There is black mold! Do not stay here! My room was disgusting and there was an ac until room for the whole floor in there that someone must have forgotten to lock with black mold all over! We packed our stuff up and left and the owner refused to give a refund. We went to the avid hotel just down the road for the same price and it was so nice! Definitely recommend staying there! These room were rough before finding the black mold. The rooms have old dirty carpets and furniture that wasn't clean enough to even want to put my luggage on. I've stayed at a country inn and suites before that was much nicer but this one is privately owned so it doesn't need to be kept to any standard apparently. I would have slept in my car before staying here. The only good thing they had was that the front desk girl was very nice and sympathetic.

Very nice spacious room with large queen bed with sturdy frame and headboard. TV worked well so did mini fridge and the microwave. Pet area very clean with no trash or cigarette butts littered; poop bags available with trash can. Potty area off to right side of building and my room was on the 1st floor, last door on the right so it was super convenient to go take my dog potty. Parking space ample room. Rocking chairs out front very relaxing atmosphere. Lobby clean upon entry. Staff friendly, patient and informative. A/C in room super cold. Bathtub was large with a detachable shower head as well as a removable shower chair. Bathroom very large, tissues available, clean towels stocked, clean sink and vanity. Bedding appeared clean with no stains noted. I would recommend this place and would stay again if in the area. Area felt very safe.

The staff was great, however the room was clean, did see dead bugs in the window seals. The bathroom was clean! It suited it's purpose for me just for an over night stay.

The room was clean, but the property is a bit older and located next to a railroad track, so it can get noisy at night. However, the staff were pleasant and accommodating.

The staff was so amazing. I can’t say enough good about them. The room was quiet and comfortable and the pool was quite enjoyable. The only thing that wasn’t wonderful was the breakfast. While it did have some hot options, it didn’t have many options for people who can’t eat carbs and sugars.

After a long, unexpectedly difficult day that was supposed to be quick and easy, I found myself in need of a place to rest. I had driven down from Cartersville, a couple of hours north, heading toward the Orlando area, and exhaustion was setting in fast. While grabbing dinner at the nearby Cracker Barrel, I pulled up Booking.com, and this hotel popped up in the Macon results—great price, great rating, and close by. Perfect. What a pleasant surprise this stay turned out to be. Yes, the property is a bit older, but it is exceptionally well maintained. Everything—from the lobby to the hallways to the room—was spotless. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. My room was immaculate, comfortable, and perfectly serviced. Not a single thing out of place. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight. Hot, fresh, and constantly replenished. The attendant was on top of everything, making sure every guest enjoyed the same quality meal I did. And the price is what really grabbed my attention: a two‑room king suite for just $94 and an 8.0 rating on Booking. That combination is hard to beat. I took a chance, and I’m glad I did. The Country Inn in Macon absolutely delivered, and I will not hesitate to stay here again when the opportunity comes around. I can honestly say there was nothing I didn’t like. Not perfect—because perfect doesn’t exist—but there is a whole lot of “very good,” and this hotel is absolutely one of those very good places to stay.

The room was nice and comfortable, and overall the hotel was decent. However, the hot tub didn’t work or get hot, which was disappointing. I also found used dirty rags left in the shower when I checked in. Housekeeping and maintenance definitely need some improvement.

Breakfast was a plus. Ms Pearl was most helpful keeping breakfast hot and ready for hotel guest.

Our room wasn’t ready until 4:30 pm, furthermore we had a handicapped bathroom that had mold on the shower chair and under the soap dish in the shower. The reception was fine. She was the only bright spot.

We were screwed out of our $100 security deposit because when we checked out that morning we forgot to go to the front desk and get the $100 cash that we left with them and now they're telling us that we did not get the security deposit back it should have went back to a credit card and it has not

Stayed here 5 weeks ago on the way to Florida and again coming back. The hot tub was out of order with yellow tape around it and 5 weeks later still the same way. You should take hot tub off your amenities list as it's obvious you aren't fixing it. It's false advertising

Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast options were excellent. Beds were too soft for my liking. Though no fault of the hotel, people above us were extremely noisy late into the evening. Assume they had kids as it sounded like running and jumping and just plane loud. All in all a nice place for the price. Convenient and near other establishments we needed to go to.

Prea and the other lady that checked me in were so nice along with all the other staff. Breakfast was amazing and they had plenty. Didn't check out the pool but it looked nice. As far as the room, OUTSTANDING!! Massive pet friendly room with a door to separate so you essentially get 2 rooms with a shared bathroom like a dorm but all to yourself. I will be back.

The room was okay. It was a “pet friendly” which means a downgrade. The room smelled a stained bathroom still had hair and dirt in the corners. We liked being on the first floor however you could hear everything! From traffic, people upstairs, the doors opening and closing hard, people talking all night… we didn’t sleep good at all. Breakfast was decent. Definitely a tiny area to get your breakfast and try to sit and eat. Probably won’t be staying here again when we meet again.

I liked the gentleman who was running the breakfast. He was very friendly and appeared to take pride in his service.

We had a good stay! It was near Carrabba’s so we had food in walking distance. It would have been nice to use dining area to sit and play cards or eat our take out food.

My vehicle was 1 of 6 vehicles vandalized at this property. After calling the authorities, the hotel manager was called at 5am to access the security footage. The manager had no sense of urgency and didn’t arrive until well after 10am. There was no attempt to notify any of the victims of the vandalism. After the authorities viewed to surveillance footage with the manager, he refused to come out of the office to address the victims, not even to offer an apology. One guest contacted the local news to report the incident. The hotel manager called the police to have the news reporter removed from the premises.

The front desk clerk was polite, but it seemed like I interrupted him from something else when I arrived. The room had a musty smell, and there were visible stains on the carpet. The bathroom was even worse — hair in both the sink and the shower made it obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The photos online are completely misleading; the hotel looks nothing like them in person. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and wouldn’t stay here again.

Breakfast was awesome food was always fresh and the breakfast area stayed clean no spills or mess up food containers! The only issue I had was the linen on one of my beds was not washed and smelled awful l. The room and bathroom was spotless. The room when I first entered smell awful to the point where I gagged. I travel with Lysol so I was ready to spray the room all over. That was my only two issues. If I had more time I would have taking a dip in the indoor pool and Jacuzzi which was nice and clean! The manager and a member from the cleaning crew took care of the linen right away!

Until we’re there, toaster wasn’t working. Staff told us, it has been broken for months but they have to keep it on the counter because they won an award for best hotel and they need it for the esthetic, they have to have it on the counter even if it’s broken. We find that unexceptionable. It’s a sign of poor management. The waffle mix was so thick we couldn’t get it out. The whole buffet was sad looking, very limited.

Kelly was nice and sheets were super soft but the positivity ends there, I maybe got an hr of sleep before you could feel every spring in the bed and my body was in so much pain that I had a spinal headache for two days afterwards. I even tried both beds in the room, I was too exhausted to try and move the children to another room though because we had traveled and it was late.

We arrived late Kelly and Serena were great welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was a good start to get us on the road.

Sabrina checked us in and was quick, to the point and made us feel really welcome. We loved the free cookies and bottled water. Breakfast was ok, eggs, sausage,waffles, cereal, yogurt, bananas and oranges. Our room was huge and the bathroom was of good size as well. Its right off the interstate as well which makes it very convenient. Beware..there are train tracks behind the hotel and it did blow one time all night. Im glad it just went by once bc it sounded like it was coming through our room and about scared me out into the floor from my bed. Ha ha ha

We have travelled a lot, and I’ve never written a bad review. Even though the desk staff was nice on checkin, the rest of the visit was mediocre at best.. The mattress was awful - old, very hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was mediocre - the eggs were watery and waffle station was dirty, caked with batter, so passed on them. Coffee needed refill, juice mix was off and thick. Cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit was ok so did have something to compensate for other bad food. I would recommend finding another hotel in the area.

I was charged a deposit fee even though the room was paid for prior to my arrival. I understand incidentals however, there were no extra amenities in the room. The bedding was insufficient. A fitted sheet, a top sheet and the thinnest “blanket” I had ever seen. Two days into my four night stay, I had someone knocking and then entering my room, saying the room was supposed to be empty. I don’t think I’ll be staying there again.

The staff and the facility are rated very good. There were two negatives. The back door card opener did not work and the room next to mine played their TV at high volume all night.

It was a very warm comforting experience starting with the wooden rockers out front, perfection would’ve entailed different outside scenery. All front desk staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful.

Sabrina greeted us and was very informative and pleasant. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. I may copy the bathroom theme. The accessible bathroom and shower were perfect. Would definitely stay again.

This was our first stay at this Country Inn and Suites in Macon. Checkin was excellent. Sabrina was very friendly and welcoming and had us checked-in and to our room quickly and fully informed on the property's features, layout and on what to expect. Room exceeded expectations. It had been recently updated and was very clean, fresh and quiet. Even thought the property was busy we had a quiet night and slept well. Breakfast was quite good and the hostess did a great job keeping things supplied, tables cleaned and being friendly and welcoming. One suggestion,,,,helpful if there was some hooks for clothes and towels in the bathroom. We have tried a number of other hotels/motels in Macon over the last 10 years on trips to Florida. This Country Inn and Suites in Macon North will be our go to option going forward based on our experience in January 2025. It exceeded expectations and completely fulfilled on the advertised offering.

Not bad for a night stop on the road, but the rooms smell like mold.

The pool looked great, but the hot tub was a yellow colour. Decided not to use that, and it was a deciding factor in choosing this hotel. You can tell that they really try at this hotel, but in many ways they just don’t quite make the mark. A little more attention to detail and maintenance is required.

Everything was fine until my wife and I woke up and she found a roach crawling in the bed near her pillows. We also found a dead roach in the living room next to the refrigerator. I think that the exterminator needs to come into Room 418 and spray the entire room. Other than that everything else was fine. The Staff was very friendly.
