flush. Could hear everything going on. Broken drawer that wouldn’t shut. Had to McGiver cable just to plug in the table lamp.
