The owner was nice and accommodating, and there was an on site security guard. Also a very good price for a stay in LA. Location was pretty good in terms of how close the places we wanted to go to were. Room seemed good looking, and had a microwave and fridge. Location was very sketchy, and just didn’t feel that safe to stay in. Also had a cockroach problem; walked into the room and saw a cockroach on the floor, and then saw one by our food, and in the bathroom. Did have some amenities but not a lot. Also, a few of the things were dirty or broken: the window was cracked, the bathtub was scratched up, and the iron that was given was dirty.

I wanted a basic, inexpensive motel just to pass the night while I was up in LA. Not looking for anything fancy, just something clean and with reasonable parking. Cornett Motel was a good option for what I wanted.
