    Overall I really enjoyed staying here. The only negative was that only 1 elevator was working during our stay which slowed things down a bit and our bathroom could have been cleaner, but staff was nice and the the breakfast was really good.

    Everything was perfect, clean and very accommodating. The ONLY concern was that we had our dog with us and when we first got to our room, our dog was sniffing around the room and found an orange pill and thankfully, he didn't eat it. The pill was under a small table. Moments later, my dog found a Hall's cough drop, still in its wrapper. Again, we were able to get it away from him before he ate it. Other than that, the room was great. The staff was very friendly and personable and I would definitely stay here again.

    The hotel was clean which is why I gave 3 stars. The mattress was cheap and we could feel every spring in it when sitting on it or laying on it. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch during our stay. When we asked the staff if there were other rooms with different mattresses, we were told all of them are the same. We asked for a mattress topper and they didn’t have any. We spoke to another staff member who asked us how our stay was going and expressed the issue with the mattress. She advised she would have a house keeper bring us extra down comforters to make it more comfortable but that never happened. The hotel states that it has a bar, which it does, but the bar was not open and we were told it won’t be open at all. The breakfast was not good. The eggs, potatoes and sausage tasted like microwaved leftovers. One of the worst hotel stays we have had in a while. Highly recommend booking Holiday Inn Express just a few miles from this hotel. We stayed there a few weeks ago and had a much better experience!

    The hotel was nice. I didn't have the breakfast and I didn't try the indoor pool so I can't speak on either of those. The bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. The 40' Samsung TV is on a movable mount. The shower has the wide curtain rods and good pressure with really hot water! The staff was super friendly! Parking with a 20ft boat was not an issue. I travel with a small dachshund so being pet friendly was ultimately the deciding factor on my choosing this hotel. I had 3 issues with my stay. The coffee maker still had the used coffee pouch from the last usage. Not that big a deal but I feel like housekeeping should check the coffee makers while cleaning the rooms. The shower had a few long hairs stuck to the wall so I'm assuming the shower wasn't cleaned properly. The ice machine on the first and second floors were not available so I had to make trips to other floors for ice. Also, if you're traveling with a trailer, the parking lot can be tight on some of the turns going around the building. Be aware. None of these issues will stop me from staying there again in the future, but I think that housekeeping should be a bit more thorough during the cleaning of the rooms and the ice machines should be properly maintained.

    This Hampton Inn is just down the street from Archie’s. It can get loud with motorcycles zooming by at night. The room was pretty clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were very nice and helpful.

    The staff was amazing the food was pretty good I love the rooms they were clean for the most part and everything was just well put together. not really much I didn’t like about the property it’s just that everything was kind of far and out of the way and there was a nail on our floor when we walked in but that wasn’t too much big of a deal

    Great location with a quick drive to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The breakfast was top notch with lots of options. We ate there every morning. Pet friendly! The room was clean. Bed was firm so keep that in mind. This location is right by the exit but was NOT noisy at all surprising. All the interactions with staff were pleasant.

    I walked back down and ask for a room change. They offered 121 or something on the 3rd floor. I asked for 121. They couldn't do that for some reason and so I said 3rd is fine. (My best friend is handicapped and has issues with walking.) Long story short, she jiggles the thermostat on the wall, and it began to work. Also, she used a flashlight to see the plug in for the phone, and it worked. All unnecessary issues if the room were checked after the last guest. (It was clean)

    Great trip! The hotel is nice and the service was great at the front desk. The room was decent, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. There were black marks on the toilet seat and in the bathtub. The marks on the toilet seat came off after I re-cleaned it myself, so it wasn’t reported. The room was serviced during our entire 3 night stay, which was nice.

    When I got to my room, I noticed that the lamp doesn’t work nor does the coffee pot. Neither of them were even plugged into the wall. There’s not an outlet on that wall so they just ran the power cables to the back of the entertainment center, but there’s no actual outlet to plug them in so they just flat out don’t work Couldn’t use the phone to call down to the desk so I had to walk down multiple times Front section to the air conditioner in the room is falling off of the unit There is mold in the corners to the bathtub. I did manage to get some of it cleaned out before I took a shower. Breakfast was pretty good though

    If i need to stay here again, I will stay, but i WILL NOT use hotels.com. Going through the third party created far to many problems during a time my family was mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. The Check in process took almost an hour (even with confirmation numbers). My family needed calm and peacefulness- but that is not what we found.

    Pull out sofa mattress had stains. The front desk found another mattress which had stains as well. He did get us a mattress cover. One of the sheets had blood stain which I gave to the front desk person. The water when taking a shower was only lukewarm even after running for few minutes. The shower was slow draining.

    The facilities could have been cleaner. Our toilet was not cleaned during the 4 days we spent there. We didn't get maid service on day 2, but we did the other days. The carpet in the hallway need vacuuming - which was done the second day. The breakfast foods could be upgraded.

    Check in was easy, done in the app. Thr room was nice, and the beds were comfy. However, the tv stand was falling apart, (not badly but enough that we had to be careful walking near it), and the bathroom. The shower had no water pressure, like at all! When using hot water, it made a loud thumping sound. But not a bad place to stay, and no i didn't report it to the front desk staff until i left as it wasnt a deal breaker.

    This hotel is ok. It was very affordable. There are a few upgraded,but it still needs some things fixed. The first room we were given didn't have a thermostat on the wall, so we were moved to another room. The 2nd room was a suite. It needed new furniture as the furniture in the living/tv room was outdated. The hinges on the door leading to the bedroom were rusty. This hotel receives a lot of noise from Hwy 17. The area around the hotel is very beautiful. This is a 2.5 star hotel and doable for a short stay.

    I thought I was safe paying a little more for a Hampton for my last minute one night stop over. Was always a good safe choice for me in the past and had become my favorite hotel chain. Until this one that is. The place was very dated. Upon arrival at check in I was pleasantly greeted by some surprising staff. I thought they were great but that’s where it ends. The elevator has seen better days. The hall carpet while updated was dirty and in need of a good vacuum. At 4:00 pm when guests are arriving you would think that would be done already. As soon as I opened the door to my room I was hit with an earthy musty old stale cigarette smell. I wanted to go right back to the desk and demand another room but I figured it wouldn’t be any better so I went straight to Walmart for Odoban and Febreeze! Sprayed everything of fabric in the room down to make it tolerably fresh. Holes and patches in the walls and dated old furniture tells the rest of the story. Toilet that constantly ran in the bathroom. All for a very inflated price. The most expensive in the area. I could have gotten much newer and nicer for cheaper a couple blocks away. I was relying on name and reputation. Well I am truly disappointed Hampton! I didn’t even bother with breakfast there. I wanted to sleep in but the maid kept knocking and disturbing me to clean my room. I was fed up and just got up and left. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Never Again! Time to upgrade my chain.

    Hotel was clean. Breakfast served was great! I like being able to go have a hot breakfast without leaving. It’s close to shopping and there is a restaurant within walking distance by the waterway. The only “cons” were that there was only one working elevator and the other one broke down during my checkout. Me and my friend with kids booked right behind each other but for whatever reason on 2 different floors. Front desk person would not accommodate her to move to my floor even though we were early checking in and not many people were there at the time. I will definitely book again.

    The hotel was clean, but most everything in the room was worn and in need of being replaced.The heater was so noisy, that when it came on it woke us up. The toilet made a loud whistling noise every time you flushed it until it filled up. The tv only had antenna tv. No guide, just had to scroll through each channel to find something to watch. The refrigerator was only warm. To make it worse on the morning we had check out the elevator was broke and we were on the fifth floor. I have a bad leg and it was very difficult to up and down stairs to load stuff in car. The staff were very friendly, but nothing they could have done to help. They were full so we could not change rooms. Felt like I was staying in a budget hotel, but we paid $222.00 a night. No bargain. We will not stay here again.

    Trip was great better than we expected. Front desk attendant I think Ms. Lily (middle aged black lady) was very as accommodating and helpful. Breakfast bar was amazing saved us money and the heated pool was a plus. Room could have been better, our room smelled of old socks and boots.

    The hallways and common areas were dirty and had many broken pieces of moulding and dirty carpets. Overall not what I would ever expect to see in a Hampton inn. Disappointed in the property conditions.

    The pool looked horrible! It needs to be maintained and have clean, clear water. It looked so green and cloudy I wouldn't even think about getting in it! Please fix the pool and make it clean and clear and safe. If it is safe, no one would know! If it isn't in a condition where people will want to use it, it should be closed and not advertised and rates should come down!

    The room had a smell like a dog 🐕 The shower had some mold and I herd someone else saying thet had the same problem with their shower . The water in tbe shower drained slow so you stood in a pool of water . We went to go in the pool but we changed our minds after seeing the water was a green tint with a strong smell of bleach or chlorine. The staff was very nice. Luckily this was a short stay for a day and a half.

    Nothing unique. Dirty pool, dirty carpet. Housekeeping dont clean unless u fill out a sheet to get ur room cleaned. Staff are rude and we will never stay there again.

    I did booking via Hotels.com, it was confirmed, I paid in full, when I arrived at the Hotel-Hampton Inn North Martle Beach-Harbourgate on July 15th after 7hour drive from Atlanta, I was told my booking was cancelled by the Hotel front desk reception. At 1 a.m. in the morning I was stranded with no room and tired 11-year-old son. It took Hotels.com 2 hours (3a.m) to get me a different hotel which I had to pay all by myself again, I was told Hotels.com will reimburse me the difference amount. All the waiting in hotel lobby listening to the hold music was horrible experience.

    Staff was very friendly with professional characters. The particular room I stayed in was fine overall however it appeared to have some storm damage by the window which resulted in some parts of the carpet peeling/buckling up from the floor. Rm 417 overall great experience
