This property was a really great stay! I loved the location, the amenities (especially the pool), and the room space. It was perfect for solo traveling. I felt safe within the hotel and the surrounding areas on Collins Ave. I definitely recommend to those looking for an affordable stay with a classic ”art deco” feel.

I stayed here for a full week and loved my experience! The location was perfect—just a short walk across the street to the beach, with so many great restaurants, cafés, and coffee shops nearby. It made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself was beautiful. The pool was relaxing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the lobby was absolutely adorable and so welcoming. Everything felt thoughtfully designed! The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. Every person I interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. They always made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond to meet my needs. Whenever I reached out with a question or request, I received a response within minutes. The level of customer service was truly exceptional! The concierge was especially amazing. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations, directions, or any questions I had throughout my stay. I also got to meet some wonderful people from all over the world during my time here. The international atmosphere created such a friendly and welcoming environment, and the company was lovely. Overall, this hotel was great. Between the unbeatable location, beautiful accommodations, relaxing amenities, and outstanding staff, it was an unforgettable stay. I would love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I like the Tropical feel of the hotel especially in decor details. The staff was great along with front desk being so helpful. The only thing that was an issue were the thin walls but everything else was perfect. Will stay again!

Location can't be beat. That I didn't have enough time to relax at the pool or in the lobby. Seriously, its a great place, especially for the price.

The location is perfect The hotel is very old, and the photos online are misleading. Whoever photoshopped them is honestly a genius, because the reality is different from the pictures. The room felt outdated and poorly maintained. The lighting was terrible, the sound insulation was almost nonexistent, and I kept waking up because you can hear everything through the walls. Another issue was the AC which cannot be controlled at all in my room. The only “solution” the staff suggested was covering it with a magnet, which is ridiculous for a hotel at this price point.

Very cozy. Carpets in the halls need updating. Room was nice, but bed and sheets not great. It looks like it was decorated by Temu. Nice pool, great location. Fredericko was very nice and helped us check in a bit early and stored our luggage when we checked out. Needs updating.

See what I didnt like... I had cockroaches in the bathroom. After they 'treated' the bathroom, they were still there and had a huuuge one on my toiletries bag. Also woodlice crawling across the floor in various places

Tropics hotel was so accommodating! They had extremely quick responses and responded to all of our needs within minutes - quickest response time from a hotel that I have experienced. Location is also amazing, right on South Beach. Some parts of the bathroom were older and more clearly used, however for the price and service it can definitely be overlooked. Thank you!

The pool, cooking area, and patio were fantastic amenities. We loved our stay and enjoyed the art deco architecture and interior design. The location was also super helpful as it is near an airport shuttle bus stop, the beach, and all the fun restaurants/bars. We would love to return again.

Breakfast was not offered by the hotel, however there are ample options within walking distance. The hotel offers good value for money for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price point for Miami Beach Smooth and efficient check-in/check-out process Excellent location – within easy reach of the beach, restaurants, and key attractions Friendly and helpful staff, always willing to assist when needed Clean and well-maintained rooms with all essential amenities Stayed for 5 days – room cleaning was not carried out consistently, however towels were replaced promptly upon request.

The rooms were very small and did not seem clean much at all. We found a couple pieces of trash that must have been left from the people before us and the bathroom looked very grimy/unclean as well. We booked for 6 of us and they put 3 of us in 2 rooms- each room with a full or queen sized bed and a small mat that they put on the floor? It wasn't ideal but we made it work by all sleeping in the bed, as the floor just wasn't an option due to the uncleanliness of the room.

Location excellent. Bed comfortable. Nice smell in reception area Tired and shabby. No one at reception the whole visit until the morning we checked out. All the codes for door access were a pain. The room was booked for 3 adults but the futon was not set for the 3rd adult nor did we have sheets, bedding or towels for that 3rd adult. Despite stating it did, there was no way to control the air co centrally - only offered magnetic plates to cover vents (which we had to find ourselves around reception area). The pool area was shabby! The room walls were thin and you could hear everything in the next rooms and corridor clearly. Not great at 1am! Would not recommend this hotel unless desperate

Location was epic! Right across from the beach access point, right between Espanola street and Lincoln road. Still quiet at night though. Such a cute old miami style place. Great pool, I think it’s excellent for the price point. Had a wonderful time. Found decent parking right around the corner on 16th street for $20 per night. I’ll definitely be returning to this spot in the future! The walls are extremely thin. No coffee machine in the rooms. No way to control the AC in the rooms. No eye hole to see who knocks your door.

I like the location for sure. I think i dont have to mention it specifically since a lot of people mentioned that Parking. Its not on-site as described on booking. its location specific. but i would say would be nice to include that info. no control over AC. you cant control it only open or close the latch. its always gonna blow cold air stayed for 6 nights and room was cleaned only once when I specifically asked management for that. I know I could ask more but thats why we got stars to rate. room light. its really dark in room we stayed since it was facing to the parking lot which was blocking the sunlight pool was not clean

Cons: very old building with paper thin walls…can hear everything which for us meant a crying baby all hours of the day, no coin/change machine for the laundry, no staff on-site for immediate questions. Just had a little but of a creepy vibe

The adorable hotel is in the perfect location. 2-3 min walk to the beach, right around the corner from the major shopping area on Lincoln road. It’s also just a block away from Ocean Drive which has more restaurants than you’ll know what to do with. We only spent one day at the pool, because it was so windy we decided to skip the beach. The pool is perfect for sun lounging and going for a dip. I travelled with my two girls aged 15 and 13 and they loved it too and felt totally safe the entire time we were there. The hotel checked in with us daily by text to see if we needed anything which was a great touch. Our flight arrived super early like 8am and we were able to check into our room at 10am. 100% would recommend this hotel.

They don't provide cleaning service. It is only available at extra cost. The room was very dark in the evening. The lights in the room were very weak and could barely light the room at all. The promised beach towels were never delivered to our room and there was only one tiny bin in the bathroom.

Location The room was not like the advertisement very outdated. The bathroom door didn’t shut all the way, and it was impossible to keep the temperature in the shower even if the next door apartment flushed their toilet your shower would go cold.
