Location was a big factor. I liked that it had a pool and parking. The bed was comfy and plush. Parking was at an additional cost per day. We didn’t have hot water for a full day. Issue was fixed the next day as we check out. They amenities were fun but not in the greatest condition. The pool was not the cleanest and is in the shade so it’s freezing. They had a pin pong table but the paddles were broken. I don’t believe this room gets used a lot cause he smelled closed off. Place was way to over priced.

They have a rule where they insist on entering your room every second day and changing the sheets. Doesn’t matter if the DND sign is up or you say no, they enforce this strictly. Really annoying if you’re trying to sleep in late.

A splendid hotel for having a safe place, a good bed, and decent facilities, in a friendly atmosphere. Although time and travelers have taken their toll on its appearance (the usual wear and tear like run-down flooring, loose curtain guides, and rickety bed lights), it's clean, sufficient, and well managed. And the location is nice – not noisy, not too depressing, and within 5 minutes walking from many services. Just cosmetics. Since the windows don't have sheers (just curtains) you probably prefer to have the curtains closed for some privacy. But then it's completely dark, so you have to switch on some room lights. And these are all such dull energy saving light bulbs, making the whole room look like quite greyish, bland.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in when I come to LA. I love the location as it's within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and I feel safe when I stay here. The prices are usually always great too and friendly staff! I haven't had any negative experiences here yet. I've always been able to check in quickly, my room has always been clean. The staff is always available.

Clean, easily accessible. You have to pay for parking, there’s literally no street parking so no matter what you have to pay to park at the garage.
