Very clean room. Nice and spacious. Has microwave and fridge in room. A lot of breakfast buffet choices.

Room was not clean,place had bugs in room. Water did not work and front desk lady traded rooms for the second room to be more awful. The staff was rude to guest. They don't want kids there. Charged extra 100 dollar's. Pictures where of fancy areas.

No complaints- it was a decent place to stay and conveniently near everything.

No hot water in the shower. Sidewalks near guest rooms were in bad shape. Same for parking lot - except for in the front of the property.

On male staff was pleasant over the phone. Another female staff was pleasant at checkout. In between, the elderly man at the desk did not show much compassion. When I reported broken toilet/not flushing on the first night, his immediate response was that it should have been reported when housekeeping staff were available! WTH! Who saw the future to know that the toilet would malfunction after staff closed for the day. After insisting, he offered another room. There no no help with moving rooms. No apologies. No compassion. No understanding. I am neither coming back here, nor recommending this dilapidated hotel to anyone.

The hotel was overall adequate, but there was a big party that made the whole place vibrate until midnight. It was a horrible experience. It felt like I was sharing a wall with a rock concert. They never should’ve booked guests while a Quinceañera party was happening till midnight.

Free breakfast was so-so. We went across the street to Bob Evans the next morning. Sunday night there was a mariachi band in the party room. LOUD music went on till after midnight. Ears plugs did NOT help. Very poor for a place to sleep, not party all night.!

Is what I would expect from a chain hotel "hot breakfast". The only criticism is that both breakfast meats were pork-based (sausage and bacon). Would have been nice if the sausage were a turkey-based product as I don't eat pork. Would have been nice if the HVAC in the room was quieter. The temperature control was a bit sketchy, too. Sometime the heat would run well past the set temperature, and I'd have to manually turn if off until the room cooled down again.

The receptionist was professional and really nice she let us know where everything was. The room was easy to find and the room appeared to be clean, THE BATHROOM was horrible we were there for a football tournament for our youngest son and my husband, son and I washed up at the sink the shower was that bad and the tub was peeling an filthy. The towels had stains on them so I purchased some washcloths at dollar general. I did not like the location people were screaming at night and hollering

The first room we had the Air conditioner was so loud we couldn't sleep. At 2AM we went to desk for another room. Bathtub was also well worn and dirty. 2bd room was better except the shower head was broken. Will not stay there again.

I had to change my room 3 times. TV did not work & the door wasn't lining up, air conditioner broke middle of night, room had big cocker roaches. I want half of my money reimbursement. Weeked was disappointing. The property need to be power wash.

Rooms are advertised as non smoking, however we tried 3 different rooms and each one smelled worse of cigarette smoke than the last. Ended up leaving because my wife is allergic to cigarettes. Also there were bugs in the last room. Very poor on the cleanliness and would not recommend.

The listing incorrectly says there is a car charger there. There is NO car charger. When I tried to eat the free breakfast, the eggs, bacon, and yogurt were empty. The breakfast tables were dirty and sticky. The front counter was sticky when I checked in. I killed two tiny bugs in the bathroom which I think were baby roaches. I booked two nights but after the first night I left for better accommodations.

Easy internet hookup, streaming options on big screen tv. But bring lots of connection options for your electronics. Wiring old tech.

Cleanliness and people were extremely nice

My stay was not so good. Reserved a king but was given double beds. TV did not work, toilet ran all day and night, room was not cleaned, beds not made up and trash not taken out of room.

It was a dump. Loud music from the bar that shook the bed, it was dirty, to pool was so cloudy you couldnt see the ladder steps, we were ignored trying to check in, the bathroom door didnt close, the room keys didnt work and had to be reprogrammed (both of them), the breakfast was awful including bad coffee, the television didnt work and I was told no one on property could fix it. Overall, not worth the money we spent. We considered checking out and going somewhere else, but since we had paid in full ahead of time, it would have been a waste to spend more money elsewhere.

Everything was great, except when we went for breakfast at 8:15. All of the hot food was gone. Bacon, eggs and potatoes were just crumbs and they didn't replenish.

The first room we were in flooded as soon as you turned the shower on. The second room we were placed in, had cigarette burns through the sheets and the bathroom had hair balls in the sink and shower.

It’s okay not bad not great either. Just a quick place to stop and rest.

Nice hotel

For the amount of time we spent in the room, the room was fine. The heater worked well, there was plenty of hot water and the bed was quite comfortable. The floor wasn't the cleanest so we wore shoes.

I spoke with the front desk that I want to stay longer, he said talk to Expedia, Expedia said to speak with the hotel management. I sent an email and nobody reply to me. I left the hotel two days earlier. Never come back to this placef.

Walls were not sound proof,slow toilet flush,and unsafe electric outlets were coming loose from the wall. Plus guests had to go up to the second floor balcony outside from the cold,to receive their continental breakfast

I know that things happen but there was no water to shower in the morning. Crews were working on the issue but not within the time window posted in the lobby so we thought we'd have water to shower but did not. Also, breakfast was being served out of a random guest room on the 2nd floor. As for the room itself, everything was good and clean.

Property has made physical improvements since covid. Property is clean with decent amenities. Rooms are good size and fairly well maintained. Staff are friendly and pleasant. The breakfast has a fairly decent selection to choose from. Good choice at a reasonible price. Close to main highway and a variety of resturaunts and stores close by.

The room was fairly clean and it looks like they recently remodeled the room, but it's not perfect. The AC/Fan seemed like it was as old as the building. The grounds and building were alright, but definitely need some updating. The internet was HORRIBLE, it was WIDE open with no password required and NO guest isolation, it was like the wild west of wireless access. Additionally, all the room TVs are also on the network so I was getting a notification every couple minutes to allow a connection to a "smart device", even though I was not trying to connect to the TV at all. The worst part about the notification, since the remote is a custom remote, you can't deny it or get the message to go away at all, so you are stuck looking at the notification until it goes away. I opened a Samsung remote control app and just scanned for TVs to see what was on the wireless network, EVERY SINGLE TV was available. No wonder I kept getting those notifications to connect a smart device every 2 minutes, anyone could try to connect to any TV as long as they were on the wide open Best Western wireless network. I brought this problem up to staff, but I don't think it was addressed at all before my stay was over. My recommendation, if you HAVE to use the wireless network, make real sure you are using a VPN to tunnel ALL your network traffic or anyone can see what you are doing online, and I would not do anything sensitive on the wireless network like banking.

Good deal at a good price. Convenient location right off the highway. Easy access to shopping. Would have given it another star if the breakfast room was easier to find, and stayed open till checkout time.

Unhappy with neighbors, they were very loud made it impossible to sleep. I was working night shift so naturally I thought no one would be around during the day so I could sleep but YHAT DID NOT HAPPEN

I’m sure this motel was super amazing back in the 1970s, however, this is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. I am not joking. The shampoo was already used, so it makes you wonder what else had already been used. Hair on the bathroom ceiling. Fixtures in the shower that are at least 25-30 years old. Got on the bed and it fell in one spot. The sound it made when it fell reminded me of a sound I had heard a half hour earlier coming from the room above I suppose that means their bed fell, also. Loud music and partying going on in the room above me on a Saturday night until after 12:30am. I had to park out back because there was a lack of parking spaces and I was afraid somebody was gonna break into my car - the area is not the best. Basically, I did not feel safe. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting! I tried eating the sausage and I just couldn’t take it… I figured I’d go ahead and play it safe with the individual peanut butter and jelly packets, but the bread was stale and hard as a rock. The TV did not even have cable… It only offered for you to enter your password to access your own Netflix. No other working stations on the TV! Rust on the very loud heater/air conditioner unit. Dings and dents in the wall. The curtains would not slide open! I had to keep them closed the whole time. A couple lights did not work. I guess I could go on and on and on. I will never stay at this place ever, ever again.

Basic balcony-type motel, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in a former guest suite with basic but limited options. Convenient to I66.

The room was clean, however just a tad outdated and smaller than expected. The continental breakfast was probably the most extensive and best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Very good. Staff was hardworking and professional. I would stay again and recommend to anyone traveling the area.

The bathroom had some issues. it was supposed to be accessible. The faucet was very difficult to figure out and then to maneuver and we didn´t have disabilities. Also, the sliding door slid into the wall and then could only be closed by dragging it from the very top or the very bottom. I reported these issues to the front desk, and hopefully they will be repaired before the next guests arrive.

This was a great value for money which had been recently upgraded. That being said, the AC was VERY noisy and needed to run all night as the humidity in the room was definitely high. Overall good experience but not great nights sleep.

Room was nice and clean. Property was groomed and clean. Only complaint would be breakfast, not really good, very limited.

Less breakfast options, watered down juice and coffee. Rooms were smelling smoke. Bathroom shower is like power wash. Loud music from the banquet hall kept us awake post midnight.

1st morning awakened by room service at 8 am; 2nd night smoke detector "low battery" woke us at 2 am. Tissue box had 2 tissues left in it. Tile floors always damp b/c ancient HVAC couldn't handle it. The property is too old and worn out. On the plus side, the limited choices for breakfast were fresh and attendant pleasant.

I didn’t read the reviews well enough. This was a two story, more like motel. It was secured by doors to the parking lot. The restaurant and bar were not open, supposedly being renovated but we never saw anyone working. The “breakfast “ and I use that term loosely, was in one of the upstairs rooms, that had all the furniture removed. Coffee and omelette one day and did have sausage one day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but a bit mid century modern feel. I was disappointed that Expedia nor Best Western had bothered to update the information on the site. I guess I was expecting too much by it being a Best Western…

No hot water whatsoever; very noisy; old facilities. Would not stay there again.

The shower leaked through the wall into the bedroom floor. I killed a cockroach near the bathroom.

Hotel was far from acceptable. Banquet room hosted a party that played loud booming music until 12:40 am...followed by loud music from another party the next night. Manager was not on property to respond to situation. Breakfast area appeared not to be clean or inviting. Watched a worker take egg product from a large trash type bag to heat them....bag looked like it held 100+ items. Despite workers appearing to serve themselves, no one appeared to be refilling missing product. Room was clean despite gaps around the door. Air conditioner was loud and when off you could hear neighbors. When neighbors showered pipes in our room vibrated and hissed loud. House keeping started at 7:30...knocking on doors to clean room and gardener started at 8. This hotel denied a restful vacation.

Room not reflective of pictures online. Tv was old and not a clear picture. Water not provided free of charge-that’s terrible! Bath towels were small size. Breakfast was minimal, served in a former guest room. Felt dark and tacky, very little choice. Loud group of people at 5 am in the gazebo outside our room-seemed like employees-so no sleep after 5 am. Charged $15 to check in 2 hours early. Booked online and very disappointed. No amenities and since we had no car we had very limited options close by.

It’s a very cute retro hotel. Nicely working on updates. Very nice service. Unfortunately the room had a strong odor of lingering old cigarette smoke. The “dining” area was a converted room in the extreme other end of the hotel. The TV had a very blurry screen. There was no guide for tv so I had to call desk to ask to get a number for a channel. I think given the options I would stay there again under the same circumstances.

The water was too hot could not adjust. You need another ice machine down the other end of the hotel. Holding bar in the shower. The TV volume would not louder. Everything in the room was great in condition. I slept peacefully. The pool looked beautiful and clean. I like the setup in the yard for a picnic. Next time i will get a first floor room. By myself with luggages was too much going up and down the stairs. I felt uncomfortable the location of the elavator. The breakfast was good. I would stay again cause of the location was perfect. You can walk to the stores.The parking near my room was safe. I will stay again there again.

In a world where you get what you pay for this Motel is it. I booked a 3 night stay and I was looking to keep the cost down. I decided to go with the Best Western because of the affordable price and it also included breakfast. I was nervous because of some reviews and its location. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at my stay. The room was average but clean and easy to get to. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The included breakfast didn’t have the largest selection but was good and filled me up. Overall, my experience was a good one. Best Western exceeded my expectations for the price I paid for the room.

The hotel was clean and convenient. The staff was kind although terribly limited. The pool was beautiful ants clean. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant area were closed for renovations, which was completely inconvenient and I was terribly unaware of. But overall the staff is doing a great job and it was fully worth the ADR (rate).

The TV didn't work--I've used a fire stick before; this one just didn't work. When I asked the front desk staff for instructions, he gave me "the guide" which turned out to be the channel list, absolutely useless. When I checked the reviews I saw other people had the same problem--my bad for not trying the TV in time to change rooms. I caught and disposed of 5 small beetles or roaches in the bathroom during the night; I hope I didn't bring any home with me. The latch on the bathroom door had obviously been broken previously and badly repaired, and didn't work. I've never been so disappointed in a hotel room. The location was good, the AC worked, and the bed was comfortable, or they wouldn't get any stars at all.

The gentleman at the front desk was unkind to my party while checking in. The air conditioner needs to be replaced. The room was not warm and air conditioner could not keep up.

An older property, kept up well, quiet room.

Our one night stay was very good. Everything was very clean, room, lobby, interior courtyard, pool. Very much liked how safe we felt, having all the entry doors that access the interior rooms and courtyard locked and only hotel guests have access. Very dog friendly, only $15! Breakfast very good, nice selection of hot and cold items.

I was charged for the room even though I fully paid online. Hopefully the person I checked out with was able to correctly fix the issue and I get a refund for being charged twice for the room.
