Empire Inn Motel

I loved the convenience. They had on-site management 24 hours and allowed a very late check-in (1:30AM) and extended graciousness to allot extra time to check out with no added charge. I have been recently displaced from my home due to circumstances beyond my control and forced to vacate with a sheriff / lockout / eviction order on 5/14. I didn’t have a storage unit until this week so I was hauling around way more possessions than normal which takes me around 2 hours to pack up every day when switching hotels. Management was truly kind, and supportive of this without me communicating my circumstances. This is hard to find in this day and age, it seems there are more heartless humans than kind. I can say with full assurance, staff and owners are good humans with empathy, not just “all business” —they are genuinely trying to stay afloat and keep up with the competitive market of hotels and their inflated rates —as an older more vintage design motel—it is very very clean, and well maintained. The rate is unprecedented and I would return based on all of the above points. $82 a night and parking included off-street within the property complex (and free) is very hard to find, and equally reasonable. I have no single complaint. Everything was lovely and warm welcome’s from staff.

Ease of reserve, friendly check-in and check-out. Quite location with free parking. A bit of tightness in neighborhood to find the location. The price is a bit higher comparing to my other rental.

The only thing I like was that it was close to the Sofi stadium and that’s where I was going. Our room smelled like smoke really bad. We took our own pillows because we like to have extra and I had to throw them away after that because even after washing the pillow covers they still smelled like cigarettes. The place wasn’t clean either. The sink faucet didn’t work very well, it would splatter water all over if you opened it too much. I booked this stay last minute so that’s why I settled but I will never book there again.

The location was great if you want to be close to LAX There were stains on the towels, the bedsheets, and the toilet seats. There was also a smell in the room. Would not recommend sleeping here

Checking out and leaving. Room not clean. The owner charged me a deposit for nothing then the following day the son checked me in with no deposit . The owner was rude from the moment I arrived. But spoke to my spouse with respect . Will not be returning here ever again

Walked in the room it smells like cigarettes, or someone was smoking wood back woods bathroom door didn’t lock not even screwed in properly screwed into the door like someone broke it off the bed cover had cigarette burns holes all over it. The plastic on the frame of the mattress have brown marks, like it was stained from all the smoking the smell was so bad I had to go to Dollar tree and buy air freshener the room, most likely all look like that or have similar characteristic the rooms look like someone lived in there and went crazy or something overall just poorly taken care of motel and don’t do their due diligence to fix or upkeep but I don’t know what I was expecting, but it in the hood, so you get what you pay for also maybe use for Figueroa activities

The shower had no hot water and none of the sockets worked in the bathroom and on one side of the bedroom the sockets didn't work

Clean I loved it

Room was fine, everything we needed we noticed a couple of issues. As soon as you enter the room, there was a large hole in the ceiling with a leak of water dripping down the floor.

The boss was really Nice & When we asked for extra things he didnt mind the property is pretty clean & also inside!

Really helpful Indian guy on reception. Helped me with lost baggage from the airline and plans for onward travel That area of LA is really run down

A hidden gem of a place. Quiet, clean and everything works well, like the WIFI TV etc... I highly recommend it.

Easy parking, easy check in, quiet location. There were cracks in the ceiling held together with duct tape. For the most part a good motel for the price.

Fine room, with enclosed parking lot. Worked fine for what I needed.

The property is nice and clean, the staff is wonderful. It's a great place to stay.

Bathroom sink was falling through, toilet seat was completely off the seat and not attached. Sewer gas smells the 1st day, which went away. Maybe a regional problem, not just the hotel or room. Very clean for how old and somewhat rundown the hotel is. Not very safe area. Overall, very quiet for three days of rest while I was getting over the flu.
