Quality Inn Manassas

First room that was given to me was not touched in a while. I spoke with the front desk on the cleanliness of the room. He came down and investigated it and promptly moved me to another room. No continental break fast left. I went for coffee and food the next morning around 8 am after I was told the day before that breakfast was served from 6-9. Parking lot look as if a tornado went through. Don’t get me wrong there was a storm that did roll through however, staff should have been on it the next morning.

There was no coffee in the morning breakfast. The breakfast consisted of waffles and apples. Could not find apples. Was very disappointed. Had to go out and buy coffee and breakfast some where else. The bathrooms needed remodeling. Look old.

Check in was quick and simple. The room was a good size and the bed comfy.

Very loud outside at 4am and smelled odd.

Bath tub wasn’t clean( lots of hair behind the shower curtain) found few hairs in bed, air conditioning was barely working and pretty stinky, front office guy saw me at the reception but ignored us and was busy watching his reels until we called him.

I arrived at 11 pm needing a room because I was stranded overnight at the airport. The room I was given was not prepared for guests, so I had to walk all the way back to the front desk to request another. The room looked and smelled clean, but the door and moldings were scratched, ripped up, torn up, and the upholstered chair had holes. Because of that I did not open any drawers or use any equipment. I left before breakfast. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

This hotel was awful. There was burnt holes in the cover. The sheets was very dingy and didn't look clean at all. The towels was dirty, still had stains on them. I wouldn't give this hotel a star, but you have to give it at least one star.

Room was old, ac unit filthy, mattress snuck in the middle, pillows were tiny squares and uneven filling, some outlets didn’t work, refrigerator would make loud sound about every hour, shower worked off and on

The check in process was fine but! The first room we were assigned the smoke detecor was burnt black and removedfrom its place on the wall. The wall wasblack where the wires had burned! The second room they assigned us was supposed to be a non smoking room. It reaked of smoke. The 3rd room they assigned us also had oders that irritated our senses, but was mildly tolerable. The mattress was worn out that slumped to the center. All three rooms had worn out and dirty chairs, and beaten up furnishings. The title Quality Inn was clearly a miss nomer, and was far from truthful.

We stayed one night at this motel. We had to wait several minutes to get checked in, but the front-desk person was very nice. Unfortunately, the room was small and dark (not every light worked), the bathroom downright tiny, and the bed was too soft and very uncomfortable. We were unable to get an extra towel. Breakfast was limited, so we ate out. When we got back, we couldn't get in because the security latch on the inside somehow got pushed into place, making it impossible to open the door. The manager got it open for us and we're glad that the security latch worked, but it was one more inconvenience. We won't be back.

This was a very bad experience in this hotel. We asked for a non-smoking room just for the room to stink and reek of smoke. We had family members that suffer from asthma. Not only this but the bed sheets were stained with what looked to be blood or something like that. It wasn’t a good experience. I really had a bad time, I do not recommend this place to anyone who likes a clean sleeping place.

The girl at the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Everything was as I expected it to be.

Hotel was dirty and dingy with both flying bugs and crawling bugs. The shower was inoperable.

The bathroom had a dead bug on the floor, the sheets were wrinkled and didn’t seem clean. The sink drain looked rotten. They charged us an extra $20 to get in a room at approximately 2 pm. The breakfast was a joke. They had a few yogurts, but I had to ask for them to be restocked, some apples, cereal and waffles. The orange juice looked and smell odd. It was a very unpleasant stay.

The door to the exterior didn’t even shut all the way. Looked like it had been kicked in at some point? Road construction immediately adjacent to property. Extremely noisy starting at 4am

Was able to check in early, but there was a $20 fee. Got to the room and the AC unit was not on. Couldn’t turn it on until I unplugged and plugged it back in. Air was only coming out of half of the vents, the other vents were molded closed. There were dead bugs in the bathroom. But the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good.

The cleaning staff were most excellent. they made the place worthy of my stay. The male front desk staff were also very nice. However, the person who checked me in was the weakest link. Yes. Only coffee is served for breakfast or placed in rooms. This is not fair to non-coffee drinkers. There should be option of tea or cocoa drink, especially for guests with children. Milk in a flask, poured by everyone is a recipe for health issues.

Our room was clean however i chose this motel for the pool. It was closed the entire time i was there, 6 nights. Id like some money back. Also breakfast only consist of waffle, cereal in a box and poor milk from coffee pot, oranges and yogurt. NO TOAST, BAGELS OR MUFFINS...

I checked in. In the morning time and my reservation was put as a no show. Therefore all the non smoking room go booked up and I was stuck with a smoking room all my stuff reeks. Breakfast was a joke. Also the pool was closed the entire time

Stay was good. Breakfast was very basic, cereal, yogurt, waffles, coffee, orange juice, fruit. Thank goodness McDonald's is in walking distance. Customer service was great.

This place needed a renovation 10 years ago.....I was hesitant at first to book and now I know why , my experience with these level hotels is generally bad and this one was no different.

The ice machine on the first floor was out of order. The instructions were to use the ice machine located on the 2nd floor. There were no elevators and have trouble walking up a flight of stairs. In addition, there was no hot water in the shower. I let it run for 10-15 minutes and not even warm. The sink had hot water. I didn't realize it until the morning of check out. I reported it to the front desk and asked what I needed to do to get at least a partial refund. He did not speak much English and expected me to wait while he went down to the room to ensure there was a problem. I told him I had let the water run for a long time and I didn't have that long to wait for him to run down there just to prove I was telling him the truth.

Easy access to the highway. Easy checkin. Lots of dining and shoppping options nearby. Lowest priced hotel.

Poor toilet. Would hardly flush

We didn’t realize the property was so old. Two separate parties of guests were yelling at each other. One had to call the police. BRIGHT SPOT, young lady who checked us in was fantastic! She went beyond her duties to help us and another Solheim golf fan guest with a copy of the golf tournament schedule, among other helpful tips.

Noise from AC unit was loud and made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was much less than expected

It was very efficient to get to the concert venue, but it was also close to the highway so noisy due to traffic and people coming and going. We would stay there again, though.

Pool was closed, property felt very unsafe with people doing illegal activities. If you have a family stay clear of this place.

For 10/$20 you could stay at Holiday inn 2 minutes down the street, they have clean rooms, restaurant and bar, nice lobby with sofas and big screen tv, patio with tables for smokers and you can take your drinks outside all day all night, and You could have breakfast at their restaurant for a little extra..

Roaches.

The only problem we had was at check-in. We were not on the Choice hotels database for a room at any of their hotels. Fortunately they had a room available and booked us in. They were able to make contact with Expedia and confirm we had a booking but it had not made the transition from Expedia to Choice hotels. So it worked out OK but had us worried for a while that we might have to pay twice.

The front desk person (prolly manager) spoke with me very rudely and on asking why are speaking rudely he almost came for physical assault. I have footages. NEVER EVER STAY IN THIS MOTEL.

Breakfast could have had a few more options like toast/bagels for those who do not like waffles.

Our room smelled of puke our entire stay and there were many boogers on the walls by the bed and in the bathroom.

They need to look around whole room after cleaning. A beer can left beside chair and A/C.

We asked for a non-smoking room and it was marked as such, but there was severe smoke smell in the room. Room was not clean, sheets had holes and chocolate on them. Floors were dirty and tables were sticky. Room had no remote control for the tv. Very little outlets to plug in phone etc.

There were two cockroaches, one in our room and one in the lobby bathroom. The toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom, the maid tried to make us leave an hour before checkout, and we were not permitted access to the pool until 12.

Not clean … unprofessional, lack of safety environment, room too much expensive for a poor service, noise in rooms a round and nobody to assist, etc.

First, the front desk staff were great and very helpful. There is nothing else good to say. There were bugs on the walls, ceiling, and floors. The floors were dirty and the furniture was scratched and showed age, refrigerator was so unsteady I thought it would fall over, there were stains on the bathroom linens, and the mattresses were so uncomfortable it made our backs hurt. Breakfast consisted of oranges, yogurt, prepackaged cereal and milk in a pitcher. I will not stay here again.

Room 1 had dead roaches in the floor, bed and bathroom. Room 2 the bath tub didn't even work. Room 3 the main door was bent so bad at the bottom, you could see outside, which let all the bugs crawl in. Room 4 was the only room that didnt show any problems.

The apple and orange juice machine needed cleaning. Each time I got either of the juices, black particles came out of the apple juice machine…and clear slim came out of the orange juice machine. I attempted to report the matter to the front desk attendant, but no one was there on Sunday August 27, 2023. In my room, I had to kill several cockroaches. The bathroom toilet seat had numerous, to what appeared to be cigarette burn stains on the lid. The refrigerator was initially turned off; when I opened it up, roaches came out of it. The bed was comfortable, but the room overall had a musty, funky smell to it. And finally, upon checking in and headed to my room, there were a number of what appeared to be “women of the night” prostitutes hanging around outside the motel, so much so, the police was called. I would rate this motel a “3.”

The price of the room was way to high, it definitely wasnt worth $165.00 a night. The ac didnt cool good at all.

The area was dirty, the room had half a roll of toilet paper when we checked in. The breakfast offered almost no options for my daughter with a peanut allergy and celiac disease. Our room had mold in the corners of the wall at the ceiling, it smelled of stale water or cigarettes in our non-smoking room. We could not use the pool for longer than a half an hour due to construction going on in the driveway adjacent to it and the severe fumes. My expectations were extremely low and they were still not met.

They were in the middle of powerwashing the property. We also had a storm come in once we got into our room. I called the front desk to let them know we had water on the floor under our door. They just said ok. Nothing else was done. Also, the "included breakfast" was cold coffee, corn flakes, and yogurt that was sitting on the counter.

I should have read the reviews first. Dirty. Killed multiple bugs. The a/c unit was falling into the room (134) so you could see clearly outside through the louvers. The breakfast was minimal, only hot food was make-your-own waffles. Bathroom had hair in all the floor corners. Shower had some mildew. Good hot water and pressure though.

Overall the actual stay wasnt the worst and the room was clean. The only issue i have is that the room we were given had cockroaches. As soon as we went in and turned the light on the scattered.

Upon entering our room, we noticed that cigarette burns covered the bedspreads. When my wife called to complain about the cover, she realized that the room telephone did not work, so she had to use her own cell phone to reach the front desk. The hotel clerk admitted that the bedspread did not sound ‘presentable’. Sometime during the afternoon, we were startled by loud banging and jack hammering outside of our room. We discovered a trio of construction workers doing work above our unit on the 2nd floor balcony. Later that night, we discovered that the television set was also broken. We called the front desk again to complain about the broken tv set. This morning I called the front desk from my cell at 8:53am to see what time breakfast ended and was told, “9am. You have 5 min!” What sort of hotel stops breakfast at 9am?!!! Worse yet, my wife woke up to a dead bug (what appeared to be a bed bug or a baby roach?!) next to her pillow. After showering, and in a hurry to leave the disgusting room, my wife (who had just washed her long hair) discovered that the wall mounted hair dryer did not work. She called the front desk to let them know that the hair dryer was broken. Not long after my wife called the front desk, probably at around 10am, loud ja

I called the front desk about the noise two times as it was going on for hours upon hours. Then, after having a late night, came back to the room, go to bed and was woken up at 4:55 AM with her phone ringing and nobody was on the other end. We continue to get more calls at 5:15 and 530. It was absolutely ridiculous an inconvenient as we did not ask for a wake up call or anything and then we’re woken up very early which we had not planned and had a long drive ahead of us. I will never stay at this quality Inn again. I didn’t think that there was any quality about this inn!! I’d like a partial refund or some credit to stay somewhere else. I would never tell my friends or family about this location. It was terrible.

The front desk folks were very accommodating. That is the only positive thing i can say. The room was musty and had old cigarette smell. There were mashed banana peels in front of our our door. And no desire to try the shower because of the multiple bugs on the floor and in the shower.

The first room I was given reeked of cigarette smoke. Staff immediately gave me a different room. New room had a light out where the ironing board is. The water pressure at the sink was nonexistent. The arms on the arm chair were oily. Not a good experience. When I got the new room, there were no towels or face cloths. I had to go to the office where they gave me a supply.

I was VERY dissatisfied with the cleanliness and upkeep of our room. The only reason I chose to stay was because every other hotel/motel in the area was booked. Otherwise I would have asked for a different room / opted to stay elsewhere. The entire room had a greasy feel, the bed covering had stains and burns on it, the lounge chair looked like a crime scene had taken place in it and the floors were horrid. I never removed my shoes and did not even feel the bathroom was clean enough to bathe in. What a dump! Expedia failed me this time. I really should be pursuing a refund.

We stayed 2 weekend nights. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in took 30 minutes..there was a line of people waiting to check-in at 3pm and only 1 staff member. FYI..early check in was not an option, and there was a local concert venue that was opening their gates at 3:30! So, I feel they should have been more prepared for check-ins. The pool was very nice and clean. Breakfast...ummm..that was extremely disappointing. The hotel was Sold Out Friday night, no breakfast attendant..so everything was gone by 8am!!! Hours were listed 6-9! Overall, we would stay here again.. very nice for location and price!

Non-smoking property had clearly been smoked in. Mattresses were quite old and caved in. Linens were quite old. Lamps needed bulbs changed.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. our stay was absolutely horrible. We are a young couple and chose this hotel to stay at for an evening out at a nearby concert. The bed and chair had stains on it, the shower leaked all night and the AC unit sounded absolutely horrible. It was very loud and made a shaking noise all night, preventing any rest. The check in process with a male who was not friendly at all was a disaster. He became upset when we did not want a smoking room due to me having asthma. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone at all. People fighting in the 7-11 parking lot near my car just topped it off. We will not be back.

Terrible! It was after 3 and they weren’t letting people check in. The room was not clean. Smelled terrible. Hair in the bathroom, shower so gross none of us used it, comforter stained with cigarette burns. I asked housekeeping for a trash bag and they said, “no, we don’t have any.” Roaches crawling on the floor of the bathroom. When we left there was a guy nodding out on the stairwell. This place is disgusting.

Informed the property manager that bugs was seen…the response we received “we never had this issue before “.

There were crowds of people milling around, cars stopping… looked like some prostitution and drug deals. Never had this issue before, won’t stay here again. Non smoking Room reeked of cigarettes…

Tried checking into my room they claimed it hadn’t been cleaned yet. They claimed it needed another 30 minutes. I went sat in my vehicle right by the room waited for the 30 minutes went back to get key and they claimed it still was t ready and needed another 30. They took my number and said they would call me. I then waited the 30 minutes and never received a call or anything. Went in to ask if it was ready because nobody came to clean the room at all and I looked in the window and the room was clean. I wasted my time waiting for them to tell me When it was done and waited for a phone call that never came but claimed they called several times. I was then late to the show because of waiting was very disappointed

Couldnt check in on time due to rooms not being ready, burns in comforters, stains on chair, bthroom so nasty i decided to shower in my 92 degree house with no AC than to get in that shower amd last but not least roaches crawling on the walls. I will never go back here
