One of the cleaner, convenient and affordable hotels in the Los Angeles area with free parking and a friendly staff.

The premises are clean, the rooms have air conditioning and heating, there is a breakfast buffet from 6:30am-9:30am, and you can get free toothpaste at the front desk. The parking lot is small but we got lucky and didn’t have to look for street parking.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy. I liked that the parking and breakfast was included in the price of the hotel, that's really difficult to find these days. Will be using again next time we are in town.

I beleive this property has the two slowest elevators in southern california - was running joke with other guests. The staff was nice and helpful. Nice breakfast and coffee service. Rooms a little worn out. Not much of a workout room or pool.

The staff was friendly and responsive. This was hands-down the most dated Holiday Inn I've ever been in. It was probably clean, but everything was so old and dingy looking that it felt dirty. The elevator was so slow and jerked when it went up. I was on the top floor right beside the emergency exit which opened up to outside stairs. Not only did the emergency exit door not lock, but it wouldn't even close. I will say the attendant at the desk did report it as soon as I mentioned it, but as a single woman who had already unpacked after 17 hours of air travel, I didn't feel like going back downstairs to change rooms, but I certainly didn't feel safe. Convenient to the airport, but only a Sizzler and a Persian restaurant within walking distance. So many homeless that there is a sign by the breakfast that says to present your room card if the hostess asked for it. This hotel needs a serious upgrade if it's going to continue to operate. I would not recommend it or stay in it again. I chose Holiday Inn because I always know what to expect, but this one was a letdown.

Kelvin at the front desk was super friendly. We called to ask about the shuttle bus and he patiently explained where to wait for the shuttle at the airport. Also, we lost an item in an Uber ride and the hotel very graciously accepted delivery of the item even before we checked in. We were very grateful for the exceptional service and hospitality provided. Rooms were a bit dated but not unbearable

The room was clean. The shuttle service ran every half hour to LAX. Breakfast was well done. Waiting for the shuttle to run on the half-hour instead of when we were ready to depart.

Waking up and being able to have breakfast, especially the soft biscuits. Location was also near a 7/11 allowing us to get any snacks even When booking the hotel I chose the high room expecting to be on one of the top floors but was only placed on the second. Besides that nothing really.

We were absolutely impressed with our stay at this hotel — it exceeded all of our expectations! The price-to-quality ratio was excellent. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We honestly expected a simple airport hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised by how convenient, clean, and welcoming everything was. We loved all the little details: coffee machines both in the room and in the lobby, plus the small self-service shop in the lobby — everything was so convenient and well organized. The breakfast was wonderful, with a great selection, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We truly felt taken care of and appreciated. We stayed for three nights and were absolutely delighted with our experience. Everything was wonderful. Thank you for such a warm welcome and hospitality. If you are flying through Los Angeles, we highly recommend staying here. We are extremely happy we chose this hotel and sincerely hope to come back again someday! Everything perfect

I enjoyed my stay here. The only thing I did not like was the microwave was very high up, as a short person this was a challenge to use. If they could move it where it's accessible for everyone that would be great.

Honestly we had the best 5 nights here! It was just me and my daughter. Every single staff member was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, we loved the pool and jacquizzi. We always found easy parking and the area felt safe. It was our first time in LA and we felt so at peace every night in this hotel

The only negative experience was requesting 2 wake up calls for 6:00am and 6:15am to catch a flight at LAX and neither wake up call was made. Lucky I also set my phone alarm. Cardinal sin of a hotel beside an airport, missing the wake up call. Otherwise all good.

The WORST thing an airport hotel can have is an unreliable shuttle schedule. I asked three different staff members about their shuttle schedule and they all told me that the shuttle leaves the hotel at the top of the hour. Yet they don’t! They leave sporadically. And no one told me that I needed to call to reserve a pick up from the airport. So what I happened was that I took the shuttle TO the airport to send my mom off. Then I went to the shuttle station shortly after the top of the hour to wait for the shuttle to stop by. If the shuttle leaves the airport at the top of the hour, I will for sure catch it. Yet I waited 15 minutes there and saw no shuttle. I called the hotel and then was told that the shuttle had already hit the airport pick up location around the top of the hour. I ended up waiting 50 minutes to get picked up. During the time, I had seen all the other hotels’ shuttles at least 4-5 times. This is ridiculous. I’m never going back to this hotel.

Our room was very good, very clean, the bed was comfortable, our only complaint was in the shower. The shower spray was very 'aggressive', I'm short so the fixture was unreachable, in fact, my 6' husband had trouble reaching it. The shower dispensers were on the same wall as the shower head, which made dispensing the product difficult. The 'grab' bar would be better placed at the rear of the shower, so once doesn't get blasted with water when entering.

The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with plenty of options: fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, toast, cereals, and a nice variety of juices, water, and coffee. It made the morning feel easy and welcoming. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Their warmth made the stay feel even better. I’ll definitely be staying here again whenever I’m traveling and need a comfortable place to rest.

I had earlier flight, i requested a breakfast bag and was declined. Room smelled bad. Relatively clean. Shuttle driver to airport was rude.

The breakfast was fantastic and the all day coffee was a welcome treat. The staff was helpful and bed was super comfy. The blackout curtains did the job and it was just so nice and inviting. The business area was perfect for a work meeting too. We will look forward to our next stay at such a wonderful hotel.

Very inconvenient that only one elevator worked and they put us on the top floor!! Then the key cards were constantly not working so having to keep going back down stairs was a lot. The staff was very kind and personable!! Breakfast was delicious

What we didn’t love but was satisfactory were the “soundproofed” rooms, elevators, and television sets. The rooms are not soundproofed, which takes away from your privacy experience. One of the elevators was operable but in need of a repair to stop the bouncing during use. The televisions are still using cable exclusively and we could not use our streaming services. We looked forward to “Netflix’ing” and chilling while we were kid-free and out of town. We will go back to the property because of the people working there and how they genuinely displayed appreciation for us and pride in their jobs.

Kelvin at Holiday Inn Express in L.A.provided phenomenal customer service to my family and me who were in town for a funeral. He was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful in every way. I hope Kelvin's supervisor gets word of this and commends Kelvin for his warm and professional demeanor. He made a difficult trip so much easier without knowing our reasons for being there, which let's me know that his true character was on display. if I ever need a hotel stay in the area again, I will strongly consider staying at this location because of Kelvin. Our room was very clean and was in great condition, my only gripe was the room seemed airless at night. As someone who passes through LAX relatively regularly, this Holiday inn Express will now be my regular airport hotel choice. Room was very clean. From shuttle driver, to front desk, to housekeeping, staff was friend,y and professional. Upon arrival, I followed shuttle pick instructions and was picked up within 10 mins. Desk had my room ready as soon as I walked in to lobby. The included breakfast was not exceptional, but fully met my expectations for a complimentary breakfast at this price point! Location wise, it is an airport hotel so that is my main criteria, but there is an EXCELLENT Persian restaurant next door and the famous Randy's Donuts is a 15 min walk away. Highly recommend this hotel!

My business stay was brief, and I was treated well by the hotel staff. The airport shuttle arrived when and where promised. The room was clean and comfortable. I would consider staying here again.

The sleeping area and bathrooms were both very clean. Parking was easy and no charge, which was a nice perk. The area around it wasn't that enticing, especially after dark.

This hotel does not look like much from the outside or from the lobby but it is everything you expect from a good stay. The gentleman (Soufine, I believe was his name) at the reception desk was very nice, polite and greeted us as we approached. The room was very clean and spacious with plenty of storage and seating. The pillows and mattress were above average as well for a hotel. Parking and breakfast was included which was surprising as it was actually the only hotel I found during my search to include these. We had an early flight so did not get to try the breakfast unfortunately. Also, there are a variety of places to eat within a short driving distance. If you need a place to stay near the airport at a reasonable price and don't need all of the extras, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. If I ever return to LA and need a place to stay near the airport, I would definitely book again!

The front desk Kelvin did an excellent customer service not only to me but I’ve seen it with other customers as well. He and other personnel Soufiane are both very nice and accommodating. Holiday Inn express may be far from most of tourist spots but will definitely give you the price you paid and the customer service you would like to have.

Very clean room. A little disappointed with TV choices - would have really loved to see YouTube. Every staff person I encountered was smiling and polite. PC in the lobby was helpful for my wife's flight reservation/customs forms. Enjoyed the lobby coffee as well. Shuttle service was great and I had no problem getting a return to the hotel after dropping off my wife to her flight. Breakfast was as expected, but still good and well stocked and clean. There was a heavy smell of marijuana smoke on the floor my second morning. I reported it to the desk person and by the time I got back fron breakfast it had subsided. I hope they fined the hell outta that guest and banned them, Nothing against it, just not where it's posted to not do that.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I've been to in a while. In a time when most hotels are cleaning rooms as requested or so many times according to the length of stay, it was nice to have housekeeping daily during my stay. From the time I walked in until the time I left, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was pretty standard, but it was always fresh and the area was clean, no matter what time I came down during breakfast hours. Now it was a little noisy from the 7Eleven behind the hotel, but not enough to really disturb my sleep. Aside from the drive to Anaheim, everything I wanted to see was about 25 minutes or less away. Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles was about 5 minutes away. The airport was about a 7 minute drive and my car rental place was a 7 minute drive as well. Overall my experience was amazing and I will definitely stay here again!

The room was comfortable and the shower was pretty good as well. Staff were friendly and accommodating. My one gripe with the stay was the parking situation. I wouldn't call it 'plentiful' unless it's really slow at the property. The spots by the building are limited. There's a small 'structure' on the property that yields a few spots with cover (underground) but quickly hits a dead end, forcing you to make many awkward maneuvers to exit. If that's full, you drive around outside up to the top for the few remaining spots, which again, quickly hits an awkward dead end. I returned from a function quite late one night and all the parking was taken. An employee directed me to a restaurant's lot around the corner, warning me to move my car in the morning or risk being towed. I had to get up early after a very late night to move my car (hoping it wasn't vandalized) and hope there were available parking spots at the hotel, which thankfully there were just a few spots available. It was very inconvenient, and disappointing considering I was advertised plenty of parking. So, any reviews mentioning the parking being adequate, I'd take it with a grain of salt.

A couple of extremely rude staff memembers (unwarrantedly rude) at the checkin counter spoilt the entire experience for us. I have registered a complaint with the parent company IHG. I have traveled a lot, and never experienced anything like that behavior from any staff member. Overall, a great hotel, but a few bad apples among staff may be spoiling its reputation.

The shuttle service communication. We called for pick up when we were at the pick up point at the airport and was told he would be there in 20 minutes. After 22 minutes, called again and they said oh it will be another 20 minutes. After we got to hotel, we found out shuttle only runs 1 time an hour on the hour. The hotel is only about a 5 minute drive and we got picked up until 8:20pm with our first call at 7:40pm There are other shuttles that run much more frequently so I would stay at another place next time.

This is a great hotel. Rooms and reception is clean and organized. Free parking is a HUGE plus as I have seen 75$ a night at other places. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is a bit noisy between rooms and especially to the outside but for being next to a big road and an airport it was very quiet at night. Only downside was quite poor breakfast and very small pool area (only four sun chairs). But overall we can definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel's airport shuttle ran only once an hour, which wasn't super convenient; but, our driver was an excellent host.

Easy to get to

First of all, the staff was the friendliest and most welcoming that we’ve had in quite some time. We were always greeted with a smile and they were very helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast had good choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The restaurant breakfast staff was amazing. They kept the food stocked with a very busy morning crowd. They work very hard and it was appreciated.

I stay here often. It’s close to the airport, the highway, and UCLA. The staff is always pleasant and professional. The bed was comfortable. My complaint is that there is not an extra blanket in the room, so you have to turn on the heater. There’s a ton of restaurants within walking distance. Shopping is close by as well. The breakfast is always good! My other complaint is there is not a dairy-free creamer option.

The Holiday Inn Express Airport hotel was very clean. Breakfast was excellent. I especially loved the cinnamon rolls! Free breakfast and parking. The location was a 10 minute drive to the beach and LAX airport. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed breakfast and there are many options near by. We enjoyed that it was so close to sofi and very quiet. I would stay again. I didnt like that the parking lot is so small but im glad we got a parking spot just in time

We were quite surprised when we walked into this hotel. The service was excellent, the hotel, extremely clean and comfortable. The best part was the location to the airport. We loved the pillows so much that we got home and ordered them for our home. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be back.

Our stay here was very nice. Our driver, Danny, who picked us up at the airport was helpful and nice. Check in and check out was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the ladies overseeing the dining area were wonderful! We would definitely stay here again !

The facility is kept excellently clean at all times. This facility was very welcoming and accommodating to the needs of my organization as well (i.e. meeting room area). Staff was excellent- all friendly and helpful. Best free hotel breakfast I've ever had. Bed was comfy, room was clean. For being so near the airport, i never heard the planes. And free parking! Such a bonus in LA. 7-11 right next door- very convenient. As was the Sizzler. We got in after a long day of flying and walked over for dinner. Easy peasy. Will definitely stay again. The hotel rooms here are very nice. The bed & pillows are very comfortable & the room & hotel overall was clean. It is however in a semi-sketchy area close to LAX. I would not recommend walking around that neighborhood alone at night. Rent a car to get around for sure. The hotel also has a very small, very limited parking lot which, at times was inconvenient.

Overnight stay before flying out of LAX. Dropped off rental car at Dollar and walked to the hotel in 12 mins. Free shittle on the hour to the airport. Good breakfast too

Room was spacious and clean, bed is pretty comfortable.

We happened to stay on a busy night and staff was very accommodating. No issues checking in or out. Parking was a plus for us and while a bit crowded there was room for everyone. There might have been some sort of major event nearby but our stay was not affected. Overall good experience during the days of our stay. We certainly Recommend this location!

The rooms were nice and spacious and bed was super comfortable, but you could hear everything from the street outside, the hallway, and the room next door. The worst was everytime someone went out of their room it literally was so loud it sounded like someone slammed your door. Also you could hear beeping from vehicles on the street backing up and the traffic. This made it difficult to sleep. Also the shower didn’t have any body wash or bar soap, only shampoo and conditioner. Overall stay was ok. Loved that it was close to rental car drop off.

Second time staying here, I had a pleasant experience. Only stayed one night but everything went well. Check in and check out was quick and easy, rooms were clean.

I stay at this location whenever I am in town which is often. My stay this time was not at all what I usually experience. I had planned to stay 3 nights. My air conditioner was making a really loud noise and my shower was not draining. I mentioned it to the front desk. I was told someone would look into it. I was gone until late Saturday night. Upopn returning I found that the problem had not been taking care of. I stayed somewhere else on Saturday night which caused me loose 250.00. Upon returning Sunday I relized the problem still had not been taking care. I was truly disappointed being that I have never had issues before. But loosing out on a night that I did pay for because someone wasn't doing there job was frustrating. Noone ever got back to me to tell me if it had been checked. I even asked to change rooms and was told there wasn't another room available.

Just stayed one night to attend a concert at So Fi Stadium and we enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel all around seemed very clean. The room was very clean, had a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. The bathroom had Dove products available for use, hand soap, lotion, body wash, and shampoo and conditioner, and blow dryer. There was an iron and ironing board and small safe. Being near an airport we barely heard any noise from planes flying over. The front desk clerk was very friendly and free breakfast was excellent. Just one minor critique, they need to upgrade to 2 ply toilet paper. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotels are not the way they used to, they are like zoos now, rooms smell bad due to dogs. Staff don’t care about people with allergies, noisy, they should accommodate families with children and babies in one floor.

I would absolutely stay here again. There was no airplane noise, and at least on a weekday, we did not hear much noise from our neighbors. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

The room was spacious and clean and had everything that I needed. Staff was helpful and attentive, accommodating. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy, but that can't really be helped. I felt safe in the hotel at all times. Complimentary parking was a big draw for me.

I didn't like that the area was not very walkable although there was a Sizzler restaurant around the corner. If you had a car it isn't much of a problem.

The hotel is a great central location and close to the airport. The area was a little rundown, but I felt saved. The staff was extremely friendly.

Had a great stay here in early July. Service was excellent, Mike at the front desk was very pleasant to speak and joke around with at night. Rest of the staff attentive and responded quickly to any requests I made. If I'm back next year for the same event I'll likely stay there again - biggest factors were the breakfast and parking included. Driving to and from rental car location made things so much simpler.

The staff was great, very professional and accommodating. The cleaning staff missed picking up Q-tip from a previous guest, so that was a bit unsettling but I understand things happen. I would stay again.

I was assigned on the 2nd floor so I had to hear noise from the street all night long. There was no hair dryer in the room.

The Holiday Inn Express is an excellent option if you want to be close to LAX, or if you are visiting the Culver, Playa Vista or Santa Monica area. The nightly room charges are very affordable, and they DON'T charge for parking like every hotel on Century Blvd does. I've stayed here twice and have been highly satisfied - clean, centrally located, and great friendly staff.
