    Stayed 2 nights prior to a cruise. Great location, easy access to the beach and night life. The room was well maintained, with only minor issues that did not affect our stay at all. The front desk staff were engaging and helpful. We will definitely consider using this property for future stays.

    A special shoutout to Oscar at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. He gave us great recommendations for seafood restaurants, and his suggestion to try Sexy Fish turned out to be one of the best dining experiences of our trip. The food and atmosphere there were outstanding, and we really appreciated his local insight. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting South Beach, whether for a short stay or a longer vacation.

    Location was spot on . Very lively but yet not to crowded. First impressions were clean , and had an amazing scent. Staff was very welcoming and informative. Booked a suite 301 and was i impressed . Very clean , spacious and bed was oh so comfortable. The bar drinks were great , perfect spot to sip . Both breakfast and lunch were delicious .     The location was perfect! The staff was extremely nice! The hotel was not clean. When I checked in at 9:40pm on Thursday 05/28 . I had to call down to the front desk to get clean blankets and sheets. He came upstairs immediately, seen the issue and replaced the Sheetz offering me a new room as well. The restaurant food was good! Unfortunately, I couldn’t return to eat there because the table and glasses were dirty.

    The room was too small for 2 people. The floors and the bathroom was dirty with stains. Housekeeping kept leaving garbage behind on the floor. The iron didn’t work nor did the AC at first. Thank goodness the staffing was professional and polite. The strip was boring. All the restaurants had the identical menu. Instead of multiple surf shops maybe activities along the strip. Wet Willies lost their excitement. It was a drag. We had to leave the strip to find fun. We took an uber to the Hard Rock. The hotel is antiquated and small. Dust on the ceiling fan triggered my husband asthma. Never again!

    To make matters worse there’s a restaurant right below our room making it impossible to sleep with the loud music and drunk people. Rooms are very small and outdated. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel it’s all false advertising.

    The location is excellent—close to bars and restaurants, and right on the beachfront. The hotel provides beach chairs for free and umbrellas (though there is a separate $25 fee if you wish to use them). We absolutely loved everything! The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable; the rooms themselves are beautiful, spotless, and smell fresh. Each room features a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. There are discounts available for food and breakfast—though we didn't need to use them, as it was my birthday and they gave us breakfast as a complimentary gift! The staff are very nice and friendly—especially Rubens, who assisted us wonderfully upon our arrival and allowed us to check in early. It is also possible to leave your luggage there if you have a late flight to catch. I will 100% be returning again! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us. 🙏

Who could ask for anything better? I loved my visit and cannot wait to return. I only disliked the fact that I couldn't stay longer as I had a cruise to board, lol! Given a chance, I'd definitely stay there again. The delectable food from the Icon restaurant coupled with festive music played at the outdoor venue; the eclectic South Beach vibes and proximity to the beach; the hotel's beautiful Art Decor design; and great staff all made my short time there unforgettably and awesomely grand.

    A very pleasant place to stay in the heart of South Beach. The hotel was recently updated and the powers that be wisely kept the 1930s-40s vibe. We ate dinner and breakfast at the Icon Beach Cafe just in front of the hotel. Hotel and beach cafe staff were friendly, which made our stay pleasant.

    The location is good. There’s a convenient mini mart underneath the hotel. I paid extra for the discounted meals at their hotel restaurant, only to get there and realize anyone can purchase the discount vouchers, so I overpaid for the stay for no reason. Their restaurant is the most expensive one on the strip, we tried out several others. Sheets were over starched, no window to the outdoors, bizarre glass door to bathroom with large gap at the top. Shower curtain was too short for shower so water went everywhere for every shower. The supposed beach chairs/umbrellas you have to wait in line for, even if you don’t want the umbrella just the free chairs. Beach staff will come over repeatedly and harass you to check in for the chairs- we were ignored by an employee at the sign in kiosk, apparently they don’t open until 9:30(ish!) and somehow this is your fault. The hotel was a bummer overall- just way overpriced for no included amenities and a motel 6 bed comfort level. There’s a mini fridge but no microwave. Very small room.

    Great hotel and staff! Great location. Beware of the restaurant and its “happy hour”! We were told the ‘buy one get one free beer’ does not apply to the $9 bottles of beer offered. Only draft beers are at happy hour. We assumed the price would be the same or close. Our bill came and the beers were $25 a piece! Our $50 beer tab was more than our food! Very deceitful tactics!

    Room was clean and staff were accessible and helpful but the hotel felt a bit unpolished. The bathroom toilet seat wasn’t a proper fit and appeared to have some tiling repairs that were kind of shabby. It’s an ok spot to land if you want to be in the heart of nightlife, restaurants and the ruckus of Ocean Drive though.

    I enjoyed my stay here. Hotel was in walking distance of everything. They even gave c complementary beach chairs with your stay. There’s a restaurant outside front of the hotel and you couldn’t even hear the music or the loud noise. They only bad this I would say about my stay is I had the very first room on the first floor and I could here the customer bathroom flushing and the the employees across the hall talking and going in and out the door for the room there were using for the restaurant.

    Felt very walkable and safe. Restaurant offered a small discount for guests. 1st floor room was not bothered by street noise at all even on a Friday night. Bright, clean, cutely decorated room, bed was clean and comfy. Bathroom floor had an interesting residue (from a cleaning product?) but otherwise the place felt clean. Had everything necessary for a comfortable short stay (water bottles, safe for valuables, iron, hairdryer, luggage rack, tv, armchair, nice lighting, ample outlets) staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Small issue with toilet in the room was addressed immediately.

    My husband and kids stayed last Saturday it was awesome! However if you don't check in before 5:00 you don't get the opportunity to use the lounge chairs by the beach and they will still charge you the amenity fee. I thought that was a little weird considering we never were going to be able to use the amenities so why charge us. I really loved the bathtub the hose was a little wonky my daughter loved it I did have to clean it first! There was some stuff around the corner and some hair.. with such a short time and so much going on I just cleaned it and did what I had to do because we had to check out.

    Convince to everything. Lots to do while waiting for your room if you arrive early. Loved the cute unique elevator. When you are in the lobby if you look you will see this little door, open it up and there is the elevator. Such a cute way to hide the obvious ordinary look. And the staff was top notch. Cannot say enough. It really didn’t bother me but it may someone who does not like nose, but it was quite noisy way up in to the night. But hey it’s Miami. I would stay there again for sure.

    I spoke with someone at the hotel and explained the situation. They told me they would check with management and call me back the following Monday to let me know if they could accommodate the March dates. Unfortunately, no one ever called back. When I eventually called the hotel again, I was brushed off and told there was nothing they could do and that I needed to call Expedia instead. At that point, I had already been sent back and forth between Hotels.com, the hotel, and Expedia multiple times, with no one willing to take responsibility or help resolve the issue. What should have been a simple customer service fix turned into a very frustrating experience. The lack of follow-up and the constant redirecting between companies made it clear that customer service was not a priority. Very disappointing.

    The staff was very friendly and helpful. Having the convenience store in the basement was a great perk. The room (203) was huge, so was the bathroom. Very nice, renovated and up to date. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars may be our fault. Our room was in the front of the hotel over Ocean Drive. The music playing until 3:00 AM was a problem. Had we known, we should have opted for a different room, but since it was just 2 nights, we stuck it out. VERY nice people and hotel. Restaurant out front was very good too.

    The recently renovated room was a decent size and had great decor with similar furniture to my own house so I felt at home. The bathroom was nice...The shower was great - good pressure and hot - useful as Miami was having cold weather when I visited. The bed was also comfy. I was staying at back of the hotel so didn't hear any noise from Ocean Drive. The restaurant at the front was ok. The food was nothing amazing but the usual on the main strip. I've been to Miami six times and this was the best hotel I've stayed at. Definitely a four star hotel rather than a three star.

    The Waldorf Towers in South Beach Miami was a great stay. The location is fantastic—close to everything and perfect for enjoying South Beach. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

    Just a wonderful place to stay! We recieved a complimentary upgrade to a corner room with a great view of Ocean Drive. The room was bright, adorable, and incredibly spacious. The hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed exploring the area. To top it off, the hotel allowed us to check in an hour early and arranged for a late check out for a nominal fee so we had somewhere to stay before our cruise boarding time. Thank You!

    This place has so many negatives that they outweigh the positives. Apparently the street in front of the hotel had been closed since the holidays - and no one answers the phone number on the website. You might think they would have cared about their guests enough to warn us, but no. Their restaurant was also closed unexpectedly. We paid $25 resort fee for all that non-care. Then $50 for valet parking and we had to retrieve car ourselves. It almost overshadows the trash on the floor in our room and the gritty dirty floor.

    No place to park. Had to go several blocks away and walk. No way to load and unload luggage at the hotel. Shower had no rails to hold on to. Floor got exceptionally slick with soap residue. Severe fall hazard! Soap and shampoo dispensers are a joke!

    The pictures from the listing are not the actual rooms picture. You're not getting the black and white modern theme, but the pink pastel theme. Out of the 5 picture in their listing, 1 is the pink pastel and the 4 others are the black and white theme...really misleading.

    Regarding the room, The shower was still filled with sand. And the air conditioning did not work well at all and you are unable to adjust it any lower than what is preset. Our room did not have a view of the beach.

    This was a cool stay and conveint for walking to the beach, eateries, clubs etc. The property can use some more modernization outside/inside the hallways. Also, I would advise housekeeping to clean the air vents more. Two of the vents had a lot of dust.

    Its an older building on the beach, so its not supposed to be perfect. But the room was bigger than expected. I loved the bathroom. It has a little convenience store in the basement, a restaurant and was close to many other dining options and quick accessto the beach. We would stay here again

    They did let us check in 1 hr early. Room 85 degree s. Maitenance did come and check then we personally had to ask for a different room. No ice machine. No microwave on facility. No kleenex in room. Room very small. Old hotel with little updates.

    I read some reviews before booking and got concerned about the noise they mentioned, which made sense, but I was so tired that nothing bothered my sleep. The room we stayed was pretty good, well lighted and clean. I only wish there was a dresser cause my boyfriend is extremely messy. I’d like to thank you the staff by each name, but they were all so amazing and nice to us that I feel everyone deserves my compliments.

    Everything was great till check out. I prepaid for 2 rooms on Expedia and had to pay hotel directly for resort fee and valet. When I went to check out, the front desk worker was horrible. Wouldn’t give me a receipt and said Expedia needed to send even though I was to pay hotel directly and they took my credit card for pre auth’s. Then told me I still owed a lot of money but would not explain why or provide receipt. Terrible experience at check out. Not sure I would recommend this hotel.

    The decor is very upend. At night you didn't get the street noise from inside your room. It's very busy outside till very late. The convenience store right next door was awesome. You can get everything you need and they are open 24 hours. Ruben, the front desk person catered to our every need. Gave directions to places, helped with our bags and called us an Uber when we left. Five stars just for him. Exceptional customer service you don't find much these days. The restaurant right next door was great also. Good prices!

    The service was great. The WiFi, even after being assisted by staff, would not work. Our room was clean but my daughter's had insects -- live and dead -- on parts of it. (See photos.) The location is great but the noise levels are not conducive to getting rest at night.

    We were there for just a one night stay. I read the reviews to this hotel and done agree with the bad ones. They are remodeling so they have some rooms that they haven’t got to yet. Our was one of the remodeled. We didn’t see any ants or cockroaches. The hotel does have a restaurant so bugs are a down fall. The hotel does have chairs saved on the beach. I do wish their restaurant was serving breakfast at 8am instead of 9am. You can find other restaurants close that do serve at 8am. We will stay here again when we visit South Beach.

    The staff was great and pleasant. The room was nice but could be excellent if the cleaning was better. The floor was so dirty within minutes of walking barefoot my feet were black. The shower floor in the corners had rusted brown stuff coming out with mildew coming through on ceiling. The room was a good size but if getting a suite and having lights shining through at night bother you, don’t get the rooms facing the beach.

    As you walked on the infamous Ocean boulevard with Miami Beach and your backdrop you enter a unassuming foyer that is operational by definition but nothing over the top which is appropriate because what SEALs the show is the service the staff and the greeting that I received as I checked in. The gentleman that greeted me was efficient professional personable and just made the entire process so easy ask me the right questions and made me feel at home the second I walked onto property. The interaction with him was a preview to exactly the rest of my stay that was wonderfully hospitable and comforting. With an upcoming renovation, I can't wait to return to this property when the interior has a refresh because the hardest design element in any hotel is the people that work with it and they already have that design element curated to perfection.

    We booked this hotel for a two night stay after our cruise, the photos upon booking show the hotel to be fairly basic but clean and appealing. We were very disappointed upon arrival, many areas including the room were dirty and not cleaned properly in a while. Lots of dust on the hair dryer shelf, we found toe nails under the bed, the fridge in the room leaked, the tables & menus in the restaurant were sticky & grubby. The hotel have clearly tried to have a revamp but on the cheap with poor decorating standards, that coupled with poor cleaning standards brings this hotel right down. It’s a shame as the location is fantastic and this could be such a great hotel with a few minor tweaks & improving basic standards.

    The service at the desk isn't the best. My key kept on malfunctioning and it wasn't until the fourth time at the desk in 24 hours I was told not to leave it by my phone. I booked the stay through hotels.com and wanted to add another night. I made sure to inform the concierge and he said it'll be fine we can keep our room. Well we did but he charged us for it in addition to us paying hotels.com. I see the charge and go to him he apologized and said he'll take care of it. The next day checking out it asked again and again I was promised. Ten days later still on my card I had to call and be on hold for a while, total time 17 minutes to get my charge reversed. If you just want a place to sleep this is great. Close to the beach. But don't expect any service or security for that matter.

    The rooms were smaller than expected and needed a good cleaning. There was dust and hair in the bathroom and the sink and mirror were dirty. The blinds for the windows did very little to block out the light from the street and it made it very difficult to sleep. The carpets in the halls and stairs was old, stained and in need of changing.

    Location is everything for this hotel and get thr added bonus of sun beds on the beach and discount on restaurant Icon. The rooms we found a little disappointing and not quite as expected in images. Very low level lighting in rooms and lots of noise from in and outside the hotel made it difficult to sleep.     Was not good at all. Sink leaking in bathroom told front desk first day, never heard from anyone. The restaurant downstairs charged over $25 for a tiny chicken sandwich that on menu said grilled chicken and we got 1 kids fried chicken tender cut up on a tiny roll. 1 beer $25. At the last min waitress said oh yeah you get another free. What a joke. $130 for a terrible dinner and loud all night from the partying down below. Never again. Just walking near hotel was every restaurant harassing to come in and eat. Liked the nice beach area though across street.

    Do not require a ramp or help in this hotel. When you first get to the hotel, there is a restaurant off the sidewalk, crammed with as many tables as they could fit. To get in the hotel you had to walk up a decent stair case so sorry not wheelchair friendly. There was nobody to help with the bags or really at all. Nobody undated English and to charge resort fees, well just because it is by the ocean doesn’t make it a resort. Not worth the money if cost. I was very disappointed.

You woyld think being in a tourist area you would want to update uour hotel a bit. Location was perfect for the beach access and dining /drinking. Not a terrible hotel, we just wont be back.

    Check-in was efficient. Rooms are small because the hotel was built in the 1940s. Great location. Unfortunately, the small amenities are lacking for example no Kleenex the pump for shampoo and soap in the shower required 15 to 20 pumps each to get liquids onto a washcloth.
