Reviews
The hotel is under renovation and is not open to the public, causing significant inconvenience to guests who booked through online platforms like Expedia and Travelocity. The property is in a state of disrepair, with construction debris, non-functional amenities, and unclean conditions being common complaints.
- Friendly staff
- Comfortable room when available
- Hotel under renovation and not open to public
- Unclean and unsafe conditions

Good breakfast. Good variety, including Biscuits and gravy, bacon, cereal, bagels, etc.

Cons: elevator can be a little slow. Parking gate is confusing. People dont know they have to go around the back to exit the parking lot. You also have to use the code to get out. I turned that in when we checked out and had to call the front desk to get out. But they answered right away when we called and gave us the code to get out.

Lackluster breakfast. Overperfumed hallways. The shower amenities in my room were empty. Awkward use of space for a hotel room, with many unlit areas and a dysfunctional bathroom arrangement. Will look elsewhere next time.

Location and cleanliness of the hotel. A great selection of breakfast every morning. Front desk staff was welcoming. Very quiet and peaceful. Very secure. Gated parking and the ambiance was beautiful A few of the house keepers were very rude. During my check out time I paid $30 for a late check out. I was not due to leave until 1pm. The housekeeping lady came into my room without knocking as we were getting up and told me it's checkout time. I explained to her that I had a 1pm late check out time. She left...came back at 11:30 and said we needed to leave. I call to front desk they let her know I had a late checkout. She comes back at about 12:10 and said we needed to get out. Which prompted me to go downstairs personally talk to front desk about her attitude, disrespectful manner and tone. Front desk apologized offered me a Gatorade from the cooler and let me know that she will be speaking with management about the housekeeper behavior.

The problem is the staff. I am a senior citizen and that did not affect their attitude. They implied that I was hiding someone else to join me in my room since I was registered as a single but had a king size bed. They also impressed upon me that there were to be no guests overwhelming the facility, apparently believing that I had lied. I'm not sure about the level of customers for Saturdays but judging from the almost vacant parking lot on Saturday morning, this place is not supporting itself. From the staff treatment given at the front desk, I can see why.

This hotel is not what it advertised. I books weeks out a 2 Queen bedroom. I got there and they only had 1 king rooms. The staff was not helpful at all. Then after they told me I did not get the room I Booked, they said the elevator was not working. Trash bags in the hallway. THE BREAKFAST is NASTY!!! The sausage does not even look like sausage!!!! Do Not Book this hotel.

Great check-in process. The staff was friendly and professional detailing the amenities at the hotel. They are pet friendly. The fee is about $30 after taxes. You have to sign a bunch of paperwork upon check-in. They have a gated parking lot which was nice. Especially having a pet to have to take on potty breaks. The parking lot and pet relief areas were well lit. Their breakfast was fantastic though. They offered pancakes, waffles, instant oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, bicuits and gravy, yogurt and some other pastry type items. There is an indoor pool and I even saw ping pong although I did not travel down to look in that room. The fitness center was small but nice and looked clean. The room was decent. The set-up was a bit weird. The sink was out in the front of the room as you walk in, and then the bathroom (toilet and shower) were a boxed room in the center of the room. The door to the bathroom was on the side of the bedroom and you had to keep the door shut if you wanted to watch television. You had to walk around the bathroom wall and across the room to wash your hands and use the sink. It was extremely odd. You would think at least that the door would be on the opposite side and lead out to the separate sink. The hotel was busy and the volume of people was loud. People leaving and slamming doors all night long kept me up and had my dog on high alert all night. It was not the best night of sleep.

First off the desk attendant didn't speak very good English. The room wasn't as clean as it should be. Although we travel with a service dog, she doesn't bark. There was a dog down the hall that barked for over an hour. Nothing was done about it, we cant be the only people that heard it. The breakfast was not good at all. My wife wanted a waffle but there was a person there making a stack. Literally had 5 on the plate and still cooking. The kitchen attendant also didn't speak English. I asked for a refill on my thermos and she pointed to the pump dispensers. We went to check out, nobody at the desk. There were no instructions on how to get out of the gated parking lot. Maybe some arrows or instructions when you check in? It'll be our last stay with this company.

There were trash cans from rooms in the hallway. They were full when we arrived and full when we left. Not sure if the guests left them out hoping they would be picked up but it just looked a little trashy.
- 4/5
I liked the secure parking for our U-Haul to be protected while we slept.
- 3/5
Breakfast was okay - decent selection but mostly carb items.

Gated parking.

Old with an unusual smell. Room doesn’t have a chair for the desk . The bed is on some springs and everything you get on the bed it squeaks.

We always stay at this La Quinta when we need a place to crash in Memphis. The hotel is well-maintained, and we love their gated/secure parking. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, too. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
- 5/5
Everything was good.

Cold pool. Like so cold, we couldn't stay more than a few minutes. When we asked, we were told this pool was heated. We travel with our children, and this was not a great experience. Breakfast was lacking options. Never again.

Everything was great!

Clean, spacious rooms, breakfast and secure parking. I have stayed here a couple times and always enjoy myself
- 1/5
When I tried to check-in for my room on the app, it would not let me, so I called to see if I can check-in when I get there. The reception told me that they cancel my reservation due to water pipe bust. But no one call me or send an email to me about the issue. They did not have any other rooms available there is nothing they can do for me. My family and I drove 8 hours and come now I had to find a different hotel, which was going to cost me more and hard to find one that same day. I am very disappointed about the lack of communication, which could have save me alot of time and effort if they would have communicated.
- 4/5
Elevator and hallways were clean but not updated. Our conversations with the staff were great, knowledgeable about the area, very helpful. Had to skip breakfast to catch a plane, but the area looked very nice and the food looked fine.
- 2/5
I did not enjoy my stay. I left a day before check out. The area was sketchy but the parking lot is gated, so fine. Trouble started before I arrived when a front desk clerk called me the morning of stating the specific room I paid for was not available, and they were changing my room. She could not provide a reason as to why, but only kept repeating "is it was okay?" I told her it doesn't seem like you are giving me the choice if it is unavailable. She hung up, I immediately called back attempting to get understanding of the reasoning it was being changed. The phone just rang, no answer. Upon arrival, immediately at check in, a clerk informed me the handicap accessible room I reserved was changed because "they have to save them for real handicap individuals." I then asked him how does he know one of the individuals I am traveling with is not handicap. He stated "because I didn't state it in the special comments section of the booking." Never have I ever had to make a special comment to mention that my wife is "really handicap" while booking an accessible room. I asked him to show me where it should have been indicated. He searched the paper work and never found it. I then told the clerk I do have a handicap individual with me, and he was welcomed to come out and check my plates/placard hanging. After going back and forth a while I told him to just put us in a room, I was tired of the debate. During the stay the pool was shivering cold. We also were denied towels. Smh.

Nice room, comfortable bed, great staff. Appreciate the gated parking. Decent breakfast.

Everything was good until my daughter spotted ants on the baseboards by the beds . talked to staff about a new room wouldn't give me one . had to deal with killing ants my entire trip , could barley sleep because of them ! when i tried to ask / talk to them when it was time to checkout staff was completely rude & was not trying to help or accommodate me !

. staff is terrible & overcharge you for everything & don’t communicate properly .. attitudes are terrible as well
- 4/5
I loved the size of my room. Full sized refrigerator and space. Breakfast was decent sized as well.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Had issues with room key and gate code not working on second night, it was resolved quickly. Got woken up on last morning there to a man and a woman fighting in the hallway. Pool was nice.
- 5/5
It was great. Clean room. Accommodating staff.
- 5/5
I love the fact that they have gated parking. This isn't the best neighborhood in the world. And the staff is actually really, really nice. And the hotel is clean
- 4/5
Overall good;staff could've been more available and acted as if bothered at times
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was moderate with plenty of options. The only problem we encountered was the limited number of towels they would allow and when we asked for extra pillows and blankets for the pull-out couch we were only given two small blankets. We were told that they could not give us anymore pillows.
- 5/5
Everything is great about this property.
- 5/5
Would start again.
- 1/5
I checked out earlier and now they will not give me money deposit back nor my money for checking out early and expedia was no help at all
- 5/5
The hotel was 10 stars! Staff was very friendly and patient! The deluxe room was beyond my expectations and breakfast was very good! Unlimited coffee 24 seven, and most importantly they had gated free parking.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice!
- 5/5
Clean room and easy check in
- 2/5
The staff was amazing and friendly. Saturday breakfast was amazing also. The lobby is nice especially if you would like to hang out and relax outside of your room. The property seems to be in process of slowly updating. Our room set up in the oversized king was unusual with the sink area by the entry door and the shower/toilet separate. The room was on the 2 floor and not level. Ok for a no frills, short stay if you don't mind the area.
- 1/5
Hotel gave my original room away and I had to take a lower rate room but never got compensated it. Then I decided to check out one day early and they would give me a refund for the day I didn't use. I do not recommend this hotel.
- 2/5
Clean room - staff needs to be more attentive to what is being requested of them.
- 2/5
Furthermore, I requested NOT to be near dogs and had to DEAL WITH BARKING ALL NIGHT LONG FROM ACROSS MY ROOM IN 108 FINALLY, DO NOT GET ROOM 108 - you WILL HEAR THE KITCHEN STAFF BANGING DISHES AND CABINETS WHILE THEY PREPARE BREAKFAST - ITS VERY LOUD IN THE MORNING! On a good note, the hotel is safe with security gates. You must have a code to get in and out of the property.
- 5/5
Great staff and easy check-in. Nice clean room.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Yes clean. Breakfast could have been better but it was decent.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean & inviting to the eye. Our check in was seamless with hospitable staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The shower amenities were good for your hair but no body soap, someone placed hand soap instead of body soap. Breakfast was okay and offered a reasonable variety. The big drawback was the eggs which were most definitely powdered eggs with no real flavor.
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
great
- 4/5
The room was clean. I had one king bed and the layout of the room was strange in my opinion with the toilet and shower in the bathroom but the hand sink in another part of the room near the entrance.
- 5/5
Everything went well. Just wish they had dedicated to actually cleaning the parking lot of ice and snow. It was very hard to park and walk to and from vehicle.
- 2/5
We didn't plan on being in Memphis 2 nights, but life happens. I requested a room handicap accessible with a bathtub intentionally. We had to go back to the front desk to get this corrected. Then, the room's fire alarm is just dangling from the ceiling by it's wires. My husband let the staff know and that is as far as that went.
- 4/5
Room was clean, gated parking, safe feel and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. The heat and air was horrible. It was either very cold or very hot but would not maintain a consistent temperature. Therefore we did not get much sleep. The breakfast was below average with minimal selection, but fairly typical for hotel breakfast in recent years. We stayed a few days after the winter storm and the parking lot and areas surrounding the property had not been cleared or salted. It would have been nice if they had made it safe for travelers to go to and From their vehicles with luggage etc.
- 5/5
Loved every minute / staff were amazing
- 5/5
Everything was close to perfect
- 5/5
This place is a nice establishment and it’s clean. The quality of the rooms is great and comfortable. I only did not like the sink not being in the bathroom , but I still give this place a 10 out of 10. It was the guy there when I checked in on the night of January 22 who exude and gave great customer service
- 5/5
the room was clean, the staff was great and the breakfast was good. And the parking with the gate made me feel safe will defiantly stay there again
- 1/5
Horrible
- 3/5
The hotel was really nice, however there was no one to assist as the TV was not working in the hotel to connect to my streaming services or even for local channels. My son has autism and likes the tv. It was very stressful as there wasn't even a manual or a manager to help. Plus the phone in the room did not work? My keycard kept having to be rest each day, which made us have to stand outside at night and get the desk clerk to let us in off the parking lot? Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and friendly. Parking was secure.
- 1/5
I didn't see anywhere in writing that under 21 couldn't check in. The staff was rude.
- 5/5
Room was great, not the best area but with gated parking and secure doors I never felt unsafe

The room was very clean ant the staff was very courteous.

Room was clean. Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, hot breakfast, clean towels daily. Worth the price to have a nice play to stay.
- 5/5
Way nicer than expected. Staff friendly. Gated lot for parking. Only complaint is elevator is very slow. Just took stairs (only 4 floors).
- 4/5
Good breakfast, nice staff. Clean room, no complaints.
- 5/5
Room excellent great staff
- 3/5
The room says it sleeps 4, but there is no way to sleep 4 on one king bed. Which was misleading. And the breakfast hot food was terrible (gross eggs, some weird corn salad, and a dried up frozen chicken patty is what was served).
- 3/5
Lights in the bedroom very poor. Daily cleaning is not so good.

Great place, safe, the staff was excellent. Font order the wings.....pizza was good.
- 3/5
Room was okay; the bathroom had no mats, the carpet seemed to be a little old and untidy, and I started having rashes under my feet ever since I walked on that carpet barefoot.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the waffle maker was icing on the cake!
- 5/5
The place was clean and quiet! That’s all we needed!

Janky services do not book a room with this motel
- 5/5
This was the nicest La Quinta hotel I have ever stayed at, and is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at at this price level. The lobby is very nice and bright. The staff is super friendly and cordial. The included hot breakfast is outstanding with lots of choices of food and beverages; and the eating area is spacious with a modern decor with comfortable chairs and tables. My room/suite had hardwood floors and was very clean and my king-size bed was very comfortable. The parking lot is gated and requires a code you punch in to enter on one end of the parking lot and the same code to exit on the other end of the parking lot. So it is very safe and clean. They even have dog poop bags in the parking lot so it is dog-friendly. I will stay here again.
- 5/5
Great staff. Room was nice & clean.

Clean room and friendly staff

Everything was great.
- 1/5
When I first went into my room after check in the room phone and one of the tvs didn’t work. I told the front desk and the manager. I was told no one was on duty to fix it and wouldn’t be before I checked out. Then a whole seperate family was given keys to my hotel room. They literally opened the door while I was showermilling. The on duty manager couldn’t seem to understand that free snacks from the snack bar was not going to compensate me for the complete lack of safety in their hotel.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast was fresh and really good.
- 5/5
The Room was SPOTLESS!!! FRONT DESK SERVICE WAS AWESOME
- 1/5
We did not stay. But hotel and room had terrible odor. , bugs crawling on walls, not what pictures showed online. We left and got a refund and stayed elsewhere.
- 1/5
There were no pots in the kitchen nor the utensils needed. Staff checked other rooms and there was nothing in any of them. So had no dinner that night. Staff did get pots the next day but management seems unconcerned. Shower leaked all night and flooded the bathroom. Didn't get fixed for a day. Staff is trying but management seems to be absent.
- 4/5
The stay was pleasant. We had to switch rooms initially because it smelled as something expire in the room.
- 3/5
The room was not cleaned despite my request. The sink was leaking and has not been repaired, they only put towels under it.
- 4/5
Staff was pleasant. The location was a little sketchy but the room was excellent. Very clean, comfortable bedding and soft towels.
- 5/5
Breakfast was ok, scrambled eggs and potatoes not the greatest, everything else acceptable. Parking lot was secure and well lit for after dark arrivals, security into the building was good.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and the staff at the front desk were professional and friendly. The parking was in a secure fenced in area which was great. I would stay again though the area was a little dodgy
- 5/5
Breakfast was really good, staff was professional and friendly. I will go back!
- 1/5
Had to wait several minutes for anyone to show up to check me in, eventually somene emerged who also seemed to be bany sitting while working the front desk. The kid kept taking off and she would have to stop checking me in to chase him down. Took about 30 mins to get checked in.. hotel had loud guests you could smell smoking marijuana all night. The next morning for breakfast, we went down and was given the cold shoulder by the person running it when we tried to say good morning so we grabbed a few things and went back to the room. Upon opening my milk up stairs and taking a drink i quickly discovered it was spoiled. I immediately dumped it out and called the front desk to let them know and was treated like i was trying to make things up. Now i sit here on my vacation sick to my stomach because they dont keep their food at a safe temperature. Pretty sure my vacation is ruined. Spoiled milk has upset my stomach so bad i cant do anything but stay in the bathroom. I will be contacting the health department and would like to talk to the company. I do habe a video of the nasty spoiled food.

Room was large and comfortable. Staff was friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was great with a wide selection of items. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, toast and bagels, cereal and yogurt and cookies. The parking lot was secure with a coded gate which I liked. The freeway was close for easy on/off access. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Memphis

For the most part, I really enjoyed my stay. The room was spotless, the location was perfect for my plans, and I appreciated having access to the fitness room. The continental breakfast was a nice touch, and the staff were all fantastic. Overall, I’m giving this spot the highest rating and will definitely be staying here again in the future.
- 5/5
Our room was very comfortable and was huge. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Easy access to the airport
- 5/5
Loved my stay here. I was here for a work trip and found it comfortable, clean, and I absolutely loved the free cappuccinos from the machine in the lobby.
- 5/5
Clean hotel class to airport
- 3/5
Property/room was up to date but lacked a place to hang clothes which my wife and I thought was weird. First time ever being in a hotel room with no where to hang your garments. Front desk said all rooms were like that. Also staff seemed to all be Indian (from India). Had a very hard time understanding them.
- 1/5
The outlet in the bathroom did not work, there were hairs on the bathtub. The coffe pot was a 5 cup and the coffee provided was for one cup and then the coffee pot didn’t work. You heard all the noises from outside and in the hallway. There were scorch marks going up the walk where one of the outlets caught fire. The bed was hard and so were the two little pillows provided.
- 5/5
The hotel and room was clean and well maintained.
- 5/5
The staff was awesome and accommodated our last minute request!
- 5/5
I can in town for a wedding. The check in process was a breeze. Hot breakfast bar, including pancakes, waffles, eggs, meat, potatoes along with cold & hot cereals, pastries, fruit & several bread choices. The fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were a treat too. Room clean & comfort. Excellent gated parking area.
- 4/5
Good stay. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good.
- 3/5
Very clean and safe. The extra mile i had to go to to allow my wife to check in instead of me was a little much.
- 5/5
Was ready nice, CLEAN. Little goofy setup as fair as bathroom, setup BUT great staff and breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Hot breakfast. Juice and milk options along with coffee and tea. Nicer hotel ive seen of this chain.
- 5/5
This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the proprietors were amazing. They were very accommodating and make you feel very welcome!
- 5/5
Attentive staff

Pool area had ants, area was okay.
- 4/5
I love staying at this hotel. The parking lot is behind a gate. I travel alone, it helps with my peace of mind. The staff have been friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
It was not well kept and in a "shady" area.

Was not what we expected

The bed wasn't for me. And it's one of those places that has clean and decent furniture, but it's an updated facility-I don't usually care for those type of places. I didn't like the layout of the room. either The vanity was not in the same room as the shower. Reminded me of like a Days Inn kind of place. The staff was excellent and if you stay at this location and aren't familiar with Memphis, you could find yourself at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'd suggest having your food delivered if you're unfamiliar with the area. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is very clean and you're safe there. The parking lot is a gated entrance, but the simple truth is; for the price you could get a hotel in a better area that's not an updated facility. I'm nit-picking, but the little hotel convenience store charges too much. I didn't try it, but they do have a inhouse cook/menu. I just recall chicken wings on it. Personally I won't stay there again, but only because I can find better at that price. However, vicinity of the airport isn't important to me nor is the proximity of the office builds in that little area. I assume that's why the place is still in business, people from out of town flying to one of the businesses operating out of the nearby office buildings. I tried to be straight and honest with this review, I hope it helps.
- 4/5
It was a great secure spot.
- 5/5
I've booked this hotel several times for my employees to stay in when they are working multiple days in Memphis. I like that the parking is secure and that the room is large enough and has a sleeper sofa so that three people can stay comfortably.
- 5/5
Good Security--cars are protected by a fence and code. Front desk was very friendly.
- 5/5
This Motel is amazing.Very clean and safe.
- 3/5
The location is in close proximity to airport. I felt safe with the gated area for cars. The breakfast was average with no issues. The room was clean and spacious with microwave and refrigerator. The interior is dated in that it’s dark and older. It was a very quiet location and easy to maneuver to downtown Memphis and the airport. Overall a good stay, it’s comparable to 3 star hotels.
- 5/5
I am little bit anxious about this hotel because this is my first experience so found everything is well and good
- 5/5
I added an extra night through the app and the staff made it seamless for the transition to the new documents/key card. The hotel was clean and well kept. The location was quiet and away from main streets. The breakfast and coffee choices were ample. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

There were some room issues (sink faucet was loose and shower didn't drain well) but the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. WiFi signal was strong. Breakfast was good and Chetan, who was still on duty, was very accommodating. I hope management is aware of this good employee.

Breakfast was amazing.

They charged my card twice for the stay which ONLY happened because hours before i was to check in someone called me and said in order to keep my reservation I had to pay before check in…. So I paid… then when I got there they said we are charging you a deposit but ended up charging me the deposit AND the room fee again!!!! The bathroom was dirty hair and dirty towels

Breakfast was fantastic with biscuit/gravy. The bed was great. Very spacious room. The area was sketchy and hotel was at dead end rd right next to I-240.
- 5/5
Very nice, clean, nice staff!!
- 5/5
Gated parking excellent, staff friendly, room clean and very spacious
- 5/5
Man they hooked me up!! Fast and easy!! Everuthing was new!! Fresh baked cookies brought to me at breakfasts
- 5/5
The room was great, loved it. The only thing my wife and I found was the floor was a little dirty. They need to mop it better. Other wise it was great staying there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice hotel. Staff was wonderful. Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Pool was a plus. Breakfast was great.

Very nice place!
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff was very nice.

The staff was excellent. I will start there. Very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The location is different. I did feel safe. The parking was gated. The hotel is right off the highway. Hotel is on the "okay" side but 5 min down the road - it's rough. If you're going to get gas, keep driving and find a location that is safe to do this. Then my son was using our bathroom and there was a huge roach hanging on his bath towel. Roach on steroids. Maybe a water roach. It was huge. I showed the staff and they went up to clean the bathroom while we were out. Roaches gross me out. Other than this - the stay was good. I would probably come back to this location however, look at other options as well.
- 5/5
This is in a convenient part of town and they have a lot of security. Easy access to most of Memphis and I would stay again
- 3/5
Elevator is old and not very clean Hotel had a beautiful and clean gym and parking is gated a nice variety for breakfa! Only thing was we were in second floor and second night there someone must have been going in and out ALL night long and would slam the door when taking stairs it was so loud woke us up everytime could not sleep I think they were going down to smoke all night it was awful
- 5/5
Stayed here passing thru from St. Louis Mo. Hotel itself was great. Area is sketchy. Loved the gated parking lot. Room was clean. Bathroom door didn’t shut properly but it was a one night stay so no big deal. Bed was fine. Breakfast was great! Many options and clean / yummy food. Would stay again if it wasn’t in that area.
- 4/5
The only thing bad was the bed was hard as a rock. Both of us woke up hurting all over and tired. Air worked well, breakfast was good. Staff was nice. The person working the breakfast area was cooking croissants and cookies which he walked around and offered to all. He was going above and beyond!

We booked and paid for a deluxe king bed with kitchen. Upon arrival, a gentleman at the front desk told me they were out of King bed and offered 2 double beds instead. When I refused to accept it, he said he can cancel my reservation
- 5/5
Friendly staff, excellent customer service in the lobby and during the breakfast time.
- 5/5
Close to the meeting that I had
- 5/5
What a pleasant surprise! I appreciated a pet friendly hotel that was also higher quality, clean, and safe! The extra security in the parking lot was really nice too. I appreciated the luggage racks to help move the bags from the car.
- 5/5
Breakfast was very good. The hospitality was very welcoming.
- 5/5
Great people taking care of stuff at the check-in and great breakfast buffet.
- 4/5
Helpful staff and a great breakfast.
- 3/5
Ok room. Friendly people. Room was clean, only one elevator for the whole hotel, so it took a while and it stunk! Then, bought a small bag of gummy bears and a small bag of pretzels and it was $14!! Area is sketchy, but where in Memphis is not?!
- 4/5
Could not get WiFi to work ... password good but never connected. Had to use a foot towel in shower to keep from slipping. No hand rails. ** Noticed most LaQuintas this way on my trip. Curtain in room needs to be larger. Unable to shut out parking lot lighting. Overall though an excellent facility.

Awesome place very clean
- 5/5
The only negative was the lack of an adequate number of towel bars. Women have wet towels from washing their hair, etc. In a room with 2 beds, it’s obvious more than one person (could have easily accommodated 5) was occupying the room. MORE ways to hang towels needed so they can dry and be used again. I do not like to ask for new towels after only one use. Help the customer be more eco friendly.

It was fine

Well located , convenient, and clean.

The property was difgicult to find....it felt like i was on a round about...i kept going around looking for the exit from the hwy...

Great stay!

The room was really nice and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Appreciated that it was gated and secure. The breakfast was OK for a hotel breakfast. Had quite a few options. Would definitely stay again

Love it

Very nice

The breakfast was excellent! I really enjoy the coffee bar!! We will definitely be staying here again!
- 3/5
The hotel was very clean and nice. I had a very leaky faucet in the shower and I reported it to the front desk. Hopefully they fix it today.
- 3/5
My stay was okay. When I first arrived, I did notice the lobby had a bad odor that lingered. The receptionist was helpful with checking in. When I went to my room, I noticed the room also had an odor and smelled like old food. As I inspected the room, I noticed there was food on the floor, and the bathroom tub was dirty. I reported these issues, and I was moved to another room. The 2nd room was an upgrade from the room I originally booked. This room was clean, and I approved. Only issue I did have was that this hotel is pet friendly and my neighbors across the hall had a dog who would bark and jump on the door when I walked past. That made me uncomfortable. The other issue I had was the key to the side door to enter outside to the parking lot was not working. The front desk made me several keys during my stay and the keys would not work no matter what. That was annoying. On the bright side the hotel did have free breakfast every morning. My stay was okay but definitely would've been better without the hotel technical issues.
- 5/5
Super quick to check in, got the key and enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable bed
- 4/5
Lovely hotel, very large room but strange layout not at all user friendly.
- 4/5
The pool was excellent. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room was set up well for a dog. The only reason I didn’t rate it as excellent was because the water in the shower constantly dripped and there was no water pressure. I will stay here again if I travel to Memphis.
- 5/5
Very friendly and ve clean rooms
- 5/5
The staff really tried hard for you, the hotel was clean and the breakfast is a great way to start your morning!
- 5/5
The bed is one of the best hotel beds I’ve ever stayed in and the breakfast was top notch
- 5/5
The Lady at the desk was amazing. I know this a business hotel but it’s not their business who I’m having come visit other than being nosey. It’s amazing and I will be coming back. With my business partner..lol

Really great customer service, comfy beds & pillows, good shower, nice breakfast selection, gated parking

The service from the front reception staff was excellent. They were so friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Everything was nice and clean and comfortable. It was too bad there was noisy people staying there that kept waking us up. The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
One of the best rooms i have ever stayed at.
- 4/5
The neighborhood is rough but property and stay was great.
- 1/5
Front desk employee ask me how many individuals would be staying with me although it states one on the booking. He asked how many visitors would be coming by in a very thick accent. Sound like he said i could not have visitors after a certain time. I replied im leaving 3 am to catch a flight by home. Nice hotel but too many weird questions for me.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and attentive. Wonderful breakfast daily. Safe parking in secure lot behind gate. Rooms was clean and comfortable. Would recommend for a visit to Memphis.
- 3/5
This property appears to be run by a family with very little help. The same people were checking people in, working the kitchen and doing the housekeeping. The bathroom floor was dirty, the window in our room was disgusting, looked like children had rubbed their hands all over the window and it had never been cleaned. God knows when the elevator had last been vacuumed and there were 2 garbage cans for the breakfast area, both of which were overflowing about midway thru breakfast. Did not appear to be in a very safe area as the parking area is gated with an electronic gate.
- 3/5
I expected more from a LaQuint property.
- 5/5
everything
- 5/5
Property very clean and quiet.Felt safe.Suite was excellent and all staff polite and very nice.
- 5/5
The staff were awesome.
- 5/5
Everything about my stay was wonderful for only the problem I ran in is housekeeping didnt speak English So it was hard to request certain items, because they didn't understand what I was saying.
- 4/5
This is a nice family Run Hotel convenient to all locations in Memphis. I want to give a special acknowledgment to the young gentleman with a beard who always looked after us at breakfast. I'm afraid I didn't get his name by this man went out of his way to and always brought us trees of freshly baked cookies.
- 4/5
I had made reservations for this La Quinta based on reviews. Unfortunately, either folks were overly free in their ratings, or I am choosier than most. Cleanliness was average at best. Location was not great, being directly next to a major noisy highway, and surrounding area, like much of Memphia, was covered with litter. Breakfast was fine, not good or great. The room had been remodeled at some point and sink and mirror were the opposite end of the room from the bathroom. Very odd. Two TVs, but the one furthest from the bed had one smallish upholstered chair and a rolling desk chair someone could sit in. Neither were comfortable. Strange layout. One elevator for 4 stories, and it may have been the SLOWEST ELEVATOR in any hotel we have stayed in, especially since it is also used by cleaning personnel. Staff was pleasant. Thankfully, parking is gated, as this area in Memphis can be sketchy.
- 3/5
Could not sleep due to someone having a dog that was barking all night and morning. Complained to the front desk, nothing was done.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay and it was so quiet. The only thing i hate is i left my brand new umbrella and never received a call about leaving it in the room. Which means whomever clean the room should have turned it in so they could reach me but hey i just got to buy a new umbrella i see...
- 5/5
This property was clean quite and safe. The hotel is a little hidden and out of the way but close to freeway. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.
- 3/5
It was pretty good overall minus the check in and staff not relaying correct information about the deposit/incidental fee.
- 5/5
I was traveling alone and I felt safe. Being right off the interstate, it was convenient.
