The room was nicely prepared but could have provided more cover. The tenants didn’t follow instructions on luggage carts so I had to retrieve one on my own. Overall the stay was good.

I received a refund for the second night. nted to share my concerns regarding my stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the room did not meet expectations or basic comfort standards. The bed was unstable and very noisy, making it difficult to rest, and I experienced discomfort during the night due to itching, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Additionally, the bathroom facilities were not functioning properly, as the toilet would not flush consistently, and the overall condition appeared outdated. The walls were extremely thin, and noise from the hallway made it difficult to sleep. Overall, the room did not feel clean or comfortable. I also attempted to contact staff during the night for assistance but was unable to reach anyone. The following morning, when I went to the front desk, I was unable to speak with management for approximately two hours. This lack of availability made it very difficult to address the issues I was experiencing. While the staff I did encounter were polite, the overall experience was very disappointing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to shops and the highway. We really missed having a coffee maker in our room. Also, the bathroom is rather small.

Room was clean and well maintained. Hotel was very noisy overnight. People in the halls were talking and yelling until at least 3:30 AM and staff did nothing about it. Nobody answered the phone when the desk was called to complain about the noise. Also somebody was smoking marijuana in one of the hotel rooms near ours that we could smell in our room and nothing was done about it that we were aware of. We could still smell it the next morning in the room and hallway when we got up.

The traffic noise, the hallway noise and A/C heater noise were ridiculous. I have never been in a hotel room as noisy as this one!!!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff courteous. several issues: Water to the sink took way too long to warm up. No lighting over the sink and mirror. Outside traffic noise and between rooms was noticeable. But for the price, could be overlooked, especially adding in the complimentary breakfast. Would stay again

There was no one at the front desk when i arrived to ck in, i waited like 5-10mins before someone came in from outside. The room was clean the pillows and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was horrible, bagels were rock hard the bananas werent ripe and the coffee was watered down. And there were roaches.

This hotel is in a desperate need of a remodel. The main area smelled terrible. And our room looked like it hadn’t been redone in 20 years. We ended up leaving and staying at the Home2Home.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. It was difficult to find the right Windgate because there are two by the same name that are 15 minutes apart. Make sure you have the right address.

Staff courteous. Very old motel, shower was an old style cubicle, not inviting at all. Updates need updating.

The thermostat for the room did not work properly. Either it blew cold air when on heat or you had to set it at 80 to get heat. Shower shampoo was empty! Room was marginally clean as there was residue of something on the floor.

Smelled old and walls were too thin

Beds were extremely noisy and difficult to stay sleeping when you or someone else moves. Some loud drama down the hall which they had no control over, but I was in a room that had an adjoined room and it was as though the people were actually in my room. Could clearly hear ever word! Terrible nights’ sleep for us!

Lobby smelled like vomit as soon as we walked in. Staff was nice but our hallway smelled very strongly of marijuana. The room was clean, very outdated but nice and did not smell bad. We ended up checking out early as we were woken up by a cockroach crawling across us at 4 AM. As we were leaving the vomit smell was even stronger. Stay somewhere else.

Clean, great price. Doing updates and the staff are the best ever!! Refrigerator need to be replaced in Rooms 112, 111. Barely keep things cold. Other than that, it's great!! Dove products in the bathrooms are wonderful!!!

When we arrived the desk manager, Mr. Patel, was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they're putting a lot of care into switching owners. He gave us a little treat bag and check in was easy. We were driving and stopped here for one night so you don't expect much. But not only was it clean and friendly, the beds and pillows were actually comfortable! Like real pillows and blankets! I know y'all know what I'm saying. For the price this place was the Taj Mahal of 2 star hotels. Hot breakfast free in the morning and Mr. Patel was there in the morning fixing an issue in his street clothes. That's care and dedication people!

The man at check in at the front desk was super nice. The lady the next morning was loud and not too friendly. Overall it was a good stay for passing through.

This is a good location to just stop on your trip and rest for the night. Hallways are hot, room took forever to cool down, had an odd mildew smell.

Obviously this not like a 5 star resort but I gave it 5 stars in my review because it well exceeded our expectations. My wife and I just needed a place to sleep for the night on our travels and found this hotel. To put it in her words, we had a 5 star rest for a 3 star price. This hotel had more than exceeded my expectations for an on the road overnight stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We came in late evening and really liked that the staff gave us a small welcome chip and more importantly a list of area restaurants with their closing times. A big help. The halls smelled of new paint not pot ( a rarity recently;). The room was efficient, clean and air cold) . The bathroom had a european type shower ( no bath). The bed had white sheets ( my preference) and was very comfortable. Lastly a nice variety of staple breakfast foods and coffee/water available 24/7 .

I have a very small service dog that is cleaner than most people. She's hypoallergenic, she doesn't shed, and she doesn't bark. The desk person wanted to relegate us to one of two "dog rooms," neither of which had a king bed. I cannot sleep without my husband in the same bed. There was no carpeting. The shower head was face high which made it very difficult to wash my hair.

Dead palmetto bug in our room and hallway. No pool. No vending machine. Ice machine old and hasnt been cleaned in a while. Found black things all in it. Elevator stinks and the safety license is expired. Staff was nice

Our room was clean.The staff helped me find a phone charger and welcomed us with water & & crackers. Most of all, our bed was comfortable.Great stay for the price and going to a concert at the amphitheater.

Great roadside stop for one night, or maybe a couple days. Stay if you need to be in the area. Was very clean, and breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, plus the usual cold stuff. Right across from a huge shopping plaza with many restaurant options and a Kroger grocery store. The Direct TV went down during a storm, but certainly not their fault. AC/heat system in the room was a little unusual in that it would automatically switch from AC to heat if the room went slightly colder than your AC setting. I didn't really want the heat on in August just to increase the room by 1°, but I couldn't control that.

The facility isn't clean. The base of the bed was some cheap metal/tin that made a metal popping noise anytime I sat down or got up. The toilet tank cover was some random tank cover that wasn’t made for the toilet. Lots of caulking to mask flaws and funk. My stay was intended to break up my long drive so only overnight or I would’ve looked for another facility.

WE requested a non-smoking room, but around 3:00 AM the bathroom filled up with marijuana smoke from another room. the smell was terrible and very strong that we woke up from it. when we told the front desk they apologized and said they cant't control everyone and this is a non-smoking room.

The room was clean but the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast but it had the basics of waffles, sausage, eggs, juice, cereal, fruit, yogurt. I would stay here again though

We expected it to be a little less impressive due to the low cost. But was still surprised to see 2 cockroaches the next morning. 1 in our room and 1 by our door.

I would consider this motel sun-standard. Morning breakfast was terrible. The ice machine was broken, the TV cable was not working, the AC thermostat was also not working properly. Very poor choice.

My pet peave was that the children were at the breakfast bar and was out of control. I didn't get breakfast the kids were there seem as if they didn't wash his putting hands on most of the open foods like the toast

Hotel exceeded expectations for the price! Attendant was nice and friendly. Food was better than expected - they served waffles, eggs , sausage, yogurt, bagels, and more. Place had a musty smell, but was really clean. Bathroom was clean. Would stay again on a road trip.

Place is clean and the mattress was better than most places I have stayed. Seems to be a little dated but not bad. Eggs and sausage and other stuff for breakfast and it was good. Walls are a little thin so if kids are near or like to run inside you will hear them. Over all it’s not a bad place.

Breakfast bar could be attended a bit better and our card keys in either room were turned off before we returned from breakfast. Staff was nice

The quality of the room was a two… sheets were clean but rough, same with brown blanket. We could feel the springs in the bed. The furniture is old and beat up, the desk chair wouldn’t stay in position. The light switch by the sink was broken and the floor is failing. It was very evident that someone smoked in the room and it was being masked by air fresheners. Thankfully ,y we were only there to sleep…

Staff was exceptionally friendly. The room looked nice but the shower floor was dingy. The bed frame was all metal and extremely uncomfortable. It’s a cheap hotel, you get what you pay for I guess. I’ve stayed in worse.

The hotel needs some upgrades, the mattress was hard and i do mean hard, had low water pressure, and i was only on the 2nd floor, and the shower was like a closet it was one of those stand-up showers and it wasnt a full one, now i know why they didnt have pictures of the bathroom on their website, but i only stayed one night so it was cool

There is NO pool at this hotel, although it is the very first picture in advertising. I came with my kids for the whole week of spring break and they were dreaming of swimming in the pool.

Missing amenities like kleenex, plastic cups etc. Handle for the bathroom door was missing, just a hole in the door which we had to stuff a wash cloth in the hole. Could have been cleaner.

The beds are on metal frames that make noise anytime you move. You can also hear anyone in the hallway or in the rooms next to you.

My air did not work when I told the housekeeper man! He just blew me off so the desk lady came up and had to do it. The mattress was hard and very uncomfortable. It had me hurting when got up. And that lemon water up front if you are not going to change it get rid of the whole thing. Very old and growing bacteria. Never ever again. I deserve my money back.

This Hotel is not a part of the Wyndum chain and you can tell from the dated funishing. None working closet doors and other room missing the closel door. Not a place Ii would recommend.

Could use new carpet upgrade in halls and stairs. Looks like newer floors in rooms. Good free breakfast options, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juices. Shopping and eating options right across the street. Safe area.

It was awesome! We were late but were taken care of and felt at home. Only complaint I have was the road noise, but as the building was older, not from neglect. It was an amazing stay!

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price! It was much nicer than I anticipated—clean, well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bed was super soft and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked again on my way home. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff and breakfast were both good. But we couldn't sleep! The loudest road noises we've ever had, and we travel a bunch! Even with a sound machine and additional white noise on my phone you could still hear the freeway...even at 2am. The hotel room was disappointing as well. Small and uncomfortable. Broken bathroom door, mold on the shower light fixture, the AC wouldn't stay on. How this hotel scored 8 on expedia I have no idea. We were very disappointed.

Our stay was 10/10. I enjoyed every part, me and my family were satisfied and safe. The continental breakfast was an absolute hit. Fresh bananas,waffle makers,cereal ect.. The rooms were so nice and spacious definitely kid friendly. I would say if you want good quality low price come here!

- Staff were helpful and friendly - Price was very affordable - Room was relatively clean and odor free The Bad: - The room was very dated. The bathroom was in somewhat rough condition, so while it was clean, it was not an appealing place to shower. - It was incredibly noisy. Other people said that in their reviews and I ignored it because I am a deep sleeper, but it was SO LOUD. The interstate noise was very difficult to ignore and the hallway was full of people shouting and running around until about 3a. I had my noise up turned all the way up but it was a very noisy night. - While my room was clean, the rest of the hotel was very grungy. Especially the main stairwell - the carpet was filthy and very off putting. In summary, this is a fine hotel if you're trying to save a buck and you're used to roughing it. But compared to the other Wingate on I-75 (about 15 minutes away), this hotel is in very poor condition.

We spent a night here on the way to Florida. Things were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of variety for breakfast. Recommend!

Woke up twice due to the sound of running water next door

Property is dated and needs major work. Figured a Wyndham in this area would be a safe bet. Not so much. Front desk person was very nice but overall the place needs an overhaul.

Toilet did not work at check in room 100, maintenance had to come out twice. Racks in bathroom for towels rusty. Toilet seat was loose and hard to sit on without it sliding around. Breakfast continually ran out of eggs. Breakfast ended and 0900-0915 the 2 days I was there, they just started cleaning and putting everything up. Ice machine downstairs broken, had to go to 3rd floor, something black in ice on 3rd floor looks like mold.

Great bang for your buck, good breakfast, staff was professional. A little noisy next to highway. Would stay here again.

The hotel was ok for one night. The room smelled like old cigarettes when we arrived. Turning the air on helped a little. The ac was very loud and slow to come on. The beds were not very comfortable and the walls were very thin. Not too many breakfast options. The location was good, close to the highway and dining options around.

I love that the shower had a door instead of a curtain it was very convenient!! The bed was comfortable, the adjustable AC was nice. The water in the shower was hot I loved it!
