Homewood Suites by Hilton Macon-North

I always bring my own cleaning supplies to hotels.. When I walked in the room, it not only smelled fresh. It was immaculate. Room temp was perfect and everything was spotless.

We have stayed at this hotel for many years. It seems to have been updated because everything was lovely. It is also close to many restaurants and shopping!

Friendly staff, breakfast offered lots of choices- hot items, overnight oats, cereals, bagels, yogurt, toast, etc. Included all of the extras, cream cheese, butter and jelly, salsa and shredded cheese with eggs. Bed was comfortable.

The food had gnats, no bowls for the cereal, no toaster for the toast. The only hot food option were eggs, sausage, hashbrowns. A gnat landed in my daughter’s drink. I am so disappointed especially for the price of the room.

The early free breakfast is a real advantage, especially for those who want to get back out on the road; overall, this is a very, very pleasant experience.

The welcome was lovely, the hotel is gorgeous and well-appointed. It was by far the best stay my daughter and I experienced during our cross country move. The breakfast bar was quality, well-stocked with attention to detail. The staff were cheerful and did everything possible to welcome us.

The young lady at the front desk was very sweet! I always enjoy staying here, the rooms are spacious. Everything you need in the area.

Receptionist at front check in desk was very nice and checked us in promptly. Room was very large, comfortable, and clean. It looks like the room we were assigned had recently been renovated. Breakfast each day were eggs that tasted fresh scrambled and a few other side items. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will stay here again if we are in the Macon area.

Very upset about pet fee since it was not disclosed without having to dig for it. The pool was closed which was disappointing since that was once of the reasons we picked this hotel.

It was awesome despite there was some construction going on.

Eggs to spicy fried potatoe hash brown and grits had hot and nasty spiced in them and we could not eat breakfast because of the smell and taste No waffles no pancakes Just spicey and hot eggs grits taters They should get a new cook and add all the hot sauce on the table in bottles for the people who want it spicey hot

The property was clean and so were the rooms. I thought it was overpriced and had the largest pet fee I've ever paid in my life. Almost $100 extra and they taxed the pet as well. I stayed in downtown Nashville and the Embassy Suited for about the same price

Everything was amazing about the hotel and my stay. The only thing is Turkey Sausage should be brought back. I dont eat pork and then only thing available was Pork Sausages. The young lady said she ordered but it was discontinued. Nothing other then not having breakfast turkey sausages

Breakfast was very good with fresh eggs, not fake, and real hash browns. Delicious! One of the best breakfasts we had at a Homewood Suites. Check-in with Mariah was very friendly and helpful!

Terrible checked in and then out within 30mims of being there the only nice thing was the front desk older lady. Hall way to our room did not have air . Room was old smelled musty was very dirty nothing seemed cleaned. The beds were dirty the one mattress had huge blood stains. Bugs in the bathroom the room above us were so loud you could hear them running constantly. Request d a refund now I am just waiting for management!

Walls and furniture had marks and knicks in them. Bathroom tile were moving, ceiling was peeling, corner of Bathroom floor was black from leaking water.

My only concerns: 1. the floors needed to be swept/vacuumed and mopped well. Too much of the previous guest’s hair was left on the floor indicating that the floors needed to swept/vaccumed. 2. And there was no soap in the soap dispenser in the shower.

Check in was such a breeze. Exceptionally clean and maintained. Great amenities, just has a home feel. Excellent choice for families. The kitchen is top notch! Love this place, highly recommended

The exterior is very modern but the rooms and furniture are a little tired. Cleanliness was marginal. The HVAC is dated so rooms feel damp.

Breakfast staff hit me in the back with a food cart (I have a bad/handicapped back). Didn’t acknowledge me or say sorry. For the price, not great.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice. Few cosmetic things in room such as paint was scratched on wall, but did not affect any functioning of anything.

Great overnight stay. Friendly service from everyone and the breakfast was the best. The ladies must have chosen to season it the way they would like it because it was far and away better than the standard fair.

Hotel staff was great! Rooms needed a refresh and bed was horribly uncomfortable. TV could be updated so I could use my netflix, prime etc. Unfortunately, I don't think I would stay in there again

We have stayed here several times. It is convenient for us on our way to Florida and is very quiet. It is just off I-75 and the staff is always very nice. Room is clean and has a full sized refrigerator.

Staff was friendly; easy check in, lots of dining options. REALLY liked Italian place next door. Hot breakfast held us over during our 8 hour drive.

I was very upset that neither Expedia nor the hotel was clear on the fact that there was a Exorbitant pet fee. All the person checking me in would say was that I didn't book directly with them so there's was nothing she would do. Rip off.

My husband and I stayed here two nights with our small dog. It was a great stay. We had a king suite. It's very spacious and clean. The location is great, very easy access to 75. The bed was very comfortable. I like that it has a full size fridge, microwave and a couple of burners if you want to cook something to save on eating takeout. I love that there is a walk-in shower. There's plenty of parking and the area is safe. There's a Publix right across the street along with several restaurants to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great. The scrambled eggs were very good. This is the second time I've stayed here when visiting Macon. I highly recommend.

The room is seriously outdated. The furniture and decor is straight out of the 1970s. Thanks for the tour of Archie Bunker's house! I won't risk stating at a Homewood Suites again

There were 5 adults and we had 3 beds plus a sitting are and a kitchenette. A king sized bed and HUGE bathroom that is wheelchair accessible for sink and toilet. Has lots of grab bars for tub and shower, but bring a shower stool. 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds and a bathroom with shower/tub and toilet in bathroom, which was a little tight. The sink is outside of bathroom. The sitting area has sleeper sofa which was nice. Kitchenette has a two burner stove, dishwasher, sink and a full size fridge. Very clean

Quiet and safe is always a must. Definitely felt safe here and we were able to get sound sleep. No disturbance. Easy off/on 75. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was above average. Natalia’s the Italian Restaurant next door was delicious.

This is our 2nd stay. The Suites are clean and spacious, perfect for an overnight or extended stay. The staff is friendly, the pool area is nice with gas grills and gazebo.It is close to a variety of shopping, dining options and a nice movie theater as well. We will return.

Wish there had been more silverware and plates as there was 7 of us in the 2 bedroom suite and only 2 forks and 4 plates.

long story short, had a reservation at another Hilton hotel, we were advised to come to this hotel due to the other location having fecal matter on toilet seat and pubic hair in the shower, and the bed was made but had indentions of where someone had been sitting on the top of the bed. So went to this location hoping to have a better experience. Thankfully the toilet was clean and the bed was fresh, but the shower was nasty and showed grim in the cracks and the facility itself was dirty. Then we got woken up at 9am from the house cleaning crew trying to push us out. Once we said we werent ready they proceeded to be EXTRA loud. For Hilton to be such a name brand, I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

The hotel and room were very clean. We were able to park a 26ft U-Haul truck in the back parking lot with plenty of space to get in/out.

The room was ok. The light in the kitchen was not working, the telephone in the living area was not working. We had to get more washcloths as it was just one in the room . We reserved for 5 people. There were only 2 chairs at the dining table which it usually be 4. (We book here a lot). Breakfast was ok. Biscuits were extremely hard. But, we made the best of what we had

The breakfast is good, though the hours are somewhat limited and if you arrive later you may be limited in selections. It appears theres a set amount that’s available and when it’s exhausted that’s it. Parking is available and plentiful. Property is close to shopping.restaurants and the interstate.

My husband and I stayed her for 3 nights with our small dog. The hotel and room was clean and updated. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and well kept. We had a king suite with a kitchenette. The room was very spacious. I loved the shower stall, I prefer a stall shower to a tub. I felt the area around the hotel was safe. The free breakfast was a typical continental breakfast and was good. Directly across the street is a Publix and restaurants. It's very easy to get on and off I75. I would highly recommend this hotel and i would gladly stay here again.

It was a very comfortable night. And the restaurant next to it was also excellent.

The breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed it. But the room was subpar to say the least. The toilet ran FOREVER. It was almost unbearable during the night. We had to constantly jig the handle under the lid after using the bathroom. That needs to be fixed asap. Another issue was that we only had ONE washcloth for the room. It just wasn’t the best experience we have had at a Hilton and we stay often.

Where to start? As a wheelchair user, we had booked an accessible room, which was at the furthest end of the hotel. The receptionist, who was very polite, used a map to show us how we needed to go to the other entrance (not the one closest to the room/elevator, as that had steps), really? So we had to go to the other entrance, along the hallway, to take the elevator to go back along the hallway to get to the room! YES! I guess they don't use that area much, there were cleaning carts left out and garbage on the floor. We get to our room, the dishwasher is running cleaning the dishes so we do know someone had been in the room. But that was about all the evidence there was. The comforter had a large stain, the rest of the room was far from clean, hand prints everywhere, the headboard was dirty. The whole room was tired and in need of new furniture and a good clean. The towels were awesome, lots of fresh, fluffy,. clean towels but that was the best I've got. Disappointing.

Stayed overnight with family on way to Florida. The entire facility was super clean, breakfast the next day was delicious and the staff were all friendly. No complaints whatsoever.

The first room we were assigned was nice but toliet was broken...room 227...we called to asked for someone to come fix the toliet however we were told that no one was on duty to do so...we checked in late around 10pm after a 3 hrs drive..the representative told us we would need to move to a comparable room on the 1st floor...the room on the first floor was dirty and dingy..I didnt have emotional or mental capacity to keep disputing this...so we decided to pack up and leave..we were so disappointed because the "reviews" gave this place a 9/10...this was nkt the case and more so a 3/10...i'm probably am not going to get my money back since I didnt complain formally...but i"ll never book here again. The staff was nice but she seemed stressed. The location was good and the surrounding area seemed nice...Macon could really use a top teir hotel.

We're only a few hours in and the stay has been terrible. There must be a little league party happening this weekend and while the pool is closed the tennis area isn't. It's also right out our window. I guess our sleep and our kids sleep doesn't matter. The tennis area closes at 10pm so I guess we'll have to wait? Staff is unimpressive. By far worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. Beyond disrespectful.
