    This is a budget hotel in great location. I would compare it to a motel 6. Only thing different was white bedding instead of those cheap floral comforters in the motels. There are no lights in the room, only desk lamps, bathrooms are dirty and everything in them is old and barely working. It looks a lot better in the pics. If you need a cheap place to stay and are not a hotel snob, this is for you.

    I was charged TWICE for amenities. Once when I booked and a second time when I arrived. They claim Travelocity withheld the payment to them and made me pay it again before giving me my room key. Thanks Travelocity for Fu&king up the booking. Cost me an extra $106.

    The experience with the front desk was very disappointing. The administrator argued with me multiple times, first giving us one room and then trying to change it. There was also confusion about breakfast — we were told different things and it felt very unprofessional. When we decided to leave, the staff was not surprised at all, which says a lot. Unfortunately, we were not refunded for the two nights we had booked. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

    While the room was clean to the naked eye I found a bug on the floor in my room, a roach to be specific. I had to kill it. That shocked me I couldn’t believe my eyes. Also on the website it mentioned they had transportation from and to the airport and that they offered chairs on the beach. None of that is true. When my room key was deactivated for no reason (by the way this happened several times during my stay. !75 the first time it happened I called over 20x before I finally resched someone. And when I did she was rude and short regarding the situation. Overall I won’t be booking again and I don’t recommend.

    Probably the greatest hotel I’ve ever say that. You walk in and it looks a little bit shady and a little bit old, but the rooms are extremely spacious worth the money in the best location in all of Miami and I had a very amazing stay right next to the Lowe’s and on Collins Avenue had an amazing trip only spent $200 a night and I had a great time!

    The room was ok, beds hard as can be, no on site parking and it's $160 to park overnight in a ramp. The shower area was gross, doors peeling apart, no fan in bathroom. Check in online is difficult and doesn't work, then the door is locked so you can't even get in to the desk and the desk person doesn't unlock or open it for you unless you're dressed with body parts hanging out. Then this morning we are leaving and the cleaning staff are blocking the door, standing there on their phones not getting out of the way. Only 5 TV channels if you're traveling with kids. Walls are paper thin and was bright all night long. For the $330 price of this room, I would have expected a little more.

    Was double charged for the $109 “resort fee”. Up to me to try and claw it back from Travelocity. Digital key only worked for about 12 hours. Then they had to issue a physical key card. Remote control for the TV didn’t work. Had to get the hotel staff to come and physically turn off the TV so I could go to bed. The room was cold. Had to go to the front desk to get that fixed as the remote control for that didn’t work either. Soap dispenser in the shower is installed so as to prevent you from getting any soap or shampoo. Hotel staff was very polite and helpful but what a Cluster Fu&k. Everything was a hassle. Will never stay at this hotel again.

    Did not have a mini fridge in the room, Room furniture was missing paint, the door did not close fully to the outside unless pushing hard on it, no pool as said, no resort amenities but towels that were very thin, no am breakfast, couldn’t hold luggage on last day, overall not a great place to stay and very pricey for what we got

The AC was on full blast and they did not know how to operate or turn it down, so I had to request a few more blankets to sleep somewhat comfortable through the night. It was a horrible stay.     The room was neglected, the walls were stained, the sofa in the room was dirty and unusable for sitting, so we used it to put our suitcases on. The faucet in the bathroom was broken and difficult to use. Finally, I asked for help regarding the tax refund, and each staff member gave a different answer. Moreover, even the employee who responded via Booking.com gave a contradictory answer to the one they provided through the system.

    Location good. No breakfast provided.Wallswerein poor condition Needs to be painted badly! Furniture all old and wood showed thru paint. They 4 sun lounge chairs upstairs on patio. All were rusted, broken and with torn fabric . With broken crossbars, you couldn’t sit in them unless you are petite.

    Checking in was a PITA. Juan, the front desk agent told us the only way to get into the room was digitally through their app which I had to download. I was not able to do this because I didn’t know my Apple password. I desperately tried to figure it out to no avail. After several minutes of trying I asked if there was a workaround and was told that there is not. Long story short he finally gave us regular plastic hotel door keys, but only after putting us through stress and struggle for several minutes. WHY? This guy’s sole job is to help guests check in and out. When he finally gave us the cards he became totally dismissive and rude. The room itself was completely run down. Poor patch jobs everywhere. Everything was the cheapest quality. At least the bed appeared to be clean.

    Easy access to the beach and restaurants. Good location. Staff are friendly. A/C works well, but you need to talk to the front desk staff to adjust it. I wish it has some shelf in the washroom where you can put tooth brush etc. more racks and hooks to enable enough places for towels and clothes.

    my front desk person was Genesis , she always had a friendly smile . My room had an outdated micro wave oven and a tiny refrigerator... not enough space for water and left over food... but it was clean. Sheets and pillow cases were rough on the skin, but clean.. the digital display on the air conditioner said 70degrees Fahrenheit but the room felt warm- made falling a sleeping painful.

    Biggest plus for this hotel is the location. The interior is old but surprisingly spacious and the price was reasonable relative to the rest of the hotels in the area. My biggest complaint (which made my stay rather unpleasant) was the complete lack of noise insulation from the surrounding rooms. I could hear everything my neighbors were saying/doing and I woke up in a panic my first morning because it was so loud it actually sounded like someone was IN my room. Would rather pay a little extra for a more pleasant stay.

    All of the staff that we encountered were absolutely wonderful. The housekeeping staff, I believe it was a maintenance gentleman that helped with our bags and the two gentleman at the front desk were so nice! The room was huge, great air conditioning, nice location. Beach chairs and beach access were included (a little bit of a walk) and you can add on an umbrella for around $20.00…so worth it. Great location to walk to food and stores. Room could use some updating I guess you could say, paint, desk, bathroom and sofa bed. Overall great experience, would definitely stay their again.

    Our room was in terrible condition. Holes and stains on the walls and bath. Floors very dirty with long hair all over the floor. Walls so thin you can hear everything next door and outside your room. The sink was clogged and completely filled with water just brushing your teeth. We were woken up several times though out the 2 nights spent here. If I hadn’t been so sick from a cruise I had just returned from I would have definitely went elsewhere to stay. There was no refrigerator or microwave and the beach is blocks away.

    This property was not what we expected as the Expedia pictures and rating were misleading. The property and the rooms are not nice. The property is run down…furniture was broken…toilet seat was broken and the bathroom had no counter. The walls are paper thin and people outside sounded like they were in our room. We were quite disappointed and this is probably the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

    Although the staff was friendly, the property itself was in need of significant repairs, updates, and a thorough deep cleaning. The room floor was dirty, the curtains were torn and did not fit properly, and the bathroom flooring was uneven and poorly installed. The toilet was old and stained, and the bathtub required refinishing. Additionally, there was no nozzle to fill the bathtub with water. The paint was chipped, and the furniture was warped and worn.

    The Art Deco architecture of hotel was really interesting but the room was a bit sparse and tired. We expected more from the photos. The common area outside the rooms looked cool but was not so cool with people enjoying themselves and smoking right outside our window. Some of the basics were missing. There were no wine glasses and not even drinking glasses. Staff were nice.

    Absolutely horrible experience and because of the rundown condition of the room I barely slept. You must carry your bags upstairs. Non-working outlets or need to be rigged. No towel rack. Old fashion window shades with no curtain. Bathroom drains with .99 hair catchers. Mattress covered with topper so I was unable to check that for marks. No cups to take medication. Screws beneath the bathroom mirror holding it up. Caulking clearly dirty and smashed into corners of the bathroom. Arrived when a handy man was making a repair on the roof of the room. HORRIBLE experience. You get what you pay for.

    Although my first impression was not so good due to a long line to check and only one employee for almost 15 people the gentleman I believe his name was Emmanuelle was very kind and talkative so he was able to change the mood—small but convenient hotel in the middle of everything. The room was very large although it was very simple and the bathroom need a makeover asap, its stuck in the 70s but for the rest great time on this property.

    This is the filthiest hotel I have ever tried to stay in. The bathtub was disgusting in the first unit they had us in. There was mold on the air vent above the bed in the second unit.

    Did not like anything about this property to the point where I went to stay at another hotel. Expedia should definitely remove this hotel from their listings. The bathtub was dirty. The floor in the bathroom was falling apart. The bathroom faucet was so hard to open. The little kitchenette only had cold water. The beds were really bad. The night shift employee forgot to bill me the resort tax so the daytime personnel blocked my room cards. Overall, I would never recommend that anybody stay here. I wish I could get some sort of refund from Expedia.

    Examples of where maintenance was needed were: the shower knob was not functional, the sink was falling off the wall, the tiles were coming off in the shower, the key card didn’t work initially, etc. Definitely would recommend avoiding in the future. Not worth the price, especially given how much you pay despite the location.

    Staff were friendly. The air conditioning is centrally controlled at reception so we had to ask to turn it down and couldn't control it overnight.

    This hotel is very convenient. The main strip with all the restaurants and beach is in a walkable distance. I cannot remember the front desk guy name who checked me in but he was amazing. He was super welcoming and helpful my whole stay. The only negative thing is I feel like the pictures I seen when booking my stay made the hotel room look a bit more spacious and up to date. But in person it’s just regular . But if you don’t plan on being in the hotel often while on your trip I would say this could be a go to something decent enough to lay your head and shower. But if you plan on being in your room more than being out maybe choose a different option. Over all it was a decent stay.

    Rooms are spacious like an renovated apartment. There was no control for a/c so was unable to adjust temperature. Minimal amenities but clean. Would not advise driving unless you are ok with public parking down the street.

    We booked this property based on location and its 8.2/10 rating. The property is very outdated. The windows all have screws in them to prevent opening, and the room temperature is only controlled by the front desk. The service was nice, and the property feels safe, as you require a key card to access the front door after hours.

    The location is good, but no food, no coffee. Rooms were very cold and we couldn't change the temp. Beds were comfortable, nice towels.

    Property is older but our room was clean which is the most important quality my family looks for in a hotel. Room was spacious and had everything we needed for our one night stay. Overall condition of hotel and room is good. The receptionist Genysis was friendly and very helpful in answering all the questions we had about the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Miami.

    My overall experience was good, the service and staff were very kind, the rooms are not the best but the convenience of the location and pricing balances it. The parking situation was the hardest but they do offer valet parking paying daily.

    The front door was locked and my car key didn't work and the solution that was offered when i told them was that they would have to buzz me in from the front desk apparently when they're not checking other people in or busy. There were no cups in the room, the TV didn't work (I brought the remote to the front desk and the front desk man said he would come look at it and never did). The Wi-Fi didn't work. The two old lamps that were in disrepair in the room did not have a lot enough light for me to read in my bed. I went to the wrong offsite parking garage, because the directions were not clear (might have been clearer if I spoke Spanish)....I paid for two nights but only stayed one
