The hotel was nice, but you have to pay for parking there which I think is ridiculous. If I would’ve known that I wouldn’t have booked there. Never been to a hotel where you have to pay for parking. Pool also was out of order the last day I was there.

Unfortunately the room I was given had bugs. The people at the front desk were polite and understanding and moved me to a new room. The property isn’t well maintained and the elevators are very rickety and looks like it is a year passed inspection. The bathroom ceiling had obvious mold. When checking me in the trainee meant to charge me the deposit but accidentally recharged me for my 5 days stay on the card I was putting the deposit on. Tying up an additional $600 for my entire stay. Mistakes happen but was told the voided it and it would be refunded. 5 days later I went back to the front desk and someone else looked at it and said they would revoid the charge. It refunded me before I left the counter which is frustrating as not having access to my expense funds for 5 days really hindered the entire trip.

The property was nice, but there was a lot of information missing when booking. I was unaware you had to pay for parking overnight, I wish this was listed. Then the pool was closed. This one of the pulling features towards booking the hotel, and I was unaware it was closed until I went and investigated myself. I would have appreciated more communication.

I like its quiteness and convenience to many areas. However, the room floor was not clean. if you want to walk bare foot inside the room, you need to wash them before bed. it looks clean for my eyes. overall its not too bad to stay.

The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and other amenities including the rodeo.

The whole hotel felt like an oven. Our room never felt cool, no matter how many times we messed with the thermostats. There must have been plumbing issues that leaked into the hallway on the floor we stayed at. A huge fan was there to dry the carpet but the smell was horrible. Staff was rude about changing rooms. I won't be booking here the next time I stay in Dallas which is sad because the room was big enough for our family of five.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. When I arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. There were visible dust, debris, and areas that appeared to have been overlooked by housekeeping. There was blood stain on the wall by the sink. A clean room is a basic expectation when staying at a hotel, and this fell short of that standard. While the staff was polite, the condition of the room negatively affected my overall experience. I hope the hotel improves its housekeeping practices for future guests.

Breakfast meals was awesome menu & service. The lady who was in charge was sweet and fast. The front desk ladies was sweet and helpful. The only thing I was kinda disappointed was the room was cleaned maybe because I was asking for it? But the second day was not at all. Same thing with my other room, with them was the 1st day wasn't clean but they cleaned the second day. I'm not sure it's because the policy or missed it or what, because we're leaving the room the same day everyday for 3 days we're there...

The property was great! The woman at the registration desk upon arrival (about 4:30)and our departure the next morning was so preoccupied entering info on her computer. On our departure (about 9:00)we mentioned that one of the guest (elderly) had fallen down in the parking lot, we had assisted back in the hotel. My husband was loading the car in the drive through, and actually saw the man go down another time and get up. He fell the 2nd time my husband and other guest in the parking lot ran to assist him. He was bleeding from his head and arms from the fall. I help assist him back in the hotel when a lady and a man who were with him, eating breakfast, came to assist breakfast, when they saw us in the hallway. She seemed very unconcerned and just said she would “keep an eye out”. I hope the gentleman was okay, they took him back to the room. He had told me his wife was on the 3rd floor. I felt the she (employee) that might want to check on the condition of guest in the hotel.

We had 2 rooms (total) booked (one was a double bed with a pull out couch in another room) with 6 adults and 1 child. We all agreed that the lobby, walking into the hotel, smelled like body odor and the elevators smelled like sewage. Guess it was a good thing we chose to take the stairs.... although, carrying baggage down the stairs was an adventure in itself. The beds were extremely hard and the pillows were horrible! All 4 pillows, stacked together, were about 2 inches thick with your head lying on them. We went to Walmart and bought 4 pillows, pillow cases and a duffle bag to carry them in for about $120 and that made a HUGE difference for us. It made it a little more tolerable. The towels and rags felt like they were heavily starched which resembled sandpaper rubbing your face and body. Breakfast was exactly what you expect a hotel "buffet" to be.....powdered eggs, frozen sausage and packaged gravy to go over the biscuits. For a so-called "free" meal, it served its purpose. We all got full. Was this the most horrible hotel we've ever stayed at? Absolutely not! Would we stay here again? Probably not.

Pool as not available during our stay and we were told when booking that is was going to be. It's the only reason we chose this location. Mattresses were stained and filthy. Only one elevator was working there, making it difficult to get to and from the room, the wait times for the elevator were just not acceptable. Neither TV in our room worked and it was hot inside the hotel all weekend. And the front desk was little to no help, employees just didn't seem to care, they offered a $20 discount on our stay. We were not impressed with their operation at all.

We stayed for one night during our travels. When we arrived they didn't have any king bed rooms available so we were upgraded to a queen suite! Nice nice room!! The mattress was super comfortable. The air conditioner kept us comfortable and wasn't very loud compared to some hotels. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The eggs were very tasty and not dry. The coffee was spot on! I'd definitely stay here again!

For a few day stay its not too bad. There was somethings that need work. For instance, the shower needed work on it for more pressure. The fridge didn't cool and the door to the room didn't shut completely at time you have to pull it shut.

Our room had a stench to it we had to go out and by Lysol. The stench was so bad it was hurting my chest, nose and throat. Vents had build up dust and just felt like the overall air conditioning was extremely bad. Pool was also closed the entire duration of our stay.

I have to make frequent trips to my in-laws. There are a numerous # of places to stay close to my in-laws. This is the only place I will stay in this area that is the closest to my in-laws. I have stayed at one other nearby hotel. Never again. I only feel safe and comfortable at The Hampton Inn Mesquite.

Love this hotel. Stayed before. Service is great. The pool area balcony is peaceful in the morning. Breakfast is good. Love using the Hilton app for check in and keys. Near shopping and restaurants and event center is next door

Requested towels never got them, hotel convention center is under construction. Therefore no working restrooms inside the area unless you walk to lobby to use the one restroom they have. One elevator was not working so it took at least 10 mins for the elevator to come to the floor and another 5 minutes for the elevator to get to whatever floor you need get on. Room is small and very dusty. I like that it had a fridge and microwave. Terrible lighting and very uncomfortable beds.

My room is not the issue. It is the Hotels website that is horrible. When i booked my room the webpage auto reset the check in date i selected for a wrong date. It is not cancelable or correctible and im screwed owing a huge penalty. I will never use Hotels again. HUGE cheat.

Food & drinks I gave 2 stars for the service as breakfast time there was a lady who was standing by the food and yelled at us that we need to close the lid once we are done which I understand but there were 4 people behind me and they had already picked up the tongs to get the food. It would have been rude of me to close it while they are getting food. Then she said I guess I need to stand here and have a TRANSLATOR with me for some people (us). The whole day it upset me my dad and my kids felt mistreated. Noteworthy details I’m sure I am not the 1 st one who felt that way. The guy at the end of the line felt to answer her and said I will close it since I am the last in line. She even yelled at a small boy for dropping things on the floor. And the dad felt intimidated to correct him in front of her. Everyone was polite but her. I wouldn’t go again to this hotel, it was supposed to be a family thing but my kids and dad were very uncomfortable throughout.

The room was really clean and welcoming. Im glad to see an ATM machine in the lobby. We didnt have to run to the store or find our own bank. The only negative commwnt would be that the ice machine wasnt qorkimg on our floor, floor 5. But it wasnt a big deal as we were able to go down a floor to get some. Overall it was a great stay.

The room and the property were very clean. I’m not usually a fan of hotels since I prefer being at home, but I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly, and the location was convenient for both shopping and the event we attended. The rodeo is also right next door and runs every weekend during the season, which is a fun option if you’re looking for something nearby to do. My only complaint was the bed, but it wasn’t the worst I’ve slept on and wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

Stayed for 3 nights and the room was never cleaned. The bed was not very comfortable. I did like the size of the restroom and the water pressure was great. The front desk staff was friendly. The pool area is huge but unfortunately the pool looked dirty. They are pet friendly. Overall, the hotel is ok and works for families on a budget.

The room was very clean. It had a bit of a smell when we first arrived but the air purifier in the room took care of that pretty quickly. The linens smelled musty as well but once we requested fresh linens it was fine. Great free breakfast buffet with a lot of options. Coffee and hot tea are available at all times in the lobby.

The property was what I expected. I was a little off put by being charged for parking. I realize the hotel is attached to a convention center, but I think hotel guests should be able to park for free since we are paying for our hotel stay. I understand those not staying on site but attending convention center events would need to pay to park, but I just didn't agree with that being the case for hotel guests. There was also some overpriced waters in the room. Again, I just don't think this facility aligned with the type of location offering such an item and it was strange to me. As for a decent stay in walking distance from where I was visiting, it was fine.

Super clean room and facility. Staff serving breakfast was amazing. The ladies were very friendly and attentive. Only bad thing was they start closing breakfast early by 9:40 they stop refilling anything. Also nothing happened to our car thank God, but when checking out there was a couple of police cars. They notified my husband there were several cars with broken windows and at least one that had his weapons (since there was a gun show) they were stolen.

No housekeeping at all. No fresh towels. No bed made. The bed was squeeky. The phone didn't work. No view at all just pigeons and roof that's all.

Firat time staying in a hotel and im very pleased i chose this location. Reservation was easy and simple. Check in was fast and veey friedn with lots of information for someone who is new. Romm was veey cleaned and organized. Comfy bed great view. Bathroom is very clean good water pressure with all the things you will need. Im very please with my stay will definitely recommended and come again if im around the area. Free breakfsst was delicious probably got there late so no sausages ut thtas my fault. Only complain i will say its the elevator i stayed on the six floor and the bitton woukd not work or theres some issue with the elevator that i was waiting like 7 minutes for the elevator to arrive so i just took the stairs. But other than that im happy with my stay.

I’d say the only downfall was having to wait 5+ mins for the elevator since only one was working, and I was told the elevator had already been down for about 5 months. Crazy part is the elevator inspection form in the elevator that worked was just inspected sometime in June or July of 2025. So why wasn’t the other one fixed?…

The room was clean, no issues. The common area are run down and only 1 elevator works. (Same issue last year when we stayed)

They probably could have gotten a better score but they only had one elevator working which is terrible when you are on the top floor. Also make sure you understand that when you make the reservation that there is no free parking you have to pay to park.

Nothing in particular. One elevator not working. First room had defective toilet (repair guy was great, helped us get a new room). No restaurant close. No frozen dinners in stuff for sale in freezer. Breakfast the worst for this level hotel in our 7 week, 6800 mile auto tour.

Staff was kind and courteous. The accommodations, while clean, weren’t comfortable. The beds were firm, pillows were too squishy and the water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent. The hotel staff were very kind in sending some goodies to help us celebrate our 2nd anniversary, which was a sweet gesture.

Hotel was conveniently located for purpose of our trip. Room was comfortable and quiet. I did not like that we had to pay a daily parking charge. It looked like the hotel had sufficient parking for its residents. Most hotels I have stayed at do not charge for parking or offer a sticker to place on car dash to signify you are a hotel guest.

My room had a few areas that need repair. The bath drain was not connected and difficult to make work properly. Several of the electrical plugs in the room were worn to the point where they would not hold the male plug-in. There was a tissue holder in the bathroom but it was empty. The toilet paper holder kept falling apart.

Be aware that they charge for parking and it's just an open air lot. They say they will waive the fee which is only $10 but you have to join their loyalty program. I would have rather they included the parking fee in the overall room fee instead of telling me I had to join their program and then they wouldn't charge me parking.

They was a party downstairs in the lobby that soon moved outside. It became loud, smell of marijuana was very distinct and the became violent. Upon returning from having dinner, we were afraid that guns were going to become part of the equation. We reported to front desk lady who was oblivious to disturbance as she ate her Popeyes. Then barricaded ourselves in our room!

The property was convenient to the convention center. The staff that we dealt with were rude and didn't care a lot about good customer service. Also, we paid for parking for two nights, went to eat, no parking anywhere. How do you make us pay to park and then tell us that there is nothing you can do about it when we come back?

We had the best customer service experience with Mary and Becky, from the front desk. Very attentive, friendly, polite and personable. Very welcoming and made us feel at home. Even gave us courtesy tickets to the rodeo since we were celebrating my boyfriend’s 50th birthday. Overall, all of the staff were great and very polite.

Staff was kind. Becky R. was and is always friendly, helpful and kind. We love seeing her and talking with her.

Everything was great as far as service and the room. The only issue we had was the elevators. there was only two and one was not working and the other was extremely slow. We had to wait 7 to 8 minutes a couple of times. Other then that the stay was great.

I originally had a reservation with a hotel down the road, but they randomly canceled my reservation after I drove two hours to Mesquite. I was able to get a reservation here last minute and when I showed up, they gave me a complementary upgrade because they had a last minute cancellation. The staff is amazing and the hotel is even more amazing. We have stayed here multiple times and it is always perfect.

The hotel was really nice. Conveniently attached to the convention center and a quick walk to the Mesquite Arena. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist.

I loved the breakfast and the lunch at the Xcolatinbyjackie convention. The turkey legs. Hopefully you’ll have them next year.
