Reviews
The hotel has a great location in the center of everything, with friendly staff and a comfortable bed. However, there are several issues with the rooms, including cleanliness, noise, and broken amenities. Additionally, some guests have reported problems with parking, towels, and soap.

I would say this hotel is good if you just need to crash for a night or two but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer. The elevator is tiny and very slow. My boyfriend and I had a handicap accessible room and it smelled like mildew. The water from the shower gets all over the bathroom floor and the shower curtain was dirty. The pool smelled like they added bleach to it and when my boyfriend got out his swim trunks were completely faded and had to be thrown away. The staff is nice and accommodating and you get 2 free drinks per person per day at the bar. Overall I would not stay here again though.
- 5/5
Clean room, can get noisey at night but that’s to be expected. Free happy hour drinks were a plus!
- 5/5
The Room Was Comfy & Clean, The Staff Was Friendly The Elevator Very Old & Moves Slow
- 3/5
I feel like the property could use an update, the elevator was supper slow it didn’t know if it was coming on going, the bar/restaurant closed very early and the pool is very small it’s like kiddy pool, the rooms was okay but I think they need to add a microwave, food was pretty good

The hotel claims to have a pool, but it is shared with another business and cannot be enjoyed as one would like.
- 4/5
Our room was sufficient but the ground floor balcony was a joke. The pool is next door in the middle of the restaurant and is super small. Sergio was super helpful and kind, made our departure very pleasant.

Very good location a large room with a good view and close to the beach The room seemed to be very humid and had a mildew type odor.

Do not go to this hotel unless you want to pay a $80 reservation fee not included in the expedia reservation you just paid for. they only exclude you the fee if you go the hotels website. whats the point in participating with expedia if you dont tell your customers on expedia you will get fee-d. Oh yeah also no valet parking. park at your own risk on the street or walk 2.5 blocks to nearest public garage with luggage on tow.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service! My flight was extremely late and whoever answered the phone assured me it as all good. Checkin was easy. Great check out experience. Samantha was very friendly and helpful in helping me stow my bags for a little bit after checkout. I’d be happy to come here again.
- 1/5
Do not stay here. Everything is so dirty and nasty. The place is infested with bug and I even saw roaches. The room and bed was full of bugs and we asked them to clean the room and the bugs were still there. Also, our room and many others smelled like cigarette smoke even though it’s a non smoking hotel. Do NOT stay there.

The rooms were clean and staff was very friendly! The only complaint we had is being denied umbrellas for the pool by restaurant staff, even though they were outside in the corner.

Very different the two nights. Got an absoulute garbage room the first night and I guess they knew what they did because I had barely opened my mouth to express my dissapointement when they offered to upgrade us and we got the suite. The suite was very nice - the first room was pretty bad. The first night.

My roommate had a bad injury in the room ..... It was like pulling teeth to get an ambulance then they downplayed the whole incident.... The elevator wasn't working.... They alarm was going of non stop for over an hour we had to leave our room... Other issues... Most The staff was friendly but won't be back

Location close to the beach, shops and transport links, breakfast in the bar next door was great, nice lobby In our room there were glass blocks instead of normal windows, corridor floors were uneven
- 5/5
This hotel is hella nice. The building is old and the elevator moves hella slow (lol) but, overall, it's a nice hotel. I love it. My room was nice and comfy. The restaurant and bar were good, too. And, the staff ... They were awesome. I came in from my cruise to the Bahamas with no voice, stuffed up ears and could barely hear. They were so kind and patient with me. This is my fave hotel in Miami Beach and I will be back! :)
- 3/5
The staff was kind. The room looked way better online, it was clean but smelled like moth balls. The walls are thin. The tv didn’t work, the elevator had broke and we had to carry our luggage down the stairs when checking out. It’s okay if you want to stay close to beach though. Not horrible, not bad just okay
- 4/5
Elevator was slow and malfunctioning sometimes

Location Pool area small and cramped
- 5/5
great staff, breakfast was excellent, the location was outstanding, so many places to eat, 7 eleven over the road, 5 minute walk to south beach, and the beds were so comfortable. pool was tiny, but ok, eggs potatoes and toast, after tax was around £15 ,however it's miami, lift took longer to open than to reach the 4th floor. £100 deposit which will take weeks to get back, should be instant.
- 2/5
Thin walls, sheets smelled dirty and place was very run down
- 5/5
Great food
- 5/5
Nice property with good amenities, friendly staff, i did appreciate beach towels chairs & umbrellas for free
- 3/5
the floor was not vacuumed or swept and the toilet had dry pee on the seat from the previous guest
- 3/5
The restaurant was nice, had good food. Kids enjoyed swimming even though the pool was tiny, its was fun. Only thing is I felt uncomfortable letting my kids freely swim with customers eating so close to the pool. Overall, won’t stay again, but had a good time while we were there. Last thing, the bar and restaurant add tip, one server didn’t tell me at all throughout the day and one server did tell me. Should be up front about this.
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
The lobby of the hotel is really pretty, but the rooms aren’t very nice. We had a hard time getting our room cleaned, we were gone all day long from 9am to 4pm each day and then again in the evening from about 6pm to midnight, plenty of opportunity to have housekeeping clean. We had to ask multiple times for someone to clean our room and when they would come, they were very, very rude. You can also hear everything that is happening in the rooms next to you, what tv show they are watching, their conversation, EVERYTHING. Can we talk about the size of the pool? It’s very deceiving from the photos online and is literally a bath tub amongst dining tables. The front desk staff were really nice. I wouldn’t stay here again
- 1/5
The elevator didn't work a few times.

The Clinton Hotel had roaches in the room that my daughter and I were in. I am very dissatisfied with my stay. I will never book a room at the Clinton Hotel ever again.
- 5/5
They were very helpful and made sure i was accommodated.
- 3/5
Elevator had issues
- 3/5
Hotel was well managed and safe. Room was kind of small and would have liked for there to have been a microwave in the room. Bed was comfortable and was within walking distance of the beach and numerous restaurants. No parking and having to pay for it was an added cost that was a concern and should be noted by the hotel.
- 1/5
I love staying at this hotel! It's always clean & comfortable. The pool, dining and bar on site is always a plus!

The room was clean and nice. The hotel was a little bit on the older and kind of run downside but it was a super cute hotel! The pool is super small and you have to go through the restaurant to get to it- not a bad but just different. The breakfast isn’t a typical buffet it’s a restaurant which again is okay just different. I would
- 4/5
All was well but there were no wash clothes. This is our second visit, the first visit was the very same…odd!
- 3/5
The staff is really nice but the rooms aren’t the best, really old rooms which could use a deep clean and lacks basic amenities
- 5/5
Clean room & bathroom. Also, I loved the food at the restaurant that’s connected with the hotel
- 4/5
The area the hotel was in appeared to be a little unsafe . Homeless people on street. The hotel was close to the beach and other stores/restaurants. I would not feel safe walking around late unless with a large group. No parking in the area except on busy street. Plenty of Ubers in the area.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, two blocks from the beach
- 5/5
Didn’t eat or drink at the bar but from afar it looked amazing
- 1/5
OLD and DISGUSTING! I checked in and had dry blood on my sheets
- 5/5
Nice staff No parking. Beds felt uncomfortable. Elevator was malfunctioning. Tiny pool
- 1/5
Didn’t stay long enough to know
- 3/5
I’m 50/50 on Hotel Clinton. The place is sort of falling apart. Everything is breaking and seems old and decrepit. Including the elevator which is a little sketchy when half the buttons don’t work 99% of the time. The staff is super friendly at the front desk and we did like that they provided beach chairs and towels. Limonada was great and convenient to have connected to the hotel. I did not like that the only pool was connected to the public restaurant and it was super loud and cramped in there. The pool is also super tiny. Didn’t ever get to layout there. The location is convenient though.

One night stay. Welcoming and clean

Had mold in my room. Water leaking on the floor. Smelled of mold. Room was gross
- 5/5
It was a great stay! Warm welcome by Abigail
- 1/5
They never checked me in an charged me $139 on top of the Expedia charge for the prepaid room
- 3/5
We had to wait about 45 minutes for it to be fixed, which caused us to lose valuable time on our only day in Miami. I want to clarify that the staff member who came to fix it was kind and helpful, so this is not their fault. However, the hotel should properly check the rooms before assigning them to guests to avoid situations like this
- 3/5
Adding the upper sheet to the bed
- 4/5
The Clinton Hotel was a clean/quite place to stay. I had no issues except the shower only had body temp water making showering a cooling experience. The bed appeared to be worn out, but I was still able to get 6 hrs of sleep in it. I never ate there, but the bar staff was pleasant and friendly. The people at the counter were also very helpful

The location is terrific - easy walking to the beach, to shops, to restaurants, to museums, to all the gorgeous hotels. Really nice lobby area too.
- 4/5
The location is great. The pool is super small
- 5/5
Loved this hotel!! The location was perfect! I was greeted with prosecco and my room was early which was so nice. Have complimentary drinks for hotel stayers was amazing. The pool was empty and quiet. The food and drinks at the bar restaurant next door was so good - get the avocado toast! I really enjoyed my room with a king size bed - the bed was so comfortable. Would stay here again!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Miami Beach. Only a couple of blocks from ocean drive and the beach. Clean, great staff. We will absolute stay here again!

The property is old looking but I was told by a friend that all hotels are like that in Miami

Best location. Restaurants/shops/parking garage/ocean dr. All within walking distance
- 2/5
The lobby and pool area is nice. The walls are paper thin so you will hear your neighbor if they're talking in the night. There was one bed that was okay and the other was lumpy in our room. It was in a good location and would be a good option if you wanted to go budget.
- 4/5
Repetiremos
- 3/5
Nice near the night life action , but hotel is very old new renovation and more clean .
- 5/5
The room was good for two people. Lobby was fantastic. Concierge was really friendly and nice. Except the gentleman in the with the glasses who had an attitude after asking for a hot water. Overall recommend this hotel if you wanna stay in South Beach
- 5/5
Staff was so accommodating and it was clean!
- 4/5
Cool older art deco property but kept up pretty well, bed was very comfy, room was clean, the restaurant and bar attached was great, went almost everyday, patio is very chill with a small soaking pool, staff was really great, friendly, professional. Location is good, two blocks from Ocean drive.
- 3/5
The toilet would not flush. This was mended then the shower stopped working! This was fixed then on the ironing or departure it broke again! Meaning I had to leave on an international flight with out having a shower! Staff are great beds complete whole place is a little rough around the edges.
- 5/5
Great location. Walking distance to everything in South Beach. Check in staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit dated but beds were comfortable and absolutely fine for the price point!!
- 5/5
Location and amenities were great! Room was clean and staff was helpful.

The entire room was dirty with random bodily fluids on the walls, hair in our beds and not a single mirror. It was cute outside but the room was disgusting and not worth the price.

Hermoso hotel, muy cuidado, limpio, con habitaciones amplias e iluminadas. El personal muy atento.

Room was not as advertised, there is no valet , there are no microwaves anywhere, the headboard was made out of fabric and had an awful mildew smell to it or like it had been cleaned and not dried well. Bottom of frame was bleach it looked to be, fridge was leaking was told they would send someone to fix don’t know if anyone showed. T.v. Went out no one is able to fix at night so I had to wait for the morning staff to fix. Staff were pleasant though. Bathroom was Just not completed with the grout very well and was falling down every time I showered had to wear shower shoes the entire time it looked like a bad patch up job , bed was to soft to the point your sitting on the bed frame. The restaurant though was very accommodating and the staff was great and the food was delicious!
- 4/5
Very accommodating, would suggest , only downfall is check in process is super late and rooms kind of outdated.
- 5/5
This is my go to spot to stay on South Beach. The staff are always excellent, rooms always clean, service is great, & not to mention, The Limonada restaurant & bar connected has EXCELLENT food & service as well. If you're looking for a clean & comfortable dpot, this place is great. My ONLY complaint is the low lightinbin the bathrooms. They need brighter bulbs in the bathroom especially since thats the only mirror
- 5/5
It was quiet clean and comfortable cute decor. All the necessities you need great coffee. Really good location.
- 4/5
Friendly, accommodating staff and charming building. I did end up having to change hotels since there was a cold wave and this building doesn’t have heat, which wouldn’t be an issue 99% of the time in Miami but something to consider if visiting in the wintertime if nights will be chilly. There also are no microwaves, coffeepots or kettles available but a tiny mini fridge and pod-type coffee machine.
- 2/5
The hotel unfortunately did not have heat. While I understand it doesn’t get cold in Miami often, I do think that should be communicated when it’s forecasted to be 35° overnight during your stay. Not only that, but there was no hot water either. The shower was room temp at best which didn’t help at all since we were already freezing.
- 2/5
No hot water at the bathroom sink, window not fit to window frame leaving an open window, no bathroom rug, no chair in room, pictures online do not match actual hotel room.
- 5/5
Attentive and hospitable staff Sadly it was too cold to enjoy the small poolside restaurant but the temperature in the hotel maintained a comfortable stay
- 5/5
The room and staff were great! Loved this place and will be back
- 2/5
The room had mold in the bedding and visible stains on the towels. The lighting was also very dim. Overall, I came to the conclusion that this hotel is only suitable if you want to be close to the beach and for no other reason.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
The only thing we had an issue with was the lack of plugs in the room and only one side of the bed had a nightstand. All in all, it was a pleasent stay.
- 1/5
One night stayed for almost $400 that usually should be less than $70 ,no parking ,late check in early check out (anyway we checked out one hour early!) $2.50 for coffee pod !tv didn’t work anymore.
- 1/5

WARNING: The rooms in this hotel have NO HEAT. The "cool" setting on the thermostats have been disabled. We went there during a cold snap on New Year's Eve (40's at night, low 60's during the day) and the room was too cold. I slept with a sweater on. Other than that the hotel is OK, nothing to write home about. Tough to find a parking spot near the hotel but in downtown Miami that's probably par for the course. Rooms were clean and comfortable except for the heat issue. Bathrooms could use some attention but not so bad. But no heat? Gimme a break. It may be rarely used in South Florida, but it's still essential.
- 2/5
Bare minimum, outlets didn't work in the room, internet was also not working, very low shower pressure. Staff was great, but rooms not so much
- 3/5
The place is 3-star in my opinion. Can't say that I didn't like anything in particular, but not a super fancy place either. Perhaps my biggest comment was that the place wasn't worth the money that we paid for it. On the web it's rated and priced as 4-star, but it's definetely didn't match that expectation.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
Rooms clean and comfortable, staff very courteous and very nice.
- 4/5
The staff was very kind and helpful.
- 4/5
Nice clean modern room. Friendly staff. Convenient location to a dinner party we were going to. Great price.
- 2/5
Room service was terrible, we stayed 4 nights, they cleaned the room only once at 7 p.m. we were using the same towels for couple days, the garbage were there for few days, we had to use the baggs to pack the garbage and put it on the side. Also, they offered free drink every night, but the restaurant declined us as he is offering only white wine and we don't drink , the restaurant's menu has juices but refused to serve it.
- 3/5
Old hotel. Rooms need renovation. Elevator usually not working and very slow.
- 5/5
Great price nice location… stayed one night for my cruise port!
- 5/5
Everything was well organized, from check-in to check-out. The room comfort and overall ambiance made this a memorable stay. Location was great!!
- 5/5
I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The quality of service, attention to detail, and overall comfort were outstanding. It’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in offering a top-level guest experience.
- 5/5
From arrival to departure, everything was perfectly handled. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the hotel itself is stunning.
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to help with a genuine smile. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The overall atmosphere made my stay both relaxing and memorable.
- 5/5
Highly recommended. The rooms are spacious, modern, and extremely clean. A top-quality hotel.

The lift was disappointingly out of service - it had been for a month. Thankfully someone was available to take the bags up, but I had to take the suitcases down via the stairs, as no one was available to take the bags down. The mattress was a bit too soft and there wasn't much in the room in terms of toiletries. Apart from the bed, there wasn't any chairs in the room to sit on. Really, it's more of a 3*. The king sized bed is a decent size.
- 1/5
The pictures posted are all taken so close up that they feel deceiving upon arrival. The pool is so small! Blasting music every morning at 745 am wasnt in any bulletin posts nor was I informed during check in. Only positive, the staff was kind but not all fluent in english which made communication a tad challenging. Expedia we need to talk about refund on your end!
- 3/5
Overall it was a good hotel. We got to check in early with no fee, but the room was along a noisy alley. The hotel moved us to another room without any issue or pushback, which was nice. The attached bar had good entertainment, but closes early. The one complaint I have it the stair railing was painted one night and was poorly signed, so we got some paint on our clothes. Would recommend for a night or 2. Hotel is in a lively area with lots to see and eat. About 20 minute walk to the Lincoln mall, and 20 to South Point Park.
- 5/5
Even though I checked in early, they gave me my room right away. Normally, that's impossible in Miami. Everyone makes me wait until 3:00 PM even though they have rooms, but not at this hotel. If they have a room available, they give me your room right away so you can enjoy your day. I'll be a regular at this hotel from now on. Coming from New York, it was exceptional hospitality. Thank you so much for your wonderful welcome, Samantha, who works in the lobby. You are a wonderful team.
- 2/5
Repairs in the building since early am hours Very thin walls can hear neighbors snoring and walking
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was friendly. But coffee in the room is not. First hotel ever where it wasn't complementary. Bit of surprise on checking out. Location is good.
- 5/5
I rarely do a review, but the staff is amazing, genuinely kind and helpful. Very welcoming and lovely group of staff. Will definitely stay here again. It’s close to the beach too, and the brunch area is delicious
- 5/5
Room was very clean, staff was very nice. The elevator was down on my visit.
- 5/5
Very helpful desk clerks, samamdha and riley both at 3 am and 11 am.
- 4/5
Staff was great very friendly, helpful. Older building wasn’t dirty but very dated. Pool was in bar area. Needed it for 1 night so it was perfect for our needs and great location to beach, ocean and Collin’s and close to parking garage.
- 5/5
Super clean and friendly staff. Perfect location. Close to the beach.
- 5/5
Elevator was not working and front desk lady offered a 1st floor room alternative that my wife was appreciative due to her knee surgery recovery.
- 4/5
Clean room, very nice ad helpful staff, location is great
- 5/5
Cleanliness. Staff was nice. Great location
- 4/5
We never got are room done. It was clean before we got there. But is was not done the second da day we stayed 2 nights
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was welcoming, and the pool area was super cute. Location of the hotel was great for the price!
- 2/5
Nothing in booking said no on site parking. Because I used hotels.com to book I was charged a $39 resort fee. Pic I provided is of the door stop they mounted in floor not on wall. Bathroom door opens out. My last trip into the bathroom I came out and stubbed my foot into it. I oeft next morning for a cruise and didnt have time to see if i could find an urgent care. I did wjen i arrived back home last night to find that I had fractured a toe pretty bad. No reason a door stop should be installed on a floor. Front desk clerk at check in very helpful with telling me where nearest 24 hour garage was to park. A lot of hidden fees in this booking and hotels.com needs to be more transparent with it
- 4/5
The positives: The staff was excellent. I unfortunately had a lot of special requests due to my disability and they did all they could to make things easy and comfortable, especially when the elevator was not working. They even sent staff up to clean my room the first night after cleaning crew had left. The location is great! Super close to lots of souvenir shops, grocery, shopping and food. 5 minutes to the beach! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Bed was a little soft. Bathroom was not well equipped.
- 5/5
Excellent costumer service. Really convenient area near restaurants and stores. Short walk to the beach.
- 5/5
Love this hotel. I will be returning back.
- 5/5
Staff was great, breakfast was a restaurant instead of the typical yogurt/waffle buffet, and you can get seats for the beach. Super close to the beach and shopping/restaurants
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very attentive. Housekeeping was excellent, as my room was always clean and tidy. Breakfast at Limonada is excellent, with a great menu and excellent quality food and excellent service.
- 3/5
Terrible bed, staff ok, not very well manteined
- 2/5
I typically don’t do less favorable reviews but…. We checked in early and our room wasn’t ready… we had to call several times for towels … we missed our reservation twice and an important business meeting due to the fact we couldn’t get ready in a timely manner due to the towels and elevator not working! We had to take stairs due to the elevator was down often and at 1 point my friend was stuck in it for 30 minutes never mind the fact she’s a veteran with cloister phobia and ptsd! The fire department could barely get out!!! We received NO apology No are you ok? Nothing!!! But our resort fee of 79$ This was definitely not the relaxing trip we were in so need of ! My friend was traumatized soooo bad she would only take the stairs for the remainder of our stay! We had to book an extra 2 days due to the weather smh rather than giving us the same room we had to get a different room… which was fine but it wasn’t ready till almost 9 pm due to their staff shortages… we finally got in our room and we still had no towels again and had to walk 3 flights again to get towels. I typically love this hotel buuuuuttttt not this visit.Hopefully they get help aswell as better customer service!

Absolutely stunning! The property is well maintained and beautiful. The room smell fresh and the linens/towels are crisp and white. The safe was so friendly and helpful. Their entire demeanor was welcoming. The complimentary happy drinks were very good and a nice touch. The pool area was clean and inviting. Lap pool was cute and picturesque. I will 100% be back and highly recommend.

Staff were welcoming and informative. Property was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
The staff is very kind and collaborative, I want to make a special mention for Samantha and Christian, they are very solve issues oriented people, also Andrei (Lemonade’ supervisor). The room was clean, quiet and the mattress is excellent for rest and sleep. We enjoy our vacation on South Beach and these people make it possible. Thank you!!!

Abigail front desk staff member is the BEST!

Great clean hotel, convenient location!

Bathroom needs to be cleaner. Especially the shower needs new grout.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!

Check-In was great and overall experience was awesome. My only complaint was beds were to soft, need firmness. Came down for my Dads 99th Birthday.

It was alright

It was alright
- 4/5
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is not a buffet but you have a set menu to choose from though there is a good variety and the food was very good. Great location to the south beach, the bars and restaurants, and also easy to get transport to other parts of Miami. Room had what was needed but could be updated a bit
- 3/5
The bed frame was bleached maybe? I don’t know, it was not all grey. The restroom curtains had black stains on it.
- 1/5
First of all I did not know I will need to pay extra fee after I payed for my room for 1 day stay and no parking lot at the hotel you have to park in the street or 2 block from the hotel !!! Secondly the room was ok but the bathroom had hair in the shower no Netflix, no other channels to choose in the tv . They need major repairs and change. Why have carpet on the hallway !! Is gross and is to hot to have this in Miami !!! The Candies and the water in the room look very old need new one after each coustumer leave . This is terrible and insane !! Anyway I got my money that’s the most important thing!!

We also experienced a very disappointing with the front desk as I inquired about transportation options for traveling to the cruise port the next morning , we were told that Uber would not pick us up at the location of the Hotel( which was a lie as we saw others being picked up at the Hotel by Uber as we were walking out to our Taxi) , so I asked about a Taxi and was told that she would call one to be at the Hotel the next morning. The next morning , a Taxi was there ( or what I thought was a taxi) and was told the cost would range from 20- 40 dollars for a ride to the cruise port , on arrival to the cruise port I was told that the cost would be 95 dollars because this person was a private luxury car service and when I told him I have requested a taxi, he kept telling me he was a luxury car service - it was a beat up old suv that do not look nor smell luxury. I feel taken advantage of as I made myself very clear that I was wanting a taxi not a car service, I feel like the Hotel and this luxury car service knew exactly what they were doing. We have many friends and family that are traveling to Miami to board cruises , I have shared our experience with them and told anyone to not stay at Clinton South Beach Hotel.

The experience was great, even got an early check-in. The staff was great. The rooms were kind of small, but overall the stay was good.
- 3/5
The air conditioning in our room was incredibly loud. The pool area was not clean. Some of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and others were not.
- 2/5
They do have roaches
- 5/5
Area around is fantastique walk side in Ocean drive, many restaurants around the place I recommend this nice hotel for relaxing time close to the beach without even need to drive of find a parking. Nice hotel and friendly stuff
- 4/5
I liked everything about the hotel
- 5/5
Front staff was amazingly friendly. I would book again
- 3/5
Good location but a very basic lodging option. I guess it was expensive because we came during spring break but Miami made sure there weee no spring break activities anywhere near South Beach.

Great property, Great location

Good location
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
The Front desk ladies are amazing!!! one with glasses. Memorial weekend was awful. Housekeeping amazing! Pool with low water level. Ok stay :)
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Josie and Daniella were THE BEST. There was a very welcoming vibe and my son felt happy at this hotel. Convenience stores/grocery/fast food and restaurants were a quick walk and he felt safe going even between midnight and 2 am. Would highly recommend The Clinton to anyone!!!
- 4/5
Hotel is great for location and comfort, but it does not have a mivrowave, elevator beike down during stay, and the furniture is a little outdated. Otherwise, great aervice, location (steps away from South beach) and I'd stay again!!

👍👍

The elevator was slow, and the dim lighting was kinda creepy. The staff were more than accommodating and very friendly! Hotel was clean and gives complimentary drinks!

- 4/5

- 5/5
Good stay
- 5/5
We had a good stay there
- 1/5
They had roaches and nets and kept my deposit
- 2/5
Lazy staff, the lady at the front desk told me to DoorDash bottled water. No towels. Pool is awful.
- 5/5
One of its major advantages is its close proximity to Lummus beach, located just two blocks away. The staff's exceptional kindness, understanding, and provision of beach towels as part of the resort fee were impressive, although umbrellas were not included. The pool and elevator, while somewhat smaller, were fully operational. The rooms were extremely clean, with daily room service available, unless otherwise requested. Although the breakfast options may have been slightly limited, the overall quality was excellent, served from 8-11 am ET. Additionally, the hotel's location, with numerous restaurants and stores nearby, was highly convenient. I would certainly stay here at this hotel again, if visiting south beach.
- 5/5
I had a great trip. Mostly everything is walking distance from the beach to the restaurants and Walgreens.
- 2/5
Door at room are slamming all day and night and in need of a stopper and walls are so thin that u hear ur neighbors snoring
- 5/5
Our room was large and featured a separate sitting area, providing plenty of space to relax. There were lots of cupboards to hide away our belongings, which was a nice touch. The location is fantastic, with a very short walk to South Beach and all the excitement it brings. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
- 1/5
The overall experience was so bad that we plan to reach out to expedia for a full refund.
- 2/5
Hotel is clean but extremely noisy and it seems like the walls are made of paper and doors slamming all night and all day
- 4/5
It was basic. Loud during the day
- 4/5
Staff were great...good location
- 1/5
The property needs renovations very much. Carpets and walls look very poorly managed.
- 3/5
The hotel may be a good fit for college or university kids but travelling with kids or on your own where sleeping over night is the goal, this is not a good fit. The lobby was super loud up to 3 a.m. and the walls are extremely thin. Also if you're looking for a pool, I would not say that the pool at this hotel is true to the photographs online. It's the size of 4-5 beach chairs long and about 5 feet wide. Hardly what I would call a pool for a hotel charging the rates that it is.
- 3/5
It was a bug on my pillow the toilet won’t flush
- 5/5
It was a very nice place..staff was fantastic..Beds comfortable ..and loved the place to eat next door. Lemonade..I will recommend big time.
- 3/5
The staff were friendly and kind. The daily happy hour was a nice touch.
- 5/5
Staff was really pleasant and helpful.
- 4/5
Was cute
- 5/5
Really cute Hotel and the hospitality is great!
- 5/5
It was nice that everyone was friendly and it was close to the beach. And it was really clean and quiet.
- 4/5
It was in a great location to walk to the beach, variety of food and entertainment close by. Downfall was the parking but the garage one block was convenient and reasonable
- 3/5
The $35/day resort fee was a bit of a head scratcher.
- 1/5
We are not local, so we had already arrived in the area and were left scrambling to rearrange our plans. We had to pay for Ubers unnecessarily, and on top of that, we purchased a day beach pass at the original hotel—completely unaware that we would have had free beach access at South Beach. The entire situation was disorganized and stressful. It has now been two days and I have yet to hear back from the manager, Joseline, or anyone else from the hotel. No follow-up, no apology, and no accountability for the inconvenience and extra costs they caused. This experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Poor communication, poor customer service, and absolutely no regard for guests who plan and pay in advance.
- 5/5
And quiet
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. Will definitely return.
- 1/5
Terrible hotel if if you like to sleep at night. Rooms smell musty,
- 1/5
Fight broke out in the room next door at 3:30 amwe listened to that for a hour before the police came, then we listened to them fight while packing their room up for another hour. Finally fell back to sleep then maintenance started doing repairs very loudly at 7am! The next morning I got to sleep until 6:45 am before the fire alarm went off.
- 1/5
I disliked the stay altogether. No phone on the room. No hot water in the bathroom sink. Tv not working or staggering . Sheets not cleaned . Weird smell.
- 5/5
We arrived early and the kind lady at the desk was able to get us situated instead of waiting till 4pm ( we didn’t expect it but it was nice either way) . Great location for walking around & plenty of convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. Only down (minor) was we didn’t get wash rags in our room. Only two towels. A quick call should fix this problem.
- 1/5
I checked out early because I was so furious the lack of respect the hotel gave to other guests. I was promised twice a manager will respond in some way but that didn't happen, of course!
- 3/5
Hotel was reasonably nice. It was quite loud as we were on the first floor near the lobby which was really not ideal. Don't see that layout much at other hotels. The pool is very small and doesnt seem like it get's used as it's basically in the middle of a restaurants patio that is attached to the hotel. They did give a free happy hour drink there each day which was nice but if you're looking to sit by the pool it's not really that type of place. Great location.
- 1/5
The beds are low and horrible.they never left hand or face towels in the room language barrier with front desk staff.lady sleeping in the lobby early in the morning
- 5/5
It was great! Very clean!
- 5/5
Very cute boutique hotel! Gave us Rose at checkin- the little pool and brunch area called Limonada were so cute!

No parking
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean.
- 5/5
A great vibe!!
- 1/5
It is filthy. Cockroaches in our room.
- 2/5
It is a hotel that needs renovation. The furniture is chipped, the mattress has dips where I sinked down, the sofa is stained, there were broken glass pieces on the floor, and there were no hand towels or towels to use after showering. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception, and we took a long time to check in until someone opened for us. They charge you for Beach Service, and they only give you a beach towel. It needs a lot of improvement
- 4/5
The Clinton was nice but the surrounding area was a little dirty and tacky. It didn’t seem safe to be out after the sun set and people were still hanging out. We didn’t get to explore ocean drive like planned because of it.

Roaches and very noisy.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 2/5
The low price of this property suggests that it’s going to be a little bit unusual as far as service and of course they got me. It cost me over $100 to go to the port of Miami in the TAXI that they aligned for me.
- 2/5
We arrived at 11:50Pm, could not do check in because front office went to buy dinner. Asked for breakfast,, since we paid for. Front guy told us that there was not such a thing, we could go anytime for a free breakfast/lunch/ dinner at next door restaurant. Next morning front desk told us we were late and l not telling the truth. We had a witness so they will ask manager. Manager never came to work. Day before we leave because we asked, they said that they will reimburse us, never happened. Mattress are very hard. Noise from downstairs restaurant starts at 9Am. bathroom doors are slate closets doors, no privacy at all. balcony sealed, so there is not ventilation. Hallways, not ventilated have strong weed smell. Elevator is very- very slow. Place 2 start at most. At nights streets walkers meet at the corner pizzeria.

So it's sobe... do the tourist thing and get it out of your system as I doubt I'll be back. For the price, this place was ok. The people working there are great and really helpful but the place bills you out like its a Spa. It's not a spa. The pool is a big as a hot top but without heat. There is a cafe right next door that jams the music starting friday morning and it surrounds the tiny pool. The rooms are really small but the pillows, beds and sheets are comfy. I would have given it 5 stars for comfort but they had no microwave as was shown in the room pictures. The street rooms are noisy with crappy thin old windows. The bathroom was large enough and fairly nice with plenty of hot water but low on pressure. The hotel is centrally located and on a less busy street. It's easy to get to collins or the beach and all of the partying. Right down washington is a turkish restaurant to die for! Great food! Parking is right around the corner on 7th and $20 per day.

The bed are horrible. Good luck trying to get a good nights sleep. I wish i could leave no stars. The hotel itsis loud and next to a very bad neighborhood. Drug dealers outside and homeless people are often waiting outside to harass you. I wish i could get a refund beautiful it was thag awful. The staff was nice but most barely spoke english as well.
- 2/5
Additionally, the pictures on Hotels.com are misleading and don't even come close to the actual state of the property. The five star reviews on the website seem to be fake, possibly written by people/trolls who didn’t even stay at the hotel, as they were all 5 star reviews from Mexico. I didn’t see a single Mexican guest during my time there, and the whole situation felt fishy. I regret staying here and will be pursuing a refund for my troubles.
