    First room and entire lobby smelled like marijuana, not acceptable for my 5 year old son. Second room tv didnt work, floors were as sticky as a run down dive bar, shower didnt drain, restaurant was closed, pool under renovation. And to top it off, the day we left, i had to deal with a homeless man at the pool at 730 am asking for money, then argue with the valet to give me the keys to my truck in the front of the building i paid $50 to park for 1 night. I literally had to lock my truck with my phone to verify bc he lost the valet number for my keys after i presented my valet ticket. Cheap room, even worse hotel.

    I stayed here June1-5. This actually my 3rd time staying at this hotel. I had a beachfront room was spacious and clean. Loved the kitchenette. The staff was very friendly.

    I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It included a refrigerator and a microwave, which made my stay much more convenient. The bathroom was spotless and well kept. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

    I loved that there were little stores on the premises, the pool was nice and being right on the beach is perfect The valet efficiency is top tier! I didn’t like the amount of construction they had going on esp near the pool. Also I didn’t like that during the stay on my birthday they lost water from 11:30-4pm. I had to call twice about when the water is going to be turn back on and the guy receptionist give me a HUGE attitude

    Marco Polo is always a good stay. The room was nice, but there was a bit of lingering aroma about the air. Like someone smoked in there 3 or 4 stays back, or like the john went unflushed for a day or two. We bought a can of Lysol, gave the place a spritz, and all was well again. The staff we interacted with were an excellent, amiable lot, a pleasure to be around. We stay at Marco Polo when we visit Gulfstream Park and will return again to Marco Polo next time we have a racing event to attend.

    Outdated property, rooms are in need of desperate repair. For a place next to the ocean you would think they would keep the property updated. Water was off for an entire day, no notification they were doing this when I booked or after my booking was complete, had I known the water was going to be off I would have switched. Horrible place.

    Room was awful! The hallways are giving motel 6, looks straight out of a horror movie. The room is drenched in the worst smelling febreze. I felt the smell in my lungs after only a few minutes of staying in the room. Luckily I got a refund and got to go to a different hotel. Worst hotel experience I have had I would recommend to stay away from this place !

    Extremely outdated. Rooms smelt like smoke. No towels upon check-in. The “pool” cafe food was diagusting. The woman working it was extremely rude. I asked for more iced coffee very politely as it was filled 1/2 way, she said “god bless America” and walked away. The pool towels are stained.

    The hotel is dated the staff works hard to keep it clean and that is appreciated but the hotel needs some TLC also to replace the carpets for tile floors in the hallways and they need to not allow smoking of any sorts in the rooms as it’s unpleasant for those who don’t maybe invest in a smoking area easy to access and appealing. Also they should allow guest to bring their own snacks to the pool area or bring down their prices in the pool bar if we bought pizza at the yummy downstairs hotel pizza spot we couldn’t bring it to the pool area that’s no reasonable.

    You won't find a more reasonable hotel for the location. Nothing fancy, but rooms are clean and pool is nice. Beach is beautiful! This is our second time staying here and we would stay again. Only downside is that one elevator is often out of order, but they have a few others available.

    Las habitaciones son viejas bueno la propiedad como tal necesita renovación, el área de piscina buena , solo le falta más entretenimiento para las personas, ofrecer más variedad de comida, en general el servicio de los empleados muy bueno, atentos! La ubicación está buena porque tiene la piscina y la playa al alcance fue lo que más me gustó! Fui en familia y la pasamos lo mejor posible , pero si están buscando algo más actual está propiedad para mi no es la mejor! Es mi segunda vez llendo y siempre que voy el área de la piscina tiene algún problema de reparación o materiales de construcción. Deben mejor más

    The room is clean but outdated. Everything feels old. The bed was comfortable. There is easy beach access and a pool. Staff around the beach and pool area can be rude. Front desk staff are more friendly. Valet parking, while worth it, can be chaotic at certain times. Family friendly and the area is very nice. Way better than staying in Miami.

    My hot room was disgusting, not cleaned there were nail clippings on the floor? The sheets had hair all over them. Upon getting my room and going to shower there were no towels and took about 2 hours to bring them after calling.     This hotel is like a motel on a highway during your road trip. Room was not ready upon our arrival, but they gave us a key and told to go downstairs when we called front desk. There is no service, they left a body wash bottle empty, second day no towels were left and they didn’t bring them up, we needed to go downstairs to get them. Constant running water in the toilet. We got stuck on an elevator on the 11th floor. Only cafe with chicken wings by the pool. Additional charge for chairs by the pool. Draws from the dresser falling out on your feet, rusted medicine cabinet in the bathroom, two dirty chairs…terrible

    The room smelled horrible, with strong smell of mold and cigarettes even though we were given a non smoking room. The bathroom was filthy, with hair all over and mold all around the corners of the shower. The valet staff took over 1 hour to get our car and people who arrived after us got their car before us. Would not recommend and will definitely not be coming back.

    In the day, this was a grand hotel. It's totally worn out now and ready for a complete renovation. It will most likely be a tear down, though, for all the fancy new stuff going up around the area. The staff was decent enough, but the place is just tired. The location is excellent, so if you keep your expectations low, you will enjoy your stay.

    The hotel was solid. I knew it wasn’t going to be as glamorous as the ones round it but it had a decent pool and great access to the beach. The pool had some construction around it which was a little annoying. The one thing that drove us crazy was the pool towel situation. One day we were out for 3 hours and could not get a towel. Then we couldn’t dry off to put sunscreen on or even go back inside. It was overall not a good experience.

    The room was very comfy and clean. The building is a little dated, could use some upgrades. Great to have a balcony room with partial view of ocean. All staff very friendly and helpful. The day we were to check out, we were allowed to leave our luggage in a locked room and our car parked so that we could enjoy the day at the pool which we really appreciated.

    Our stay was good for a weekend. We rented a two queen bed room but wish we knew that we could’ve had the option to select a balcony room. The site didn’t show any diff selections and at the hotel they said it would’ve cost more to get a room with a balcony a day later. The pool had some construction going on now when we were there. Beach location and hotel location is great. Only negative is the elevators taking too long.

    The room and the entire hotel were neglected. In need of lots of repairs. When sitting by the pool in early afternoon, there was a crew of men working on the patio, drilling and hammering. The smell of tar was overwhelming. It was not a pleasant experience.

    The room was very old, beds, dresser, table and chairs- very dated and wiggly. The only person nice to us was the young man the room our luggage before we checked in. Went to use the pool, all the chairs are rusty and broken. Went to order food by the pool at 5pm and they said no we are closed! The AC vent unit in the wall was so loud couldn’t sleep with it on but too hot with it off. Bathroom vent and handle were very moldy. They were doing some construction by the pool. The good piece was you could leave and walk the beach!

    Our stay was okay. The nicest part of the resort was the fact that it's right on the beach. The pool was clean. The building is definitely showing its age. Some rooms have been remodeled but ours was not. Paid extra for an ocean balcony which was nice, however the room itself was dated and fairly gross. The floors were sticky and you could tell they haven't been properly cleaned in a very long time. Same thing could be said about the bathroom. It was also disappointing that we had to valet every time we needed our car, and there were hardly any restaurants / coffee shops within walking distance so we had to request our car and drive anytime we wanted to go get food. The beach and ocean were beautifully maintained. Overall our experience was okay, but we probably wouldn't stay here again.

    Hotel could use a remodel. Tooms are kind of old and multple things dont work, like the tv and no heat in the room. The shower has 1 temp, scalding hot. Although pressure was good, the tub spout runs even though the shower head is working resulting in the bathrub filling up while you are showering. On the bright side, it was quiet, clean and safe and we had a great ocean view.

    This hotel was not what I had expected at all. We arrived later in the evening from our flight with small kids and check in took forever as the one person at the desk was visiting with someone. Once we got to our room we were disappointed that it was very dated, old and small and did not look like the pictures of what we had booked (they showed a more updated version of the room). We then tried to put our kids to bed but we realized that our toilet was not working, the handle was broken. We called the front desk who said that they would send maintenance up which took quite a while, maintenance arrived with a plunger and assured us that the problem was fixed. We tried again after they left and it was still broken. We called back to the front desk and they said they would send someone to help move us to a new room, which again took a while. Then we moved everything to a different room which was in slightly better condition but had a much worse view from the balcony (we paid for the partial ocean view). The first night and day were rainy and miserable so we left for part of the day to a great science centre and wanted to try out the pool when we got back and the rain had stopped, but they had the pool closed for most of the day. We didn’t get to use the beach as the weather was bad (not the hotels fault). We tried the restaurant at the hotel next to the pool for supper which only had options like hot dogs, quesadillas, bad grilled cheese and it ended up costing close to $150.

    The room and appliances are very old. Very Old looking. Everything worked except for Heat function on A/C for Mid January stay. The bed was comfortable and the housekeeping was as fine. The lobby needs updating too as well as the eateries. Although food was not bad at all and very convenient to access. The pool, pool bar and pool are probably best thing. The location and beach access was Fantastic. Hotel just needs bigtime upgrades but service was good and location excellent. Put an 100 million upgrade into this building and you have yourself a prime 5 star hotel. Of course my rate would double.

    I feel like my hometown suburbs cheapest motel is probably cleaner than here. There is no attention to detail, crumbs and dust were everywhere it was disgusting. I ran my finger on the nightstand and phone and it came up with dust, how is a high traffic area like that not cleaned long enough for such dust to accumulate? There were obvious horrible putty patch jobs all over the walls and ceiling, the bathroom had filth caked along the side of the vanity, the toilet paper roll holder and faucet were speckled green/rusted. We got in late and made sure the bed linen was clean enough to sleep in. When we went to call for valet to bring our car in the morning they told us 20 minutes, when we came down we waited an additional 25 minutes. I promise I’m not a hard to please person, but this wasn’t some dust in a corner no one ever touches, it was the sloppiest room I’ve stayed in.

    Im not a picky guest but what happened to me and my family of 3 was not acceptable. The staff was good, but the room was all smelling wet the whole stay, the carpet did not look clean and it also looked old and wet. There was a lot of humidity in the room that made me sick. I had to sleep the two nights with the windows opened because I couldn’t even breath and the bedsheets had a strong smell of Clorox which did it worse. After our stayed all of our cloth had that smell of humidity penetrated that we had to go to a laundry and wash them all in order to continuo our vacation to Orlando. They also did not refund me the whole amount of the hotel security fee which is the first time that a hotel for some reason keep a part of it, and the cabinets also were all old and peeling out the paint because of humidity. Overall I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. I still can smell that humidity on my clothe so bad.

    Valet: a hot mess not enough room for al the cars coming and going, strong language barrier and loosing keys. 2 times they could not find my keys -1st time because the car was left in the turnabout keys were still in drawer -the 2nd on our departure day when leaving for airport the lady on the phone said no key turned in. We went down and were told no keys turned in. The lack of assistance was appalling. after 30 minutes the supervisor sent someone to ramp to confirm we did drop the car off, when he found it over there he did not know what to do. so kept going with the traffic that was coming in. After over an hour wait I asked if I could look on their board and I found it in after the 7th key looked at. The room itself had a good view, but that' about it

    I believe it is part of Time share property (they asked me whether i am an owner or not when i checked in) some of the floor are still remodeling. I checked in with family on 22. they assigned me a room close to trash chute and as soon as we go in the room, smell like trash inside. i went back to Front desk and they exchanged me different room right away. In the second room ceiling paint in the bathroom peeling off a little and no fan for moisture and condensation from shower. Again, they are still remodeling and i am pretty sure it will get better after. Still had to pay resort fee ($20/ night) on top of everything. Parking is $30/night for valet after another ($20 /night) for parking resort fee totaling $50 /night for valet parking. Aside from that, it is located right on surf beach. Heated out door pool, some shops in the Hotel. We enjoyed it.

    The a lot of the hotel staff is friendly but the front desk not very helpful they seem like they don’t want to work there either. The worst part is on Tuesday 12/30 they turned the water off during the day for a bit over four hours . Could not use the toilets but people in Public bathrooms had too No running water to wash hands Hotel did not offer credit or anything even voucher for inconvenience. They could have done repairs in nighttime when people were sleeping. I would have never booked the hotel if I knew that was happening. Not sure how the outside kitchen was operating without running water to wash everything and especially hands . Staff had no communication with the gm and could not give updates. Pool was gross on Tuesday filters seemed clogged and a lot of white stuff floating in the pool no one cared. Beach chairs are not included like other hotels I had stayed at in area.

    I'm honestly not a negative review kind of person, but considering my wife and I agreed that we won't be back as we exited the parking area, hopefully this will be helpful. We were unaware that the facility is made up of privately owned rooms. Ours as incredibly out dated. The floor, while free of papers or sand or the such, was really dirty. Socks and bare feet were black within a day of average use. And the beds. The beds are described as "queen" sized in the Ramada site AND in the real estate listings of "for sale" units. The beds in fact are "full/double" beds. Lastly, no actual restaurant. The pool bar food was edible, but certainly not good. The best thing we ate within the building was a bagel and a muffin from the lobby snack bar before we departed. The experience as a whole was not what we had expected, and was disappointing.

    Check-in was late, disorganized, and handled by staff who were rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. No apology. No explanation. Just attitude. The biggest red flag? We trusted the concierge with our luggage, only to later discover our suitcases were dumped in an unsecured public walkway where people constantly pass through on their way to the pool. Anyone could have taken them. This is basic hotel security, and they failed spectacularly. The room was disgusting. It was visibly dirty and overwhelmed by a harsh bleach smell, which made it obvious they were trying to cover up filth rather than actually clean. It felt uncomfortable, cheap, and unhygienic definitely not somewhere you want to sleep. The pool area was another joke. They ran out of clean towels, which says everything you need to know about the level of incompetence here. A hotel that can’t provide towels shouldn’t be operating. Overall, the entire property feels neglected, outdated, and grimy. This hotel desperately needs renovations, better management, and staff retraining because right now it fails at even the most basic expectations of hospitality. Save your money. Save your time. Read this warning and book literally anywhere else.

    Right after finishing a shower, the entire shower curtain rod fell on my head, knocking off and damaging my $300 prescription glasses and leaving me in pain. I immediately reported this to the front desk, but instead of concern or support, I was met with dismissiveness. When I expressed frustration about the clear safety hazard—especially since I was traveling with an infant—the staff suggested I was “escalating” for wanting to file a formal complaint. Maintenance eventually arrived and informed me the room had non-standard, privately modified fixtures, which makes this incident even more alarming. Attempts to meet a manager were repeatedly brushed off; no one ever came forward, and when I insisted on documentation of the incident, the staff called security rather than take responsibility. This hotel failed at basic safety, professionalism, and accountability. No family—or any guest—should have to experience what we did. I strongly urge others to avoid this property.

    Housekeeping kept up on their part changing out the towels, making the bed etc. But the hotel is a dump. Bathroom was gross bc it’s so old, rusted & holes under the sink. The hotel lobby is super outdated, the hallways smell like old cigarette smoke because I think people can live there now, which is why I felt like the strange people I saw coming in out belonged to those units. If you’re just staying the night and need a cheap place to crash, ok. Otherwise stay in Aventura, it’s minutes from the beach.

    Checked-in late after long haul flight. Found four long black hairs on the bathroom wall. Informed the front desk early next morning and was offered a room change. Declined as we were unpacked and scheduled to go out for the day. We asked them to make sure it was cleaned. Returned later in the day to find room had been cleaned, but 4 black hairs still remained. We asked for them to be removed and returned later to find only two removed and two still remaining. This time we took the room change. No formal apology. No offer of compensation for the inconvenience.

    Booked a room with 2 queen beds, but got a room with single queen bed. We PAID for the extra bed! The TV screen turned on with no reason in the night and its glorious light shined on everyone's face.     We had a dance convention this weekend and chose this place to stay because of the reasonable price compared to ones that are near the JW Turnberry (location of the convention). Plus, it was located right on the beach. You must valet when you get here and of course there is a charge for those built into the price of the stay. We understand that since there is no parking lot on premises, they use the lot right next door. They also let you know that it takes about 20 min to get your car so be mindful of the time. Checking in was easy and the staff is super nice. The hotel doesn’t offer much for eating except a pizza place and a small food café, they do have a small shop along with a barbershop on premises. The pool was nice, and they had plenty of towels. The beach is right there after the pool, which was very nice too. Chairs and umbrella were not included in our stay $20/umbrella and $10/1 chair. The room was a little dated and since they have stoves in the room, your neighbor might be cooking and there will be some smells coming from the rooms. The bed was not bad, but not excellent either. Sheets were cleaned but the chairs in the room were ready to fall apart. The thermostat in the room must be from the 60’s because I’ve never seen ones like these before. You might want to turn the fan down since it can be loud. Overall, the stay was not bad and not much you can do about the rooms being so dated.

    Clean room! Very spacious. It had a decent sized refrigerator (not a dorm fridge), a stove top, dishes. It was a mini studio apt. And the price was perfect. It was reasonable for a place right on the beach. It is older & only12 floors- not a highrise. But the history of the place makes up for that. I loved thinking about how the hotel was hear long before all the others and it is still going strong!

    The room was filthy. Hair everywhere. Splatter of who knows what on the cupboards. The couch was so gross I didn’t dare sit. On top of that there was NO heat or hot water. We asked and she said the hotel didn’t have heat…. I asked for extra blankets they didn’t have any. They found one and brought it up hours later. I went to bed with long pants, socks a hoodie and jacket. Terrible in every aspect. Very run down, disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE

    Water was off for several hours one day. Lots of construction going on, causing lots of noise. Tub was slippery (no safety patches) and bath was dingy and needed painting. Room was small. Doordash bag left outside the room was there when we checked in, still there four days later when we checked out. Bed changed on day 3, but towels not changed (we mistakenly left them on hooks so they'd dry after learning they'd not be changed daily)! Outdoor deck had great view of water, but only two hard-back upright chairs for sitting, no tables, no lounger. We will NOT be coming back to this place!

    Be careful with food stand in the middle of the lobby. They will charge more then the prices listed in the menus. You have to wait 30 minutes for the valet to get your car ready when they basically park it in the driveway runabout in front of the hotel. The room itself was just ok. The "hotel" is also a place where people can buy rooms to live in so keep that in mind when thinking that this is just for people visiting. The only reason worth staying at this place is beach that it's attached too. Me and my partner were lucky enough to stay during absolutely beautiful weather which made it great to go out and spend the day in the sand.

    Nice place for the price. Ocean front room was nice. Bathroom needed some attention. No ventilation in the bathroom. Toilet was like a rocking chair. AC Tstat was confusing. Could not set temperature. It was either On or Off. Beds were clean and comfortable. It’s an older hotel so there’s that. Only so much you can do other than a remodel. I would definitely stay again. I’m not too picky.

    We didn't get the room we requested and the room was dirty it was changed and smelled like mildew. I requested a manager and was told I needed to call since she wasn't there and today I called 3 times and was told she was in meetings. No one has called me back. we didn't even spend the night I wanted at least a portion of my money back and that isn't going to happen unless I drive there to get a manager in person horrible place. Oh and lets not forget paid the valet $30 for them to have my car 2 hours since we didn't spend the night and the $100 deposit they haven't released and don't forget the resort fee $25 per day

    They changed our rooms in an attempt to “compensate” but with each change, just got worse. Everyone seemed preoccupied when you asked for help. The only staff we encountered pleasant and professional was a Hispanic young lady with glasses and an Afro-American young man with Locs. The hotel itself needs some work. If you’re the type that’s just looking for somewhere to lay your head and don’t care about anything… this is for you. If you’re a “neat” person…. This isn’t for you. They need work!!!! Well at least the rooms they gave us. 3 elevators and only 1 worked. We were on the 10th floor. The valet parking is a mess!!! But unfortunately you’ll have no choice because there aren’t any other parking options. We didn’t utilize their pool so I can’t comment on that area. It Looked nice but we were so over our stay because it sucked from the moment we realized they didn’t provide the service paid for AND being disrespected by George. You Don’t get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. NEVER again!!!!!!!!!

    I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt this was important to share so others are aware before booking. This property is in a great location—right on the beach—and the staff are friendly, but unfortunately, the overall condition of the building is very old and poorly maintained. Our room was clean, but extremely outdated. The door, although locked, was so loose that my 6-year-old son was able to push it open with a bit of force—definitely not safe. The cabinets were damaged and didn’t close properly, and the bathroom tub had visible stains. Even more frustrating, the shower only had hot water and no cold water at all. I called the front desk asking for assistance, but no one ever showed up. I had to take a hot shower because I was on a schedule for an event. One of the worst experiences happened while I was sitting on the 7th-floor balcony with my family, enjoying a coffee. Suddenly, dirty water came spilling down on me from either the balcony above or the roof—completely soaking me. I showed my shoes to the cleaning lady nearby, and although she was laughing and surprised, this was not something to be taken lightly. It was uncomfortable and unacceptable. I truly hope the management takes steps to renovate and address these issues. This property has potential because of its location, but as it stands now, it needs serious attention. I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience these problems during their vacation

    My stay was great! The room had more than enough staff. The pool and beach were very close to each other and accessible with free towels, umbrella and chair to use poolside but you have to pay for an umbrella and chairs on the beach. There are food options by the pool and inside the hotel for an affordable price but there aren’t many food options around the neighborhood so I recommend renting a car or even using public transportation. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall 10/10 great stay!

    We stayed there for 2 nights. 3 families. 3 separate rooms. 5th floor, 6th and 9th. Staff at the pool didn’t speak English, so it’s hard to ask a question and get an answer. They closed a pool for most of the day on our 2nd day and reopened after 6 pm which was ridiculous considering the beach was full of seaweed with high waves that day so most of the people wanted to enjoy the pool. No hot water in showers in all 3 rooms for entire stay. When we asked on Front desk, they kept telling “ They are aware of that and maintenance team is working on it. There's no hot water in entire building “ Our ocean view rooms turned out to be construction views.. As there is construction going on at the building which doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.

    We stayed here for two nights as we came into town for a concert. We checked in the first afternoon and lounged by the pool. The first night we did have hot water. The second day we went out by the pool but it was closed and no one could give us an explanation. We did not have hot water for our second night or the next morning. No one would answer the front desk phone to get answers. Won’t recommend & won’t stay again.

    The hotel smells and my room had a pungent moldy smell. I woke up in the morning coughing and wheezing. The beds were comfortable. That was the only good thing. There was a lot of shady people staying there. I would never stay here again. The building must have had a flood and needs remediation. Oh, and the valet situation is ridiculous. It takes 30 minutes just to bring your car around. Also they never told you that they’re gonna charge you $30 to park your car with valet every night and then they don’t tell you until check in. I asked if there was other places to park and they said they don’t know but if there is, it’s probably gonna cost you. It would’ve just been nice if it’s applied at the beginning so you know how much you’re gonna pay instead of all these hidden fees.

    Loved the stay, nice hotel, affordable, with a great location and beach. But we had a bad experience with elevators broken. Only 2 elevators were working and we had to wait almost an hour to be able to get our things down from the 7th floor to check out because elevators were always full.

    I reserved an oceanfront room and the guy from reservation gave me an 11 th floor, no ocean, went back to him and requested my oceanfront room, after he said they were all full, he gave the oceanfront room on 3rd floor… last night tried to sleep and the loud cuban neighbors had loud music At 2 am and drunk, arguing, slamming doors ect, called security and they didn’t even come, awful experience, guetto place.

    Me & husband reserved for 3 nights Friday 6/13 to Monday 6/15. Bathroom was not working we had to ask three times during the day on the 14 to fix the bathroom finally they did. I was charged 167 which $100 was a deposit for any damage apparently( reservation was paid before to arrive) We did checkout Sunday afternoon and we receive only a $10 back, I call the hotel and was told they charged me $30 per day for car parking ridiculous because we arrived by uber since we were traveling by airplane from VA. I called 3 times and the manager refused to speak w/me telling a staff to tell me she was going to a meeting and that she would check with the valet person to make sure I didn’t use any parking. I was supposed to get a call back with a solution thing that never happened the worst experience with Miami and Ramada Marco Polo, people don’t go there unless you want to be scammed, and robbed this hotel is nothing compared with what you see on internet.

    I came to the lobby to request for my car to be brought and the response was less than welcoming as I was told that since I didnt reqiest the car via the phone it would take from 20 to 30 to get it. I explained the situation that I need it rigjt away as I had to be at the court house to sign as a witness to the wedding. The valet service told me that it wasnt their problem and that they would get to me when it was my turn. As a result my cousins had to ask the judge to delay the ceremony and I had to end up paying a penalty for the delay. Also the following day I requested towels to my room and it took four calls and me having to go to the reception to pick them up. When I got home upon looking at my bill I noticed that I was billed for 3 extra night of valet parking and local taxes.

They charge you for parking a car if you have one… You do have access to the beach, but you have to pay for Lounges and umbrellas on the beach…

    I book, and once I get to the property the front desk would not give me a room for the night. If you are going to charge guests to stay on a certain night, make sure you have a room to provide.

    Let me start with the one positive. There is a fantastic Italian pizza joint in the Lower Level (LL) with the kindest staff and excellent food. Arrival is chaotic due to the valet parking, and their limited instructions. This began a repeated issue with language, apparently if you don’t speak Spanish it’s going to be a problem. We often had to give up on what we needed because staff could not understand us. Our room remodel seemed to be incomplete. Fellow travelers had toiletries dispensers and toilette paper holder. Our room did not have these items. Pools closed earlier than we would have expected for a Friday and Saturday night. Finally security will harass you, in Spanish, if you are eating food that was not purchased at their pool bar. Area felt safe and clean, but we will not stay here again.
