    Extremely disappointed with my first and last stay at a Hilton. They charge a high 30% room deposit, the staff is rude, and the service is unacceptable. Our shower was stained, toiletries were half-empty, and I had to call three times just to get towels and tissues after housekeeping ignored my request. The hallways were dirty, and the elevators felt unsafe with an inspection tag expired since late 2025. The "pool" is just a 3-foot kiddie pool, drinks are heavily overpriced ($21 margaritas), and we were forced into a $40/night valet fee because self-parking was full. While the restaurant food was good and we enjoyed the Starbucks and the free ducks, the negatives completely ruined our trip. A total waste of money. Never returning.

    Accidentally booked the wrong day. Didn’t realize until it was too late and the hotel did not want to honor the stay and move the reservation by one day. We would have paid any difference in the cost. We had driven 6 hours with two children under the age of 6 and we explained that too but they didn’t care.

    Room was not pleasant at all we found someone’s dirty socks in between one of the chairs!! Room had a very eggy smell parking is 35 dollars a night even though there lot was always full staff wouldn’t answer calls when calling to the room was left on hold for 10mins then another 10mins just for them to not answer and hang up it’s a 200 deposit which is ludicrous the place is old and run down wasn’t a great experience for me and my family

    This hotel offers so much. Local transport to cruise port, restaurants and local attractions. There were flavored waters, tea and Arnold Palmer in the lobby. Well worth the money we paid.

    When we got there to check in the room wasn't ready but the person checking us in made sure to make our wait worth while. Comped our breakfast and gave us great rooms . I would totally book a stay again at this hilton location. Everything was great

    Location and parking were rough. Between self parking or valet parking, just do valet parking to save yourself the headache. There’s not a lot of self parking spots so I ended up walking towards the shopping/restaurant centers to avoid losing my spot.

    The room was a standard typical Hilton room. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was good, a good selection and efficiant. whilst I did not use the gym and pool they looked good. I stayed here for a convention, they offer a free shuttle which is great and it's only a 15 minute walk. They also offered a good selection of free waters in the lobby each day. The AC unit cranked and made loud noises throughtout the night which was disruptive. The shampoo and conditioner was not refilled which was frustrating.

    We stayed at the Hilton Long Beach right by the port as we were leaving on a carnival cruise the next morning. The staff that checked us in were very professional and friendly. I loved the ducks in the entry way and fountain. We took the free shuttle to the cruise port in the morning it was super convenient and the driver was nice.

    Please let your customers know in advance that they need to use their room key to operate the elevator. Also let your customers know that when the parking garage is full, you have to park across the street. And that the parking garage is dark with no lighting and that the hotel should have some type of safety officers on foot assisting customers.

    The Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and professional. Pool table and amenities were very nice. I traveled with my fiancé but the hotel was very kid friendly. Board games, pool table, shuffle board was all very nice. The complaint is that there is NO Hot tub or jacuzzi which could redirect my next stay.

    Best thing about our stay was the helpful friendly staff. Was disappointed that the room did not have a microwave oven or body wash soap. Window was very dirty but may because of lots of construction. Parking rate was outrageous and breakfast buffet was just okay for the cost.

    I felt the hotel was overpriced. We were really looking forward to a quiet relaxing vacation, hanging at the pool. Unfortunately, with being on Ocean Blvd, there were a lot of revved up cars and motorcycles driving by that spoiled that mood. Additionally, the pool had loud party music going on all the time and the pool was only three feet in the deep end. While it works for some, it wasn't what we had in mind, so we left early. On the positive side, the staff was wonderful, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was great. Choose your priorities.

    Hotel was very clean, updated, and comfortable. We were there for one night before our cruise and were pleasantly surprised they had a free shuttle to the port. Just make sure you get in line early if you use this service. It fills up quick. We checked out the pool which was small but much nicer in person than in photos. It was a nice spot to hang out in even to just chill and have a drink from the pool bar. Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Downtown area was easily walkable but the shuttle service also was offered. I would recommend this hotel and will likely stay here again before the next cruise.

    For the extra cost for parking it’s so narrow and congested, also the pool is very small and not enough depth and room for the kids to swim. It’s not worth for the money. The shuttle service is also not so frequent to near by shopping complex.

    Advertised heated pool did not seem heated. Would have loved to enjoy the Jacuzzi i saw in the photos. Balcony seating in my room seating for 10 only had cushions for 2. I dont remember his name, one gentleman working valet was completely nonchalant and totally took away from the valet experience. Everyone else was great. Overall experience was good. I'd give this hotel another shot.

    Cons: - Parking is a nightmare and expensive ($35/night) good luck finding a spot again if you leave. That parking structure is 80% reserved for the other revolving businesses. They basically force you to just valet. - The bathroom toilet didn’t flush correctly or at all at times. We’ve never been so afraid to go #2. They do offer an online form to report these issues. I’m sure they would have been attentive. We didn’t want to test it. So we only peed and left for other business. This just shouldn’t be a concern. - There’s this heavy funk of mildew everywhere. It smelled like mold and water damage. (We were on the 3rd floor) - The AC was set to 70 but stayed at 61. Not the worst issue (could have been too hot) but the AC should be adjusted to our preference. - There isn’t much security in the facility so you get overspill from the local streets roaming around. - It’s a hood hotel and with it comes the drama. People are trash here. This stay reminded us why we don’t do hotels and stick to Airbnb’s. Never again.

    When we arrived, we wanted to pay for valet parking in the garage. We were told there was no room so we had to drive to another parking garage, of site, and walk back. Check in time is at 4pm. We arrived at 9pm and still had to wait 30 minutes for "housekeeping to check our room". They advertise a free shuttle service to specific local attractions. I called down to request the shuttle to the Queen Mary. The person who answered said "just come down when you're ready to go and we'll get the shuttle for you". So we went down 30 minutes before our tour was scheduled. The attendant said. "ok, just go out front and I'll call for the driver". We waited for about 15 minutes and finally the same attendant came out to inform us that the driver would pick us up in "15 to 20 minutes". At that point we just had to call an uber so we wouldn't be late for the tour. We would never stay here again or recommend that anyone does.

    This hotel is very old and worn down, needs a very good cleaning (look up anywhere in the lobby or room and you will see years worth of dust. Bedside outlets & charging ports did not charge (they just fell out). The fabric chair had multiple stains, even had housekeeping come back into the room to vacuum because the floor had chip crumbs on it, and bring a blanket to cover the chair so we could sit in it. I also pointed out the fire alarm that was hanging from the wall and asked if it is supposed to look that way - the desk guy said he would send maintenance right up to fix, after about 2 hours I gave up waiting. The desk guy was the one to escort us to our room because this was the 3rd time trying to get into the room. General staff was very pleasant and appeared to be working very hard. Tonya with housekeeping was great and brought us everything we needed. Management was not engaged with the guests, I did see them often playing with the ducks in the lobby. The information that I could find for amenities was not the same as the front desk, parking is $35, $40 for valet, but when the lot is full (which it was) you need to park a couple blocks down the road and you walk back. The main reason I booked this hotel is it showed free shuttle to the cruise port (but only one of the ports, not the other). I also wanted to be able to do some laundry at the self-serve laundry which I found out was not available.

    The hotel itself was not bad. However, vehicle parking is another matter. As far I can remember, the hotel did not mention the cost of vehicle parking ($35.00 for self parking and $40.00 for valet per day) when I reserved the room. Furthermore, I selected self parking, however, there were not enough self parking space on several occasions, forcing us to use valet parking.

    Room could be more updated & cleaner given the price you pay. No fan in bathroom. Walls pretty thin & hear your neighbors. Valet parking $40 per night available, complementary late check out very helpful, excellent customer service, lobby waters, games to stay entertained was nice. Bar closed @ 10:35pm so no drink available as last call had past per the lady bartender.

    Love my stay at this resort! Everyone was great, check-in was smooth, they were very polite and attentive. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Taylor, the restaurant bartender was amazing, lemon drops were on point. Our waitress on the 1st night, Faith was so sweet. The bartenders at the pool were also great and funny: Pete, Jackson and Marshall. The lobster bisque at the hotel was so good, the grits were also seasoned very well. Beautiful beach and the heated pool was a plus. I will definitely be back here.

    The staff was great! The complimentary shuttle within a mile was really great and made our stay very affordable. The room was basic and the king bed became a little stiff after 10 days but the cleaning staff did a great job and was very respectful. The Loft restaurant was a 5 star experience and the waiters were very friendly. The complimentary drinks in the lobby were always a fun surprise and the ducks around the lobby were a fun accessory to watch people take a trade. The pool was a little small but hey had a nice gym. Customer service and hotel staff were very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. Our toilet and tub didnt flush/ drain very well but their shampoo smelt nice. The tv was large and the desk area was standard but nice. Lost star due to door slamming. Our room was very noisy all the time as we were upnext to a staff service elevator and the clunking and banging was a little insufferable.

    Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed that the lighting was extremely low and minimal, making the space feel dark and uncomfortable. It was difficult to see clearly, especially in the evening, and it did not create a welcoming or relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom vent was not working, which made the space feel stuffy and poorly ventilated. To make matters worse, there was an unpleasant sewer-like smell that lingered throughout the room, which significantly impacted our comfort during the stay. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. These issues made the overall experience far less enjoyable than it should have been. On a more positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and seamless. The valet service was excellent and made arrival and departure very convenient. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar, which provided a pleasant atmosphere. My kids especially loved the complimentary popcorn and hot cocoa, and they had a great time playing Jenga and using the pool table. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns to improve future guests’ experiences.

    We did not have access to warm/hot water and the staff said there was nothing they could do and that they would need to cut a hole in the shower wall to replace something (this was at 9 PM—after hours of trying to get help). They told us there were no rooms to move us to. They eventually found a room at about 10 and when we got there, there was a literal pile of toe nail clippings on the floor next to the bed. It was overall just a horrible experience and not the level of cleanliness or care you expect from a Hilton. Pass on this location.

    The room was in good condition, but the tub was a little outdated as were the curtains. It was rusty and wearing out. Everything else was very clean. The front staff wasn’t very welcoming and just seem as if they didn’t want to be there. Overall, it was a nice stay. I would say the best thing was the pool area and the restaurant/bar downstairs that stayed open late.

    At our arrival at the front desk, the staff member seemed passive and uninterested in checking us in. She didn't greet or welcome us. She asked for our last name, checked us in, and handed us our room key cards. That's it. She barely said 10 words to us. In fact, the entire front desk staff gives the appearance that they are unpleasant to talk to. Mind you, this place was not busy. The hotel is just old and run-down. Our room's fixtures and hardware are old and rusty. The toilet seat moves, and the windows are dirty. Our daughter used the swimming pool, and the skin around her neck turned blue. A quick search suggested the pool might have recently been painted and was not allowed to dry before the water was filled. We recently stayed at the Hilton Regency Waikiki a month ago, and even that location is so much better. The Hilton Long Beach needs to be remodeled, and the staff retrained to provide better customer service. Until then, I will never book with Hilton again.

    Parking was expensive and the hotel doesn't have enough parking spaces for their guests. Ended up paying 35 a night in just parking alone. Definitely won’t be returning into this location again.     Room smelled moldy, the phone did not work, and the bathroom door locked itself shut. My son shut the bathroom door as he walked out from his shower. I then tried to go in the bathroom, but the door knob froze as if it was locked. It was late and I tried calling staff and made several attempted calls, but every option on the phone had a busy signal. Finally, I had to put my clothes on and go down and talk to the front desk where two male agents and a security guard were hanging out talking. I informed them about the stuck bathroom door and they said they have had complaints from other customers about the same problem. The agents told me that it was after eleven pm and there was no maintenance staff available to help me with the stuck door. They said all they could do is move me to a different room, but it was late and my wife and kids were already asleep and all our luggage was unpacked. I then informed them I would work on getting the door open myself. I then asked them why the room phone was not working and they said they did not know why. At this point it was a moot point telling them about how the room smelled like mold. I was very disappointed in this Hilton property. Also the hallway to the room was filthy with bits of garbage and paper all over like it hadn't been vacuumed in awhile. We cruise out of Long Beach two to three times a year and always stay at a hotel the night before. We will go back to staying at the Queen Mary.

I self-parked at check-in, but it took me 20 minutes due to unclear instructions, plus I wasn’t given a parking pass to get out of the parking garage the next morning. The toilet paper holder was tilted, so the roll kept falling on the floor. One of the dresser handles was broken, as was part of the refrigerator. My side of the bed was well-worn. I used a pillow to prop myself up. No free WiFi.

    Had originally reserved a 1 king bedroom and was upgraded to a two queen bedroom with view of the pool area. The room was clean. The noise from the outside was loud. No fan in the bathroom.     Good value however even though this is supposedly a non smoking property there was very strong smoke odor coming from what seemed to be the air conditioning duct filter area of our room 1241. It smelled like smoke mixed with febreeze, got a nasty headache from it and was glad to leave ASAP, thank goodness it was only one night. Hotel offered to spray more febreeze, that would only make the problem worse for me as i'm sensitive to smell. The hotel is really good value for the money though and aside from the smoke febreeze smell, fairly clean, and fairly quiet.

    We went for the marathon, which was planned a year ago. We got to hotel for check in, and they were completely under prepared, we had to wait TWO hours after check in for our room. Not to mention, they were telling people who ran the marathon they couldn’t get late check out . Which is completely crazy and to be telling people who are there for an event that they specifically can’t get late check is ridiculous. I am going to be contact my rep with the marathon to recommend they no longer associate themselves with the Long Beach Hilton . The marathon had this hotel listed as a recommendation on the marathon site and it truly shouldn’t be. Got up to our room , there was stains on the sheets. The shower didn’t get hot and would turn off randomly while you showered . The light would turn off in the restroom on its own , and the door handle kept moving . Not only all of that, but I got bit by a spider some time in the night. We were treated completely rude ( along with everyone there ) by the bar tender. I will NEVER stay here again. And will recommend everyone to avoid completely . Such a disappointment for the amount we paid. I’d expect these type of issues from a motel 6 or extended stay. Not a Hilton. Absolutely disappointing and frustrated.

    Check-in was smooth sailing. The gym facility was great, just small, so you have to show up early or go late if you don't want to share machines. The restaurant inside the facility was superb; if you can have dinner there at least one night, you should. The elevators gave a bit of pause due to them being older - they were working on one of the bays, but every elevator I got in had me worried I might not make it. The rooms themselves gave a very "I just came here for work" vibe, and the bathrooms haven't been updated in a long time. I was surprised at the condition of the room, to be honest. It was clean and cool, the beds were comfortable; however, I definitely expected more from a Hilton property. The staff was all fabulous - not a single poor interaction, everyone was so helpful and sweet.

    A lot of things inside the rooms were not working like the AC unit was not working. It will go off at night and it wasn’t on auto and when the maintenance guy came he said it’s because the building was all the elevators door open before you get to the actual floor. They ran out of food often just not a good experience, but if you’re just looking for location, then it’s perfect but if you’re looking to get your monies worth, this is not the place.

    my room smells like cigarettes. I tried to call down stairs to make sure I was in a non smoking room and was out on hold twice and no one ever picked up again. upon arrival, I was told there was no bell boys and I had to bring my things up myself. At Enclave, the restaurant, our order was messed up twice and fruit flies were lingering over our food. All of this ….it was VERY disappointing.

    Exceptional customer service. From the daily iced tea and fruit infused waters, to the nightly snacks and the fun “Duck Tower” this hotel goes above and beyond in welcoming guests and emphasizing hospitality. Highly recommend and would definitely revisit!

    I would not stay here again. Property was clean but dated. The entrance was undergoing construction and hard to enter. Main doors were blocked off. Had to use side entrance that were blocked by parked cars. Parking was so stacked I could barely get a spot to leave the car to check-in at front desk. And we were directed to offsite parking because the main lot was full and valet was not taking any more cars. Despite the friendliness of front desk staff, it is not convenient enough for me to come back given the other hotel options in the area.

    There was not enough parking and for $35/ day you would expect a spot. I refused housekeeping when I checked in. They came in anyway.

    It was good overall except our restroom was very dirty when we first checked in. There was blood and poop on the toilet seat and side of toilet. It was also missing soaps.

    Overall good facilities. Parking was an issue with limited spaces. Rooms were good, with some wear and tear evident. There was no housekeeping provided during our 2 night stay. If it was optional, someone should have told us.

    The location was great and let us get to our cruise the next day with no problem. I liked the room and the complimentary water and tea in the lobby. Lobby bar was nice although always busy, but that can be a plus depending on how you’re feeling. It’s a short drive to the waterfront area and aquarium. We went to grab breakfast next door at Bites, which was lovely. Would recommend for a clean and fun spot to chill before your cruise!

    The hotel does not have its own parking lot. You have to use valet or South Park at the world trade center. It's the same building but very confusing. The parking elevator door is closed on my husband, knocking him down and all the Hotel could do is say they will inform the World Trade Center people. Also, the coffee maker in the room did not work properly and we did not get maid service. There are only a few places to eat nearby and the hotel coffee shop closes at 5:00. Overall, not a good experience.

    The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Bathroom could use an upgrade. Water pressure in shower was low, water faucet leaked and came out funky. Elevators were a little shaky. Overall hotel is descent.

    I was disappointed with the condition of our hotel room. The restroom had stains on the floor, the bathroom light fixtures were dusty and showed signs of rust, and the right knob in the bathroom did not turn off properly. I expected better maintenance and cleanliness from a Hilton property.

    It’s a pretty nice hotel. Typical Hilton. But it’s one of those places that charges you for everything while you’re there. Parking, Wi-Fi, breakfast etc. Not a fan of that. Already paid hundreds of dollars per night for the room. You can’t let me park my car or have WiFi for free???check in was 4 but I couldn’t get into my room til 515 cause it wasn’t “inspected” Plus very small pool. Only 3 feet deep but that was great for my kids. They had fun playing with the pool toys and cornhole in the pool area. Got a double queen with a balcony but the balcony was 3x3x3 triangle. Just enough room for 1 chair. But nice place inside, pool table and games. Food was good.

    So I naturally went down and said, "Hey, it doesn't seem like the room is correct." But they totally had a very interesting response in that they didn't want to give us the upgrade. They said it needed to contact you and that there was some mistake on Expedia's side, which is really frustrating. But eventually they did give us the room that you hopefully we had rented, and it was very nice. We've been enjoying it so far. It was a little annoying, but overall seemed good.

    I loved everything about the hotel, with the exception of the service in the Enclave. Tell your staff to worry about the three people in there at 11:30 AM, instead of screwing around.

    First booked a king room received two queen desk said that they couldnt do anything about it. For a hilton ran down needs tape holding wall paper in place and door hanger togather. At the very least a deep clean floors yuck! The bar/restaurant on first floor lvery loud and and was sat at a dirty table This wasthe first tine here and I dont think I will come back.

    Great hotel. Clean, close to restaurants, store and beach. Friendly and helpful staff members. Shout of to Kianna, front desk staff- misplace my phone staff during flight- she was very helpful to charge my phone to allow my buy new one. Room is clean, bathroom in room standard- standard gym and outdoor pool access is front talk- nice with great music and bartender.

    Samantha and Ashley and others front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. They made me feel welcome at the Hiltons as an Honor member but in the other hand I didn’t like how Ignacio and Maria who refused to let my car out the gate while I was running late to church and made me go back to the front desk to get a gate key while right under my nose they were letting other cars out. Because of these 2 I missed my church service. I begged them so much to let me out but they refused They were really rude and unkind to me.

    The parking garage SUCKS. It’s a shared space with other parts of the tower so spots are limited so just have to use valet and pay $10 less for self parking. Elevator button lights don’t work so I wasn’t sure if my hotel card was working or not. Only best party about this hotel was location. Room was average along with cleanliness.

    Construction, rooms window was broken, had to switch due to toddler safety, front desk resolution took over an hour to get into the new room after we checked in. Restaurant extremely slow, complimentary shuttle took 45mins when they said it would take 10mins. Overall horrible experience.

    One of the highlights was the pool area. I didn’t have too high of expectations but it was cute and also had a convenient pool side bar! I would definitely recommend this and stay here again when I’m in town!

    I show to the cleaning staff and asked her to clean our room as we were leaving and hoped to come back to a clean room. The cleaning lady who was cleaning a room on our floor at the time said she would do it. However when we returned the room was not clean. There was no Do Not Disturb sign on our door. This was upsetting.
