    A party of 2, we stayed at claremont hotel from May 9-14. One of the very few things that was actually good about this hotel, was its location. Right off of one of the main avenues in south beach miami, less thank 20 minutes from downtown miami, at the most 30 minutes from Little Havana district, Wynwood and Brickell, and literally a block away from the beach, the location couldnt have been more ideal.

    El hotel está súper bien ubicado, cerca de todo y a 100 m de la playa. Las instalaciones son nuevas, la cama confortable, con heladera, microondas y tostadora, el baño tiene secador de pelo y los elementos necesarios para la higiene personal incluyendo crema corporal. No hubo mantenimiento de limpieza durante los días de estadía y podíamos ver basura acumulada en los pasillos. La pileta está linda poco mantenida, sin sombrillas disponibles todo el tiempo, solo a demanda, lo cual es medio engorroso.

    There no parking zthey offer parking for $20 but you have to reserve in advance, you can find behind city hall parking just for $15 per day,no receptionist,The hotel hallways smell of cigarette smoke, even though smoking is prohibited. The rooms are not cleaned; my room had no blankets, and it took two days for them to be delivered. The A/C was leaking; a maintenance worker came by, but he left it exactly as it was.

    I liked the fact that they check on you every day to see if you need anything but housekeeping doesn’t come in to make your bed or clean the room which i didn’t like. there’s no place to really put trash and stuff & it did take hours for maintenance to bring towels and blankets.

    Located just 30 seconds from the beach and promenade, the hotel was a great location for bars and restaurants! The room itself was clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze with easy instructions sent direct to our phone. AC was perfect during the hot weather and the rooftop pool a hidden gem. I would recommend to anyone and I will be back for sure!

    Room was clean and staff was always available via phone for anything we needed. Some reviews complain the AC was very cold (which it is) but you can control it from your room so no problem. It is located in a great area for everything you could need and was perfect for a short stay in Miami.

    La verdad es un poco incómoda la entrada ya que queda en medio de un restaurante, se siente bastante la buya de afuera cuando llegue tuve una mala experiencia porque el código que me dieron no funcionaba me tocó escribir a las 5 de la mañana para que me dieran una solución, el cuarto no estaba muy bien aseado , el baño se mojaba bastante porque no tenía una cortina adecuada , la piscina se notaba que no le hacían mantenimiento porque el agua se veía verde!! lo único bueno es que era central el hotel entonces encontrabas todo cerca , pero de resto no volvería a hospedarme allí !

    In person office closes so early at 4pm so I struggled to figure out how to gain access to my room for about 10 minutes. The ac didn’t work so I had a fan in one spot. I had to mess around with my shower because it wouldn’t spray from the top.

    Our first room had a broken air conditioning unit. When I requested a room change, I was told that no other rooms were available until the following day. However, after contacting Expedia, another room suddenly became available. Unfortunately, the replacement room was no better—the air conditioning unit was missing its front cover and leaked dirty water directly onto our faces and heads while we slept each night. I have since developed a respiratory infection and am currently taking antibiotics, which I believe may be related to prolonged exposure to contaminated water and poor air quality from the malfunctioning air conditioning unit. The only positive aspect of this experience was the staff at the front desk, maintenance, and room service, who were consistently polite and kind. However, it was clear they were severely understaffed, especially on weekends, when it was nearly impossible to find anyone available in the hotel. Overall, this experience was unacceptable and fell far below reasonable standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and guest care.

    These guys were amazing. We got off a cruise ship early and we were able to store luggage in the closet for a few hours. The attendant at the front desk was even able to get us in several hours earlier than the check-in time. I was so appreciative of it. We’ll gladly go back there again.

    There was no staff available in person to assist—communication was handled entirely through text messages, which made the situation even more frustrating. When I raised the issue, the “solution” offered was a floor mattress, and it came without blankets, pillows, or any proper bedding. This is not an acceptable standard of service, especially after confirming the room arrangement in advance. The lack of basic accommodations and in-person support made the stay very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

    The self check-in did not work properly, I was given the wrong key and had to wait quite a while for maintenance to resolve it. Once inside, there was a strong odor of mold coming from the bathroom. It appeared to be in the walls, floors, and shower. The walls also had visible stains with an unknown sticky residue, and the bathtub had a crack. Overall, the room felt unsanitary. I reported the mold issue and explained it was affecting my allergies. I was told they would look into moving me to another room, but I never received any follow-up. Instead, the next day I was simply asked how my stay was and what time I would be checking out, which felt dismissive. To make matters worse, the AC also stopped working for a period of time. Overall, this reflected poor maintenance and a lack of responsiveness. I would not recommend staying here.

    It was a nice stay, I will say we had some issues with the door. We couldn’t even get in on check in day as the code they gave us was invalid, and then again on the second day the door just did not work anymore. Other than that communication was alright and the room was nice, a second bed sheet would’ve been nice there was no blanket. Hotel was very local to everything being around a 10 minute walk away.

    Overall stay was great, until a housekeeper stole my very expensive sunglasses. I asked for more towels and which was left on the bed when I was out of the room. When I returned my glasses was gone and I was told the staff is not suppose to enter the room. The towels were supposed to be left outside the door in a bag outside.

    The location is great. That is the most positive comment I can make. The front clerk was very unprofessional and very rude. She should not be working in customer service or be the first person you interact with on your visit. We had a large party staying with multiple reservations and she had such a poor attitude. She acted like we were an inconvenience for her and that she would rather be on her phone. We went for two days without towels after being promised multiple times they would be delivered. They offered to drop them off one more time as we were about to check out. Very disappointing. We had family members who stayed two doors down at San Juan and they had a very nice room and great staff.

    After a rough check the customer service was quickly able to help me get checked into a new room. The room was nice and AC worked great. Just a thing to note about the hotel is the walls are thin. The bed was comfortable and I brought ear plugs so the noise didn’t bug me at all. Overall the staff and customer service I received was excellent. I’d stay here again.

    Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to give a huge shout-out to the team at The Claremont Hotel, especially Keera, for making our stay so much smoother after a difficult start elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. But Keera truly stood out. She helped us with our room reservation at a time when we really needed a reliable and understanding team. She handled every request with care, patience, and professionalism, and was always available for our everyday questions – whether it was about room amenities, extra towels, dining options, or local recommendations. Keera made sure everything ran seamlessly and even checked in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find someone so consistently kind and efficient. The rest of the front desk and housekeeping staff were also wonderful, but Keera’s personal touch made all the difference. Thank you, Keera and the entire Claremont team, for turning a stressful situation into a truly comfortable and positive experience. We will definitely be back because of you. Would recommend: Yes.     The only positive aspect of this stay was the location—it was within walking distance of the convention center and made getting around Miami Beach easy. There were multiple serious issues throughout our stay. The air conditioning was not working on our second night and was never properly fixed, leaving the room extremely hot and uncomfortable—we were four people sharing one fan and were unable to sleep. There was also no hot water available, making it impossible to properly shower. The room itself was poorly maintained. The bathroom had no ventilation, and the windows could not be opened, which caused a persistent, strong humidity odor throughout the space. Although we reported it and the room was cleaned, the smell returned within hours. The sheets were visibly stained, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable and caused itching—we left with rashes across our bodies, which raised concerns about possible bed bugs. Additionally, the refund process was frustrating. We were only partially refunded for two of the three nights, and were told to contact Booking.com for the remaining amount, resulting in unnecessary back-and-forth. Overall, the lack of basic cleanliness, maintenance, and essential amenities made this a very poor experience.

    This was a very rundown hotel and there was essentially no customer service. After showing up, we didn't receive any information for checking in and we were locked out of our room for 30 minutes trying to get a response from somebody through an obscure telephone number via text. Even after we made contact, it took many different text messages to get the correct information to finality get in our room. The place inside was really run down, with chipped walls and broken tiles. It was far too expensive for what they are offering, especially for such poor customer service. Whoever was messaging with me over text said they would provide compensation, but they ignored my messages following our stay and we haven't heard from them since. I also lost a pair of sunglasses which may have ended up in the hotel room and after inquiring about those sunglasses, I didn't hear anything from the hotel staff again. Extremely poor customer service and I do not recommend this place whatsoever. Two big huge thumbs down.

    The front desk then went on to give WRONG INFO on parking. Told us all garages were not 24 hours and we had to pay for street parking until midnight. Well, guess what yall! Garages actually ARE available for overnight parking and are cheaper than what the hotel offered. Finally, after lugging our belongings 7 blocks… we go upstairs to our room and would you believe it…. OUR DOOR CODE DIDNT WORK!!!!!!!!! We sat outside of our room for 45 minutes waiting on a maintenance man to come let us in bc NOBODY working the phone service would answer our calls or texts. After we finally get into our room, our AC was not working. When we finally get it to work - it starts leaking water!!! Love that. Filled up half a trash can. Now let’s talk cleanliness.. well, lack thereof! The bathroom was rancid. The fan didn’t work and it reeked of mildew and wet dog. It didn’t smell like anything had ever been dried or cleaned. It was also just gross like a dirty old gym shower and bathroom. Not to mention it was very small.

    Amazing choice! Beach is literally across the street, shopping areas nearby, food spot right in front downstairs, other nice restaurants nearby, bars, and etc. Pool on the roof is nice for unwinding and relaxing. Loved it, I had to come back again and I received the same amazing experience!

    I’ve stayed here before and love the location. The beach is just a short walk away, and everything you need is nearby—gift shops, restaurants, convenience stores, bars, and more. The hotel itself has a great vibe, especially with the restaurant out front. Check-in is very easy since the door uses a code, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of a key. There’s also a rooftop with a small pool, which is a nice touch. Staff followed up and checked on how my staff was going. Very friendly and helpful. It was a very affordable and comfortable stay in Miami. The room included thoughtful extras like a mini fridge, cooler, extra fan, and umbrella. The central air worked very well, too. The room is on the smaller side, but it’s perfect for a solo traveler or two guests. I came in January when it was very chilly and even when I turned off the central air, it was still so cold. They didn't have a comforter on the bed or extra blankets, so I ended up buying a sweatpants and sweatshirt because I could not sleep.

    The hotel itself is in a great physical location, being very close to the beach and all that South Beach offers. However a couple things to note, the entrance to the hotel is through a hookah bar/restaurant with no physical door between the hallway of the hotel and the hookah smoke or noise from the bar. Additionally, the fire alarm went off multiple times while we were there and aside from the kitchen staff screaming at each other over it, there was no communication as to whether or not it was safe to go back to our rooms. There is no hotel staff onsite, I had a problem where my door access wasn't working and had to try and get help through the expedia app and a text message, this was stressful and frustrating when you're parked in a no parking zone as South Beach Parking is limited. The hotel room itself isn't a bad design, but our door into the hotel room stuck on the floor as the LVP flooring is raised and separating in the entryway. All in all, a great location, just temper your expectations for the hotel itself.

    I love the location! It’s so close to everything Their receptionist is off starting 4 PM. We arrive around 10pm but the code didn’t work and we have to wait until the staff came to fix it. Then, the room is too cold and need to contact the staff through text message. Later, we figured out that they don’t do housekeeping. With the price that I paid around $200 per night, it’s definitely not making any sense. Also, the room and hallway smell like mold.

O contanto demorou a responde mais de 2h e como na entrada no local funciona o bar e no local também não é possível ficar com o carro parado esperando solucionar o acesso ao quarto através do Self check-in, tivemos que ir embora procurar um outro local para me hospedar.

    The great location near beach, restos, nightlife, transport, shopping, everything.the hotel offered great amenities, perfect small size, practicality, even a pool on the roof! Communication outside main 9-4 hours was challenging. Text wasn't available thru app. The floor needed vacuuming and washing better.

    Service wasn't great, I spend two days requesting towels and never received them had to chase a housekeeper in the hallway to get the towels.

    Since the day we arrive we reported the AC was not working, we messaged and the answer was someone was going to check it out but they never did. Later we found out the issue was going on for over a week, however the hotel never reached out being transparent with the problem or let us choose if we wanted to cancel the stay and stay somewhere else. We had to spend 3 days in a room with no AC and with windows that won’t open. It wasn’t what we were expecting

    Chambre confortable. Emplacement de l'hôtel idéal. Proche de tout. Nous sommes restés 5 jours et malheureusement la chambre n'a jamais été faite. Il manquait également les serviettes. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir libérer la chambre à 12h au lieu de 11h.

    Clean small room with a nice refrigerator and microwave and roomy shower and bathroom. The room was clean. The hotel is a little worn in but it has large pool deck and is so close to Miami Beach and lots of restaurants. The entrance is the restaurant. Take the elevator to the right. Must go to ocean deli best breakfast sandwiches you will have. Also

    Never even came in contact with staff, front of building was unclear, ac was not working to rooom and not fixed during the stay. Door also wouldn’t close and lock without slamming shut.

    Tiene una excelente ubicacion , pero si se hospedada por mas 2 dias como nosotros con un bebe de 18 meses es complicada porque no hay limpieza a la habitacion entonces eso lo hace un hotel para solo ir a dormir no por tantas noches

    Nous avons passé quelques jours à cette hôtel est le nettoyage de la chambre et le remplacement des linges n'a pas été fait. Malgré nos demandes à la femme de ménage et à la réception de l'hôtel, nous avons dû utiliser nos linges mouillés durant 5 jours !! Pour conclure, nous avons eu le droit à des travaux et notamment des bruits de perceuse durant toute la nuit, impossible de dormir !! Par contre, l'hôtel est bien placé et proche de la plage.

    The self check in codes never worked. People were smoking in the first floor bar. Not ideal if you have kids. Overall, I feel like the state of the hotel is in need of repair. Was disappointing considering the price.
