It was great, room was beautiful. Only down side was housekeeping knocking and entering at 9am (after a late night at Magooby's) when check out wasn't until 11.

The breakfast was only $5.00 for a nice, basic selection of scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked bacon, pastries, home fries, rotating special side dishes, coffee and tea. The chef was friendly and was out in front. He and his staff alone make the morning breakfast worth the trip. The day time and even desk staff was friendly and helpful although on my checkout day the woman at the front desk was looked like she’d rather be anywhere else than where she was. I found her about as hospitable as a slug. Overall, a good stay and I will almost certainly stay here again during my monthly trip from Connecticut to Timonium to visit my daughter, her husband and my infant grandson.
- 4/5
Would’ve rated 5 stars were it not for rude receptionist at the front desk at around 12noon. The breakfast/kitchen staff were outstanding and made made up for the shortcomings of the receptionist.
- 3/5
Fridge in room was really loud and our room was across from elevator and that was also loud I booked a two bed room but got a king size and it was realllllllly bouncy so not good for two people
- 2/5
Usually I stay at the holiday inn out Whitemarsh but I wanted to be closer to my sisters house so I thought this hotel would be fine but it's definitely outdated and the bathroom wasn't cleaned first thing I noticed the shower wasn't cleaned and the toilet didn't flush want to flush the only thing I liked was the bed was comfy but I don't think I'll be staying there again
- 5/5
Clean, should have breakfast included but it doesn’t.

Cindy, desk person, was extremely helpful and cordial, inquiring about my comfort and assisting with questions about the area. I am a senior and to honest her manner was reassuring as I was traveling alone. This is an older facility. So it is not as soundproof as newer buildings. It was initially annoying as more people checked in, but as I became accustomed to it and noise subsided later it was less distracting. The shower faucet was also quite loud as the full pressure was turned on, but water temperature was fine. Everything else functioned well and the morning breakfast and staff providing it were very courteous.

Staff, property, and breakfast were very good. We have been staying at another hotel close by but they charge $5 per night parking even if you don’t have a car to park, and this Holiday Inn does not.
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 4/5
Staff were lovely. Beds were comfy Shower was perfect Our room was right next to the elevator so it was tough to sleep. Housekeeping was stationed right outside the room and we heard all the laughing and talking and clinking and elevator dings. I would have requested a different room in advance if I knew I would be across from the elevator.

Great location, easy access, great parking, and very friendly staff. Good breakfast selection, with the chefs coming out to interact with the guests. The only thing I would have liked is for the beds to be firmer.

Clean Room, Friendly Staff.

Great location near the Timonium fairgrounds.
- 5/5
Very good
- 4.5/5
We especially liked the reasonable price, the ease of booking, the friendliness of the people behind the desk, and the size and layout of the room, and the fact that we were on the top floor, giving us a good view of the neighborhood. The only thing one of us did not particularly like is that the mattress was way too soft.
- 4/5
The breakfast was good. Very reasonably priced. It was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. Nothing it was great!

Chef really welcoming, food great

Everything was great except the bathroom door swinging into the bathroom made the room cramped and really inaccessible
- 4/5
Rooms were a bit outdated, staff was very nice.
- 5/5
This hotel has a nice, clean, and spacious room. Also, It is at a wonderful location.
- 5/5
I have stayed at the hotel many times over the years. It seems that it's had a refresh, and what most impressed me was for breakfast.
- 4/5
Clean. Easy in and out. Close to the light rail and plenty of food options. Great option if looking to stay outside of Baltimore. Very noisy partying overnight in the parking lot on Friday night, assuming likely due to the Chilis next door.
- 5/5
Was nice . Staff was very friendly. Bathroom was way too small
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable with soft and firm pillows, clean, wood floor, staff were nice, especially Cindy!
- 3/5
Front desk staff polite; convenient lication
- 4/5
Friendly staff and nice stay
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
The stay was fine for the price. You should not charge for breakfast as the buffet was never full and what was out was cold.
- 3/5
Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. But, noisy rooms and small bathrooms. $5 for breakfast?! Similar level hotels include it.
- 2/5
The room was not clean and there were bugs in the bathroom. We only stayed 1 of our 2 nights. We ended up booking into a new hotel.
- 5/5
Best Breakfast around! Been back to this hotel a couple times, the breakfast being one reason. Staff, gym, & room cleanliness is another!
- 4/5
Easy check in!
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh, staff was friendly. The bed super comfortable. Felt very safe compared to other hotels i have stayed in.
- 5/5
I diid not have breakfast. I did ejoy the hot shower. The last time I was there it has a Days Inn . The room smelled the shower was lule warm. Theis was a much better stay!
- 5/5
Parking was very convenient and well lit within in sight of the lobby, front door and cameras and adjacent businesses with automobile and foot traffic.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was warm welcoming and very clean hotel.
- 2/5
Everything appeared clean however the towels were threadbare and tiny. The bath towel only wrapped half was around me. I'm a normal size woman. My room was on the second floor. When I initially climbed the second floor, I was unable to open the door. after many attempts, I carried my bags back downstairs, returned to the office, waited in line then reported that I was unable to open the door. The office staff seemed to know exactly what the problem was and met be on the second floor. I carried my bags back upstairs and watched him open the door then start to walk away. I asked if there was something wrong with the card. He replied no with no further explanation, Then I asked if he did something special to door because i was going out and would need to open the door later in the evening. Finally he shows me that I needed to pull the door in tightly then slide the key card and only then would the door unlock. Really, that could not been explained upfront rather than have me lug my luggage up and down the stairs and make me late for the event I fly across the country. The staff member was not rude but not cordial or pleasant either... I will never recommend this place again.
- 5/5
Was a very clean hotel. Friendly staff the area was quite and convenient to go to Baltimore and the state fair ground. Eating out options in the area are great. We will be choosing this hotel again for future stays.
- 5/5
Out stay was very good excellent service and a great breakfast
- 5/5
The breakfast attendant was friendly and attentive. We like the additional parking at the back door. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
comfortable bed. breakfast was great especially for $5! The new chef there was awesome! My husband said it was the best biscuits and sausage gravy he’s ever had! Bank right outside the hotel. Chili’s onsite
- 5/5
Very good overall
- 5/5
Small-ish bathroom but serviceable. Conveniently next to a Chili's.
- 4/5
Very easy to access from the interstate great parking and food options nearby
- 3/5
My bathroom smelled like raw sewage we had to keep the door closed all night. The room was much smaller then I expected for the price.
- 5/5
Was very welcoming . My room very please will do business again
- 3/5
Hotel seemed worn down. No water foundation and the room's tv didn't work.
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
The check in area was still screened in with plexiglass making it difficult to hear the clerk
- 4/5
It worked, room clean. It's hard to find a reasonable price room in Baltimore area. At least parking is free.

Nice hotel
- 3/5
The staff here is wonder! Attentive and friendly. You get what you pay for and that being said the hotel is clean and well kept. My only complaints are the same that others have mentioned—the AC is loud and the walls are very thin. I had a relatively pleasant stay!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Chef Nell at breakfast was personable and food was excellent! Thank you! Great value and conversation with the chef.
- 4/5
Nice hotel and staff. Wish the check-in area didn't smell of marijuana smoke.
- 1/5
Neither hotels.com or the hotel were interested in fixing it Better places for your money in the areas
- 5/5
Everything was good. Super convenient on and off the highway. Breakfast is excellent. There’s a small fee but so worth it. Chef Nell greeted us. He’s doing a fantastic job!
- 5/5
Convenient location, welcoming and the chef did a great job with breakfast!
- 5/5
No problems everything went normal and no inconveniences
- 5/5
We paid for breakfast service for six dollars each person and it was worth it. The chef was attentive to our every need.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. Would stay again!
- 4/5
The room was clean and came with all amenities needed. Their was a Chili's attached to the hotel. No need to leave the hotel. Would definitely stay at Holiday Inn again.

I needed a last-minute night around Baltimore. The rate was good and I liked that there was a pool at this location. The hotel’s location isn’t in the nicest area, it’s in an industrial area. There is a Chili’s attached if you like that restaurant. I was worried that the inside wasn’t going to be that great by the look of the outside of the property. I was pleasantly surprised that my room was nice and seemed to be newly renovated. The lobby and the fitness center were very nice as well. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get to the pool because it was completely overrun by about 20 rowdy kids!!
- 5/5
The older lady at the front dress was very nice. The room was very clean and fresh. We had no issues.
- 5/5
Well Manager. Clean. Nice pool
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly
- 5/5
Front desk understaffed
- 5/5
I wasn’t sure what to expect but the room was nice and clean, the Chili’s attached was amazing, & the gym was just what I needed!
- 4/5
Generally good and the price a bit better then other options. It could use a bit of upgrading including carpetting etc
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
The shower water was dirty.
- 4/5
Everything in the hotel was great. The team was friendly and very industrious and helpful. The only drawback on this location was police and fire engine sirens passing at different times.
- 4/5
I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Would stay Again
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful.
- 5/5
Everyone was nice!
- 5/5
This is very convenient.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
Bathroom in the rooms is extremely small. If one person is at the sink, another cannot enter and get into the shower because the door opens in against the tub. The person at the sink has to exit the bathroom and then the person who wants to shower has to come in. Then you have to open the door against the tub and the person can then reenter and go to the sink. Toilet is not chair height so it sits really low to the ground. Definitely not for an elderly person. Also the electronic lock on the entry door made noise and crackling sound all night every 5 minutes. Maintenance man had no idea what the problem was. Still crackling when we left in the morning.
- 4/5
The property needs updating. Seating in lobby worn. The bathroom furniture worn.
- 2/5
Very cramped bathroom Shower curtain too short so water all over Only 2 towels Kierig didn’t work Beds horrible
- 5/5
Very easy check in. We were there 30 minutes early from out of state and they had no issue checking us in a little early.
- 4/5
The motel was good but our room was by the elevator and we would hear the elevator all night. Also they charge for break
- 4/5
the location
- 5/5
Right off major road. Great staff .Very nice place will stay there again.
- 4/5
Overall it was a pretty good day. The staff were kind and attentive. The bathroom in my room was very small. The air quality wasn't the best in my room. It was very dry.
- 3/5
it was ok. Elevator was being fixed. It was average. You get what you pay for.
- 2/5
Cockroach surprised me during the night
- 5/5
Deborah was fantastic at the front desk!
- 5/5
The woman at the check in desk was an amazing help with sharing information and explaining what was needed to know during our stay. Unfortunately I didn’t ask her name but she did have blonde hair, wore glasses and spoke with an acccent.
- 5/5
My room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Nice people, clean, parking, breakfast not included. You must pay 5 dollars
- 4/5
Great, except for the lack of walk-in showers
- 3/5
Served its purpose. Next door to Chilis. Close to the main highway
- 5/5
Very nice property
- 5/5
This is the third time I’ve stayed here in the last 3 months. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a microwave!! The environment is quiet and peaceful. I would rather stay here than at the inner harbor when we visit Baltimore.
- 5/5
Staff is nice and friendly. Chillis attached to hotel. Restaurants and shopping close by. Parking accessible. Breakfast is a 5 dollar fee. You can charge to the room or pay with cash.
- 5/5
I was worried about it being so close to 83, but I never heard the traffic. The room was very clean and nice. The staff was super freindly. The breakfast was AMAZING.
- 5/5
Room layout was great. Having Chili’s restaurant in same building was nice.
- 5/5
We often stay at this Holiday Inn when visiting family in the area. It is clean, well managed, and reliable. Friendly front desk staff always.
- 5/5
Everything was fine, would stay again.
- 4/5
.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean, but one of the elevators made very loud mechanical noises and there was no water pressure in the toilet - it had to be flushed several times to make it work.
- 2/5
Noisy & the beds were uncomfortable
- 3/5
Good condition
- 3/5
The bed was really comfy, but was hearing plenty noises from the vents.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Tub was dirty. The heater made so much noise when it turn on and not enough heat. The water pressure was disgusting. Not enough water coming out. Disappointed!
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Good place to stay.could improve shower
- 5/5
Easy check in and out. Clean room. No complaints.
- 4/5
Near major highway
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
elevator was sketchy
- 3/5
While the room is in decent condition, the bathroom seriously needs to be refurbished. The tub has dirty peeling caulk. Paint is peeling off door frame.
- 5/5
Nice staff and clean room. I love staying here and highly recommend it. The area is nice and quiet with plenty of shops nearby
- 1/5
There was loud noise / construction outside of the hotel that kept us awake all night.
- 2/5
The bed was hard as a rock! You could hear noise from other rooms and from the hall. Couldn't get the WiFi to work and had to go downstairs to the lobby for help.
- 3/5
My daughter thought it looked like an insane asylum from the outside and the room reminded me of a dorm room. This was not a great hotel. It did the job, but could use significant updating and breakfast should be free.
- 5/5
Convenient. Clean. Bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
all was great , people, hotel
- 5/5
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and roomy.
- 5/5
Was very nice
- 5/5
Pretty nice stay. Comfortable beds.
- 1/5
Upon arrival there were roaches in the bathroom. They did move us to a different room. Did not see bugs in there but the ceiling was pealing off
- 5/5
Staff very friendly!
- 3/5
I’d asked for a quiet room & was told I was on the side away from the interstate so it would be quieter. Wrong—terrible traffic, ambulances, speeding cars on a Friday night. Had to turn my sound machine on high to drown it out. Breakfast: seems v cheap for a holiday inn to charge $5 for a breakfast that wasn’t any better than those at hotels that don’t charge extra. Food wasn’t hot, I had to wait for the scrambled eggs to be refilled. Lukewarm sausage, bacon & awful potatoes—yuck. Plus, you’re not allowed to leave the dining area with any extra food! I usually take extra fruit, yogurt & a bagel for snacks later. Chili’s is on site but v few other restaurants nearby. I doubt I would ever stay here again if I could help it.
- 2/5
The elevator was a bit sketchy, tub was outdated, the sink was clogged and the sheets had hair, had to get them changed.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and staff was great but room a bit noisy. Refrigerator and ac unit were a bit loud. Also could here any noise in hallway and my room was right by elevator.
- 3/5
The room had roaches. Was definitely not happy about that.
- 5/5
Clean property with good dining options nearby. Comedy club is within walking distance. Only minor concern is the elevators seemed slow and noisy.
