Princess Motel Maryville

When we checked into our room, it was just a dump! The tub was dirty, there was hair on the toilet seat, the walls were filthy, and when my wife pulled the sheets back, the mattress was all stained and nasty! We got our money back and stood in the parking lot and spent a half an hour finding other hotels in the area that were clean that we ended up staying at. Would never ever recommend this place ! We got our money back for what we paid for the room.

Bar of soap hardly large enough for 1 person. Paper thin walls, next room had their TV on all night! Brightly lit parking lot lights blaring in room!

Awful. Dirty. Outdated. No hand soap. Window being help closed w duct tape. Moldy shower curtain. Ancient ice machine, the kind Kevin could stick his tired digs in.

The room was dirty, had chipping and falling paint. The air conditioner wasn’t able to keep up with moderate temperatures. Definitely do not recommend!

Worst place that I have ever stayed. Stains on the walls. Bathtub was too dirty to use. Toilet ran all night. Vent in bathroom was disgusting. No cups. Bed was uncomfortable. The AC did work, though.

Very dirty. Needs to have walls washed. All the linen was badly stained. Had to wash out fridge and microwave. All the tables were dirty and sticky. Screens on windows were ripped or missing. No locks on windows. Tub was dirty. Basically had to clean room and purchase a bath mat to use the shower. Brought our own towels and bedding. Would have left but was unable to find something else.

The room had all the necessities. A microwave and refrigerator aswell. Although the condition of the rooms seems to be deteriated with visibly damaged walls and overpainted doors. Sink and the room sidedoor had issues such as a nearly unfunctional lock and an every-so-often clogging sink.

Room was old and dirty. Cobwebs by upper light fixtures. Had ants. A/C smelled a little when it ran. Walls paper thin, single hollow core door to next room, sounded like they were in same room. I was disgusted and left 2 hours after checking in

It was okay except the Roaches in the bathroom

Was so gross stayed less than 30 mins.. the pot smell coming from the room next door was horrible. The bathroom window had old dry caulk on it, not sealed. We asked for our money back owner refused.

The place should be condemned it’s terrible. The place is run down and dirty I would not have stayed there if I could have got a refund. They are in bad need of an exterminators service as there was roaches. I trued to sleep there 1 night and got out of there as fast as possible. The only reason I stayed there was they were pet friendly and I had a small dog and it was super close to the event I was attending. I give zero stars.

The room appeared clean but the bathroom was crawling with roaches. There was a hole in the wall where it appeared like a door knob went through it and someone attempted to fix it. The bedspread had holes in it and the sheets had a stain. The only good thing was I checked very thoroughly for bedbugs but didn’t see any. The door to our room didn’t lock either. The room had a bad odor. The front desk person was friendly.

The bathroom has black mold and cockroaches , open electrical boxes with no covers, no toilet paper holder, you could here the people in the next room talking in normal voices

DO NOT pick this place!!! It is very old and very nasty it’s rundown, it’s terrible, the worst I’ve ever stayed in and the cleaning lady had to change our sheet when we checked in because they had stains on them and then brought back more with stain, she said she couldn’t help it they all have stains and all of the towels had stains and they had just come from the laundry.

Needs a new clean tub and the walls are filthy dirty. Clean the outside cement dirty walk ways. Overall its a dirty mess

The room looked like it was under construction... Walls showed recent patching, not painted. Curtains were falling off the rod and did not close well. T.v. did not work and remote had no batteries. Freezer in fridge was frosted over. No ice available due broken ice machine. 3 pillows for 2 guests. And the window a.c. stopped working after a couple of hours... Bathoom had flooring comming up and I had to wear shoes because the wood flooring in the room was warped and curling... This has been the worst place I have ever stayed....

It smelled like mildew badly n it would be better if they would paint n change the smelly stained curtains and sheets n blankets had brn holes in them n it costed 86 dollars n wasn't worth it no microwave or coffee n not many channels on tv

If they kept the rooms cleaner it would be fine for an overnight stay. Staff is friendly, location is good, but I had to clean every usable surface upon arrival. Unacceptable.

The entire motel was outdated and unclean. There where patched holes on the walls, bathtub had flexseal tape around the tile, the bathroom window was duct taped to cover a crack, the toilet seat was too small for the toilet, and we found bedbugs. Trash on the side walk going to the room. Room was non smoking, but smelled like pot. Complete nasty.

Old hotel needs a lot of work

Price reflected the property. Taking that into consideration, I have no complaints. The AC worked, fridge and microwave worked, hot running water, and the bed appeared clean with no lingering smells, the basics, the necessities. What more can you ask for when you just need a place to lay your head.

Booked us in somone elses room. Opened door to them in room. Got different room. Diirty beside fridge, chips laying in there. Air cond worked half the time.had to tv remotes, neither worked. Got new one but could not get to work at first. Limited channels. Would not recommend.

Risky sleep here. There's shouting outside the door infrequently. The door didn't have a proper magnetic key.

We left. We cannot stay in this dump. Found a Holiday Inn a few miles away. It is NOTHING like the photos advertised.

This place is filthy and we had bed bugs in our room. I went to the front desk and showed them the insect and the guy said not my problem. We had the sheets changed when we arrived, because of pee and other stains on the bed and sheets. I went to Walmart to buy bug spray. We left the next day after a partial refund. -10 and this place needs be shut down. Stay away if you value your health. The wall near the TV looks like bullets holes patched over. The pictures are not what they seem on Expedia... they lie.

Nasty hotel, did jot stay

This was disgusting black stained towels pop spewed all over walls dingy yellow pillow cases cold garbage from last guest still there electric outlets hanging out of the walls

Place was extremely run-down, some guests asked for rides & money, abusive screaming at others & creepy & invasive.

Nothing was pleasant. We went into what would assumingly be a clean unit and upon entrance i checked the bathroom. The tub filled with hair and dirt, hair all over the toilet and sink. We checked the bed, covered in stains und hair as if the bed was just put back together with the same sheets after someone else, the place was in need of repairs as well. The receptionist had to call her daughter and put her on speaker just to communicate on business with us for a room. Overall it is a health hazard and should be inspected. No telling what was in those sheets or all over the bathroom. We left immediately.

This place is absolutely disgusting and I will tell all people to stay away from this establishment. The doors, floors, bedspread, towels, pillows, and bathroom are all terrible. There are exposed wires and broken electrical sockets, paint missing off the walls, various stains on the sheets, towels, sink, and shower. The only reason I stayed for 6 hours is because I needed to sleep at 3:00am after a long day at work. Do not recommend to anyone.

Do yourself a favor, send a representative over there, and inspect this place. We were in room 102.... BAD BAD BAD ! and they charged me $87 I stayed the next night in Chattanooga in an EconoLodge, TEN TIMES BETTER for $57

Rooms reek of cigarette smoke. The bedding had stains towels was digngy and stain. The tub was stained black streaks and it was falling apart. The bathroom window was cracked and broken. Mini fridge is extremely dirty. Only bright spot was the TV. I will go ahead pay double next time then stay there again.

It did the job but very dirty. Linens/towels dirty to the point where we didn’t feel comfortable showering there. Bugs in the bathroom. Not recommended unless you’re low on money

Terrible room conditions and bugs

If our flights weren’t delayed we would have found something else but we were exhausted and just wanted a bed. If I was able to post pictures I would. Who knows what is on the walls… the housekeeper isn’t friendly either. We asked for a late check out and she came knocking saying we need to get out.

Ants and roaches, no shower curtains, towels, tv don't work and room smells. Wouldn't let my dog stay there.

Not a clean place at all. All it needs is a little TLC. Yes I understand it’s an old place but a coat of paint would do it wonders. Frustrating thing is cost is as high as any other motel

The room was almost clean, the blinds did not close completely, the room frig. would have a loud bang when it cycled off, the AC was very noisy. Right outside our door was an assortment of junk. When I checked out, no one was in the office, and I waited for 10 min. ringing the bell for service. Would not recommend.

There were cigarette burns on the bed spread. The room smelled awful. The clerk had a flat effect, which i understand having to work this place. TV with no remote. Our fought, should have checked reviews. Come of a hooker motel.

It is a run-of-the-mill motel. They are currently working on updating it so it will be interesting to see it after. Unfortunately we were unable to get a handicapped unit but we made it work. The beds are comfortable however I needed another blanket but that's just me. It's a bit off the beaten path but is close to shopping.

Terrible experience. The building was not the one on the picture we saw when we made the reservation. The place was in a bad condition. The room was filthy, the drawers were so dirty and stinky, and had dead cockroaches everywhere. The sink was clogged, and there was a leak on the ceiling with a big black stain and a hole. Definitely never staying there again. But if you do, bring your disinfectant wipes and lysol with you, so you won’t have to find a store to buy them -like we did.

The bed was really old, 1 towel had a rusty stain, the bath tub was moldy, outlet coming out of wall, super bright lights so the my room was lit up even with curtains drawn . I slept only a couple of hours and left at 3am, Staff. was nice, overall I won't come back

I didn't stay. The first room didn't lock. Had a screw in the door. Guess that was the lock. Looked at second room. Draw face literally ripped of night stand. Outlet hanging out of wall. Smelled. Mold in refrigerator unit. It locked. Asked for money back. Fellow said what money. Proceeded to call police and health department. He gave my money back according to receipt I have. Hasn't posted yet. I left. You should pull there business off your site. Every one should. I'll be checking on refund and pursuing if I was not. Yes I have pictures.

For three people sharing a room. There was no door on the bathroom. Other than that it was decent

Staff was courteous and helpful. The room itself was cheap, like you pay for. The toilet handle was broke, no deadbolt, only the electronic lock to get in. The door looked to have holes patched over and a screw was hanging out as if it ad been used to screw the door closed into the frame. Definite smell of smoke.

The hotel itself is okay. The area of town it's in not so okay. It was a little difficult for me to get to the restroom because the room was not handicap accessible. I do not believe they had a handicap accessible room available as it was a last minute booking.

Very pleasant experience

No breakfast included. This space isn't large enough to describe what a sh**-hole this Princess Motel is. The fee was cheap and certainly the Princess Motel is cheap, you get what you pay for. Spend a few more dollars and find a decent motel. The Princess Motel is the bottom of the barrel.

Dirty and smelly, needs complete overhaul

they got roaches they was crawling on the bed while we was sleeping and on our food and it wasnt clean nasty nasty roaches on the cellimg and walls it was unsafe for me to sleep i will not go back there ever again

The Staff was very pleasant but the room smelled overwhelmingly of smoke. We switched to a better room but it was also smokey (not as bad as the first). The door was broken so that it was very difficult to open. When I checked out at 8am, there was no staff at the desk and no coffee or breakfast as advertised. The location is good.

The room had not been cleaned. The bathroom had glitter all over it. The bathtub was black where it had not been cleaned. The towels had dirt on them that would shake off. The floors where so dirty that walking from the bathroom to the bed my feet were black. The box springs and mattress looked as if they had been brought in from the dump. One had a blood stain on it bigger than a dinner plate. There was a hole in the bathroom wall with electrical wires hanging out of it. The door had foot prints on it on the inside of the room. We had to ask for clean towels and for the towels for our third guest that we paid for. It seamed that the office staff did not know what they were doing. We came back to our room and both of the keycards would not work. We asked for clean towels and they were not brought to the room, we had to go to the office to get them. I have pictures of all this stuff on my phone. I would be glad to send them to you. This place was by fare the worst place I have ever stayed at.

Dirty smelly and if we weren't intoxicated we would not have stayed. Outlets didn’t work flats plopped noisy and no one at window.

Where do I begin with this property? The roach's, the literal garbage picked furniture, or the dirty towels? Coming form a hotel background I tend not to judge a motel on the same level but as a human being there are some things that should just not be. Didn't meet the staff so I wont judge them but I will say their 2 teslas sitting out front did indicate to me where their priority's lay and it's not in their product. If they would of just taken a small part of the money they spent on those cars and spent it on the roach problem i could of overlooked the broken furniture and pissed on walls. But in all seriousness do they not know that bleach exist? Its a staple in all hotels to keeping the towels white and also for cleaning. And dont get me started on the cleaning lady that pissed herself while cleaning. How does this even happen when there are bathrooms in EACH ROOM your cleaning? The city of Maryville should be ashamed that this motel is even doing business in their beautiful town. PLEASE don't give these people your money. Stay ANYWHERE else! Complete and udder trash for the rates they ask for. And please note I only stayed here because it was an emergency and close to where I needed to be. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

No towels in the room, lobby smelled like curry, waited 10 minutes to check out (no one showed up), electrical outlets in room had been painted over. But the bed was clean, fridge and TV worked, and the shower was ok. Property does need some refurbishment, but the price was great!

The room was dirty almost no hot water. They refused to give us another pillow and towel. The bed sheets and towels were ripped and dirty. I definitely would not book again and will not recommend.

This is not a business I would send anyone to. It is falling apart, broken doors, blood on bathroom walls, horrible. No one should go there

After driving 8 hours, I arrived at the motel to find out my room had been given away, after they supposedly ran my credit card and it was declined. No one made any attempt to contact me. My card was working fine, so most likely they keyed in my CVV code incorrectly. Had to find emergency accommodations for the next 2 nights, at double the price of what I was expecting to pay.

They gave our room away even though we had a reservation, then covenantly had other hotels in the area that they owned with rooms available at a much higher rate. Scams to get ya for more money!

Stained walls, sheets, towels, and bathtub. Ashes on floor in a nonsmoking room, so they did not vacuum before i checked in. Tv did not work. Mold in fridge. Horrible stay even for $60

Horrible place. Dirty, tiles missing in the shower, no shower curtain, toilet base had calking spread all over, toilet seat cracked and dirty, no one at front desk, had to call. Hooded man showed up, very scary. DO MOT STAY HERE.

The tub was ridiculously nasty and the towel & wash cloth were filthy. It was totally obvious they hadn’t even been washed. I wish I could attach the photos I took so you could see just how terrible it was. This is the nastiest place I have ever seen.

Roach infested, mice droppings on bed, smoke burns everywhere, sheets were blood stained, body hair all over the bathroom. This place was gross. Never again.
