Nice place. Pretty no frills.

The room was nice & clean, the lighting was dim, giving it the feel of a cottage. We were given the choice of how often we wanted our room cleaned which was a really nice option. There was no road noise in our room even though it’s close to a busy street. There is no iron in the room but it did have a steamer which would work with lightweight items, not dresses or dress shirts that must be pressed to look their best. However, I didn’t ask to see if an iron & ironing board were available, so that might be an option & worth asking about. When housekeeping came it was always while we were out & it was back to perfection by the time we returned. The continental breakfast was pretty standard & had a quaint dining area to eat in, away from the busyness of the from desk. The staff was friendly & helpful. There was a timing issue for our booked stay, on our part, so we had to book two separate stays. The staff made that transition easy. Our flight was delayed over 3 hours, making our arrival after midnight. Again, the staff was friendly & helpful. All in all, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our special trip so easy.

Breakfast was wonderful and all of the amenities were very good. The only thing was that a couple times my key card wouldn’t work so I had to get it replaced a couple times. Still very worth it and I plan on staying here again.

Staying at Menlo Park Inn was a great experience for me and my daughter! We were in town for an appointment at Stanford Children's Hospital, which was a quick 10 minute drives to Menlo Park Inn. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was very clean and the amenities were great. I really appreciated the fridge, microwave, Nespresso maker, and very cozy robes! We also greatly appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the morning. We will definitely stay here again!

Small rooms with poor sound insulation, but very clean and a nice lobby with good breakfast. Kind of reminds me of putting lipstick on a pig, but they did a decent job of the remodel, just a little rough around the edges. Decent location for restaurants, but zero nightlife.

Friendly & very helpful staff. We messaged the Inn requesting a 1st floor room as I use a walker & cane to get around. I checked in & they had assigned the 1st floor accessible room right across from the lobby. Thank you! Not a thing

Free parking and a convenient location. The room had a very strong chemical smell, which made it uncomfortable to stay. The beds were not comfortable, and the sink being located almost inside the room was inconvenient. The room felt more like a basic motel with direct outside access, which was not clearly shown in the photos. The TV quality was poor. Breakfast was very disappointing — no hot or protein options, and the fruit was not fresh. Overall, it did not feel like a 3-star hotel.

The gym was closed. Continental breakfast was good; room cleanness was about average.

Front desk clerk was very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean, with a Nespresso coffeemaker, plenty of oversized towels and everything else I needed. Heater kept going on and off on the cold night, but the temperature was kept where I wanted it. It's a good value for the money, especially in this neighborhood.

Yes, everyone was warm. personable, and helpful during our stay. Starting with Bill at the Front Desk when we arrived, Sophia, Roxanne also at the Desk zand Housekeeping.

I wish that there had been 2 layers of window coverings to provide privacy without blocking out all the light for the room, other than that - had a great stay!

The rooms at the Menlo Park Inn are always spotless and warm during cold weather. It's only a few minutes from Stanford Medical Center and rates are a bargain on Sunday nights when you have an appointment the next day. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to return an item I left behind. The espresso machine in the lobby is a lot more convenient than going to a nearby coffee shop,

The staff was wonderful and friendly, the room was very clean with no problems. The coffee at breakfast was some of the best I have ever had. The breakfast was not the best with just oatmeal and bagels and toast. Eggs and biscuits and gravy would have been nice. Overall it was a nice place to stay if you just needed a place to sleep. We would stay there again.

This turned out to be all-around pleasant experience. Small but well-thought room and furnishings, excellent breakfast with healthy choices, 24-hour access to a great coffee machine in the office that offered customizable options that we loved, and great location.

Bed was comfortable; basic room for shows at the Guild. Shower has great pressure. If you just need a room in MP near the train and good restaurants.

Overall a good stay for one night, but my Kuerig wasn’t working & coffee in reception apparently wasn’t available at 6am. I ended up walking to the local Chevron station. Also, I was given #114 which is not a great room but ok. I’d open the door and see the huge bins of unlaundered sheets. Not great guest presentation.

I feel like this hotel is being slept on! Super convenient location, free parking, spacious rooms, and super nice staff. We did experience noise from upstairs on departure day, but not a big deal.

I was very impressed by the continental breakfast; it’s much more than that! Plus they have a great coffee machine. I usually wear ear plugs to help me sleep, no matter where I’m at, so the noise of El Camino Real was a non-factor. Good location too!

I have stayed here several times. Each time I return there are upgrades. Very pleasant office staff for check in, clean rooms. I would have graded it higher on comfort, but I have inflammatory arthritis in my back and the sleep was rough. Otherwise, great place for the price.

If my daughter hadn't been with me, I maybe would've been a little disappointed that there was no elevator to the second floor, but she carried my bags. I thought I'd be worried about street noise when I saw the room, but once I locked the door and turned on the AC it was totally quiet.

I stayed here for a week, and it felt peaceful and homey. The room and grounds were clean, and the overall atmosphere was quiet. From my room, I could hear some traffic from El Camino, but it was more of a soft background hum that didn’t bother me (turning on the AC/fan significantly subdued much of the outside sounds). The complimentary continental breakfast was pleasantly substantial and the dining area was meticulously kept clean. As a vegan, I especially appreciated the hot plain oatmeal (no milk added), along with plenty of toppings, fruits, bagels, juices, among others. A fun variety of teas, coffee, and water are available to guests all day. Most of all, the staff here are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and super accommodating. Two snaps up and a zing! 😊

This property must have been significantly renovated within the last few years. It is absolutely a perfect place to stay. I didn’t see any deficiencies whatsoever. It’s modern. It’s clean and it has every possible amenity inside the room.

The room was clean every time we came back from Stanford University pow wow and not to mention the customer service was excellent

Menlo Park Inn was awesome!! Really friendly staff, super clean, and felt very safe and conveniently located. The breakfast was perfect for a grab-and-go and would be open even after their designated hours. There was always a cooler with filtered, iced water to fill up water bottles. We had a great time, would highly recommend!

Hands down the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep on. And I say tried because there was no sleep between the loud screeching noise coming from who knows where every hour and the plywood mattress. Now I will say house keeping and the front desk were fantastic but you will never catch me anywhere near this place again. I can’t figure out how this hotel had such great ratings and reviews.

Easy parking, very clean

Requested early check in and approved for it. Check in host at lobby said our room had to be cleaned first, and she stated she would give us a call in 30-60 minutes. We sat in the parking lot and waited patiently for over an hour without a call, so we proceeded to check back in on the status of our room. She gave us our cards/keys to the room, and then we realized we had been viewing the room from our vehicle while waiting in the parking lot….nobody had gone in or out to clean the room. It didn’t need to be cleaned like she said. It was ready the whole time. Frustrating, to say the least.

No straightening of the room. Housekeeping came in the room to change lotions but failed to take out my breakfast mess, or straighten the bathroom. Terrible

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. It has been consistent. The rooms are clean, the amenities are just fine. I’m not looking for anything fancy just clean with a good hot shower and a television that doesn’t require two remotes. Ha! Parking is a huge plus. That can get expensive quickly.

We have stayed here three times now and every time it is consistently excellent. The staff are lovely, and always willing to help. The rooms have a mini fridge and a microwave! Excellent location walking distance to everything. Do not hesitate to book!
