Reviews
Guests consistently praise the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the beautiful and clean rooms at this hotel. The location is also a highlight, with close proximity to the beach and a variety of dining and nightlife options. However, some guests have noted that the rooms are on the smaller side and there have been issues with noise from neighboring rooms or the street.

Pros * Excellent South Beach location close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. * Charming Art Deco style with lots of personality. * Rooms are clean, well maintained, and feel fairly new. * Friendly and helpful staff. * Good-sized bathroom. * Street noise was minimal for the area. Cons * Rooms are quite small with limited storage. * There was scaffolding outside our window and we weren’t advised of it before the booking. * Music from the restaurant below can be be heard until fairly late at night. * The air conditioner rattles on certain settings. * Housekeeping staff frequently let the supply room door slam throughout the day. While this may not bother everyone, it made it difficult to enjoy a quiet afternoon rest or nap between activities. * The mattress seemed past its prime and could use replacing. * The one-ply toilet paper felt cheap, and no extra roll was provided. We had to call the front desk for more.

The location was perfect. The beach is moments away. The rooftop pool is extremely nice, as are the sunbeds there. The staff are great generally. The staff in the rooftop pool charged me automatic gratuity of 20% without showing me my itemised bill, then brought me a card machine to pay with tipping options listed on it. I would have liked the staff to be consciously more transparent about automatic gratuity where applied.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very helpful. Shout out to the Director of Housekeeping who brought us extra robes at the hotel pool. It's the extra care that makes a difference.

Such a beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect, from the staff, room and location. Can’t wait to come back

We had a rough experience at the Esme. Our room was filthy. I walked around and my feet were dirty just from getting settled in. When I went to speak with the staff, they were not helpful at all. I tried to see if we could switch rooms and then finally just said I was going to need to switch hotels. They wouldn't help with any sort of refund or anything. Very disappointed and would not recommend this location.

Everything in stay great... location and area attractions. Was a little disappointed that the front desk or housekeeping didn't deliver my platinum benefit (bottle of wine) even after bringing to their attention. Not sure what happened. Otherwise all good

Location was perfect. And the hotel embodied old school Miami art-deco. The rooms are much smaller than what the pictures make them appear to me. The website advertises daily workout classes and rooftop, complementary drinks, neither of those are offered in real life. Misleading.

The Esme is one of my favorite hotels in Miami. It’s the second year in a row I choose them for my birthday, and they never disappoint. The rooftop looks great, the restaurants are all excellent and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. They make me feel like I’m at home.

The hotel is unique and fun, and in a great location. We were only there for 2 nights but would definitely go back.
- 4/5
Themed was comfortable however room was cramped. Great shower and loved the toiletries Staff were great, responsive when we needed something. They held our luggage. Complimentary drink at Drexel’s was great and complimentary loungers and towels at the beach. Pool area is great however pool is a little small. Love the village feel and art deco styling. The room is very small - the extra large bed took up too much space. The bar is expensive. The Drexel restaurant is really good however expensive. Didn’t think it was value for money however that is most of South Beach. Miami as awesome as it is.

My experience was very disappointing. The staff was consistently rude and unhelpful with every request, creating an unwelcoming environment. Because of this, I will not be staying here again.

Great location and a stylish, trendy hotel. The room and overall premises were very clean, and the staff were generally very helpful. Although the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it was great to start the day with a coffee and a bite to eat on the peaceful rooftop. Overall stay was great but few areas that could be improved. I booked a standard room which, although comfortable, felt quite dark due to the limited lighting; there was only a small dim bedside lamp and the windows could not be opened, making the room feel a little claustrophobic and stuffy at times. The lift in the building was out of service throughout my stay and, despite having a heavy suitcase, I was neither informed upon arriving nor offered assistance. While the room was only on the first floor, this could have been a real issue for guests with limited mobility. In addition, some members of staff came across as unfriendly and "could not be bothered" attitude".
- 3.5/5
Perfect location, kind staff, free bikes for 2hrs, beach chairs & towel, free drinks per day at the restaurant, beautiful pool area & newly renovated gym. It seems the room we stayed in was newly renovated, which was lovely but some of the work was done quite badly (paint splattered, uneven shower tiles, stained sink) Also the walls are extremely thin & didn’t enjoy the neighbours checking in at 11pm as-well as the children’s school behind the building during the day.

I would ask a bit more about the amenities there was a lot more to offer then we were explained upon check in. Fantastic hotel close to the beach and once you figured out what they have it’s a great place.

We loved the history behind this property! It felt like people had lived there. Totally enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
The room was very clean but extremely small.
- 4.5/5
We were really surprised with the amount of facilities and extra touches like free bikes, sunbeds on the beach, rooftop pool, on-site coffee shop and multiple bars and restaurants within the hotel courtyard area. It really was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at, the interior design is gorgeous and so well done. It was a lovely stay. The only downside to our stay was the lack of customer service and friendliness from some of the hotel staff, which was quite disappointing given how lovely the hotel itself is. Upon check-in, we noticed that the room we were given didn’t match the photos or room type we had booked. The room matched the Classic King photos, whereas we had specifically booked the Superior Queen room (the pink room shown in the photos). When I went to reception to clarify this, I was unfortunately met with a fairly dismissive attitude from one of the female staff members, who barely looked up during the conversation and interrupted me while I was explaining the issue. We were made to feel a little silly for referencing the “pink room,” when in reality our concern was simply that the listing and photos were misleading, and we had effectively been placed in a lower-category room at a cheaper rate than what we had paid for. If we had wanted the Classic King room, we would have booked that option. Thankfully, the hotel manager later stepped in and handled the situation professionally. He was apologetic, changed our room to the one that matched the booking photos, and checked in with us afterwards, which we genuinely appreciated. In fact, he was the only member of staff during our stay who came across as particularly warm and welcoming. Aside from that, most interactions with hotel staff felt quite blunt, and even at check-out we weren’t asked how our stay had been. It’s a beautiful hotel with fantastic facilities, and a friendlier, more attentive approach from some of the staff would have made a huge difference to the overall experience. That said, the staff over at The Drexel were absolutely lovely - all of the waiters and waitresses we encountered there were friendly and welcoming.
- 5/5
Esme was lovely and the staff was kind, warm and thoughtful. We had a great time, expect to return and highly recommend Esme. Also, special shout out to the front desk staff (especially Alex and the newest team member — a lady whose name I’m forgetting). She (the new staff member) was so very welcoming, kind and is an asset to Esme. Alex is a super star! We’re super grateful for the stay.

The location, and the check in staff The wifi never worked in my room I had to hot spot my phone the whole time. Breakfast was very limited, and the service not great they kept forgetting my coffee. But the check in staff were amazing
- 4/5
Absolutely loved the rooftop, it was one of the best parts of the stay. Also loved the daily happy hour drink at The Drexel. This property was super cute, and in a great location, only a few blocks from the beach, and a few blocks from some great restaurants. The room we stayed in was tiny. We had one king bed, with a small armoire, with very little space around for laying out our (carry-on size) suitcases. The room, however, was very well appointed, and honestly still quite comfortable regardless.

Great location. It’s a 3 star property so wasn’t expecting something amazing but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The wifi was terrible. We could barely access it and we needed it for our work. We asked staff and they said yes it’s known to be terrible. You needed to access an intro page to be given access and this happened rarely. Also lots of noise in the hallways. Walls are paper thin. People coming in at all hours talking and laughing definitely wake you up.

The Esme is my new favorite hotel in Miami. Stunning property, cozy, charming rooms with history and style … not generic. The staff is beyond lovely and friendly. We had a minor issue and they took excellent care of us. The location is fabulous. As a former South Beach resident, I know the area well, and the location near Espanola Way has a fantastic vibe with spectacular people-watching and great food options and you’re only a 3-min walk from the best part of South Beach. As a hotel guest, you get free chairs and towels which is a huge bonus. I am so happy to have discovered this special gem. I will definitely be bank and highly recommend!

The property is lovely and in a very cool location. Lots of great restaurants and easy walking to the beach. The room was clean, and the staff were all incredible. The room was VERY small. Like there was almost no where to put things other than on top of the bed. There also were no chairs on the balcony so we had booked the room to enjoy the outside if possible but we couldn't even sit there.

Great Location, the staff is super nice and the lobby smells GREAT ! The Sunshine Coffee place in the lobby is excellent. The rooms are small and the pool is even smaller, so if you are looking for a big resort type pool, not the place. If you want a great location, with comfy beds and amazing restaurants right outside your door, stay here !
- 4/5
Great hotel, I have stayed previously. Rooms are small but cosy and clean. The food is great on the roof. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, there is a lot of noise from the restaurants below, and street traffic. If that is not something that bothers you its a great place to stay for a reasonable price. Jimmy the bellmen was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The Esme Miami did not dissapoint. From the beautiful room with an amazing balcony, to the staff. Everyone was do friendly and helpful. The food at each of the restaurants was great. The roof top pool and bar was a great way to end the evening. My daughter and I were there for a girls trip and definitely will be back
- 5/5
Property was immaculate and in a great location!
- 5/5
The hotel is stylish and smells incredible. Our room was quiet, dark, and very small, a pleasant contrast to the bright and boisterous surroundings outside. It was workable considering we didn’t spend much time there, with easy access to the beach (chairs provided), bikes one day, shopping, dining, and comfortable lounges on the roof deck.
- 5/5
The room was on the small side, but very comfortable. It was clean and the King size bed was comfortable. The staff at the hotel were outstanding. The hotel was in a great location close to restaurants, shops, the beach and a great walking/ bike path along the beach.
- 4/5
Most of the staff were great, though at check in, a gentleman was quite snooty and rubbed us the wrong way. Apart from that, everything was great. Fantastic location and pretty hotel. Will stay again.
- 5/5
I will start with the cons which are very few but just want to be transparent. The walls between rooms and the hallway are thin. we could hear kids running through the hallway very loudly and when someone was walking past our door in conversation you can hear every word. thankfully our wall neighbors weren't loud but any noise that happened, we could hear clearly, so just be aware. The area and outside noise was non existent though, It was very cozy and quiet and the night life at the restaurants underneath us was NOT a problem. the only other cons was the pool area was not very clean, there was wads of hair on the wet floor all around the pool and dirty towels in places. For the pros! the staff was SOOO kind and helpful. They did anything we asked or needed from storing our bags to smooth check in and an easy check out. The aesthetic and decor is beautiful and the lobby, halls, rooms, and courtyard are clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was small but it was perfect for what we needed. we had clean towels and comfy cozy robes that we used every night! The water pressure was great and the showers were clean and amazing. the rooftop bar had AMAZING drinks! We also got food by the pool while we laid out and the service was good and food tasted fresh. Esme also provides free beach chairs which we enjoyed. Overall our stay was a 9/10 & we would recommend!! They made our trip to Miami amazing and provided everything we could've needed.
- 4/5
I did not have breakfast but the happy hour experience at Drexel was great!
- 3/5
The property itself is charming. The location is in the middle of great restaurants. The rooms are SMALL. The rooftop pool is nice as well, but we only went up to check it out and had a shot at the bar. We did have a few mishaps. Our shower was out of soap and we didn’t know until we were in the shower. Our phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call the desk. They took care of those things after we went downstairs. Our air conditioner stopped working during the day and we called to let them know. They said they would have someone up, we returned at 11pm to an 80 degree room. The young man at the desk was overwhelmed with guest issues and it took over an hour to get some type of resolution. At midnight we had to pack all of our things and we were put in an even smaller room and told to explain what happened to the desk in the am. They offered us a refund of one nights resort fee of $40ish dollars. After the manager called me back we were upgraded to a suite as a resolution for our last nights stay which I accepted, but to my understanding my reservation through Expedia was eligible for an upgrade if available anyway and a bottle of wine that we never received. Overall hotel experience…eh.

A Hidden little gem
- 3/5
Room was very small and looking tired, needs refurbishing, great location, staff helpful, arrived from cruise very early, check in staff sorted a room for us which was great as it allowed us to explore Ocean drive and enjoy the day. Room would benefit from better lighting as it was really dark. Balcony was small, standing only.

Juan Pablo made us feel so welcome! This is a gem in Miami Beach, we have no complaints whatsoever, we just wished that our room had black outs, our window was towards East and the sunlight hit directly at it at 6:30am. Hopefully next time we can get a different room with the windows oriented West...

This was my third stay at Esme and I must say - I truly do love staying at this property. Each visit I find some new hidden cove, an upgrade, an addition - there's always something new. This trip was a quick getaway with my sister and we always look forward to the boutiqueness of the property, a new restaurant experience on Espanola Way, so it's always a pleasure.
- 5/5
Wonderful front desk who are very helpful and have a good sense of humour. Beautifully designed, very glamorous. Great area - you really feel in the middle of the buzz. But we didn't hear any noise that doaturbed our nights sleep.
- 5/5
We loved staying at the Esme. Fantastic Miami Beach location with access the beach and great restaurants. Really nice staff and we enjoyed the roof top access for drinks.
- 5/5
Excellent location! Such a cute property and great amenities. 2 blocks walk to the ocean, walking distance to almost anything you could want to do.

Sophie the front desk manager was so professional and helpful. She even helped me book my uber to the airport. I will always return to the Esmé
- 5/5
Everything is a walking distance it’s in the most perfect area!
- 5/5
This hotel and its location is hard to beat. We've stayed at the Esme multiple times and it just keeps getting better.
- 5/5
The only drawbacks were that the rooms are very small, and the airconditioning in my room didn't work very well. It would not go below 71 degrees. Had there not been a ceiling fan in the room, I would have been very hot.
- 3/5
GOOD LOCATION BUT DATED PROPERTY.
- 3/5
This boutique property is in a great location. Do take note it's in a very lively area. We found that to be good, lots of restaurants nearby, but if you want quiet, I wouldn't stay here. The rooms are tiny. Very cute and decorated well, but they are almost doll-house size. And we are small people. We did upgrade to the "better" category room, but I was shocked when I walked in. You open the door and take 2 steps and are at the edge of the bed. We found it challenging to find space for our suitcases but made it work for 3 nights. Again, perfect for one or two nights stay, but I wouldn't stay longer. Try out The Drexel restaurant - excellent food! And we enjoyed the complimentary beach cruiser bikes.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Incredible staff! Very friendly and engaging. Rooms were a little small, but very clean. Great location. Near restaurants and a short walk to the beach.
- 4/5
Location is prime for doing all things SOBE. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, and the water was off for a few hours the day we were leaving. All in all, I would stay again.
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Location was near local areas walkable distance. Very accommodating hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms a little small, but very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend.
- 2/5
The design of the hotel is beautiful, the staff are nice, but there’s absolutely no sound proofing. Guest shouting loud in the hallway and constant door slamming in the middle of the night is ridiculous. Under the room door there was no rubber stopper or something so there was a 1inch gap for all noise to travel through. Very odd.
- 5/5
Generally lovely hotel and great staff!
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Well decorated. Great vibe. Great staff. One definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The hotel is well designed and in a good location. That being said, our room carpet was really dirty and a lot of noise bled into the rooms making it hard to sleep.
- 4/5

- 3/5
The check in and check out procees was slow (only one person ever at the front desk)
- 3/5
My shower was cold. They said they fixed it but it did not ever get hot over the 5 days I was there. My tv was not working well.
- 4/5
The room was clean but quite small, even though we upgraded to a Superior King. The bed was comfortable and the amenities seemed good. Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to take advantage of them. Two blocks from the beach and in the middle of lots of South Beach restaurants and bars.
- 5/5
great location, lovely amenities, everything you need around you and just a walk from the beach. I would go back for sure
- 2/5
Our room was dark and dingy. The walls were a dark, maroon color and the lighting was so poor. We had to use your flashlight to find things in the closet. After a morning hike, we had hoped to have a rest in the room but the door to the room with the cleaning supplies in the second floor, continually banged in aloud fashion.
- 5/5
The staff was very courteous, and the room was clean

STAY AWAY from this place. Terrible experience. The furniture quality is awful — I stayed for one night over Christmas and the bed literally collapsed in the middle of the night. I was moved to a different room that was not what I originally booked. When I asked for a refund, I was told I would get $145 back, which turned out to just be the $100 security deposit plus a $45 property fee. They stopped responding to my messages afterwards.

We had a lovely stay with the Eseme. Front desk staff was kind and helpful, answering any questions we had and attending to our specific needs. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The location in South Beach was great. Right in the middle of everything, we were able to bike or walk everywhere we went, but not loud and too touristy. The property itself was very inviting.

- 4/5
Beautiful place. Great location. Tpiket wouldn't flush. Ran all night. Door needs to be oiled. Carpet needs to be cleaned. Coffee pot leaks.
- 5/5
They are rated Michelin for a reason. Clean. Very accommodating staff.
- 5/5
The location is perfect, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Staying at The Esmé was absolutely amazing experience.
- 5/5
Gabriel was fantastic! He went out of his way during our stay! We would definitely stay at the Esme, but get a bigger room as it was small. The bathroom size was fine, but not the live in area.
- 5/5
Beautiful boutique hotel, centrally located, close to wonderful restaurants, bars, retail, and, of course, THE BEACH!
- 5/5
staff were especially kind!
- 5/5
Amazing experience at this hotel! Rooms were small but elegant in an old money sort of way. Bed was made daily and an in-room espresso machine made for a relaxing morning. Rooftop pool and beautiful Spanish-Mediterranean style throughout the property made it quaint. Perfect location- close to Española Way with excellent cultural dining experiences- 2 blocks from the beach and lots of shopping/dining within walking distance in all directions. 2 free drinks nightly, free 2-hour bike rental, and free beach chair and towel rental. Friendly staff including great convo with head of housekeeping who asked if there was anything she could do to make our room better. Would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
Gorgeous and has many things to offer
- 5/5
The room is very small, with a compact bathroom, but it is gorgeous and serviced daily. Comfortable bedding. Excellent water pressure and no issues with hot water. Staff is very friendly and highly professional.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved the Esmé Miami Beach. What a quaint hotel right at the action and nightlife of Española Way but our room was quiet and didn’t hear the noise. Restaurants and bakeries literally at your doorstep. A few blocks to Miami Beach and Collins and Ocean Drive. Rooms are small but we aren’t staying for the room. Do wish there were more hooks in the washroom. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, including front desk, bellman and poolside. Hotel decor was cute, very close to great restaurants in Espanola Way
- 3/5
Customer service was great, but the bed had a blood stain and we didn’t notice till we got ready for bed. Was so grossed out and it was so late, we just slept on the comforter and got out at 6 in the morning to go find anew hotel.
- 5/5
Clean beautifully decorated room with two balconies overlooking Espanola Way with great dinning and shopping walkable distances.
- 5/5
Very nice room, the staff was super helpful, and the location was perfect.
- 4/5
Clean. Nice room. Well located for my meeting. Friendly staff.
- 2/5
And hotel had charges that exceeded what I paid Expedia and I did not use any of hotel services and noting from mini bar
- 5/5
Staff was great and super friendly! Best location and super fun!
- 4/5
My only note for the stay is that the rooftop pool area was under renovation to make it hurricane proof (which is very understandable). I would’ve liked a heads up for the confirmation message informing this. Staff was very friendly and accommodated for other options for pool access and lounge at partnered hotel facility.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. I loved being able to get a cooler filled with ice to take to the beach. Beach chairs and towels being provided was awesome also.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
It is art Deco. The 3ft wide closest had a fridge on the bottom. Above a coffee maker on a slide. (( I am 5ft 3) I could not pull this out and safely make a coffee or tea. Above this there was a safe. Which I could not see into unless stood on side of bed. There was no table and chair in the room. The bed was the only safe seat. There was a covered stool but only one and it wobbled . In the bathroom a 3 inch shelf that run under the mirror and no hooks for face towels in the shower. And only 2 outside. So you could not really unpack unless an overnight bag so there for 7 nights was totally inadequate. The pool was being repaired apparently had been like this for over 3 months. And you would have to catch a free trolley or walk 4 blocks to a hotel who would let you use their pool which was tiny. The room was meant to be a double deluxe but one queen was pushed so far against the window curtains could not be opened and you could not see our. Between the two beds only one person could walk at a time to the small bedside table. For the cost it not worth it was extremely disappointed and did not find this value for money at all
- 3/5
All the outlets in the left night stand does not work. There was mold and mildew in the grout and shower door. Very tight space. Had to pay a resort fee when we didn't use the facilities. Could have been better. Water pressure was good, towels were fast absorbing, and fast elevator. This place needs major renovating.
- 5/5
This place is as cool a vibe as you can find on the beach.
- 5/5
Very good staff at a clean, safe and friendly hotel.
- 5/5
The only recommendation I would make is not to list the free bottle of wine per stay if it is no longer offered. The free drinks at the Drexel may have been the substitution.
- 5/5
Love everything about the property. Only the breakfast got boring because of the same options everyday. Also, being a vegetarian, I had limited options like fruits, oatmeal, bread that's all! Everything else contained eggs.
- 4/5
Rooms are very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfectly situated for access to the beach, shops and eating places.
- 4/5
Location is amazing and staff were very friendly.
- 4/5
Most of the staff was really nice. The room was smaller than expected. It had previous water damage on the sliding bathroom door and water damage on the wall. On our last day, we came back to our room to find the AC leaked into in the wall and left a water pocket that leaked onto our bathroom floor. We called the front desk about it and were told an engineer would be out to check on it. No one came until we were about to check out the following day. We just got extra towels for the water. Also, there’s a $40 daily resort fee. Will say the location is great right off española way, the front desk were really fantastic! Besides, the A/C leak, everything was really good.
- 3/5
Very disappointed that the rooftop bar and pool were being renovated so there was no access which was the main reason I booked the Esmé. In compensation the hotel offered another sister property’s pool but it was .4 miles away which kind of defeated the perk of having a rooftop pool at the property. The service was good and it was nice that they offered two complimentary drinks from 5-6pm. The location was good with a bunch of restaurants right there and it was just three blocks from the beach but the room was one of the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. Very nice that they offered complimentary bicycles which was a great bonus. All in all we had a nice stay but it would have been SO much better if the rooftop pool and bar were open…beware that there is a 45$ valet parking charge which is pretty standard for South Beach…
- 5/5
Super cool property. Love the art deco vibe. Very South Beach
- 5/5
The pool was being renovated but the staff went out of their way to signpost alternatives and the many other facilities were easy to access. The rooms were extremely soundproof and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely go again.
- 5/5
Gabriel at reception was helpfull in getting us an early check-in which we were very grateful for. Thanks Gabriel 😊
- 5/5
Cute hotel, will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Ame mi estancia, seguro repetiré 💞
- 3/5
Stay was okay. Had to change rooms because the AC stopped working. Took a downgraded room.

- 1/5
Also, Hotels.com sent me an email before I checked in that since it was a VIP booking, I was supposed to get a free room upgrade and a bottle of wine. When I checked in the hotel claimed to know nothing about that. 100% a tourist trap hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent little boutique hotel
- 4/5
Location was great, room quite small but with character, could do with some upgrading inside the unit.
- 4/5
It was a very good experience and the place was nice and clean. There was a leak in the room but it was addressed promptly. The pool, which we were looking forward to, was being renovated when we went, but were offered to use another pool a few blocks away. Not the ideal option for us, but at least it was available. Would have been noce to know at the time of booking. The breakfast and it staff were very friendly and provided great customer service.
- 3/5
There was noise from construction going on at the property
- 5/5
Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, surrounding area is convenient walking distance to restaurants and the beach. They offer reserved chairs at the beach for hotel guests which is a quick walk 5-10 min. however if it’s hot out you have to pay extra for an umbrella, their pool is also off site a few blocks away.

- 5/5
Every corner of the hotel felt clean, safe, and well taken care of.
- 5/5
Customer service was top-notch, they truly care about their guests!!
- 5/5
This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
The hotel really pays attention to small details that make the stay extra special.
- 5/5
The hotel has a cozy atmosphere that makes you instantly relax.
- 5/5
A perfect stay from start to finish! The hotel exceeded all expectations.
- 5/5
The hotel responded quickly when our towels weren’t ready in time, which we really appreciated. Excellent Customer service!
- 5/5
We forgot a small item in our room, and the staff returned it promptly, so professional!
- 5/5
Loved the modern and elegant decoration of the hotel. It made the stay feel special!
- 5/5
The room was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding.
- 5/5
Such a great place to stay! At the center of everything, with lots of great food options and very near the beach.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel in great location. Nice restaurants outside door on espanola and a short walk to ocean drive.
- 5/5
loved our room, the pool was under repair however they were gracious and found a nice nearby pool for guests to go too! We loved our vacation!
- 5/5
Lovely, go-to property in Miami Beach. An oasis right next 24/7 vibrant Espanola Way. Close to beach and other walkable attractions.
- 5/5
%100 recommend
- 4/5
The hotel was so cute and full of character. Never stayed in a place like it. The staff was polite and on their game. I enjoyed the room and it was very clean. My only complaint is the pool was not open for my stay which is a big reason I booked this hotel. I wasn’t informed of the pool and rooftop construction prior to my stay nor was it stated online. And the drilling woke me up one morning. But I was refunded my resort fees and had a free breakfast one morning.
- 4/5
Smaller room than expected and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the vibe and location were great and close to South beach, shopping and restaurants.
- 4/5
Esmé was a great hotel. I would definitely stay there again because of proximity to the beach and restaurants. The only negative was the pool and rooftop was under construction and the alternative pool was not very nice. They should have told us the pool was under construction when we booked. I still would stay here again though
- 4/5
The hotel layout is confusing at first. Great location and decor.

Amazing hotel
- 4/5
The hotel is nice and the entire rooftop area is more than worth the price of the stay. All of the carpets I saw were soiled, including the one in my room, which ruins a stylish look and feel.
- 4/5
Everything was lovely- except our bed was slanted on both sides, it was not comfortable and affected our sleep. Also we had a ground floor room and the footsteps upstairs kept us up. Beautiful hotel and loved the bar and restaurants. All in all we would stay again.
- 5/5
Great place, unique and super clean.
- 1/5
Told us we got an upgrade. Instead we got downgraded to the smallest room and didnt do anything to make it right. Lies from 3 different people working there.
- 5/5
The staff were wonderful, all extremely kind and helpful. It is such a beautiful hotel, I was able to make myself feel at home really quick. I love how close it is to everything, including the restaurants nearby. Of course, my favorite part was being able to order myself a nice cocktail from the comfort of my room. This is my new favorite place to stay in Miami Beach. I will be at the Esmé Hotel every time I come back!!
- 5/5
This gotel is gorgeous, classy and in a well appointed area for walking, restaurants, shops and transportation pickups were a. Reeze. The rooftop pool and bar werent crowded and was in immaculate condition. The staff was very helpful, professional and always made us feel very welcome. We loved our stay here and will definitely book again to enjoy their Michelin star restaurant next time.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with the Miami vibe. The staff was great and would definitely stay again and recommend to others
- 5/5
It was great stay , room was perfect and reception staff . I would book again …
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful hotel.
- 2/5
Great welcoming service. Property looks good and was well designed, but by now rooms and amenities are showing clear signs of heavy usage, room carpet was all spotty, with stains all over, bathroom was not at it’s best condition, room is small and there’s a very noticeable smell inside, most likely due to the high humidity in Miami.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! The rooftop pool area is a vibe if you want to chill outside but not directly in the sun.
- 5/5
This was our first trip to Florida and we were honeymooning. We had an excellent stay in a very beautiful room. Jesus, Larry and Jose were all super knowledgeable and helpful during our stay. The spacing was adequate, and the interior decorating was chic and pleasing to rest in. We had two balconies in a corner room, and it was super quiet yet centrally (and perfectly) located. Great restaurants and vibes in the area and within close walking distance to all worthwhile areas of interest. I would highly recommend and would stay again 100%. The hotel was secure and closed its doors passed 10PM where then only people with key access could enter. Overall, we gave it a 9 out of 10 because of broken tiles in our room, a heavy shower door that hurt our hands and feet a few times, and the main door being particularly hard to close on your way out. Tap your key, then turn the knob, otherwise you risk disturbing neighbors shutting the door and that was inconvenient always needing to have your key handy to exit. Great stay though!
- 2/5
There was a big cockroach in the bathroom. We showed a photo to the staff, they didn’t seem to care, they barely apologized.
- 4/5
Beautiful area, lots of restaurants walkable.
- 5/5
The best hotel
- 5/5
Great location! Bed was comfortable and room was quiet despite being the the heart of So Beach!
- 5/5
Very small rooms
- 3/5
We were charged an additional $45 per night for a “village amenity fee” that wasn’t clearly disclosed before booking. This was on top of the city tax, and supposedly covered services like beach access — even if you don’t use them. The frustrating part is that when you actually go to the beach, you’re told you only get two chairs included and have to pay extra for a parasol, unless you want to roast in the sun. It felt misleading and borderline scammy. Breakfast was also underwhelming. There’s a small buffet, but anything hot, like eggs or pancakes, comes at an extra cost. You only get boiled eggs included, which felt stingy for a hotel of this level. We apparently had VIP Access benefits, but never received the complimentary bottle of wine or any other perks. Only found out about it later, which added to the sense of being misled. In short: nice design and lovely staff, but be wary of the hidden fees and unfulfilled promises. We left feeling like the hotel prioritised upselling over hospitality.
- 5/5
Third time stying there always have a wonderful experience and Jorge up at the pool is amazing !
- 5/5
This hotel is very cute. It looks like a lot of money was put into it and it lives up to being 4 stars. I love that its small and boutiquey. It is 3 streets to Ocean Drive which is about a 3 minute walk. The hotel rooms are very tiny, but its good for 2 people staying in a king room. It is right next to a bunch of restaurants. They have valet service. I just didnt like that the pool water was boiling hot in July. I wish it was cooler. The rooftop bar is nice, but definitely overpriced. We paid 42$ for 2 drinks and it was too much in my opinion. The rooms are clean. Sheets are crystal white. They provide robes too. Take your own water to your room. I will stay here again if the pool water is cold next time lol.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay with my girlfriend. The hotel is perfect for a cute, intimate and romantic stay. The rooftop with the pool and bar is really nice. The personal is really helpful and polite. I will definitely come back to this cute little charming hotel.
- 5/5
I LOVED Hotel Esme! The staff was so nuce and accomodating, and the room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Aside from the one little hiccup I had with a new staff member at the front desk, my stay was excellent from top to bottom. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!
- 5/5
Aside from one little hiccup with a new staff member at the front desk, my experience was wonderful! I would totally stay here again
- 5/5
Incredibly tidy and well-maintained. The staff offered us complimentary water bottles when we checked in, such a small gesture, but it made us feel instantly welcome,
- 5/5
Everything was spotless and well maintained. The AC wasn’t working when we arrived, but someone came up right away and took care of it. Great service and attention to detail
- 5/5
The cleanliness was top-notch and the team was amazing. They offered to call a taxi for me when I was running late and even helped with my bags. Very attentive and kind!
- 5/5
Very clean and stylish place. I was traveling alone and the staff made me feel safe and welcome. They were always available to help, and their attitude really made a difference.
- 5/5
Impressed by how clean everything was! The service was excellent too. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was professional and welcoming. I’d definitely return.
- 5/5
Super clean and comfortable stay! I asked for extra towels and the staff brought them right away with a smile. Great service and very responsive team.
- 5/5
Excellent experience! The place was super clean, and the staff made us feel welcome right away. We messaged ahead about our early arrival, and they had everything prepared. Smooth check-in and very kind team.
- 5/5
Gee, the bell hop was great accommodating, funny and kind good spirit and great personality
- 5/5
Loved the quiet vibe and the location, just a short walk from the beach. The room had a full kitchen, which was super convenient!
- 5/5
Stylish, elegant, and welcoming! The rooms are beautifully decorated and come with everything you could need, including Netflix. Breakfast on the rooftop café was a highlight. It’s also a perfect hotel for couples or solo travelers who want comfort and a great location.
- 5/5
What a gem in Miami Beach! Esmé offers luxury without feeling stuffy. The service was exceptional, and the attention to detail was impressive. I appreciated the valet service and free bike rentals. The whole space felt peaceful and boutique like. Would definitely return. THanks!!!!
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at Esmé! The vibe is modern with a vintage twist. My room was elegant, clean, and super comfortable. The rooftop pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Esmé Hotel is pure charm! From the rooftop terrace to the cozy garden, everything was designed with style and comfort in mind. The location is unbeatable close to Ocean Drive and the beach.
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
Only thing that was weird was the automatic charge of $35 charge for in room movies. We didn’t event watch tv or made use of the movies but still got that charge.
- 5/5
Miami.
- 3/5
Nice but rooms are super small nothing deluxe about those room even though you pay more
- 5/5
The hotel is in the heart of Miami Beach, just a couple blocks from the beach. There were numerous restaurants nearby and despite all of this the room was very quiet. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Really nice hotel in a great area. The staff was super easygoing and the pool area was beautiful. I only stayed one night before my cruise, but I wish I had booked a longer stay.
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
We were placed in the wrong room, nobody assisted us to our room or with luggage, but they did move us to another room similar to what we paid for once we asked, us finding and hauling luggage again. The room had a strange sulfur smell and shower smelled like urine even after the cleaning service. They do have clean towels and comfortable bed. The rug was incredibly stained. Shampoos and Conditioners not very high quality for the fancy price. Espanola way is a small street that is cute but very clearly over priced and directed towards tourists, you can’t walk without people (hardworking and obviously doing their job) trying to get you to sit and eat. Everywhere else looks rough and not cute. It’s fine depending on what you’re coming for but the fees seem like a cash grab and not really including any of the “traditional hotel” amenities. Cute for photos but I wouldn’t classify it as a 4/5 star hotel at all, for the price you can go elsewhere and just stop here for pics.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel in every respect. It has a great Latin vibe and design. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable with a powerful air conditioner. I loved the rooftop pool with bar. The hotel was very conveniently located on Espanola Way and Washington Ave. The beach is very close. I will definitely be back.
- 5/5
We loved everything about this hotel. It’s modern yet warm, and the location is absolutely perfect. The room was spotless and had great amenities like a Smart TV with streaming options and soft, high-quality bedding.. We also appreciated the beach towels and free bikes!!
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time at Esmé. The decor is stunning, and the whole hotel feels very boutique and high-end. The only minor issue was that the room was a bit warm when we checked in, but the front desk sent someone immediately to adjust the A/C and it was perfect afterward. Loved the rooftop pool and the bar!
- 5/5
Everything at Esmé was perfect for our couples’ weekend. The staff made us feel welcomed right away, and check-in was a breeze. The room was cozy, clean, and stylish. We loved borrowing the bikes to explore the area, and the beach was just steps away. The garden area is so pretty and peaceful. Can’t wait to return!
- 5/5
What a charming property! The style and vibe of the hotel are so unique and elegant. When we arrived, there were only two towels in the room, but housekeeping brought extras within minutes of our call. Loved the rooftop pool and how peaceful it felt despite being right in the middle of everything. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Esmé Miami Beach exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, including fast WiFi and a super comfy bed. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved relaxing on the rooftop terrace in the evening. We’ll definitely be coming back!

For a night or 2…they will work..but it’s the amenities and vide of this place that makes it all worth it! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!! Great Stay!!

- 5/5
Incredible location and amazing rooftop pool! The vibe is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Staff was always willing to help.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect, from the location to the service. The team at the front desk went above and beyond. There was a short delay with our check-in because the room wasn’t fully ready, but they offered us drinks and were very kind. Excellent experience
- 5/5
What a fantastic stay! Esmé has that boutique luxury feel without being pretentious. We had breakfast at one of the on-site restaurants and it was excellent
- 5/5
Esmé is absolutely lovely! The design is thoughtful and unique, and the garden area is peaceful. The beach is just steps away. One night we needed extra blankets and the staff brought them within five minutes. Great attention to detail.

Super cute boutique hotel with a great atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is perfect for relaxing after the beach!
- 5/5
Loved our stay at Esmé! The room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the smart TV was a nice touch. We didn’t have towels when we arrived, but housekeeping brought them right away with a smile. Great service overall!

A gem in Miami Beach! The hotel is stylish, clean, and full of charm. The restaurants are delicious, definitely try the Latin brunch. Staff was helpful and attentive
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with an unbeatable location! The rooftop pool is stunning and the vibe of the whole place is chic yet relaxed. We had a small issue with our key not working, but the staff solved it in minutes. Would absolutely come back
- 4/5
The Esme is worth the stay. The decor is tantalizing eye candy. The rooms are small but quirky, chic and cute. Overall a 4 out of 5.
